It currently includes implementations of the basic Gnome icon set and the Gnome-Colors icon sets, rounded out with various pieces of artwork created by myself and others. Additionally, it includes a Reloader module to re-modify your files if they are overwritten, allowing system updates to be performed without breaking the theme.

Now that Azel is finaly completed and released, i managed to update imetal too ... There is only one theme now, if you want to use globalmenu with it , just open the gtkrc file found inside the theme folder and change the line (it's near the end) :
include "Tweaks/tweaks.rc"
to
include "Tweaks/globalmenu-tweaks.rc"
and reload the theme.

Description :
This is an addon to the already released imetal port for windows by mrrste .

Original imetal theme for OSX created by Andyblac.

The theme also works with the globalmenu gtk hack that simulates the top panel menu functionality of macos. You can read more about it here.

Included in this pack are : the gtk theme, 2 metacity themes , skins for firefox 2 (i won't do a skin for firefox 3, there are many macish skins for it already out there), an emerald decorator, and a skin for mplayer.
In order to open the archive successfully , change the suffix from gz to tar.gz .

The dock on the bottom is avant window navigator,the best dock for gnome IMO. If you want to try it, i highly recommend you to get the bzr version as it's allot better then the old one posted on the project page.

The file manager is Thunar and you can probably get it from your distro's repository.

This is my first skin for gnome so plz be gentle .

Finally, i'm glad to present the first stable release of this pack. A lot of job were done since the first release and I hope that you people have been enjoying this theme

This is a project that provides an automatic configuration of your GNOME desktop just in one click, with the backup and restoring support.
The main goal of this projects is to create the most complete dark theme for the GNOME desktop with easy installation experience.

The pack contains the following stuff :
- GUI utility to configure your desktop
- Icon theme: Elegant-AwOken based on the AwOken icon set by alecive
- GTK+ theme: Elegant GTK theme v 4.0
- Cursor Theme: Neutral++ by ducakar
- Wallpaper: gDIGE by *Muscarr
- Keyboard layout indicator flags (296 total)
- Firefox theme
- Google Chrome theme by Jorge Carrillo
- Google Chrome scrollbar extension
- Smplayer theme
- Pidgin buddy list theme

You must have this stuff installed on your system before you'll start:
- Murrine GTK engine 0.98.0 or higher
- Droid Sans Font
- Nautilus-Elementary (optional)

Ubuntu Lucid/Maverick and Linux Mint 9 installation instructions:

1. Install Elegant GNOME:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elegant-gnome/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
a)sudo apt-get install elegant-gnome
or
b)sudo apt-get install elegant-gnome-mint
2. Go to "Applications -> Accessories -> Elegant GNOME"
1. Install Nautilus Elementary: (optional)

4. Run the command "sudo make install"
5. Go to "Applications -> Accessories -> Elegant GNOME"
6. Optional step. If you use the Nautilus Elementary:
a) Go to Applications -> Accessories -> Elegant GNOME
b) Choose "Configure Nautilus"
c) Select "Nautilus Elementary"

To remove the pack: (installed from sources)
1. Open the terminal and cd to the extracted directory.
2. Run the command "sudo make uninstall"

To install the Google Chrome theme:
1. Download and extract the "Google Chrome" archive
2. Drag and drop the *.crx files into the Google Chrome window.

Please avoid a manual install and use the GNOME Tweak Tool, it's much easier.

You can use the gnome-shell theme extension for easier switching of themes.

GNOME Tweak Tool

Make sure you have user-theme-extension installed. Load the GNOME Tweak Tool and go to Shell Extensions and click the "Use Theme Extension" switch. Now go to "Theme" and click the Shell Theme box and locate your theme zip. Now you can select the theme in the dropdown box. Make sure you selection the right version for the GNOME version you have, otherwise the theme will not show properly.

If you run GNOME 3.4, just extract the 3.4 version to ~/.themes

I made this theme a long time ago now, and alot of people have requested it since i started using it.

An important note: This is released under GPLv2, just as the original icons are, and just as the GNOME Severe Weather set is. Since these really are derivative works, I can't do much about changing the licensing unless specific permission is given from jimmac/dobey/others, but I don't think it will be an issue here.

An important note: This is released under GPLv2, just as the original icons are, and just as the GNOME Severe Weather set is. Since these really are derivative works, I can't do much about changing the licensing unless specific permission is given from jimmac/dobey/others, but I don't think it will be an issue here.

This is a tray icon theme I'm working on. I want to all tray icons have the same width and height. Any suggestions? Comments? They're all welcome.

To install the icon theme, you just need to extract the content to the next folder:

/home/(your username)/.icons

And that's it!

This is a tray icon theme I'm working on. I want to all tray icons have the same width and height. Any suggestions? Comments? They're all welcome.

To install the icon theme, you just need to extract the content to the next folder:
