It's sleek, aesthetically beautiful and kinda Joan-of-Arc-ish. Great time drawing this one.

Page 13 of the Prophecy. Leena and Vania arrive at the Sign of the Flaming Rose, looking for Kallian's contact from the Scepter of Science. Here, we introduce Terek the exile to the story. He is the drunk warrior that grab's Vania's butt and brings out the extremely protective nature of Leena towards her. We also hint at a past event called the border wars, which will have significance to certain characters later in the story.

This pic is reeeaally old!! I only uploaded it for =izka197 :3 she's working on a new manga and needed some secondary characters, so she's free to use any of these
[oh, this is the cast from a manga me and my friends were working on (but we only finished one volume ) it's called "Final Fantasy Legends" and it's a parody of animes and rpgs :3 it kinda consist in going in different dimensions (which are different animes, like Sailor Moon) and making a mess and screwing up their stories - the story is sooo stupid but I swear, IT'S SO FUNNEH~, I haven't seen anyone NOT laughing while reading it XD]

OK, LOONG DESCRIPTION UP AHEAD, I SUGGEST YOU SKIP ^^
starting from the lower left:

Chiara: she's 17 and she's extremely funny :3 she has a guy-like personality, doesn't care what other people think, and thinks girls are stupid. She's the girls all the guys want, loves to party, to sleep, FOOD, and playing video games. Her best friend is Bianca.

Bianca: she's 17 but looks 13 :3 she's a little shy and blushes easily. She is so small and cute people just jump on her and hug her or pet her X3 although she tends to be quiet in the beginning, once she loosens up she'll never stop talking O__O she's innocent, naive, adores animals and people and says real stupid things too.

Makura: age unknown, but looks 24. He's technically the badass villain and acts all cold and superior when he's in public, but when you get him alone he's just a narcissistic wacko who loves to cosplay, crossdress and go to the beauty salon XD

Cecilia: she's 17 and is a real pain nothing is ever perfect to her, she's got always something to complain about, and sees herself as perfect. SHE LOVES SHOPPING and money is her lifeee, she'd do pretty much anything for it. So yeah, she tends to cheat and steal (but usually fails XD the real thief is Chiara). She is EVIL~ and beats Bianca up for her stupidity.

Priscilla: she's 17 and is extremely beautiful. She doesn't like to talk much, always has the same bored and non-surprised expression, and is a super genius. She knows EVERYTHING. She obviously sucks at normal activities such as sports XD

Roy: he's 19. He's kinda expressionless too -_-; but he's sorta funny 'cause he'll inadvertently make jokes using that same bored face XD He's often made fun of because he looks like a girl (he's damn beautiful XD). He doesn't care of what anybody thinks, and his best friend is Zell. Bianca falls in looove with him the minute she sees him ^^

Zell: he's 20 but acts 12 XD he's super funneh~ and loves to play pranks (especially on Cecilia.. they both hate each other). He acts super stupid (well he IS XD) and loves chasing pretty girls :3 (he's particularly obsessed with Chiara now ^^). He has a BIG EGO and always wants to be the center of attention. He loves hanging out with Roy.. they're complete opposites. He's an excellent cook and tends to lie, cheat and steal XD

Steve: he's 18 and is suuuper smart. He talks in a super old-fashioned way too, so everybody has a hard time understanding him XD he's extremely shy and accident prone. Priscilla takes interest in him because she thinks she has finally found someone who can equal her in intelligence.

Matt: he's 19. He's the most responsible of the group, but always seems to be surrounded by an aura of sadness (because of his past D:> ). He's gentle and kind and always helps others, but in the end he tends to be a loner.. he depends only on himself. Deep down, he still can't bring himself to trust others.

Nidoyu: she's 23 and is a cruel and sadistic biatch XD she likes to hurt people and will obtain with force anything she wants. SHE HAS AN EVIL LAUGH O__O. She also claims to be Roy's girlfriend, and destroys any other girl who tries to compete with her.

Clecow: she's 18 and is really, really DUMB. EXTREMELY DUMB. She's bubbly and hyperactive, laughs a lot and loves shopping. She obviously thinks she's the smartest person in the world, but really.. her brain is the size of a golf ball. She's confident and cocky, and claims to be Zell's girlfriend (..even though Zell has thousands of "girlfriends" XD). Nidoyu sometimes can't stand her stupidity and hits her with her whip.

