About the hoodie
I havent had time to do custom orders but this idea swept me away, I love dragons AND the request wasn't constrictive. She wanted a cute dragon based off of a hoodie sketch she gave me! I had alot of room to play and be creative and those are the commissions I like to do. Plus I love Black or white commissions as I don't have to dye anything x.x
This hoodie has some cool features:

My customer asked me to design a dark fantasy costume. Plumes of black feather peak out from the tops of the corset, gloves, and thigh high boots. Creating a smoky look using black brocade on the front of the corset with crinkled silver at the sides. We added shadowy details of stenciled lace around the edges of the chiffon skirt. The whimsical cut of the hi-low skirt showcases the boots beneath.

made from 2 different boards, one black and one brown. the cloud is made from a piece of recycled plastic meant to transmit light. its qualities are similar to milk glass but just a little flexible. assembled with screws and rivets recovered from other machines. the eye is abalone shell.

Updating this product! I found some nicer fluffier material, they now come in Black and White (tuxedo) instead of black and pink. Goes together much easier with outfits and is more gender neutral.

_{They are a stylish simple cat ear, not a "100% realistic mega awsome over the top wear" nor a "Cheap headband too small look nothing like an animal's ear" hair accesory.
I was aiming for somthing in the middle, that could still be worn every-day by the enthusiastic without beeing gaudy over the top. And that could still look better then any other available cat ear pair, so it can be used in a part of a costume or cosplay.}

I haven't had the chance to resize my black lady photo's yet, i had to go through the photoshoots my bf had done for others at this year's fanime, and i'm finally done with them, and starting to look at my black lady photo's ^_^

I'm so impressed with how my bf's skills are developing, and all i did to this photo was resize so it so it's not OMG huge lol! So i'll be adding more of my favorites !

Worn again at this year's fanime, and enetered at fanime's masquerade took home judge's choice craftsmanship with my bf who made prince diamond to go with me.

Mask:

Gown made from mauve taffeta underskirt with lavender and black tulle over skirt. The bodice is a fully steel boned corset modeled after a Victorian pattern and then altered. The lace is black, embroidered French lace that was hand cut and placed and then over 1000 glass beads and sequins were sewn on by hand. Took almost two weeks of about 6-9 hours a day of beading to complete just the beading. Laces up in the back with double sided satin ribbon.

This piece is NOT for sale.

The costume my latex version of Black Cat from Spiderman. For SDCC I added an underbust corset to the costume to help hold the zipper up and for extra stability in wearing the suit for a long time and during a photoshoot where I had to climb, sit, recline and do action poses. Latex in public always makes me nervous as it is rubber that can tear O_o;.

I wasn't gonna make a costume for Halloween this year, but since I'm currently in a costuming program, I gotta strut my stuff! This is a cosplay of the Black Queen from Homestuck. The hat is made of foam, styrene, jersey and ribbon and stuff. The mask is mostly black jersey, with some minky for the cat cheeks and I'm not sure what the eyes are made of. They offer some faint visibility, so I can kind of navigate. The black shirt is custom made, with shoulder pads and a collar such that it imitates the Queen's carapaced body. The midsection is corset/bodice thing that is boned and features an elastic section at the back so I don't have to mess with busks and laces of actual corsets. The tentacles are stuffed with a length of foam and polyfil which gives it a delightful movement when swung around. They're attached to fishing wires that connect to the elbows and pinkies of the gloves. Pink lace is attached to the hem of the skirt. The rest of the costume was bought at various places.

This is my re-color of the famous Chibi Hatsune Miku papercraft by Niseke. Black Rock Shooter being my favorite fan made Vocaloid Design as with all things HUKE, I decided a papercraft template would be do-able.

This is inspired by a series of re-colored templates made by chibicraft.

It's simple to construct:
dotted lines- fold
solid outer lines- cut
Then, glue down the white flaps, pyon!

Black fine silver (it really is this black in person)

The dragon heads were made using the loss-wax method. I had help from my uncle's brilliant wax artist, who really made a difference! If you've shopped at Shiana.com, you would see the dragon clasp for sale. We made about 100 clasps, because only the big mold was available at the studio then (so we had to fit these little heads into one big tree-mold).

The chain is my first attempt at maille and is a bit messy at this state. In retrospect, I should have added gold links to highlight the chain, but black on black does look nice here.

There quite a number of things to chronicle regarding this past weekend, but I'll just focus on one of the more creative efforts. I was at Target the other day and picked up a Pikachu toy on clearance. I thought to myself, "Sure, this would look neat in my cubicle and it's only $5. Hmm... I haven't done custom paint jobs in a while..." and with that, I went on my journey to customize this Pikachu to a color scheme that was more to my liking.

FINALLY DONE.
I actually finished the jacket in January. But I did the pants today. I was debating whether or not they would be dumb, but I think they are neccessary.
I'm going to see MCR next week at the Vancouver V-fest so I did my wardrobe test today and made my mom take pictures. I think I won't wear the spooky eyes though, and I don't know if I will be allowed to wear the bullet belt? (large outdoor venue)
If you're going as well I DEMAND A HUG OR HIGH-FIVE.

Anyway, the jacket I had already but it was khaki/grey and had brass-looking buttons so I dyed it black (twice), sewed the ribbon on, painted myself an armband, added the D-rings and lacing on the back, made epaulettes, and sewed on 22 buttons. The pants I pegged and sewed ribbon onto.

I actually made this before I even knew MCR were coming, when I found out that MCR and AFI were playing Vancouver in the same weekend I got up and danced around my kitchen for 10 minutes. I sincerely hope I survive this festival, last time I saw MCR was 2 years ago and I left bleeding from the face and unable to move half of my body, and last time I saw AFI I somehow ended up sitting on the steps of an ambulance?

