Happy Earth Day! This is a was a really last minute hat I made and took photos of yesterday. I had come up with the plan to make cat hats based on the planets but then I noticed it was Earth Day today (how did I forget??) and made this one first.

I think it is pretty clear what colors represent what on the hat. I don't know if Earth would really be smiling but I figured a sad face did not fit. Hopefully one day the human race as whole can treat the planet better.

Studio Ghibli's Totoro Bracelet Charms

"Hey lets go! Hey lets go! I'm happy as can be!" One of the very first Hayao Miyazaki film I ever saw as a child was "Totoro" I must have watched it a hundred times since then and I still enjoy it now. I thought it would be such a cute idea to make some bracelet charms similar to my Adventure Time ones and this is what I came up with. It looks like May is frowning when that is actually her nose. I didn't draw a mouth on May, it is much cuter in real life >_< I promise. The cat bus is my favorite!

Handmade entirely out of polymer clay, painted with acrylics and glazed for shine and protection.

Woo now onto cat hats! I was going to post these yesterday but I spent the entire day telling my family I was moving >.> That took awhile. I was also going to start with the Siamese one but somehow the photos of that one are all out of focus. I will have to take new photos. I really love how the bright colored inner ears accentuate the shape of the cat ears. The other colors do not show it as well in photos.

These are made with 1/2" wide plastic headbands that suits adults and children. The bands are flexible and covered in soft anti-pill fleece that can be washed. (Handwashed, of course, since it's a headband.) The ears stick up on their own with a slight forward incline, like a real cat. Great for these warmer months! Ooooh, I love me kitty ears.

Since the thread I used was light it's a little hard to see but there are hearts in his eyes. I think I need to go buy some little bells for the collars :3

This adorable, unique, hand sculpted, fully poseable, fantasy "Siberian Baby Tiger Dragon" is a rare piece of artwork being offered up for bid! This is a completely hand made fantasy creature. I hand sculpted the head and feet onto a posable skeleton that I made and wrapped with stuffing so its very soft. I then paint the clay parts with acrylics and small brushes.. Synthetic fur.

There is not another creature like this in the world!

I do not use molds, casts or patterns, each is fully hand made and original.

The creature is approximately 7 inches long (Not including tail) and 5 1/2 inches high. The tail is 10 inches long. I sign each one. Enjoy!

Uclit my first creation are now under go a massive revision for the joints,
after making YUE I learn more about joints... and Uclit are just awful, I cant believe he can pose and stand so well with that kinda sculpt of mine.
I still dont have any time to go to workshop to bake his other part.
he is now are in his box scrambled *A*

and yes.. he have jointed tails than can move freely XD

btw, at first I plan him to have red color. in photoshop he look scary in red.. O_O;; lol

Bluesong Labradorite Pendant

This is a Labradorite carefully hand wrapped in Argentium sterling silver and 14k gold-filled wire.

Labradorite is an amazing stone that can appear dark at first, until you move it and the stone comes alive with colors flashing within. The effect is similar in appearance to opal fire. It is called chatoyancy/labradorescence, which is a fancy way of saying that the color 'flashes' or 'rolls' across the stone, like cat's-eye but far more vibrantly. It is a natural stone, and the effect is caused by refractive layers within the stone.

Alice in Wonderland OOAK Necklace

This is a project I started... oh maybe a year ago. I've been collecting Alice themed charms for a while, even making some of my own. I wanted to add more to it, but I've got a convention coming up soon and I want to have as much merchandise as possible so I decided to bring it along as it is now.

This will be coming with me to Florida Anime Experience on the 24th-26th of May, and it might sell there so if you want to snag it before the convention, it's going to be $36. I can provide size references of things if you're seriously interested in purchasing it. The necklace chain is 18" and the front of the locket has a cameo of the Cheshire Cat's grin and a tree branch. I can provide an image of that to any serious buyers as well.

If it doesn't sell by the end of convention season, it'll probably wind up on Etsy.

