Or, at least what I think my body looks like (minus the tail and anthro features) if I'm being a little more honest towards myself and not exaggerating it to look even more horrid than it is.
Because I'm not very content with my body. I've always been terribly ashamed of my belly, for instance. And I totally lack the self discipline to do anything about it; I've tried, but so far not much has worked because I give up too fast.

But I find it a little sad how I feel the need to be skinny to be able to feel good about myself...
I blame the media lol
but anyways, in a stupid way I guess I posted this to hear what you guys think? Of this, and of curvy ladies?

Male Bust and Height Chart

Since I made one for the girls, I figured I aught to be fair to create a chart for the guys as well. Still, even though it's the 'guy' chart, a few "gals" managed to find their way on here anyway. It's pretty silly. You should probably not take anything on this chart seriously, as it's pretty much entirely for fun and nothing else.

A few sizes have been adjusted since the last time (you might notice that Natani is a few inches taller here than in the previous chart). The reason for this is that I'm trying to make the characters more distinctive. The wolves are much larger all around than either Mike or Evals, something that's often hard to tell unless they're standing right next to each other. You can also see how Fem Mike is quite a bit different in proportion to his usual male self. And If you set Keith and Natani side-by-side, you can see just how small Basitin typically are. Natani's practically an Amazon compared to him.

There's a few Keidran and Basitin missing on this chart obviously. I simply couldn't fit all the characters in there (without making it ungodly wide), so I might make a second one given enough time. Sythe, Euchre, etc will be on there. As for humans... perhaps I could put them on the second chart too, but honestly, I'm not sure how I can do it without given them clothing to cover their modesty. Maybe I'll put them all in funny boxers. Actually, that's a pretty good idea... okay, I'm rambling now. Enjoy the chart!

(The colors are completely random, if you're wondering. Just thought they looked nice Looking back, maybe I shouldn't have made Natani pink. That wasn't a conscious choice, honestly. I only shifted the colors based on the last color used, to make it sufficiently different, and that last one happened to be blue, so the next ended up pink. I'm not trying to imply anything with that, but I can see how it could be construed as such. I don't mean any offense, in any case. Pink is manly!)

*Pardon my inability to do what I am supposed to be doing. This pulled me out of the art block I had. Things should progress as planned from now on.*

Even though I apologized for not getting things done, I'm not sorry for this. Not at all. Is it the bestest most wonderfull thing ever? No. But for me, it's good enough. For now. I was in the middle of a really nasty art-block. The kind that sort of drains your soul a little. I just couldn't manage to complete anything. So I went back and found an old sketch. It turned into this. It was more of a technical piece than anything else. Trying new things and experimenting with others.

I want to take a sec to thank you all for your *massively* supportive comments. It really did help just to talk about it.

I especially want to thank and for their notes.

By the way, is new around here and hasn't been recognized nearly as much as she deserves. Do yourself a favor and go check her out.

Species Information:
Jinnar

Homeworld: Jinnar Minor
The world is less a planet than it is a liveship. It's been in orbit around Wegon for so long that no one remembers it not being there. It's technically classified as a moon now, and is about the size of Jupiter's moon Callisto. It has it's own atmosphere, climates ranging from snowy poles to tropics around the middle, and it's own weather system. It once looked like a ship, but it's been "planetized" and the casual observer would never know the difference.

Size: 5'5"- 6'10"

Intelligence: Roughly human equivalent.
The current Jinnar population is composed of the descendants of Jinnar Major's (planet was demolished tens of thousands of years ago) best and brightest. Of course, having great ancestors doesn't guarantee a great population. There are some who fall short of their genetic precursors, but on whole, they tend to be very bright and fast learners.

Language: Hassan (though they are learning other languages very quickly)
Hassan has certain structure and sound reminiscent of Swahili. None of the words are even a close translation, though. One should not be mistaken for the other. They also have a wide range of other sounds, from chirps to growls, and even a low pitched slow purr when they're happy. Sometimes the noises are involuntary. They are used most often to describe an individual's mood and emotion.

Lifespan: No one is sure.
They have been a very closed species (only one has ever left Jinnar Minor), until recently.

