Currently posing as my favorite knife of all time. I'll be throwing this knife to the wolves at the Arkansas Knife show in a few weeks, for the Best Giraffe Bone knife of the show. Doubt it will win, since it's all artsy and stuff. ;_;

If it does win then professional pictures of the knife with the award will be taken. If it doesn't win and I don't sell this very expensive piece, then I may have it sent off for pictures anyway. All of that is up in the air at the moment though. Even though this is one of the best knives I've ever created, I have two more in the works that have a good chance of surpassing this one by a mile or two.

He's 10 inches tall from his body up, but if you include his legs he's a foot and an inch. xD So soft and snuggly!

Crochet smart phone cases

These aren't finished yet as I still need to add the latches, but I wanted to upload them anyways. These are cases for smartphones/iPods. I only own an ipod touch currently so that is what I based the size off, but it should be fine with anything of similar size. There are felt details that I hand stitched on (yay I learned embroidery!!). The decals are as follows:

Red: hearts
Orange: giraffe face
Yellow: Lion face
Green: kappa face
Light blue: little octopus
Dark blue: penguin
Maroon: little mouse face
Dark pink: little birdie
Light pink: little whale
Light purple: cat face
Dark purple: bunny face (he looks sad D: )

These will be available at Toracon 2012. I'm not sure what to price them for yet. The Rilakuma case I bought for my own phone at Otakon last year was $20, so I was thinking $10, but I feel people may think I'm over charging. Any suggestions on price?

But yes, Giraffey is one that gives you a 10% exp boost, so he's good to have around.

I had a lot of fun making him, especially his little horns and attaching on the spots.

Holy smokes, now I'm up in the double digits. Well, here's a giraffe, done with my fancy shmancy printed origami paper, like I used for the horse/zebra. He's weirdly tilted... I can only assume he's reaching up for a particularly tasty-looking leaf. And he doesn't stand up. Okay, so this one isn't one of my best, but that's what practice is for. If I do a better one I'll post that one up instead.

Splice Panraffe is a bit of an oddity as he was a science experiment that went a little off the grid. This guy is a panda spliced with a giraffe. But the mutation turned his white hair blue.. Luckily for the public the guys is a herbivore and does not eat meat. He is the sweetest thing.

Splice Panraffe stands 16" Tall and is 20"T with his horns.. His head is 10"Wide X 6"Tall X 3"thick

His body is 10"T X 4"W at the narrowest and 7"W at it's widest. And 2" thick

His face has machine and hand sewn features

His arms, tail and horns are all poseable.

Each glass test tube is neatly labeled with one of my custom antique styled labels. Both the Latin and English names are given.
The tubes and vials display nicely in the vintage style holder. The vials have painted lids in gunmetal grey.

This is my G-raffe, It took me about a month to make. I made up the pattern myself, and he is completely hand stitched. His body is 10" long, 6" wide, 18" tall at the withers (shoulders) 24" tall from head to floor and 28" long from tail to nose.

This is an orange faux fur giraffe. He is more traditional than most of my makings, but is super cute! He stands at 10 inches tall, has safety eyes and was all hand sewn. He has felt black patches attached with embroidery thread for decoration and safety eyes, but as always, children should be supervised while playing. He is filled with poly fiber fill.

said I would make a stuffed animal this week, and I DID! Yahoo~ This guy is a giraffe, but looks more like a fluffy dinosaur hahaha Pattern is by SImplicity, and the same as the cat one! I like it cos they can be made really fast.
He's not for myself though! Some people got me lovely gifts over the holidays and I'm making giraffes as thank you gifts. I still have one more to go! But it will be made from different materials because I like making unique plushies ahaha (AKA I can never get a job as a tailor).
This is my first time using safety eyes! And my second time in a looooong while using faux fur. It's pretty bad, cos it shed a lot. It got up my nose when I was sewing I swear.
I hope the receiver likes it!

Voila! Le Giraffe! Ze is complete! He's so squishy and cuddly. He's downright adorable. (I felt like I was taking his mug shot) I think I'll modify the pattern next time I make him and add a little giraffey mane. Those are real stuffed animal type eyes! This took me about a week. I could probably do one in a weekend without any interruptions. He's polar fleece and about 10 inches, about the length of my forearm with my hand outstretched. More coming soon, after school is no longer hell, so hopefully soon. Come on people, you know you want one! I'm gonna test him out tonight and see how well he sleeps in my bed.

Phallic piece of foam, you shall be a tongue!

This will probably be the most challenging part of the costume, since it's the part that moves. I got a good amount of foam, so I can make mistakes and try many times to get it right, which I'll probably need.

The tongue will need to be about 10 inches to a foot long. (Here's a gif of it in [nasty] action: [link]) It will need to be able to waggle and wave around in a threatening and suggestive manner. It will not be green, but will rather have a correctly-colored sleeve over it. I haven't decided what material to make it out of, but I believe my best bet will be to cover it in a sleeve of plastic like a garbage bag. The color will be difficult to nail down. It's purpley, it's blackish, it's basically a giraffe tongue.

Cristina's diaper cake

This is my first diaper cake. I'll be giving it to the mother to be at her shower today.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Can't wait to see Cristina's reaction!

The bottom tier is a 50 pack of size 1 Huggies. The top tier is all the little gifts. That way Cristina only has to take apart the top to open her gifts.

The top tier is put together like: The big bottle is wrapped in the fleece blanket, which has the onesies on its front, rolled like the diapers, and wash clothes, also rolled, on it's back. The wrist toy is wrapped around the bottle, obviously. The Hotwheels ice pack is wedged between the blanket and onesies. The giraffe car seat toy's clip is pushed between the blanket and onesies. The bottle brush goes through the top tier and into the bottom tier to hold the two together. The small bottle, snack bowl, frame wash mitten, and stuffed toys are all lose and will just rest on or against the cake once displayed.

adorable little punk style arm warmers for the lil punk in your life, these arm warmers are specially sized for children (should fit ages 3-5, possibly older if the kid has tiny arms) these are 6inches around the tops of the arms and around the hand cuffs. These are made of 100% breathable jersey knit cotton fabric in a black & white stripe pattern, I call this pair 'Beetlejuice's sleeves' because he wore a black & white striped suit. Other fabric prints are available, in stock I have hot pink and lime green striped zebra print cotton, giraffe print cotton and the black & white stripped jersey knit that I made the pair pictured.
