"After Boo was saved, Sully and Mike realized they no longer required scares for cash, thus forcing Mike into a new line of business; comedy.

As Mike continued his stand-up routine with the children in hopes for laughs, Sully partied and wasted money that he didn't have. The problem is: the world didn't care, it was Sully, a hero and role model. And everyone loves Sully. Everyone but the one living in his shadow.

Mike was tired of it. Tired of lowering himself to telling jokes, only to hurt himself in the process over, and over again. Mike decided to have a talk with Sully about it, but was continuously avoided. Angered, Mike followed Sully one day, only to realize he was headed for the home of Mike's girlfriend, Celia.

Mike rushed home, shocked to find the two talking. His anger got the best of him and he attacked Sully. Out of defense, Sully struck Mike, catching his one-eye. Out of confusion and anger, Mike launched his nimble body into Sully, peircing him with his horns, killing him.

As Sully laid dead on the floor, Celia screamed, blaming Mike for the death of him. She then told Mike that he wanted to surprise him with a new job, and was just talking with her to help surprise him.

Devastated, and now wanted by the Monster City Police, Mike ran. He had to go where no one could ever find him, so he travelled to the old Monster's Inc factory. Mike opened one of the Doors, and was transported to Earth to live amongst the humans, banishing himself from Monstropolis.

This is where Mike was broken, and dwelled on the city streets, among those that looked down upon him.

To this day, no one knows what happened to Mike, and no one ever will."

Ever since reading that as a child, I've had an obsession with the idea of the world being taken over by stupid punk-ass lizard mutants. It'd be great. I'm going to be using that for the premise of a zine, but I'm still working out the kinks in that plan. For now, here's this weirdo.

This was an amazing commission I loved the idea from the minute I read it. It was really fun to do, complicated due to the small size and lots of details... but really fun just the kind of thing I love to do. These earrings are a combo of my citric and cake dangling earrings, which can be found in my Etsy and Storenvy (links above).

These are Portal Cakes with Lemon Grenades and some regular lemon halves. I copied the Portal Cake from the outside, and since it's supposed to be a Black Forest Cake I added some tiny cherries to the filling. Making the chocolate shavings on the right scale and texturing something so small was a challenge.

The Lemon Grenade was tricky because the pieces needed to be precise and straight to look realistic, otherwise they end up looking too cartoonish. I made my best to look the clay look like rusty metal.

I love how polymer clay can be manipulated to look like a translucent cherry, creamy frosting, delicate chocolate shaves, crumbly cake, though metal, juicy pulp, and citric peel... it's simply magic T_T I only used a bit of paint for the metal effect, the rest is all polymer clay.

Technical stuff: All handmade by me with polymer clay, no molds, bought pieces or premades were used, 100% me the cake was made using the techniques explained in my many cake tutorials (which can be found in my DA and YouTube). Glaze and the tiniest bit of acrylic paints were also used.

I got to play around with our braids for a bit ahahaha.

Thorin is coming along slowly. I do, however, enjoy drawing him VERY much (also thanks to the lovely Richard Armitage who plays this character.)

The hardest part has yet to come, which is his fur coat. And costume. And background... Good lord... But first I got to finish his armour, which so far has taken me 2 to 3 hours of work already. Ooph

Yep.
This isn't the entire story though, this is just Toby's back ground, but as you may have noticed, it doesn't describe his
serial killer appearance or any thing like that, so yes there will be another story that continues on with this and sort of
shows what happens to him from there on out.

I've decided to make his actual story serious like this and ya'know... theres no Richard jokes or nothin in here, because i
tried to be as serious as possible so these probably will have nothing related to the whole "Richard's mansion" thing
because thats more of a light comedic thing. But yeah there will be more about Toby, and it will describe more about him
being a proxy and such but until then heres, "The beginning" of it.

Spider-Man and Batman are two of my all time favorite Characters....which lead me to have this idea for a while of combing both of what I love about Spider-Man and Batman and combine the both of the 2 worlds together. So I came up with these designs for fun and First up is Spider-Bat which as you guessed it is a combo Batman and Spider-Man!! I have a list of other characters already worked out so stay tuned!! This is a very unique, hand crafted, and realistic mechanical Mantis made from the recycled parts of old watches.

His body is made out of watch strap springs and a blue Christmas light bulb.

His wings are made from antique watch faces that have been cut, sanded, and curved into wing shapes.

His head is made from a watch dial, bent into shape and onto it are soldered winding stem knobs that act as his eyes.

His legs were created with many different watch winding stems that have been cut into various sizes and soldered at the leg joints using lead free silver bearing solder.

There is no glue or resin to be found in the piece...everything is soldered into place with metal. This is a one of a kind work of art, never to be exactly reproduced.

I'm really happy with the background, but something bothers me about Splash....maybe the anatomy is off a bit or something, I dunno. I don't think it came out too bad overall.

Also, I've decided Splash doesn't wear her scarf and wristband in the Spring and Summer, too hot! I didn't forget them xD

Original Design for a Hilltop Village

I went back in my sketch collection and found a nice sketch of an Italian village, done on toned Canson paper with touches of white and reddish/terra cotta, done from an old black and white photo. I found a new piece of the same paper, did a quick 5 minute re-sketch of the basic forms, and took it from there. This one is much more elaborate, and quite different. Only the "spirit" of the first sketch remains.

Part of the "Infinite Village" project, this segment of the village goes through a warm climate zone with significant hills and mesas. I imagined all the roof material is the same color to unify the roofscape. Exteriors have some stucco finishes, in white and tan, and maybe a little brick and stone. There's a public plaza to the right with a fountain. Small streams and waterfalls can be found throughout.

Technique: A rare pencil sketch on toned paper! I don't do them enough anymore. I use Canson paper and cut it to size to fit in a binder easily. Pencils include 2H to 2B. I used white and terra cotta red watercolor to add accents. This kind of limited palette gives a nice effect, emphasizing the beautiful and varied roofscape. Finally, I added a few details and accents with a Micron brown ink pen with a very fine tip.

Summary

Heileen is a normal girl with normal parents living in the rural area of Ferelden. Her father is a farmer and her mother is an owner of a bar in their local village. With her Mabari hound named Big Brother, she's had a carefree childhood away from the dark-spawn.

Except for the fact that she's an apostate mage, or specifically a hedge mage: a person never sent to the Circle. Her parents have kept her powers hidden from the outside world out of fear from the Templars.

Unbeknownst to her, a dragon lies in wait.

He knows that she's the one. A person who will bring forth destruction or peace throughout the land.

He feels her, needs her, craves her.

He has finally found his master, a Dragon Caller.

One who guides or controls dragons for his or her own benefit. They are able to summon dragons to do their bidding. Able to understand and read the language of dragonia, they were abundant back during the Pre-Ages. Many of them were wiped out during the Steel Age and the few left went into hiding.

That's sure a lot of labels up there! How many? Let's see, 1...2...19... That looks like at least 30,000, though that's just a rough estimate. Could be even more!

Here are all the labels I've used for decorative bottles, including three all new ones. Arrogant Trixie and Brew Free or Derp jumped the fourth wall and are actual craft beers brewed by my family.

Still owe a few people bottles by mail. Ordering new labels this week and will try and get those out shortly thereafter.

Anyhoo, I'm retiring regular Nuka Classy, Sweet Apple Cider, and probably Brew Free or Derp, so if you caught them last year, congrats! If not...well the new ones are pretty cool too!
