Somethin about rainbows and fruits :B Pencil figures, each one comes with its own(extremely) mini memo pad , the backs of them are painted brown like cardboard. Theyre all for sale. $14 each coz they were REALLY hard to make coz of their shape. Spraying them was a a pain it was very involved..lots of moving papers around...ugh nevermind heh. Fruits Basket Zodiac stones

Ever since I watched Fruits Basket, I've wanted to make the little zodiac stones that Shigure made in the beginning of the series. So I did. They aren't painted stones like Shigure's though. They're little clay half-spheres. I made the 12 original zodiac animals exactly like the ones in the anime. In the manga, Tohru makes a Kyo figure to go w/Shigure's figures, so I made the Kyo figure from the pic in the manga.
I also made these because my friends and I cosplayed Fruits Basket at this year's MTAC 6th Period. Our Tohru carried them around in her basket, along with the zodiac animal figures that I made (which I will also be posting).

All of them are made with Crayola Model Magic clay. This is definitely the best clay for mixing to get the right color.

bleh the 's' wouldn't fit into the title XD;;;;

anyhoo yesterday i had a sculpture days and i made these and a few other ones :3

kyo in kitty form from fruits basket, momiji with lollipop from fruits basket too, and kon from bleach xD i dont like his eyes x__X

i'm trying to learn how to paint the sculptures, this is the second time making kyo and momiji, the first time i painted then was so... crap x____X so these ones came out a lot better XD

i made a kyo one for my friend and have one extra one xD thinking of maybe selling it if anyone is interested

made with sculpey clay and painted with acrylics then glazed with sculpey glaze
each figurine stands about 2cm-2.5cm (still less then an inch but bigger then my first ones)

Tiny Polymer Clay Food Round 2

Here we have:
-A salad with tomato, radish, carrots, lettuce, a little of that purple stuff you get in salads, and crutons
-pasta alfredo with parsley and garlic bread
-fruit salad with watermelon, honeydew, cantelope, and grapes
-A shake-n-bake chicken dinner with mashed potatos + gravy and peas
-a plate of cheese fries! (my favorite)

All made with polymer clay (scupley III)

Fruits Basket Zodiac figures

After making the Fruits Basket stone figures, I decided to make the zodiac animal figures. I also made all of the symbols for each character. I really like how these turned out. Most of them were pretty easy to make. They took anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to make, and about 20 minutes to paint (although I had to do several coats on some). The horse was a pain to make. Its mane and tail are composed of different little strands of clay to make it look right, which took forever to do! The sheep was hard to do too b/c every time I got the wool to look right on one side, I had accidentally pressed down the other side.
Our Tohru also carried these around in her basket at MTAC 6th Period. She told me that she got offers to buy them, which made me think about making more to sell, but I haven't had time to do so yet. I am thinking about it though.
Overall, I really like how these turned out.

Clay charms - work in progress

A more closeup shot here.

A collective shot of most of the pieces I've made during the past few weeks. They range from simple shapes to more complex things (I really enjoyed making the california rolls and shrimp sushi XD) - the most interesting thing though, is how you learn a process for each item you make. Some of them required a lot of thought... how to make a certain texture, what part to make first, what the most efficient method is. Overall, very very interesting for me. XD

They're actually glossed and everything now - photos coming soon XD

Working with clay has been a lot of fun, and it's been a wonderful outlet outside of work.

Most pieces are made with Sculpey III, the rest made with Cernit. (I usually mix the two together, for an interesting consistency.) All pieces are no bigger than 1 inch.

MORE FAKE CAKE!

I've been making all kind of goodies in preparation for KumoriCon, since I'll be vending there. These ones are not jewelry, they are full sized and just meant to be a decoration.

These cupcakes are all FAKE! This is the first time I have made full-size fake cupcakes, generally I do miniatures, check out my gallery for more: check the sweets section of my gallery to view more!

I make the little cookies and fruits on these. Some of them have a few purchased faux pearls, glitter or plastic gems on them in addition to the hand made deco.

Suppi and Kyo sculptures

huhuhu the results of last weeks sculpture day X3 i made a lot more other things, but i stuffed them up LOL i might post them in my journal later so you can all laugh x_____X i hope with practice i can fix my other ones XD

anyway Suppi( the black thing) was sort of commissioned by a friend of mine to make cause she really likes him and she says its hard to find merchandise of him so i thought i'd give it ago. these were actually first made on my second attempt at sculpting, but i thought i'd try to redo them now and they came out -SO- much better then the first attempt, especially on the ears.

Suppi is from CLAMPS work Cardcaptors, hes like kero, i didn't know who he was x___X never got that far... and yes these are the original ones that the momiji and kyo poses spawned from x3 suppi looks a lot like kyo, and after i made him i was like, 'hey i can make kyo!!!' X3

Kyo i was just experimenting with a new pose X3 this one is cute too hehee, i hope soon i will have lots of kyo figurines !!! Kyo is from Fruits Basket

these aren't glazed yet, so they aren't shiny XD will glaze them later :3

Fruit tarts

These fruit tarts are actually charms that I'm planning on using to make a bracelet of sorts. There's: Strawberry, Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Blueberry, and Pineapple. They're inspired by the bite-sized tarts that are sold at one of the local bakeries at home. I miss home.

Made with Fimo clay, colored with acrylics, glazed with Krylon Crystal Clear Glaze, and 18 guage wire.

Dimensions: approximately 1/4"

Taking a temporary break from doing 2D art, I made this.
This is my first time sculpting a human in any way shape or form... can you tell? I had no idea sculpting clothes could be so difficult... I think I'm better off making my gryphons and such. (And sorry for the lousey pics, I'm simply terrible with a camera.)
I'm gonna make him a Paopu fruit to hold sooner or later. But I'm too lazy to do it now.

(Edit: He's on hold now, but pretty much a sold piece. I'm just not sure to who yet. Thanks for your interest, everybody! It really lifts my spirits to see how many people wanted it!)

Small heart paper mache box painted and decorated with hand made fruit and cookie, as well as a store bough fake parfait.

The box is only 3.5 inches from the point of the heart to the very top, so it is pretty small for the amount of detail on it!

Small square paper mache box painted and decorated with hand made fruit and cookie, as well as a store bough fake sakura mochi.

The box is only 3 inches across, so it is pretty small for the amount of detail on it! This was given a gloss coat after I took the photo.
