I'm sure there's just mad casting speculation right now for the Catching Fire movie, but please note that this portrait is done from imagination and based on nobody in particular. Just what I pictured in my head when I read the book! It's okay if you imagined someone else. I know he's probably supposed to be a bit more tan.

So I decided to group these together as they are a series of drawings I did rather quickly. Each one is not finished and slightly disproportional but I'll probably not go back to them. Will most likely be moved to scraps eventually.

Sometimes I like to just draw random poses that I wouldn't necessarily use in parts from the books.

Anyway, I used Finnick and Annie as my puppets to mess around with poses.

D'awwww... Probably THE cutest couple out of the entire Hunger Games series. Probably the purest love out of the entire book Mockingjay. In my opinion anyway.

Drawn from scratch, no references. I did some redoing of Finnick's hair and facial features, so this is a more accurate depiction of him in my mind than the previous drawing I've done. Overlaid with watercolor found here: [link]

Yet another Hunger Games fanart.

ok. LAST TIME I draw something set in 13. That awful AWFUL place where everything is grey and everything has NO CHARACTER and there's NOTHING that has no functionality.
It's been hell to draw, I kept adding things (like I usually do) in the room and then I realized that in a compartment in 13 there wouldn't be such thing.

Next Time I'll draw these two on the shore. Were they should be.

Here is how i saw Mr. Odair in my head.

Oh finnick!!! You charming, hilarious, awesome, devil you!!!!!! finnick was such an awesome character. I loved his relationship with Johanna, Id love to be a fly on the wall during one of their conversations!! I liked that when we got to the end of Catching Fire and throughout Mockingjay, Finnick had totally evolved as a character! I liked him from the moment we met him, but i thought that he was going to end up being a big ol' jerk. I WAS WRONG!! FINNICK ODAIR IS AWESOME!!!!

I apologize for the running-to-the-other-person-dramatically-while-sweeping-music-plays panels, I honestly couldn't figure out how to communicate how Annie and Finnick ended up hugging otherwise.
I really don't know if I like this at all. It was good character design and pacing practice, but I'm not really sure about the end result. Obviously I altered a few details, just to make it flow more as a single storyline, but I think it worked okay. Anyway, I decided to post it just to see what other people thought. All comments are welcome!

"Sure he can sit here. We're old friends," says Johanna, patting the space beside her. The guards nod and Peeta takes a seat. "Peeta and I had adjoining cells in the Capitol. We're very familiar with each other's screams."
Annie, who's on Johanna's other side, does that thing where she covers her ears and exits reality. Finnick shoots Johanna an angry look as his arm encircles Annie.

Annie & Finnick. I still adore this couple (always had, always will). They're the sweetest and cutest love birds I've ever read about (and I've read a lot of romance novels, and Annie & Finnick's love trumps all of them).
They're indivisible.

I do not own Annie Cresta or Finnick Odair. Both characters belong to the great and talented writer: Suzanne Collins, and her series: The Hunger Games trilogy.

Finnick won the 65th Hunger Games at the age of 14, where he was mentored by previous District 4 victor, Mags. During the 65th Hunger Games he was given a trident, which was probably the most expensive gift ever given in the Games. The trident was a weapon which he wielded with proficiency and with the help of a net he wove by hand from some vines he found in the arena, he managed to trap his opponents in his net and then slay them with his trident.

Hello, this is Finnick Odair from Hunger Games saga by Suzanne Collins.
It's my entry for the contest of :

Finnick is the most inspiring character from HG for me because, at the beginning, we think that he is always trying to pick up girls because he like, love it.
But in "Mockingjay" we know why he do this : because of Snow.
In fact, he's handled, and he's sensible, delicate, and he loves Annie.
His death, I think, was useless, we didn't need this. And at the end, we learn that he has a baby...

Finnick and Annie: Half dead (SPOILERS)

So, I was depressed so much latest days (because of Finnick, actually) and I drew this. I just can't.

Everyone knows that Annie was mental. And I wanted to show you her depression after Finnick's death (). I don't think she could've raised their son, because she was weak, disturbed and she missed Finnick. Annie couldn't put herself back together after he's gone, I think. It was too hard for her. He was the only person in the world she felt safe with, and now when he died, I'm certain that she couldn't live on without him by her side. So she heard his voice inside her mind, she saw his face and green sea eyes everywhere and she gone mad even more.

Their story is so tragic... I don't think I've heard about more tragic love story ever. She's mad, he's forced into prostitution to save her, he loves her no matter what, he's with her, she needs him the most, and then HE'S GONE. HE DIES. HE'S NOT WITH HER ANYMORE.

God.

I pictured Finn more like a mix of Kellan Lutz and Zac Efron, I am not really embracing Sam Clafin-nick -_- he's so ... idk not Finnicky he's cute but that body - ugh it looks like Sam has been eating a few too many sugar cubes. But he is a great actor so I'll cut him some slack and maybe he'll win me over Sorry didn't mean to bash Sam

Well, okay, here's an explanation for this one (actually, maybe a headcanon...?):

When Finnick had to go to the Capitol, because his 'clients' wanted him there and now, Annie always begged him to stay. She knew he couldn't do this, at first she didn't know why, but then, when he told her about a deal he was making with Snow, she understood, even though it was very painful for her. Everytime Finnick had to go to the Capitol, she was saying just one word: 'Stay.' and it was tearing him apart.

~Hikarihayashi fixed the lineart on Annie. (Look at how sophisticated her shadowing is compared to mine! xD)

Well, I suppose I might try digital colouring this after assessments but it's such a pain having to paint on top of the lineart layer. We'll see C:

Now I'm in a big, big, big depression, because I read the best Finnick and Annie story ever written and this is too much for me.

First, I apologize for the delay!
As you may have noticed, Saturdays and Sundays I do not usually connect to Deviant, for work. But now I have some extra problems because we have been without Internet at home. T.T
Luckily, my school is still open, so I've been and, from there, I can submit some drawings that were pending ...
