Paris is adorable and I was so happy to see her tonight. She made me an AWESOME Batman blanket. I had her pose with that too so pics sooooon! It's a cool blankie!!

When I saw Avengers with my friends Irene Savona and Chris and Agent Coulson supposedly died, the audience was stunned to silence. And I blurted out, Shit! LOL Chris and Irene almost died laughing. Anyway, was pretty upset by that turn of events. Pretty sure that Coulson lives and Fury lies!!!

A lot of people were bummed there was no Coulson snail, so this is for them. I had originally wanted to make him with the Snailvengers set, but I wasn’t quite sure how to make it look like he was wearing a suit. So I took a little while and planned it out, and I think I managed it? I hope so.

One: since it's impossible to tell with a generic style like this, the top panel is supposed to be Peter. Who is a total Cap (and Iron Man) fanboy in the comics. Which kinda makes me feel torn about the superfamily thing because on the one hand it's super cute, but otoh I sometimes get the urge to ship him with his "dads" thanks to the comics canon and yeah that treads into straaaange awkward territory

Two: nothing can convince me that Coulson doesn't have a Captain America body pillow. In fact I bet he has a NSFW version he made himself that he keeps in his bed at home. For reasons. I relate to Coulson so much oh god. ~~Also why aren't there actual Avengers body pillows yet somebody should get on that please I need them I'm so lonely~~

Three: Tony is also quite the Cap fanboy in the comics. And that's putting it lightly. IF AVENGERS 2 DOESN'T TOUCH ON THIS I'LL _{be okay with that because it's a different spin on the series and sorta lives in its own unique canon~ Though their relationship is kind of crucial so idk good luck with that Joss}

Phil!!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Agent Phil Coulson is my favorite avenger. And yes, he is an avenger, and no one will ever convince me otherwise. I'm sort of ridiculous, in that every time Phil makes an appearance in a scene I do a sort of excited squee of "Phil!" and have this little hand dance that I do. Megil claims that my love of Phil makes total sense because he is the character that I am most like, which is totally true. Soooo anyway! Coulson Lives! and is BAMF, plus Clark Gregg is adorable. Okay, my scanner AND my Image Manipulation Program are gone but...

Here is Super Hero Squad Coulson! This took four attempts (which means several nights of work) and watching A LOT of SHS (I don't mind, I love the show) and I'm actually rather proud of it. It's still in the SHS style, still is obviously Coulson, and it looks good.

Originally he was holding Loki's Scepter (It was that or a bag of flour) but my brother reminded me that he had the Destroyer gun...

Anyway, now off to write tragic fanfics involving PTSD, mind control, dealing with a living world when Coulson is undead and part Jotun.....

In May, I went to Dallas Comic-Con 2012, dressed in my improved Loki costume based off the film Thor (2011). Strangely, I ended up receiving some minor fame afterward when I went online, still in costume, to discuss (and how to resolve) of the major disorganization problems of the convention on YouTube, where I ended up on the local news and, accordingly, CNN as well. Weird. It was later announced that these changes will take shape in the upcoming convention, Fan Days, this following October.

I found inspiration in a very adorable avengers head canon by Scifigrl47;

"Thor misses the warrior culture of Asgard on occasion. He loves Midgard, he loves the Avengers, he loves Jane, he loves his life here, but dang, sometimes he misses the Warriors Three and Sif and smashing stuff and having a real scuffle of WARRIOR KIND!

So he forces everyone to play Trivial Pursuit, because Trivial Pursuit is a full-contact sport with this group.

Basically, Tony and Bruce rock it on the science questions, Tony also has a wide range of musical interests, and Bruce loves to read. Natasha has a depth of knowledge on literature and geography and history. She also knows the basics of just about every sport (it makes things easy to flirt with certain men if you can quote baseball or football facts). Clint knows just about everything pop culture and entertainment and loves sports and history. Steve had to cram on modern history, he knows everything about art, and hes a frickin walking encyclopedia on the history of war and the military.

Thor is utterly incapable of answering most of the questions, but he thinks really, really hard about each one.

Coulson can beat the whole team if given the chance, and Tony lost it at a certain point and just went on Ebay and bought every set of trivia cards he could find. And heres the thing about Tony Stark: if he says every single one, hes not kidding around. Did you know there are more than fifty different trivial pursuit sets? You do know. So does Tony.