Temperament :
Of course, all individuals are different. But in general, the Jinnar are friendly, intelligent, and sensitive. As a whole, they tend to be introverted and shy. They will not often start a conversation and have to be asked for their opinion, but they are more than happy to finish a conversation and explain their point of view at length once they are comfortable. Many have not had a lot of experience with other species. This doesn't make them hesitant or scared, but rather afraid they will make fools of themselves. Approaching a Jinnar as a friend, even though they are a stranger, will make things easier for everyone. The have a strict policy of seeing everyone as a friend until proven otherwise. They just want to get along and be happy, and want everyone else to have these things, too.

Social Structure
They are tribal by nature and each tribe tends to center around a mating pair. At any time, there are between 18-30 pairs on the planet who produce young. A pair will have between 50-80 babies. Their genetic structures randomizes sufficiently to avoid inbreeding. Only the first four are raised by their birth parents. The rest are sent off and adopted in all the other tribes. Their definition of family has less to do with genetics and more to do with trust, respect, and living proximity. (It's more complicated than that, but there isn't time and space to describe it here.)

History:
At the height of the Terrian Empire (>100,000 years ago), the Jinnar, then on Jinnar Major and other small planets, were the only known civilization in the galaxy capable of holding their own against the Terrians. Both races decided a distance and peace treaty would better suit their needs. The majority of the Jinnar, those living on Jinnar Major, were killed when their planet was destroyed by the inhabitants of Jinnar Minor. It was a result of some internal conflict. The details are buried in history. What little we do know indicates that the scientists, philosophers, and greatest minds of their time were put onto Jinnar Minor as a punishment for some sort of civil crime (details unknown). The explosion that took down the planet was caused by a small guided missile hitting a larger system of nuclear stockpiles. In essence, their own weapons, brightest minds, and laws were their demise.

The Jinnar we know today, the last of their people, traveled through the galaxy and came to rest in orbit around the planet that would later be known as Wegon. They then activated the inner systems of Jinnar Minor and, to make a long process short, terraformed the outside of their giant ship with the contents of the center. By the time the Terrian ancestors of the Slee-Sha and the Isepians came to the planet system, the transformation was already complete.

They are considered a post-tech species. That means they already went through a technological renaissance and decided to go back to a much earlier technological state. They no longer use computers except when they need to access the inner workings of the liveship. There are even some inhabited places without electricity. When asked why they live this way, when they could clearly have more, they've said: "We didn't like the people we were when we had all of that. We were rude, disconnected, apathetic, and lacked compassion for one another. Sure, our lives were easier, but we were no longer proud of ourselves. We're happier, and better, this way."

In the very recent past there was a cataclysmic failure in the liveship power core that cause large chain-linked eruptions on the surface. It was estimated that one in 15 Jinnar died. The ship is stable for now, but the entire population plans to move to Jinnar station once it is completed.

I felt inspired today when I looked through =fighter-jet 's gallery. I loved how he/she (sorry, I don't know) used grains and textures and stuff on some of his/her drawing, plus the gray/sepia ish tones. I just wanted to try something similar..

The quote is from the song "Nutshell" by Alice In Chains. I wanted to use the "people cry because they've been strong for too long" thingy, but it just felt too cheesy..
But the quote from Nutshell was just perfect, in my opinion. It fits so much to the situation Spike is in when this scene takes place.

A note to commissioners! My work for commissioners comes first, which Toucat understands. This comic will not interfere with my commission work. I mentioned on twitter ( [link] ) I was drawin’ for kicks today and this image is the result!

Clover and her sister Petal off on an adventure! Clover has been featured in my galleries on FA and DA a few times before.

I always really liked her and came up with a story centered around her. I’d love to work on this after Peaches & Cream’s major story arcs have run.

Clover is pretty much the person that you know that always manages to get you to go out and do stuff you’d never expect yourself to do.

Petal is the person that patches up everyone after they get themselves all scraped up. < X D

Yep. This was originally just going to be my character Giovanni with the 'Apple of Eden' but then I was challenged to draw Ezio aaaaaand this happened.
I couldn't be bothered to draw Ezio as a human being so I just slapped his robes on a cat and kind of tried a lazy effort to make it 'look' like him I guess.

