Garrus and female Shepard couple from Mass Effect.

As usual, 12" tall standing, mainly fleece and felt (except for the visor) and machine sewn. The face and accents are hand-painted with fabric paint.

Commissioned Garrus Vakarian plushie for . I'm super-pleased with how this guy turned out. I know other people have done Garrus plushies, but I purposely didn't look at them while I was working on this so I wouldn't rip anyone off. Hopefully I came up with something that is uniquely "mine" (even though I don't get to keep him.)

As usual, 12" tall standing, all fleece (except for the visor) and mainly machine sewn. The face and accents are hand-painted with fabric paint.

There's no Shepard...

Boy, bracelets like that are pain in the neck to make photos of .

Any fan of Mass Effect would know that phrase that Shepard told Garrus near the end of ME3, and seriously I don't know anyone who do not adore our own friendly Turian . I just had to make something like this ^^.
The quote is handcarved. The gunmetal gray N7 logo and gold Archangel logo have delicate pattern to resemble brushed metal.

The bracelet is made of polymer clay with wooden core. It's about 2 cm high and have about 7cm in diameter. The inside is painted with silver acrylic paint. Whole bracelet is paited with matt laquer for protection. The bracelet is handmade by me without use of any molds. This is the only copy.

There's no Shepard... 2

What would Garrus give Shepard to express his feelings? Rings might be nice and traditional for humans, but they could be caught in the gun's trigger and make sniping difficult, and who needs that? So he gave her a bracelet, with those words she said before the battle, that made him hold his breath for a second. He had it made by turian jewelcrafter so the whole design was feminine but in this spiky, sharp, turian way. He hoped she would like it and she did. She was one turian kind of woman after all.

So, I made those during the three days between the annoncement of Mass Effect DLC and the moment I actually got to see it. I had to distract myself a little . I wanted to make designs feminine but turian-ish. We don't really know what Turian women are wearing so I had to improvise ^^. As a Garrus' symbol I used the Archangel logo, just like one he had on his armor in ME2.

All the bracelets are handmade, without the use of any molds, texts are handwritten. They are and one of a kind.
They are made of precolored metallic polymer clay with a wooden core and are painted with acrylic paint on the inside. Gold pieces are patterned to resemble brushed metal. The bracelets are adorned with Swarovsky zirconias and laquered with matt varnish. They are around 7 cm in the inside diameter. Bigger one is 4 cm high, smaller are a little over 2 cm high.

Battle Damage Garrus plushie

New version of Garrus with battle damage and his trusty sniper rifle! I think this is my best Garrus to date.

I'm sorry, yes, Garrus is still retired, but this little fellow (along with Tali) is being sent to g33Watch for their Mass Effect Marathon 2. Ladies....

Finally made my very own Garrus plush! =3 He's a good, big boy too...over 30 inches tall! His visor is removable and made from the plastic window on a bakers box and felt. The rest of him is fleece, and his tats are painted on. (Hard to see in this pic, but he also has his leg spurs sewed on!)

Thanks to some new stuffing I found, he is also completely poseable =3

Shepard Papercraft Download

My 5th Mass Effect papercraft, but the 1st one to use content from Mass Effect 3. Built between the 3rd-16th June.

This is a papercraft template of the female version of Commander Shepard wearing the classic N7 Armour. The model comes with three options for the head. The first is an uncovered head made by simplifying the default ME3 model. If her default appearance or my heavy handed editing isn't to your taste you can build a helmet wearing version with either an open or closed visor. I prefer the helmet version as the face didn't turn out as well as I hoped, plus the head looks small compared to the body.

Follow the download link below to get the resources you need to print and build your own version!

It's a 39.4MB RAR file which contains PDFs and PDOs to print from or use as references. ~44.2cm tall (helmet version),18-19 pages and at least 267 pieces including the Avenger assault rifle.

You can open the RAR archive with software such as WinRAR, Alzip, 7Zip. Just search around!

Please do use this as it's immensely helpful as a resource and will show you exactly where parts go. It doesn't work on Macs unfortunately though.

Questions:

Will you make a male Shepard or [insert character]?
For me, my main file has been a female Shepard throughout the trilogy and while I don't dislike the male version (one's my secondary renegade file), I don't 'feel' the same connection or appeal. This is critical for making papercrafts because to work on something for about 2-3 months with several weeks of building requires strong interest in the subject matter. Other squad members could be made in future, though again I have to like them initially. Also I prefer the aliens because human faces are more annoying to edit.

Will you make any more guns?
Not separately at least. I enjoy making the characters far more. The weapons are a second thought for pose purposes, and a nightmare to edit in any case. Currently all my packs except Tali contain one weapon template. (Mordin: Predator, Liara: Tempest, Garrus: Mantis, Shepard: Avenger, Javik: Particle Rifle).

Shouldn't the helmet have a red stripe?
No. Not in ME3 at least, check it out in game- the top of the helmet is dark grey in the default scheme.

Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't make a Garrus one sooner. With how much I love that turian... it was time I rectified it. Now all I can think about is something going right, just once... just... :3

So here he is! Garrus Vakarian! On top of the eagle logo on his armor. I'm quite happy with how he turned out. Even his facial markings came out. And he only took me 45 minutes. YAY!

Garrus Vakarian Eagle Leather Cuff

This is a leather cuff inspired by the eagle logo on Garrus's armor. This veg tanned leather cuff measures 5"x3.5". The back is laced up with black suede lace so it can be adjusted to fit every width of wrist.

I was working on making myself a Cerberus and Alliance beanie to match my costumes but those were driving me a bit... insane. So I decided to take a step back and work on some other designs. That's when the N7 one came into play. I wanted to have another Mass Effect beanie but couldn't decide on what exactly I wanted... then it popped. GARRUS! Everyone knows how much of a die-hard GarBear fan I am. That's when the eagle logo on his armor in ME2 came into place. I am really happy with how they turned out. Maybe I'll try to do other ME ones...

Garrus Felt Doll

Took about two days of on and off work. I'm very happy with my results, seeing as this was my very first felt doll ever.
I think if I made another, it would turn out a little less messy though, but I sort of like the rough look, it works for Garrus.

Going to make my femshep next, then who knows what after that.We'll see.

I have him standing on my two Garrus comics...I own all the comics, in both covers... don't you judge me :I

so. legion. LEGION, YOU GUYS. THIS LITTLE GETH WAS A HANDFUL.

i'll preface by saying i had some oral surgery this week, so trying to craft while under the influence of painkillers was PROBABLY not my brightest idea.

legion is one of my favorite ME2 characters, and i'm SO bummed he wasn't in more of the game. (although if you haven't already, you can watch some interesting footage of legion helping out on tali's loyalty mission. REALLY interesting stuff.)

legion, like garrus, was a character that i was very excited to craft - as well as VERY apprehensive. i just couldn't figure out, in my head or in my sketches, what they were supposed to look like.

after i tackled garrus i put legion on the back burner, afraid of the massive undertaking he would be. i've been sketching out ideas for awhile, but the positive feedback i've received on my plushies these last few weeks finally gave me the motivation to get things going.

one little thing i was proud of but doesn't really show well in the photo: i drew on the grey arm fabric to create the 'sinewy' look of legion's arms.

i knew i didn't want to put a hole clean through the plush (even though it would've been more accurate), so i made a heart-shaped hole in his armor. i experimented with bits of fabric, yarn, pipe cleaners, craft foam to create the exposed wires on his chest, but i wanted something a little more "cutesy", so i settled on the rhinestone lines.

anyway, hope you guys like him! ^.^

Mass Effect They Fell From The Heavens Pumpkin

This pumpkin is literally the death of me. I didn't like the first version... it felt incomplete to me... so I spent even more time into it making it a total of 9 hours. Yes, 9 freaking hours! My hand is literally at my neck trying to choke me as I write this and my back is screaming, "I'll make it impossible for you to sleep!" But I am now officially happy with the result!

So I give to you "They Fell From The Heavens." With artwork used from the ME3 Artbook and images online of Reapers, Reaper Forces, and ME3 London. It's definitely better in person, you can see the fiery trail left behind by the Reapers better, but this will have to do for now. As for the characters on the bottom, from left to right, it's a banshee, ravager, cannibal, husk, Shepard, Tali, and Garrus.

Now onto the Mako Mountain Climbing Team pumpkin! Something easy! <3

my FAVORITE thing about making these plushies is that when i finish a character, i have a whole new appreciation for them.
(sidenote: why aren't there more liara plushies?!)

liara bugged me in ME, but in replaying ME3 i take her on almost every mission. (always on every mission: GARRUS.) she's grown as a character, and i find her much more intriguing. plus, i LOVE her interactions with javik.

also, some really interesting liara backstory if you don't play a femshep that hooks up with liara: (spoiler? i guess? it's been out since march!) liara meets her father in ME3. REALLY great stuff.

So... this was a challenge.

After I saw this fantastic plush of Garrus on 's page, I wanted to have one really badly. However, she wasn't taking comissions and I was a bit skint to be ordering things from the US anyway. So, as the legend goes, I had the brilliant idea to pick up a needle for the first time ever and stitch away at something so complicated I ended up stitching more of my fingers into the plush than actual fabric...

Took around 3-4 days to complete. Everything's fleece, 'cept for the armour which is soft felt. Body paint and details done in acrylic and the eyes were stiched. Everything was done by hand, save for a few bits of machine-work on the fringe.

There's obviously a few flaws to be seen around, but for the most part I'm quite happy with it and somewhat considering making another (and perhaps a Tali too). Anyone think there's a chance of these selling?

