**Based on how they were described in the book**
I chose Cicely Tyson for Mags (since she's rumored to be a front runner for that role), and Sam Claflin for Finnick (since he too, is rumored to have been cast in this role). If you use it credit me..
I downloaded a blank Capitol ID pass [link] and added all the information/ district seal myself using a primitive paint program.

I did not picture Mags as black when I read the book, but when I found out Cicely Tyson was being considered for the role I was excited, because she is an AMAZING actress, and she'll be believable and sweet and make us all cry in the theaters. Mags' race was never described in the book so they'd be staying true to the writing. Mags is one of my favorite characters in the trilogy and what she did for Annie was noble.

As for Sam Claflin.. I'd wanted Garrett Hedlund or maybe even Grant Gustin, But in the end Sam is a good choice. He's the right age to play Finnick, and he's attractive with a nice body. plus he's a decent actor.. so I'm sure we won't be disappointed by his performance in this role
I cannot wait to see Finnick on the big screen! He's my favorite tribute of all time, I mean he has a trident. How can you compete with that?

***EDIT*** Mags has been cast! She is some typical old woman, and that is how I pictured her, but it would have been cool to have had Cicely.

My interpretation of Garrett Hedlund as Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games trilogy. I really do hope they end up casting him. I think he would fit the role perfectly.

I did another copy with the eyes colored sea green with prismacolor pencils, just because I remember the description of his eyes being really beautiful in the book. I'll upload that to scraps as soon as I figure out how...

So, this is my third submission I've done for the Hunger Games. Now as some of you may know, Finnick Odair is one of THE MOST anticipated and talked about as far as casting goes for the film series. When I was reading the book, I couldn't help but picture someone with a physic like Daniel Cudmore as Finnick. He's got the wide shoulders, is tall, the only thing he might have to do is tone up a bit, grow out his hair, dye it and wear contacts, but that was just my opinion. Alas curiosity for who was going to be casted ate at me until I did some research on the matter and to my knowledge they haven't casted anyone for the role yet. But I found that many fans preferred, Armie Hammer, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Williams and Matt Lanter for the role. I will probably be doing several Finnick's, but this one here is Matt Lanter, mostly because I thought the pose fit PERFECTLY and I just simply couldn't pass it up. This one so far has taken me the longest, almost a full 8 hours I believe. The ONLY reason why it took me so long, is because of the Catching Fire logo. I made it from scratch where as the others, I took them from an official Hunger Games movie poster (all credit for that goes to the rightful owners). But anyway, I edited the hair, the jacket and his undershirt, created the Catching Fire logo, and typed the slogan and used a 3D spotlight effect on both sets of fonts. As always, I used Photoshop CS5. Please feel free to leave a comment, or if you REALLY love it, add it to your favorites! I'm STARVING for feedback on my work, because I want to know if it's good to the audience or not. And PLEASE if you use the logo, message me and ASK permission and ADD a LINK to the photo from which it came from.