Giovanni and the 'Cantalope of Power' and Ezio with the 'Dinner plate of Destiny' and both of them defy gravity!
Hey, compared to their size (if we're going relative I guess) the sizes fit, I think...? They're meant to be actual 'cat' size more or less.

Giovanni really has nothing to do with the 'Assassin's Creed' universe but rather 'Puss in Boots' however since he's meant to be an assassin/thief character he often gets mistaken as 'Ezio cat' :I

AC symbol brushes are not mine (I'm still looking for them) and neither are the other Archaic symbol brushes for the BG.
Oddly enough that 'Apple' was fun to colour... it glows like a mofo firefly.

Well, I did all this for a commission only to have the person drop it (it was for a decent reason, but still, was a bummer not to be able to finish this, haha!).
Some may remember the updates from Tumblr but others may not.

Basically the idea here is there's a father trying to protect his son from being involved with some dark business (notice the creepy gypsy with gnarly teeth; that's the 'bad guy' here. The other one is the father character).

This would originally have been a faux-screen shot type deal but since it's going to be unfinished... I'n uploading what I have.
Why not? I did the work and my dA gallery is already filling up with commissions so I'll add this in there.

Lillith is, as decided earlier, going to be a part of the "SPIKE" story, and since the story takes place in the mid- to late 80's, I figured Lillith needed a little make-over, style-wise...
I've tried mixing the punk and rock n roll style a bit, but it's looking more punk at the moment. I think the punk genre fits her, although she's more of a Grunge type girl (or "just a rocker" as she would say).

I really do suck at titles
but anyways... I drew this today. It was gonna be a speedpaint, but the program I used wouldn't let me record for more than 10 minutes, to that was crap... Instead, I finished it on livestream. Ended up fiddling too much with the colors, but I hope I managed to make it look somewhat good after all

yup, I've decided that Zee (pink haired Samojed) and Carmen (red haired Bull Terrier) are best friends. They seem like such a perfect match, since they're so different.
Carmen is very shy and a little quiet, at least towards strangers. Zee is the opposite, and she has as vibrant a personality as the colors she wears.
Carmen was bullied all her life and being called ugly.. Zee helped Carmen slowly start gaining more trust in people, have more self confidence, and gave her a little make-over (basically just convincing Carmen to follow her own style and not hide in oversized, baggy clothes).
When Zee and Carmen are together, Carmen forgets to be shy, and she and Zee have a lot of fun, laughing and joking and just having a great time. Carmen admires Zee for being so confident and optimistic, and Zee likes Carmen because she's discovered Carmen has a great and fun personality, and they're both nerds

so, yup... That's pretty much what I have so far.

More old artwork (this one from October of last year)

This is an older piece that I did some experimenting on with fur textures and lighting to get a certain look and mood. I also wanted to try something purely gray scale (adding some faint colour filters later on).
I remember looking to create a cold and distant feeling between father and son, as if this portrait were more obligatory than invited.

_{**Anthros, although fun, always seem to give me trouble when it comes to mixing human and animal anatomy comfortably. It's easier when you can do it cartoony where you can warp and mess with anatomy, but when it comes to trying to accomplish realism it can be tricky to do. At least for me... There's a ton of brilliant artists out there than do fantastic work with anthropomorphic creatures, haha! I'm just not one of them... my forte is more with four footed animals, I guess?
Ah well, this one was fun. I learned quite a bit that helped with some commissioned work later on afterward.}

So a long while back, I had a sorta Unico Fan Character I had named Plin.

I always really liked Plin, but didn't want to have the character just be girly-boy Unico in anthro form.

So over the past couple of months on break here and there I started messing with his design till I felt I had something that separated him from the old design while still letting him stay close to the vibe he used to have.

So now I have this new version. Plin is a sort of weird magical animal. The offspring of a panda and a unicorn its hard to tell what to call him. A pandacorn I guess? < X D

Anywho, also new to his design is that he can choose to be whatever gender he wants. In the version we have here he's picked a sort of neutral gender form. So nothing going on there up top or downstairs. < X D

He can choose to be a guy or girl at will, but has a hard time combining those ideas. Maybe he's still gotta learn more o' them magics~

Anywho, just thought I'd post this piece since I had it fairly ready. Enjoy~!
