Doodled this at work. Digitized today. And if you havent heard of Imagine Dragons you should check their BAMF songs out. Currently listening to them.

I had no idea what to draw since this is my first fanart of them. But hey, when in doubt, take their band name in a literal sense. Also, I still suck at drawing dragons so there.
As for the city background I just drew a small portion , colored it & copy & paste. Not bad.

en realidad "Dragons" no es el nombre de este proyecto (está demás decir que no es muy original), pero fue lo primero que me vino a la mente, se trata de una idea en la que estoy trabajando, ya mas adelante pensaré en un nombre más apropiado.

Por cierto los dragones del fondo son algo simbólico, no creo que dragones con cuerpos tan largos me resulten muy prácticos a la hora de emplearlos en la historia

so ..lyssa thought..how..lyssa thinks and wondered if they dress up when they play

Day of the Dragons

I've seen a fair amount of fan material which basically amounts to Spike abandoning Twilight as he gets older, so the premise of this is that, in fact, he comes to visit regularly and even helps out against his own uppity brethren.

The only piece which I wasn't referencing from the shows material was the big "Marysue"-esk shield, I wanted to put in some reference of power for Twilight, who is tiny in comparison, but definitely able to stand on her own even if this kind of magic isn't apparent or actually shown in the show.

I think perhaps the greatest weakness of this picture is that it appears rather flat, which is something I hope to improve on in later works.

Some other thoughts I had:

The library/tree/house that Twilight lives in is incredibly complicated. I think I did a good job representing it, but I took a ton of liberties for the sake of time and perfection. I thought drawing Rarities hair was difficult, but duplicating that one background piece is a monumental task, and anyone dedicated to a 1>1 gets a solid 'A+' in my book, I think mine is probably a 'B-' or something to that effect.

Also, I've never attempted drawing any of the Dragons, so there is a lot of room for practice and accuracy there, but I was happy enough with the results in the end.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the way this turned out, despite all the shortcuts I took and I think its a great study of all of the major elements that go into making just one scene.

So I recently decided to start getting back into other forms of art besides just sculpting. I have always loved drawing with Prismacolor pencils. I found my black paper sketch book and just HAD to color in it. There is something really intriguing to me about colored pencil on black paper. I like working backwards with the colors, and seeing whatever I'm working on slowly brightening against that background. The shadows are so rich and the colors just pop! I know this is just a simple little dragon, but I had so much fun working on him. Been a long time since I've really colored seriously, and it feels good

Heart Dragons - Night

Here's the night version of Heart Dragons I mentioned. ^_^ Got this one out quicker 'cause I already had the main colouring done; just had to make the background. Still, drawing isn't mine (note Neon Dragon logo).
I'm particularly proud of the moon. I love everything about it... the moon itself, the shine around it... the whole thing was an experiment - mainly me messing around - and it turned out perfectly (well, I think so, anyways). I think the stars turned out nicely, too. I took a shortcut on the cloud, though - just stole it from the day version and darkened it - but I guess it worked out well enough.
I think I prefer this one to the day one. The day one looks happy, but this one looks magical, and I like that. Hopefully someone else out there shares those feelings. ^_^ Still Kigo all the way, in my mind... I am totally using this in a story somehow. I will find a way!!!

I wanted to draw it because it's a awesome design and it reminds me of this one dragon I drew a long time ago. (the one on the right)
That dragon was seen in a dream I had one night, it was pretty bizarre it just flew in front of me and disappeared. It's suppose to be stripped but I didn't include it.
I know they don't look exactly alike but the similarities are there.

I did not craft this puppet! All I did was pull the strings.

All art belongs to the amazing and talented , who so graciously allowed me to ~~toy with~~ animate her art. The original cute little storyboard can be found here. Any comments about the artwork should be directed thataway!

I had seen 's storyboard months ago. Not sure why I never favorited it. And then just recently it popped up in one of my groups that I watch! Yays! It pleased me to go and just look at it again. And then I saw *rufftoon's comments that it would work as an animated gif.... and I wondered why nobody had done this yet!

So I asked her if I could do it, and she agreed. Thanks, *rufftoon! What do you think?

Cloud Dragons

Dragons based off of a few different cloud types for the original comic I wanna make someday.

Cumulus Dragon:
These dragons are of very mild temperament and easiest to be trained my humans. They are slow but durable in combat and can utilize wind power at will. Very skilled Cumulus dragons can summon tornadoes but most shoot out puffs out clouds (which are obviously not harmful)

Cirrus Dragon:
Cirrus dragons are noted for their speed. The run faster on land than they fly. They use frost to freeze the ground for them to move even faster by sliding on it as they run. Though they're fast, they lack power in offense.

Like a thumb print, each Cirrus dragon has a unique ice pattern on their wings.

Altocumulus Dragon:
These round, little dragons are pack creatures. Though relatively harmless on their own, when in a large group their combined embers can destroy a forest. They are mostly passive and tend to curl up into a ball when frightened.

Nimbus Dragon:
Nimbus are by far the most aggressive. Though they can be trained and used in battle, Nimbus prefer to be alone and can summon storm clouds and lightning at will. They are strongest in offensive power and are difficult to take down without skill and knowledge.

Heart Dragons

Unfortunately, I cannot claim the drawing; it is property of Neon Dragon (see logo ^_^), and I am merely borrowing her wonderful talent until I cultivate such drawing abilities of my own. No, all I can claim of this picture is the colour and the background, and let me tell you, Photoshop is a wonderful thing.
Considering I'd never done colouring on Photoshop before, I'm rather pleased with how this turned out. The clouds were a horror to do, and I'm still not too happy with the bottom one, but that's okay. I'm working on a nighttime version of this, too, if people like this one enough to care. ^_^
And for anyone who wants to know, the colours are Kigo-inspired, which is why I did it in the first place... even though it doesn't much look Kigo, that was my goal at the time. Maybe I'll write a story with Kim and Shego as dragons for some reason, just to justify this... I sense a crossover coming!!

Yep it's a dragon wearin' a hoodie. This was a sketch I threw some color on. Yes his horns go through holes in the hood and yes his back thingies also have holes. Might use him in a story I'm working on but it's just a fun sketch for now. Enjoy!