Cat in Cup

I didn't think I would finish this piece this fast. I really like how it turned out :3
It's an in-between project added to my 'Get it done 2013' list ([link]).

The pattern is from here [link] (scroll down a bit). The size is 33 stitches wide and 42 stitches high. Materials used: 14 count Aida and DMC cotton yarn (mostly from a finished kit).
Started: beginning of March (?), finished: April 20 (maybe 19)

I decided I wanted to try out a semi-realistic style for a change, so I did up this kitty here as a premade.

Yes, yes it is a Meowth, but the coin is removable via magnet! So it can be a normal Siamese cat, or a Meowth if you want to cosplay~

Features:
-Moving jaw
-resin base by crystumes [she no longer offers this base]
-Horse hair whiskers
-top and bottom jawset
- buckram eyes, I have no problem seeing in this head
- Long ear hair tuffs [kinda hard to see with black on black]
- Should fit up to a 24" head no issue. [or ladies with thick hair]

I would be will to do minor airbrushing to the snout if you'd like the dark nosed pattern a siamese cat has.

I'm posting this to announce I'm re-opening my commissions and stores buy my stuff! official announcement and giveaway tomorrow, gotta list things like my life depends on it. It kinda does, I needs monies

This was made for *XMoonlight-SonataX a few months ago, this commission was for her adorable Simba, a huge tabby cat with polydactylism (he has extra fingers). When she sent me the photos I said "okay, I gotta do tiny kitty polydactyl fingers, I have no idea how " but I'm actually really pleased with how they turned out. It's hard to notice how small they are in macro photography, but well... use my fingerprints as reference notice how tiny each finger is, barely two ridges wide. Also, I tried to replicate Simba's huge lion paws and fluffiness, he's a really gorgeous cat She wanted an opal effect moon, by the time she placed her commission I only had the materials to make the moon white, but she asked if I could make it green... I visited my craft store the next day and I saw everything I needed to make a green opal moon! It was magical

This commission was really important for me because I'm a huge fan of *XMoonlight-SonataX's work, she makes beautiful pet and animal sculptures that look alive and full of charisma. She also has some great tutorials and she's been a great source of inspiration for me. It was an honor to receive a commission from her. She sent me a photo of her Simba sleeping in a very lazy position and asked me to fit him in the moon in that same pose. I sculpted him as if he were lazily sleeping on the moon and falling from it, something my cats tend to do when they're really relaxed

Now that I'm re-opening my commissions I'll save again to donate to my local animal organization. I've been hanging out with them and helping them whenever I can do find out if they're really doing this for the animals, and not cheating anyone or keeping the money. I was actually amazed by how selfless and generous they are, they really care about the animals and put their lives at risk for them, they've kidnapped dogs from bad owners and endured being bitten by the same animals they're trying to rescue. A lot of times they don't receive enough donations and end up pocketing money for the animals. I'm happy to keep raising money for them and I trust them to keep doing their great work, I'm actually on my way to one of their events and I'll try to take photos to show you the kind of work they do

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay, hand sculpted by me without the use of molds or premades. The cat was painted with acrylic paints and a tiny brush to resemble Simba's pattern, colors and features. The moon opal effect was made using the same techniques explained in my faux opal tutorial (but I gotta admit it ended up being too bubbly and I wish I had done it better).

I'm accepting commissions for this, I can customize the moon with any combination of colors you want, or make it flat instead of textured, round, shiny, anything! If you send me reference photos I will also make an exact miniature copy of your own cat, dog or any cat/dog you want. Plushie: Patchy the Cat Teddy

This is Patchy, a somewhat insecure little cat. He is made of a special kind of very sparse mohair, which gives him his unique look. It is not exceptionally soft, but still pleasant to the touch They're like soft little stubbles, haha Patchy is OOAK (one of a kind), and I will not make another like him: he is and will remain unique.

Patchy was originally made to test the pattern of a much bigger teddy I was commissioned to make. It came out better than I'd dared to hope and he was approved! As that big one is nearing its completion, I find it safe to put Patchy here up for sale, as I don't need him anymore (sorry buddy).

