Shes missing her coat, so thats why her outfit looks weird.

QUICK INFO:

Mindfang, Vriskas grandmother, was well known as one of the universes most dangerous outlaw. She lived by killing and pillaging across the galaxy ~~, amassing so much treasure she stashed it on a hidden planet~~. No solar system was safe from her terrifying pirate wrath.

It should be noted one reason she really was a motherfucker is that blood collars allow the government to locate a trolls exact position a any given time. Mindfang never removed hers (since theres only a 40/60 chance of keeping your head and spine intact), yet she evaded them for countless sweeps even though they knew exactly where she was.

After she died, however, her daughter was taken in as a political prisoner. She conceived Vriska while in jail, and thats where Vriska grew up until she joined the army at sweep 6.

(extra: she doesnt have a left ear. That was ripped off by Redglare in a particularly intense duel)

I had this on my mind for the whole night. I got up at 2 a.m. to sketch it and finished it today. At first I wanted to leave it as a pencil sketch but I love colours to much^^

First time I have ever drawn those two. It was a blast and I really like ho it turned out.

Mindfang from Homestuck

Gawd I love this outfit...I wish I could draw it...I feel like it struck the right balance of being costumey and impressive, and also practical. There also seems to be debate whether there is exposure on her chest or not, and I think probably not but I draw what I want.

Anyway...faces. That is my next big personal project, learning to draw faces in a way that I am happy with. Because everything about this face is bizarre, notably the madly disproportionate eyes. I know there are other problems everywhere but that's what I notice most and want to fix most.
