Kuchiki Byakuya. A character from Bleach.
I think he's the easiest to draw.
This one is for ~cherryicecream because I think you like him. :-D
So hope you like it.

I worked with black ink and a (very old) brush (because I have no money left).
I don't wrote the kanji "Kuchiki Byakuya" by myself because I cannot write kanji.
I scaned them from the bleach manga :-P

Hello, I'm finally uploading something XD. This is something I drew and painted awhile ago.

I hope you guys don't mind all the watermarks on the image. I've been having some problems with my art being stolen. So hopefully this would be more of a deterrent. And this way you guys can enjoy new art as well~

Second in the Shinigami Pin-up series: Kuchiki Byakuya.

Well, it's taken me a lot longer than I originally intended (anybody remember when I posted the WIP version and said I'd have it done in a week and a half? try almost two months.), but he's finally done! Overall, I guess it's not a bad thing that it took so long; I don't think a rush-job on this would have turned out very well. It still doesn't look *quite* like I imagined it should, but I've done the best I could, and I'm happy with it. Oh, and the background is supposed to look like sumi painting on a sreen or wall. I've stared at it so long that I can't tell if it actually does, but it's supposed to, anyway.

Now to finish Renji and Kisuke, and then on to Hitsugaya...

EDIT 7/14/06 - I reuploaded the picture, this time a little more saturated. It's been nagging at me for several days now... I wasn't happy with how it looked, but I couldn't figure out *why* - I was happy with my color choices and everything, so it didn't make much sense; then I tried increasing the saturation just a bit. Ahhh, much better now.

The 14 th image done for Anime North 2008.

I was lucky with this guy. I barely thought when I was working with this one- he just demanded to come out with such a presence- and that’s expected form someone like Byakuya Kuchiki.

The pink petals were so fun to do. I didn’t even calculate- as far as composition went- where they should go. I just darted it out. And the subtle pink just made the picture alive.

I was trying to find a black pineapple paper to mount him on. Sadly, they didn’t have any, so I mounted him on a black. Frankly? I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a nice cloth-paper of the black variety. And then, above the painting I will paint in gold a sakura flower, or the squad emblem.

This is the type of art i want to do: anime-realism. This is my fourth one layer piece I've done and I really like it. And yes it was completely done on 1 layer, haha.
When I look back on my old stuff, I really see the improvement I've made in 1 year. I remember I sometimes put stuff on dA in small quantities at the beginning. In all honesty I really didn't think my work was any good. But now I've become a regular here. Wow, how the days go by. ^^

Anyways, I hope you like this piece, even if you're not a Bleach fan.

yes, I tried to draw Kuchiki Byakuya from Bleach *_*; Tried a new kind of lineart, I wanted to do it more "shounenish" than "shoujoish" XD;;;; but the sakuras gave it the "shoujo feeling" again .....
Although it has just a few colors, the background was pretty hard to do @_@;;;;

According to the poll, the little Yachiru chooses to stalk Kuchiki Byakuya on his habitual night walks. But, since the Global Warming is truly affecting Soul Society’s weather the heat was quite unbearable for those who dress Shinigami’s uniforms.

Surprisingly at that night, our beloved Kuchiki Taichou was also feeling a little... hot. And for that part of his clothes were a bit uncombed.

A not very light wind suddenly passed through the garden and made Byakuya’s Haori fall. But in the middle of his contemplation of some Sakuras he didn’t even notice when the girl’s camera was positioned and then...

FLASH!!!

... Next day... in Soul Society...

Renji: WTF IS THIS???

Byakuya: …Abarai Fukutaichou, _{*annoyed stare*} would you mind not screaming in the 6th division office?... ¬¬

Renji: Er… s-sorry, Taichou… It’s… just that… _{*with the newspaper in hand*}

Byakuya: What is it?...

Renji: T-that… lil brat did it again!! >_<

Byakuya: Who did what?...

Renji: I mean… t-this…_{*hesitates but in the end gives the newspaper to his Taichou*}

Byakuya: … _{*staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaares for a long while*} …

Ah yes, another Byakuya Kuchiki fanart, this is at least the 10th one I've done of him already... and I'm still not tired of drawing him

I am tired however of drawing little detailed cities as backgrounds. A lot of the city details were lost in the coloring, but if you take a look at the pencil only version (link below) you'll see what I mean. *nurses sore hands*

Drawn completely in regular pencil (on 8.5x11 computer paper) then scanned and darkened. I then added in some color with photoshop under the pencil. Some effects were also added above the pencil.

This artwork is a continuation of

~>a project I ignored quite a few times now....It's an idea both me and a colleague shared months ago, about making Toshirou the 'Winter', Byakuya the 'Spring', Ichigo the 'Summer' and Renji the 'Autumn'...Lol

I changed his hairstyle a bit, because I didn't have any full reference of how Byakuya's new hairstyle actually looks like.

Sept 4/11 edit: I was going to make a wallpaper of this image for myself when I saw how bad the hair looked. So I got inspired to repaint it and while at it, I edited and readjusted a bunch of colors and the lighting. It's still not perfect, but at least it looks a bit better then it did

My first submission for 2011 (on DA anyway) and yep, its another Byakuya drawing. ^^ This was just me trying something new in my spare time during the Christmas holidays. I wanted to try my hand at making some new patterns and shapes (hence the borders), and the whole idea was rather an experiment in my mind. In the end, I rather like the over all look. ^^

Btw, I also have a second, realistic, Byakuya in the works of him dressed up as the Incubus/demon from episode 304 *drools* So expect that in the coming weeks.

It took me 5 days to complete this fan art, I'm always happy to try something new in my paintings, though it is not easy as well...= __ || Maybe the final version is different with the one in my mind, at least I tried.

Yes, another Byakuya drawing *drools*. This one was started just as a random sketch one night. (I also have a few others started that night that I hope to finish and post soon).

I always love seeing Byakuya dressed in normal 'human' clothes so that was the main idea behind this one.

As always there are a few things that bug me, but generally, I'm pleased with the finished result.... And before people ask, yes there are leaves floating around INSIDE the room for no apparent reason. *sighs*

Ugh, I've been so uninspired and uncreative lately... and I've really been struggling and frustrated with all my current work that I just needed some sort of distraction and release. So to ease tension I just started doodling out another Byakuya picture (it's actually based upon a old sketch of him I did about a year ago that I decided to go back and finish) . It ended up being just what I needed and I'm actually feeling much better now (staring at him is relaxing no?) XD There is probably lots of mistakes _{(and I really hope he doesn't look to girly)} but I really don't care at the moment, I'm just happy that I'm feeling more ambitious to get back to my usual work.

Byakuya: *blank stare* why are my clothes falling off?
Me: Because there aren't enough pictures of you showing off your lovely skin.
