This is my entry for the epic fanfiction contest, and I chose the

Jak and Daxter - series (games for PS2) for my entry.

SYNOPSIS:

One day, Jak and Daxter had returned to Haven City. As they wanted to walk into the "Naughty Ottsel", they were surpised by a group of Precursors (the same creatures as Daxter, also the gods of this world). Being shot down and seeing Daxter being abducted, Jak couldn't save his friend.

After a short recovery time, he decided to save Daxter - and a journey to an unknown place takes its beginning... Questions show up. What happened to the Precursors? Have they been deceived? Why were they after Daxter? The answers are unknown.

One day, Jak and Daxter had returned to Haven City. As they wanted to walk into the "Naughty Ottsel", they were surpised by a group of Precursors (the same creatures as Daxter, also the gods of this world). Being shot down and seeing Daxter being abducted, Jak couldn't save his friend.

After a short recovery time, he decided to save Daxter - and a journey to an unknown place takes its beginning... Questions show up. What happened to the Precursors? Have they been deceived? Why were they after Daxter? The answers are unknown.

<sub>Well. It's finally over. Within one month I've completed this fanfiction and I must say that it was really fun. Spinning the story, inventing new characters... The troubles of finding names and such...
All in all, it was most entertaining to write it.
I tried to make the fanfiction with the least amount of romance, but I felt like I had to put a little reward for Mia at the end... She's survived two whole parts, after all.

Oh, what's behind that comment? Well...
Actually it was planned to kill the sidekick of Jak each time when one part would be over. (=> Zerry died.)
I wanted to do the same to Mia, but then Jak would have been sidekick-less for a whole part! Since Daxter had joined the Precursor Council for his reasons, and I didn't want to let Mia die a mindless death, I decided to let her alive for the rest.

As for the whole fanfiction, my deepest apologies for all the mistakes I've made. I know that there are tons of them - but I hope that you can forgive me since I'm not a native speaker.

Well... Some things about the ending. Actually I wanted to let the finale play in Doon City, crashing it all to crisps, but then the link back to Haven would have been lost. However, I am not satisfied with this ending myself - it seems inconclusive if I think of some hints I've given somewhere in the story and I haven't made use of them anymore. Whatever...

I'm not a fan of the Jak-Kiera-relationship - that's a reason why I've tried to make the least amount of Jak and Kiera together. Well, I've kept the fact that they're boy/girlfriend, but... Yeah. I'm not a fan of it.

Most of you'll see that the first part is the darkest of all; slowly it gets more humorous scenes due to introducing my favorite duo Scar and Rave. Don't ask me why, but I started to like them very much. Actually I planned to let them die as well, but they were just too funny to be killed...

Since this is what I think how the next game should be, I tried to answer questions such as "Is Mar Jak?", but I believe that I epically failed. Also, so many new characters would be... Confusing, I believe.

So. At last I wanted to thank all of you, you who accompanied me through the whole fanfiction, you who read the whole story. I'm happy that some of you have commented from time to time, giving me the spirit to go on no matter what. I bow my head to you.</sub>

Synopsis: In the World of Naruto, all is not well. Time appears to have frozen, repeating the day's weather day-after-day-after-day. People are not aging, crops are not growing, babies are not being born. People are having difficulties sleeping- for when they do, they are plagued with terrible nightmares that cause them to scream with fear. Rumour has it that the solution to the problem lies in a shrine in the Temple of the Moon in the Village of Getsugakure. There's just one problem... no Ninja in living memory has ever set foot in that Hidden Village. On top of all of this, a few other mysterious events are occuring- Bijuu are uniting against the humans, the Summons are rebelling, and... the dead seem to be coming back to life. It's up to Naruto and friends to find this object in the Temple and restore the balance- before it's too late. ]]> I made it! In twenty days (less than, considering I didn't write on at least four of those days~) I have written over 50,000 words! The story is not complete, but I don't mind- I did it! I wrote an incredibly huge amount in a very short space of time, oh yaaaaay~!!! 82 pages, total, so far, I'm hoping to have that doubled by the time the story's finished... which I swear I will do!

Please, if you've been reading the story up to this point, feel free to give me feedback and comments! There are bound to be mistakes- spelling errors, gramatical errors etc.- throughout the whole piece, and if you point them out to me I'll probably be happy to go and correct them..

About this chapter... it's kinda disjointed and I probably should have split the chapters, but I wanted this to be the last chapter, just to clear everything else up.
And... I didn't have the guts to kill Xemnas after all. It's probably for the best, regarding Saïx's sanity. But when I asked people about it, they all told me I should because I need tragedy!!! But I couldn't Makes it unbelievable? :/

Becoming a Spirit Caller really changed my Destiny.

Thanks to Madame Maverick- who we haven’t seen since the day she separated Yugi and I- I was no longer just a body less spirit. I couldn’t move on to the afterlife because I still have eight lives left. I even learned Kirabble, which freaks Yugi out when I speak it t o invisible Kurriboh that tends to appear right by his head. Riley and I have our own house thanks to Kaiba, who felt like he needed to repay us from giving up ourselves to save Domino. That and the fact that Emma pressured him until he broke down. Bakura lives nearby so that he can keep a good eye on Riley. ]]>

Chapter 12 is up! I've tried to include the Keybearers a bit more in this chapter, because I've been ignoring them lately.
Well. Zexion is found. That makes everybody, finally. But now what do I write? D;

EDIT: LOL FAIL with the html. The italics explosion is fixed now.
Chapter 11 is up :3 YEAH with 3,000 words! I couldn't help it when I word counted and had 2,998 words.
So yeah. Vexen doesn't die after all.

Chapter 10! Which has a cliffhanger!!
I'm amazed at how neatly this next bit is actually going to fit into place. Completely by coincidence, of course!
I worked it out, how far I'd get if I kept working at this pace... 49,119 words. DAMN. That's at about 1,600 words per day. But I need to do about 1,700 to finish. So it's not that far off, I guess. I'm hoping to do another chapter tonight, though, and then one per day. That way, hopefully, I'll get way past the 50,000 mark which will compensate for any word count mistakes that I've made (there are quite a few).

“Hey look.” She muttered. “More doors.”