He has ears and soles of real wool felt, bright blue glass cat eyes and embroidered nails and face. His paw pads and eyelids are made with needle felting, which gives his pads a nice relief. The tail and white felt were coloured with cinnamon tea, you can still smell traces of it on his tail! I put a pipecleaner inside Patchy's tail, so you can pose it in different ways, just how you like it. The blue, semi-transparent bow colours nicely with Patchy's eyes and comes along with him if you buy him.

Patchy can stand on his own thanks to the special sand in his feet. The rest of his body is stuffed with polyester fibrefill. When standing, Patchy measures 26 cm (10 inch). When sitting, he's 22 cm (8,5 inch) long. He can move all of his limbs and his head.

He is completely handmade with love, and from pattern to finish my own design.

This cat is unfortunately not suitable for young children, de to the glass eyes. You can play with him, but with care. Patchy is more of a collector's item than a toy, and would rather decorate a bookshelf, for instance. He cannot be washed and can not be put in a washing or drying machine. It would be best to keep him out of direct sunlight as well, as the tea-stained parts may fade if exposed too long.

Notes on material & sizes:

I made the pattern test from blue fleece, red robe velour and felt. At printout size you need about a 10x20 square of blue and a smaller piece of red.

At printout size, this makes a plush about 6 inches tall (sitting). I recommend using fleece as it's easy to work with, readily available and pretty inexpensive. Check your fabric store's remnants bin, where you can usually find lots of fleece for very little money, or keep an eye out for sales and coupons,

If you reduce the size of the plush, you should probably use a thinner fabric as fleece will be difficult to sew and turn and the seams will be very bulky. You can try anything with a bit of stretch to it - minky, velboa, robe velour, stretch velveteen and so on. I don't recommend using woven material like cotton or flannel as it doesn't stretch and will make an odd, skinny looking plush. If you enlarge the pattern, you can still use fleece or switch to faux fur for the body, which will make a very fluffy, chubby plush since the pile of the fur will bulk it out.

So I finally finished this plush ^w^ I'm so sorry for not uploading a procces photo ^^' iv'e been so busy that I completely forgot Anyways i'm totally happy how this turned out I think I am allowed to say that the body looks feline like ^w^ yes , its kind of my first cat plushie, I did make another one before ^^' but that body by mistake turned out okay for sitting ( whispers * it was supposed to be laying at first * ) , so it was a challenge x3 and i'm happy about it ^w^

I made a little crappy scarf as a present ^^' xD anyways the hair was a totel aaah xD I just hate making hair ^^' hope it is oki for you x3 Anyways I hope you like it ^-^

The entire plush is hand made ( no sewing machine )

First Plush Everrrrr

The first plush I ever made. Age: 10....

I think it's meant to be a plesiosaur or something? My mum helped me make it, she taught me how to hand sew, and how to leave room for a seam, and sew it inside out, leaving a small hole to turn it.

He has rice inside (also pretty covered in cat fur, but everything is in my room)

Prison Loki's Adventures

Prison was really tough on Loki. These photos chronicle just a small portion of his incarceration. In my house.

1.) Loki seems to find someone who speaks his language.
2.) Loki's daily medication. No matter how happy the pills are, his attitude remains unchanged.
3.) Not even a prison trip to the Grand Galloping Gala excites him.
4.) After that pony fiasco, Loki tries to turn the resident cat against the humans. He is forbidden to see the cat again. This is his cat friend substitute.
5.) Incarceration has really made Loki's creativity blossom.
6.) Loki defiantly refuses to remove his clothing during bath time. Perhaps the camera following him has something to do with that. What a prude.
7.) Loki learns how to clone ponies. He's experimenting with sizes and powers.
8.) Loki is waiting for this ride to start. Disney seems to have made some budget cuts.
9.) Loki finds the cutlery.
10.) Loki has had it up to here with this "curiouser and curiouser," chick. He's thinking of the cutlery.
