Part 2 of an art trade with

This shot was more difficult to find good colors for than it was to actually build. The darkened scene played with my color perception more than I'd like to admit. I found myself going back and re-cutting with different sheets several times over. For the first time, as well, I utilized a semi-transparent vellum sheet as a means to blend colors (this method was used for Totoro's belly)

Very happy with the outcome depicting this iconic shot from a beloved classic.

All cut from card-stock paper, and layered into a 12"x12" shadowbox frame.

Panna Cotta w/ jam and berries

Here's an alternate way of serving panna cotta. I had a bit left over after making the three serves with jelly for dessert so I popped the rest in a scalloped ramekin. I unmoulded it, then drizzled over a raspberry jam/juice mixture I threw together and heated to make a quick sauce. Then I piled a whole bunch of berries on top.

I have to admit to liking this version, taste-wise, the best. The raspberry jam is so tart, it really cuts through the richness of the panna cotta.

Finally! my hardest work to date: 30 pegboards, 25.230 Hama and Nabbi beads and about 50 colors. I don't think I will ever do another one with that much colors!
It took me months to finish because the amount of touch up that it needed when I completed all the boards.

_{So here is a collage of pictures of a paper shoe I made for a friend's birthday. He's a really good friend of mine and since I couldn't find time to make him a mudkip papercraft, I made him a papercraft of a shoe [because he loves shoes] with some of his favorite things drawn on it, like favotite anime characters, favorite band/song name, favorite places, favorite pokemon, etc.
The papercraft is a bit messy because it was a bit rushed and I was really tired and sleepy, so there are also quite a number of mistakes.
But anyway, I think it turned out great. And he really loved it too~

Scylla OC Custom Toy

Here's another commission piece, 's OC Scylla. This one presented a bit of a challenge as she has an obvious tail modification as well as added wings and mods to the ears and snout. The hardest part was actually the hair, because I had to use colored clay but blend the seams, which is always difficult.

She was made off an Applejack, modifications done with super sculpey, painted with acrylics, hair with sculpey 3, and sprayed with matte acrylic sealer.

Hmm, he does still need a name, I keep calling him either 'Tanuki' or 'Will' (I don't really want his name to be 'Will' but it sticks since I've been watching the 'Hannibal' series while working on him and the plush has a somewhat sad face so, yeah...). So I haven't decided yet xD

Anyway, this raccoondog is the biggest plushie I have ever made, he beats even Jake the cat! Nose to butt, he's 46 cm (18 inch). He's made of a super long-piled Tissavel fabric. Each guard hair is 8 cm long! It was therefore not an easy fabric to work with, and I had just enough for one plushie like this. I bought it specifically to make this one, so that's okay. It does have a somewhat funny smell, stronger than any other fabric I have. Not sure what it is, but it doesn't bother me anymore. The earrims have Copic shading, the rest is all sewn-in. His mouth and toes are embroidered on and his pawpads and nose are dark suedine. Tanuki has big brown glass eyes that look black unless the light hits them right. The fur can easily be styled, so he can have a variety of hairstyles depending on what I like I took many more pics but they won't fit in one collage. The tanuki is heavy: his paws are all stuffed with steel pellets and he has a big pouch of plastic pellets in his belly as well. He's floppy, but not extremely so. The size is perfect for hugging, and if possible, I'd like to make more plushies this size in the future

This guy was imposssible to photograph! He is set with picture jasper and is my first experiment with 3d features. I am not going to reveal how I achieve the 3d effects as it has taken me so much time and money to learn! Suffice it to say, it is a kind of resin.

He has a soft 3d gold (metallic in the light) edging with golden pearls in the background. His eyes are wax with silver.

Harry Potter Earrings, House Tie Color and House P

Hi

Inspired by Harry Potter, I have created all four Hogwarts Houses colors and points in little glass bottles.

Perfect for any growing sorcerer/witch, these earrings are just adorable!

The bottles are made of glass and are no taller than 22 mm each.

Sculpted by hand around the neck of each of them are the signature house colors.

So red for Gryffindor house, Yellow for Hufflepuff house, green for Slytherin house and last but not least; Blue for Ravenclaw house.

Inside are the "house points" accumulated which are seed bead style glitter that correspond to the color of the necktie on the outside.

Each bottle is sealed up with a cork and glue so you will not lose your house points.

Each bottle is mounted to a silver plated ear wire, making the total length of these earrings 1 3/4'' long, just the right length for school or social outings

Each pair of earrings comes in a gift box are are bubble wrapped for extra precaution.

All you need to do is select the color you desire in the drop down box on the upper right.
