hey look it's THE BIGGEST ART DUMP OF SHAMELESS SHIPPING OF DAVE/JADE OF ALL TIME.

Well, maybe not of all time. But it's pretty damn big. The sheer file size made my photoshop lag like crazy. It took me forty minutes just to move pictures around and crop the image, man!

It also did some funky resizing crap but I don't really care about it. When I zoomed in on the actual pixels I couldn't even locate my lines.

I wanted to make him say "this is so blatantly illegal," but I realized the reason why I was thinking of that was because I was thinking about lexxy's amazing happy 4/13 picture and dave said that line. Can't go ripping off other amazing artists!

I guess hopyshit is somewhat dave-esque. Or would he drop the f-bomb instead? I usually only see him say that with "ohmyfuckinggod." BAH, who am I to try and write dialogue for these wonderful characters.

3. Dave; One arm hugs, but its more of a shoulder bump than a hug. If its a cheer up hug, he will hug around your middle and lift you up for a bit then set you back down.
4. Jade; Throws herself at you. Sticks her arms up under your armpits and rests her hands on your shoulders/upper arm.

I love this headcanon oh my gawd.

I doodled this while at Disneyland yesterday in various lines. Finished it while waiting for Indy, which broke down anyway. :C

But yeah, considering the lack of reference, I feel this came out very nice, so, here dA, you can have it and enjoy it.

*HugglesCheetah showed me this book called Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. A couple days later I bought the book and then we both finished it together in a matter of days. While reading, we found SOOOOO many subtle references to Homestuck (in our opinions) that we decided to do a fan rendition using Dave Strider and Jade Harley.

If you like subtle romance comedies, you should definitely read this book. It's amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it. :3

What Dave is singing is All I Want For Christmas Is You as sung by Michael Bublé. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs, sung by one of my favorite contemporary male singers, ~~and if I was Jade, I would just LOVE to hear Dave sing it to me~~. XD (Maybe my boyfriend'll sing it to me sometime.)
