Artist Comments: Kyle's xmas present. It's the twins from Fatal Frame 2 crimson butterfly. Good game. This took me about 2 1/2 months of working on it. Not every night, but here and there for about 2 hours. Still adds up to quite alot of time. hope you enjoy because it is one of my favorite peices of mine.

Supplies used:
.5 mechanical lead for sketching, prismacolor pencils for color, prismacolor colorless blender and white for blending.
Time taken:
2 1/2 months, 1-2 hours almost everynight

Had to spend hours in the hospital today for a check up, n bloods n stuff, while waiting I sketched a few ladies in frames.
I was recently asked to do a commission like this and the idea must have been stuck in my head cos thats all i was drawing! lol
So when I got home I slapped it into photoshop, did a quick splash of colour and here she is.
Btw the actual sketches are small, like 3 inches each!

I'll upload the other girls when I have time to colour them. I will also do a digital colour of this when Im not so busy.
In the meantime i hope you guys enjoy a bit of sketchyness!

Even though I only added a bit more butterflies & Sae in the background. Just a oekaki I did a while back. Fatal Frame, in my opinion, is probably the scariest game I've played Resident Evil and Silent Hill freaked me out, but....damn, Fatal Frame is the only game that actually made me scream out loud and drop the controller ^__^;; I will refuse to play it alone at night...that's how freaky it is

This is one of my very best drawings to date. Definitely one of my favourite charcoals to be sure! It took me somewhere between 12-13 hours over the period of three days to create.

It's a dual Christmas present- the original goes to my best friend ~samanthakh, and the picture itself is dedicated to one of my very favourite writers- Sidney Sussex. This was inspired by my favourite story of hers of the same name (that I quoted above). You can read it here: [link] To those of you who aren't fans of slash, there is very MINOR slash- one not super-detailed sentence. That's it. XP So yeah, go ahead and read it because it's awesome and amazing and you'll love it!

If you want to ignore my many mistakes, skip this next paragraph XD I'm going to take advantage of my newly-gained premium membership [Thank you TONS, =SilverInkblot] to ask y'all to critique this. Just because this is my newest baby doesn't mean that I want you to hold back. I'm still very new to charcoal, and I know there are a lot of things I need to work on. I really want to improve, and your feedback is a part of that! Some things I'd love to know if you're stuck on where to start:

-Can you tell he's made of metal? If you can't, what are some things I can do to this or do next time to make it more obvious?
-Can you tell that there are glowing lines on his face?
-I realize that my heart anatomy needs working on, but does it at least somewhat look realistic? What is some advice you'd give to improve on that?
-I am leaving the eyes alone for now, but do you recommend giving him pupils or perhaps a camera shutter to make him look mechanical?
-Does this concept work, or is it overdone?
-Does the black background look good or like a cop-out?
-Is this piece balanced or lop-sided?

Two things:
-One, can anyone guess the significance of Sherlock's number?
-Two, did you hear that Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast as a/the villain role in Star Trek 2!?! From what I've heard he MAY be a rogue computer or robot. As I'm a firm believer that Cumberbatch would play an excellent villain, this makes me extremely happy. I hope that the script/plot/etc. is good. I really enjoyed the first movie and hope the second isn't a dud.
