Ezio - Assassin's Creed

A portrait work of Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin's Creed 2.

I started this artwork around January (or late last year) and I stored it somewhere, forgetting that it existed for some time. I then found it again and decided to finish it. The one thing I hate the most is having unfinished artworks lying around, especially when you completely forget that you even started it. I'd also like to point out that my scanner fails to present some small details and the background properly, so it looks so much better IRL...

This artwork is dedicated to my friend =D17rulez who continues to inspire me with her beautiful artworks. If you haven't seen her gallery yet, you should really check it out! She did her version of Ezio, which inspired me to do this picture. You can find it here.--> [link]

I haven't played any of the AC games properly yet. :C

Assassin Link II

*Updated*

After receiving some feedback, I've edited this piece a bit such as:

- Added a metal Triforce buckle on his leather sash.
- Replacing the old normal sword with the The Master Sword.
- Fixed his fingers a little.
- Added the Hylian Shield bird crest on his chest.

He will remain right-handed, just like in Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess (Wii version) and the Wii U tech demo. I won't be changing Link to being left-handed (sorry!) He has two hidden blades with one on each hand, but he's only ejected one out for the show.

Thank you to all of those who gave me friendly feedback. <3 This was done to balance out the AC and Zelda out since there was far too many AC elements and not enough Zelda.

My new design of Link as an Assassin. I changed a bit of the design a little and added a sword to Link's inventory. I plan to do some character sheet of him for more detail and info. (:

Inspired by one of the Assassin Creed official artworks found here--> [link], except I made my own version that represents the Legend of Zelda. Link has finished his adventure, with Ganon slayed in the background (as you can see his orange mane in the rain), and the Master Sword rested in the ground beside Link as he falls to his knees, looking up into the sky as it starts to rain to wash the blood, pain and evil away.

The death scenes of Ganondorf/Ganon are always awesome, but will we ever see one quite like this? Probably not.

I completely went all out with textures this time!

Assassin Link Sketch

I had to put a watermark on this piece since other people started uploading this on other sites, claiming that they drew it.

Mechanical pencils + standards pencils on A4 Sketch paper. Self created textures placed in digitally.

This is what happens when I play Assassin's Creed and Zelda too much. I kinda... wanted to combine them.

This is my personal view on what Link would look like if he was an Assassin in Hyrule. I would go absolutely ballistic if such a game was to ever exist in the future. But I dream. <3
I've put some of Zelda's famous designs here and there such as the Triforce mark on the front of his hood-thingy (_{and having his poor ears stick out for the fact that it looked weird if it was just bumps underneath}) as well as altering the Master Sword into the iconic Hidden Blade. It's more or less a mix up of both Ezio and Link's clothing.

I definitely need to get back to using my pencils again for more down-to-earth traditional sketches and artworks. Also, I started this artwork months ago and procrastinated on it for a long time. But I forced myself to finish it today and I'm glad I did. <3

I guess I'm taking my fan rage to a whole new, frightening level.

Based on my earlier sketch and design -

I've been meaning to finish this ages ago.

I've added more to my design of Assassin Link and fixed some things up which took a while, but I enjoyed every second of it.

I so want a game where Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series will combine...
But like that will ever happen.

Oh well, it doesn't hurt to dream!