So they gather and sometimes they break into teams and sometimes they all team up on Coulson and argue about rules because Clint will bounce between roll again spaces forever if they let him, and Natasha tries to use loaded dice sometimes and Coulson answers questions without looking up from his crossword puzzle and Steve was horribly insulted when he was told he was wrong about the score of a baseball game he was actually present at. Tony mixes all the sets together because Bruces memory is phenomenal and if hes told the answer once, hell never get that question wrong again, and that worked out poorly because as it turns out? Natasha cannot be beaten on Star Wars trivia, and no one knows why.

So Thor loves Trivial Pursuit because it is loud and boisterous and full of fascinating information about the world he now lives in, and about his friends, too. And also because of that one time that Clint and Tony were screaming at each other who the bad guy was in Rocky 3, and Steve mentioned he didnt remember those films, and everyone tried to do interpretive reinactments of the first Rocky.

UPDATE: While I created Derpy initially on Liberty, I've copied her to Beta and will be playing her there instead for the foreseeable future. ~EsperDerek created 'Agent Rarity,' a Dual Pistols/Martial Combat Blaster, there based on our recasting of Rarity as Black Widow, and we're playing through the new I24 content that will now almost certainly never make it to the live servers.

Last year, when I21 and Freedom launched, I bought Beam Rifle as one of my first purchases from the Paragon Market. I created a Beam Rifle/Time Manipulation character on Exalted... then my VIP subscription lapsed due to financial issues, locking me out of Exalted, and I never had the slots available to do another beam rifle character - even when I had open slots, I had other things I wanted to use them on.

Now that the sun is setting on City of Heroes, I wanted to actually explore the Beam Rifle set some before the doors close forever. So, inspired by ~Kenichi-Shinigami's My Little Avengers (but not completely following his continuity - I've never really agreed with the casting of Rarity as Iron Man and Twilight as Black Widow, thinking that Twilight fits the Tony Stark role much better), here's my mash-up of Derpy Hooves with Agent Phil Coulson, wielding 'Coulson's Revenge' AKA the Destroyer Rifle. I don't know if this is the direction that he wants to take with either Derpy or Coulson, but it's how I see it.

In-game bio:
"Her first name is Agent." - Twilight Starkle, AKA Iron Mare

Derpy Coulson, Agent of N.E.I.G.H.S. (National Equestrian Intelligence Group of High Security). Just an ordinary mare, working for Celestia's government. Maybe a little clumsy at times, but her heart is in the right place. A Captain Equestria fanfilly. Doesn't really get along with Iron Mare; says Twilight Starkle 'never tells her anything.' Rainbow Thor finds her alternately endearing and annoying. Shining Fury just thinks she's a good, solid agent, one of his best.

Phil getting some new Captain America cards that he bought off eBay!

And heres the backstory on how Phil got his Pokemon.

When Phil saw Captain America for the first time as a child and became absolutely captivated by the hero, there was one thing that he knew he had to do: get his own Growlithe. The majority of young Phils free-time (were talking when he was about 8 years old here) was spent hunting for a Growlithe. For two years he searched, riding his bicycle to any patch of wilderness he could find, even on vacation, until finally he found one that just happened to be roaming nearby his house.

The confrontation was not the most glorious moment of Phils life as it mainly consisted of him chasing down the Growlithe while screaming at the top of his lungs that yes! He finally found him and now he was his! After an impromptu wrestling match on the floor though followed by a singed shirt and burnt off eyebrow, Phil caught Growlithe with a Pokeball.

Though not exactly on friendly terms at first due to Phils method of catching Growlithe, they quickly became friends when Phil started telling him about Captain Americas own amazing, buttkicking Growlithe that fought alongside him during WWII where they kicked lots of Nazi butt. After that, both SHIELD agent to-be and fiery dog became die-hard Captain America fans..

Gallade, meanwhile, never really understood the love they had for the American hero. Theyd never met the man and he never saved their lives, so why worship him? In Gallades honest opinion, if there were any real heroes around, it was Phil and Growlithe themselves, who had rescued Gallade when he was still a Ralts from a group of vicious Pokemon trainers intent on tormenting him to death. But he supposed it didnt really matter all that much, because if they were happy collecting strange pieces of paper and other trinkets with the Captain and his Pokemons faces plastered all over them, then they could damn well do it. They certainly deserved all the happiness in the world.