Jacques: age unkown (probably in his early twenties). He's Makura's hairdresser XD he's a gentleman and has excellent taste. He treats every girl as a princess, and loves beautiful things.

Merea: she's 19 and is a little fat XD she's naive and loves animals and plants. She'd never hurt anything or anyone. She's kinda the servant/slave of the Nidoyu-Clecow-Vaporwise group. She is deeply in love with Steve, and believes she is his mother XD

Vaporwise: she's 21 (but looks significantly smaller). She's the leader of the group formed by Nidoyu, Clecow and Merea. She's cold, rational, analytical and a strategy planner. She's the group's mastermind and uses each member's strenght to its full potential. She's Matt's girlfriend (for real XD).

Inspiration and Story: Originally I was wanting to do something that was a Final Fantasy cross-over with Friendship is Magic. When I first used halothemes vector I was first starting out and not that great at my craft yet. The background I picked was a somewhat generic lightning image and the editing was rather poor quality by my standards today.

I always wanted to go back and re-visit this vector when I was more confident in my skills. I recently spent a week trying to find the perfect background and twice as long as I usually take tailoring it to fit. I can say with confidence this is my true tribute to your vector halotheme.

A project that took me quite a good amount of time to finish. Im glad though, since this could be the first thing I can post for my new account. For your information, Dinne makes a short appearance in I don't remember what Final Fantasy game which was realeased only on mobile phones.
She's supposed to be Nanaki's mate. It was said they were the only two members of their species and so they were "married" and Dinne stayed in a cave for years going through a sort of meditative hibernation which would explain why you don't see her in FF7 (yeah blame Square for stupid plotholes explanations).

The story is silly but I like that couple. I don't picture them as very romantic but they make a good team!

That idea came from a picture I once found on the internet (maybe on DA). I can't remember the artist name but there was Red and this amazing green glow and I wanted to try my hand at it too. So, dear forgotten artist, thank you!

Also I'd like to say, when I was a little girl, and had no friend and imagined extraordinary adventures, I once coined the word "larko" to name Nanaki's species.
To see that word still used on DA and TLKFAA is... well you can't imagine how proud I feel. And to see that people probably all forgot it was me who once invented it makes me even more proud. It makes that imaginary world comes true in a way.

I do not know if the expressions are rather understandable!

We can imagine that sora to be typed several times the wall before that this cracks. That's why he is full of blood and scratch.

BONUS DIRECTOR'S COMMENTARY

-I discovered to my horror that the linework, colors, and background for this comic somehow got merged together and saved and the original line art was lost. This means I could only do color adjustments and some filling but not give it the full "Redux" treatment. This saddens me because, WOW, do I want to re-render that side panel (Don't use white for highlights, kids!) and replace these backgrounds. The shading in this is pretty sloppy and awful, too. Poop!

If you have ever wondered who win in a fight, Frankenstein or Jason or the Wolfman or the Alien this is for you! Inspired by my favorite fighting game, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, I have created art for my ultimate fighting game fantasy, a movie monster fighting game!

I hope you enjoy.

I have chosen 1970 as the defining year of classic and modern. I realize that many of your favorites might not have made the cut. I followed a few rules to make the list.

1. The monster must be iconic and highly recognizable. Thats why the Cloverfield Monster or War of the Worlds Martian didnt make the list.

2. The monster has to have some supernatural or super human abilities. Thats why Hannibal Lecter makes the list but Norman Bates does not.

3. The monster must be highly mobile and make for an interesting fighting character. Thats why HAL 9000 & Jigsaw are not on the list.

4. The monster must be a villain in most of its incarnations. Thats why the Predator or the Terminator didnt make the list but Frankensteins Monster or the Wolfman did.

5. I went for unique and interesting over pure popularity. Thats why Jaws and Jurassic Parks T-Rex make the list.

6. Godzilla didnt make the list as a playable character because the game would be over if you could play as him. However, I do imagine him to be the final boss.

FAQs

1. Where do the characters fight?
Each character has its own background, (Draculas castle, Frankensteins lab, the Black Lagoon, Crystal Lake, Elm Street, Jurassic Park, etc.)