Though the Revenge era was by far their best, it isn't relevant now and they've been dressing a lot fancier lately.

Felt Wings .:. Black and White

These were the very first pair of felt wings that I made. <3

I made them for Halloween one year, bought a Red Bull energy drink and went as that. "Red Bull gives you wiings" hahaha. I know it's pretty lame x]

I couldn't afford feathers as big as I wanted, so I had to figure out another material I could use to make the feathers - Stiffened Felt!

They took me about 16 hours to make (partially including the time I took ripping apart and re-doing parts as I figured out how to put it together), but it was worth it! They only weigh 1 or 2 pounds and are super easy to wear and they're also posable to some extent. The wingspan is about 5 feet.

Quick info for you curious folk
~ Please don't ask me to make a tutorial...I don't have one at this time. Sorry about that. ~
BUT If you're wondering about how I made them, it's pretty basic (most effort is just putting LOTS of time into the construction)
- Stiffened felt. I buy this from crafts stores or online, pretty much wherever I can find colors I like. It comes it stiff sheets, I don't do it myself. <-- although if you can figure out how to make stiffened felt yourself then you could do some GIANT feathers! That would be awesome. I buy like 20 sheets or so for one pair of wings, at least. I always have extra but I like to be safe.
- Heavy gauge wire, like from a hardware store
- A small flat piece of wood to attach/ wrap the wire onto
- Hot glue
- Needle and thread
- Ribbon (or whatever you want for the straps)
- Some giant paper for a pattern, and some stiff paper to cut out the individual feather patterns to trace onto the felt

Please feel free to try out your own felt wing designs. I own my patterns, not the actual idea of making wings from felt

Normally i don't upload each of these ear cuffs here (only on etsy), but i wanted to show you this one, because i've finally found this beautiful gunmetal (bronze) colored atistic wire.. it was very hard to find it in both gauges i need.
I've also used black artistic wire, seed beads, and a lovely black spinel rondelle for this piece.
Though the design is not symmetrical, it look nice on both the left or right ear.

Cthulhu mask, metallic black and silver

A new (wearable!) Cthulhu mask, in metallic, glossy black with a hint of blue, with silver highlights. Hand-molded from vegetable-tanned cow leather, and hand-painted. These are done entirely free-hand, and no moulds are used.

I pushed the wet look on this one a bit further (though the photo doesn't show it well) by adding gloss varnish to the raised areas to give it a nice, wet shine. With the glossy areas, and the texture of the leather, it really looks like something alive that crawled up out of the sea!

Here it is! finally finished!

Black victorian two piece taffeta gown

It's made from 8 meters of black taffeta, 3 meters of cotton lining, 25 meters of ribbon lace, 0,5 meters of black brocade, 100 g of black beads, 3 meters of black satin ribbon and 8 pcs of little black buttons.

I took me about 20 hours to make it in total, without doing the underpinnings.

Rainbow cake with black rose

This is a commission I did for ~xXTehBlackWolfXx. Yes I know that rainbow cakes have been made ad nauseum, but this is my take on them. ~xXTehBlackWolfXx also wanted me to add a tiny black rose, I thought it was a cute idea, and it makes this a bit different from all the other rainbow cakes

If you want your own, I still have slices left to sell. They can include any frosting or topping you have in mind, so contact me if you have an idea! They're slightly bigger than my regular cakes, but a lot more time consuming -.- so they're a bit more expensive, $12 each. You can find my commission info here: [link]

Red and Black crinoline Gown

Of course it is not a period correct crinoline gown but rather another gothic interpretation

The gown is shown over my 3,20m hoop skirt, with a red satin underskirt and my "Rose Petals" overskirt I already made in 2010.
The shirt underneath is one of my elizabethan inspired ones, I will make a more fitting one as well.

The bodice is made from red cotton satin and trimmed with heavy black lace and beaded braid.

Just need a fitting hat and a photographer for pics with me wearing that gown

Lyrical Black Onyx Pendant

A nice drop shape cut black onyx, wrapped in Argentium Sterling Silver.

FAQ stuff, please read before asking:

- Yes! I do sell these! They are for sale here: [link]

-I hand wrap these pieces with nothing more than my fingers and some bitty pliers.
-I purchase the stones already cut and polished from rock and gem shows.
-My silver is purchased directly from a precious metals silver refinery.
-I use several different gauge and shaped wires in each piece.
-My methods are 100% self taught, unplanned, and haphazard and I do not plan on creating tutorials on how to make these. If you want to learn wire-wrapping there are already some good tutorials out there if you search on Google. Just please be respectful of the work and years I've invested in learning how to create my pendants and don't directly copy my work (I rely on these to pay my bills!).

Cake! I wanted to make three layered cakes, and so I decided to make red velvet and black forest. Funny because they sort of fit together, being "colorful" cakes. I didn't know what to put on top of the red velvet cake and so I put a red rose, I thought it would look delicate. My favorite is the way the frosting under the cherries came out, and the sight touch of cherry syrup in the black forest

These are sort of old, I made them 6 months ago, I'm still trying to catch up with my backlog. If you want a cake like this send me a note, this design is available for custom commissions!

Materials: Polymer clay, TLS, oil paints, blades, toothpicks, eyepins. Made more or less following my cake tutorial

Elegant Black Scrolls on Pink

This set of round beads has a base of white encased in pink that has been embellished with scrolls of intense black stringer. The scrolls have been left raised on the surface. Perfect for valentines day earrings

I posted a wip photo of these little guys about a week ago, and they're finally ready to be sold! These were tediously assembled by hand, on multiple layers of custom cut acrylic. @u@/
Even those tiny little eyes! ;u; Hahaha.
