Just wanted to share some of my favorite interior pages. These are from Sonic the Hedgehog #235, published by Archie Comics.

This is totally my favorite issue from last year. Sonic's an action adventure book, and it's pretty rare that the pace slows down as much as it did in this ish. Without having to worry about big action sequences, I got to just focus on environments and atmospheres. And there's alotta' both in this issue. We check in with the happenings of many different characters in this story, and I did my best to set each apart in the color schemes chosen.

In this page, we're with Silver and one of the Echidna Guardians inside a dusty old library.

HOLY JEBUS MONKIES, WE'RE BACK!

As of today, I have successfully graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute! Whoop whoop, no more college for me! To celebrate for all yall, here is the next page of FD! FD IS BACK ON, WHEEEEEOOOO!

However, it may take me a bit to post the next page xD AGAIN, but good news! I'll be buying a new program that's fit for comics much better than photoshop. I'll be using that program from now on, but it may take me a wee bit to get used to. Seeing as FD is my experimental comic, seems fitting that I use it to get used to the program before I make a comic for my portfolio. I do plan on finishing the comic this summer, so no more waiting months on end! YAY!!!! Even with experimenting, don't expect to wait another month, the longest, *hopefully* will be just a week or two. I really want to be able to pump out a page a week, I need to speed things up!

I don't draw these two together nearly enough. They're supposed to be best friends, for cryin' out loud.

Woo it's Summer!! So here you go... an TMNT School!AU on tumblr [link] and well I hopped on the bandwagon! Mikey was such fun to draw. The shirt was originally BOOYAKASHA -> COWABUNGA -> BAZINGA, because well, they're students, so uh, other POP culture reference would be fitting. Besides, i have that shirt uhuhu.

The eye colours are based on my personal preference and I think they actually bring out more of their personality. I LOVE DARK EYED LEOH. Just feels more intense.

Here it is, the first Test Page for Fritty Comics!
This is an actual scene from the Fuzzy Hearts comic that will be appearing much later in the series.

As most of you know, I am still looking for an Inker/Colourist/letterer to help me out with my two comics that I'm launching on FrittyComics.com in the coming months (Fuzzy Hearts & Tale of the Lilith)
The point of this page is for people to test their skills at inking, colouring, and lettering an actual page of the comic so I can see what the comic would look like if I chose to collaborate with that person for the comic. I'm going to post another test page for Tale of the Lilith later, but for now lets just focus on my most popular idea: Fuzzy Hearts!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Just below, I'm going to list below all of my preferences for what I want the comic to look like, how I want it to be inked, how I want it to be coloured, and everything i might want it to be. The first thing you need to understand is that YOU ARE ALLOWED TO COMPLETELY IGNORE ALL OF IT! I'm just trying to give an idea of how I invisioned the comic to look like in case it might help some people. But good inking and good colouring speak for themselves, so you can do the inking and colouring however you want, and you will still have an equal chance at getting on the comic with me

INKS:
I've always envisioned the inking style for fuzzy Hearts to be very loose and brush-like. You'll often find that when I draw the Fuzzy Hearts characters, I leave a lot of stray lines, and often don't connect all the lines in the character (Much like the brushstrokes in Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes"). I have a very styalized way of drawing the characters of Fuzzy Hearts, and I would like the inking to compliment that.

COLOURS:
Fuzzy Hearts is a very simple humour comic, with hints of Slice-of-life, situational, and just plain random humour throughout it. There is of course a fun story to be followed, and a slightly deeper underlying story that will be explored much later in the comic, but these deeper moments are few and far between. The colouring I feel should compliment this. I've always seen the colouring for Fuzzy Hearts as being not much more then flat coloured with a little bit of slight shading here and there. The nighttime scenes of course would call for a little more shading, but for the most part, the colours in the world of Fuzzy Hearts should be bright and happy.

LETTERS:
Here is the text exert for this page of Fuzzy Hearts:
In the pages before, Shady Cat was challenged to get a date with Giftshop (the other cat in the lower four panels). Shady Cat, being the big bundle of pride he is, has readily accepted this challenge and is making his way to Giftshop in the hopes of getting a date, and winning the bet in the next couple seconds.....

Now, I've gotten a few people asking if theres going to be a deadline for when this page should be finished and sent to me so I can decide on a collab partner. I understand that some of you won't see this picture for a little while because you might be away from the computer or on holidays for a while, so technically , no, I don't have a deadline for when you guys complete inking/colouring/etc... this picture. HOWEVER, I would LIKE it if I could have most of the submissions finished in about a week, and I won't be sitting down to choose a collab partner until at least after two weeks have passed by. So if you finish it any time between now and after two weeks have passed, you'll be fine I'm also a lenient guy, so if you want more time then just note me

Also, on one last note, If you can, I would like to see the various stages of you're inking and colouring process. So if you guys could post (or at least link me to) both you're inked version, and you're finished coloured version, then it would be really helpful in deciding on a collab partner since I can see both your inking and colouring separately