This cosplay was constructed in less than two weeks (never enough time), and it still wasn't done fully for ACen 2011 but some touches like the flashing LED in the mask really pulled it together. Spent two sleepless nights on the swirls pattern right before the con-- that was beyond exhausting, but it was worth every moment.

Mass Effect N7 Paragon Renegade Necklaces

These charms are sealed with a fixative to help make them water resistant (but not waterproof, so be sure to take off before swimming or showering!), and covered with a clear epoxy seal. I also have glittery epoxy seals, if any of you Femsheps out there are wanting something a little more lovely~

Necklaces are approximately 17 inches long. By default they come with a black chain, but I have a variety of colored chain to choose from, if you'd like something else. Just let me know if you'd like a different chain when making your order, and I will happily put that together for you. : )

Mass Effect N7 Clock v2

This is version 2.0 of my Mass Effect Systems Alliance N7 clock. I'm now 82 hours into ME2 (after 80 hours and two playthroughs of ME1) and working my way onto ME3. So far, ME2 is AWESOME (LOVE Miranda - dream girl much?) but I keep hearing bad things about the ending of ME3 which makes me a sad panda.

The N7 logo was done by ~lincer556 [link] and I enlarged the background and made the numbers for the time in Photoshop.

i know a lot of people were up in arms about picking up this DLC, but javik was totally worth it. having him along in your party made a lot of dialogue options more interesting. and the way he interacts with the other crew members on board the normandy? o man, i can't get enough!

i think some people will ask why his face is so teal, but it's supposed to be! i used a really great reference image by dA user Troodon80 (found here: [link]) in which it shows javik's face teal at the chin and quickly becoming darker. since that's practically impossible for me unless i want to paint the fabric (and potentially mess it up D, i spent a few hours with various percentages of prismacolor greys to try to soften the teal. (it was REALLY bright.)

chibi javik now sits beside chibi liara on my shelf o' mass effect plushies. :3

Mass Effect N7 Renegade Paragon Lanyards

Show off your love for Mass Effect with a lanyard from the Monostache, aka Commander Shepard's Favorite Store on the Internet!

I have 3 designs: N7, Renegade, or Paragon.

These charms are sealed with a fixative to help make them water resistant (but not waterproof, so be sure to take off before swimming or showering!), and covered with a clear epoxy seal. I also have glittery epoxy seals, if any of you Femsheps out there are wanting something a little more lovely~

By default, the lanyards will come in black, but I have many other colored ribbons if you'd like a different. Just leave a note when checking out with your order to let me know!

Lanyards are 28 inches long, and are great for any convention or show where you'll need one~

I have 3 designs: N7, Renegade, or Paragon. These necklaces are a little more "manly" with the basic ballchain from the necklace, added length, and more basic design compared to my deluxe necklaces: [link]

These charms are sealed with a fixative to help make them water resistant (but not waterproof, so be sure to take off before swimming or showering!), and covered with a clear epoxy seal. I also have glittery epoxy seals, if any of you Femsheps out there are wanting something a little more lovely~

Necklaces are 24 inches long, and if that is too long for your liking, can easily be shortened using a pair of nail clippers.

Mass Effect N7 Christmas Ornament

The bows are all 1/8" satin ribbon, hand stitched to keep in place. The bottom bow and matching rhinestone are glued together for a secure hold.

Team Dextro FTW

Here's every Shepard's favorite team of mission-buddies! Now 75% more adorable (except in the case of Tali- she's pretty darn adorable as-is).
These are three of the Mass Effect plushies I constructed, working off BabyLondonStar's Sit pattern. I have Tali and Garrus in their ME2 outfits (no rocket-face scars for Garrus, though), flanking my Shepard.

All three are made of polar fleece, with foam armor for Garrus and Shepard, and for Tali's wraps, purple cotton fabric adorned with a white fabric pen.

Patterns for Tali'Zorah coming later.

Mass Effect N7 Renegade Paragon Phone Case

This is a phone case/mini purse designed to be as useful and awesome as possible! Fully lined and padded for security, this has a main pocket (6.5" x 4.5") that will fit any smart phone or small device (iPod, camera, etc.). There is also an outer pocket to keep your money/ID/credit card in.

The case secures in place with velcro, and the clasp opens so you can attach the case to a bag or purse, around your wrist, or around your belt loop! I cut out the N7 design out of deluxe and secured it by stitching it in place. Each phone case comes with a matching charm, attached with a keyring. By default the charm is an N7 charm, but you can also choose either a Paragon or Renegade design, if you'd like, just send me a message~

The idea for Nora came from this FanFiction: The Space Between by VoiDreamer (FemShep x Garrus) Story Link: [link]

The name Jenna comes from the savegame I downloaded from MassEffectSaves.com. Renegade Shepard with no romances and did mostly everything good in Mass Effect. MassEffectSaves.com link: [link]

Combining the two, you get Jenna "Nora" Shepard, Earthborn, Sole Survivor Vanguard of the SSV Normandy with a Garrus romance