2. Why is the zombie named Romero?
Romero refers to George Romero as in the zombie is a Romero style zombie.

3. How does Jaws fight on dry land?
Whenever Jaws is chosen the screen floods. All his fights happen underwater.

4. How can Stripe beat anyone?
Characters who lack size make up for it with special attacks. Stripe has legions of Gremlins at his command, the Wicked Witch flying monkeys, the Invisible Man can become completely invisible except for his tracking shadow.

5. Are there any other characters in the game not seen here?
Yes, I imagine some monsters would be Non Playable bosses like Mr. Hyde, The Fly, the Thing (the John Carpenters version), which would morph and have the abilities and attacks of all the previous characters and finally Godzilla.

6. Will this ever be a real game?
I highly doubt this would ever be a real game based on the number of different companies that would have to sign off on it. Too bad.

7. Will prints become available?
Sorry, prints will not be made available, as I dont have the permission of the copyright holders.

Thanks for all the sweet comments, guys. Even though I don't answer to everyone, it's always a great pleasure reading from you!

Oh and since last strip I talked about a few lesbian books I was reading, and alot wanted to know which, so here's a little list of the novels I read so far:
-Broken Wings by LJ Baker (an interesting take on the fairy world and how different politics and species interact, themes: family, love and trust)
-Thirteen Hours by Meghan O'Brien (two beautiful women with very different personnalities are stuck in an elevator for 13 hours. You'll never guess what happens! erotic fiction)
-Hunter's Way by Gerri Hills (police/drama with badass Hunter being stuck with a beautiful woman as a partner to fight crime)
-The Exile and the Sorceress by Jane Fletcher (part of the Lyremouth Chronicles, fantasy and lesbians. Though the book gets really interesting only halfway through when the Sorceress is finally introduced!)

Each of those stories where very enjoyable to read, and really sweet. Maybe it's just because it's my first time reading actual lesbian novels (never had the occasion before) and so the sweetness for me is multiplied by ten just because I can identify with those characters more than others.

Just came into my mind when I battled Cid, a love triangle! LOL! Since that battle, I think that the only person who's old enough, handsome enough, hot enough and cool enough to date Lightning is Cid Raines. Hope is way too young for Lightning, Snow is Serah's fiancee, Yaag looks to old for her(though I think it should be a love triangle CidxLightningxYaag), Fang is definitely a girl, Dysley's an old man fal'cie, Vanille is best paired with Hope, Sazh has a kid and is also old for her, Nabaat is best paired with Yaag, NO TO NORA and I definitely don't agree with Yuri genre(an insult for women like me). LOL!

I was also too lazy to do a lineart so I just did a sketch...

The Narshe guards have guns. I had seen this FF6 CG movie [link] and saw guns at 1:42. So that's why I thought to give them guns in my comic.

But it doesn't make sense, because if the world of FF6 has firearms already, why are the heroes still using swords and stuff?

I haven't actually finished playing Final Fantasy XIII I don't really even remember how far I got (I don't think it was very far...) But based on what I've already played I think I like all of the main characters (except maybe Snow...)

omg. what am i doing. i'm supposed to be doing my uni take home exams. OTL

but here i am, making yet another plot- when all my other stuffs aren't even halfway finished. i think we're seeing a pattern here, guys.

guh. but anyway- a conversation about pokemon with my classmates had me checking out the anime again- and that had me thinking- and thinking had me making up stuffs- hence this. THIS.

although, technically speaking- when i first made the pokemon-FFXIII series, i immediately thought of a plot of some sorts for them as well, but never had a fixed one. But suddenly last night- i couldn't really sleep and so i came up with this one. It's probably not going to be long, but this is just the start- we'll see where it goes (;

ah- and as always, please tell me what you think of it so far. cyas~

PS : i know in the anime, the pokemons cry out their names and shiz, and it works for some pokemons.. but like- i don't know.
~~i'll probably try and make up some weird sound effects for the pokemons used here and fail miserably but whatevers :'D~~

gah! i'm sorry this looks like crap! I just had this idea but I didn't really give myself time to draw.
Anyway, so Iv'e been playing Final Fantasy 13 lately, and I wanted to draw something related to it... but I also wanted to draw hetalia. So I thought, Lightning's Eidolon... England... Unicorn....... that works! O.O
so this was born! I don't remember why I drew him in his pirate outfit though... I had a good reason, I just forgot.

True story. Our teacher had us reading culture stuff, and there was a paragraph on the exports, etc. of vanilla, which is french is VANILLE! So i was reading it and got really excited >_>... :3
