EDIT: i don't usually do t his but I and a friend are going to take this character and turn it into an online comic strip for our studio. it's an all girl project and i'll be wanting a colourist. if you're interested or know someone who may be, give me a shout out. i would really relly, really, appreciate it. this isn't a paid project, it's a collab and something to showcase the talent of women in comics.

My entry to the DeviantStyle contest.

I wanted to do something totally different from what everyone else was doing and also totally unexpected in the way i mixed a sort of goofy element into what you first preceive to be an almost noir action strip.

I called it Agent 8 'cos there are 8 emoticons.

I love the final product and how it all came out in the end.

This was written for the deviantSTYLE contest.

I adopted the perspective of a sweater, and tried to imagine what it would be like to be delivered. I tried to make it somewhat childlike, with emphasis on the fear and relief. And happiness.

You know me.. I love contests... and I love DeviantArt (who doesn't???) so I just couldn't skip this one! I had to do it!
When I first read the contest's page this idea immediately popped in my mind.. "I can make a miniature DA shop!" and that's what I did!
I wanted to put more stuff in it but then I thought that it would have been tooooo crowded and messy, so I just put my favorites!

The emoticon stress balls, the laptop bag, my lovely fella plushie, stickers on the wall and a shirt (that is not my fav design but I just had to find a coored one to contrast the black wall)

And here it is!
100% polymer clay and paper.. 100% Handmade! (except for the wooden box)

What do you think? Would you shop DeviantWear for your dollhouse? LOL

ok there are three things ya gotta know bout this:
1-got my brown belt in taekwondo last night (yay!) so there was no other option when I saw the "quit work, be a ninja" t-shirt, to do this.
2-used a pic off google for the reference of the ninja(who knew that trying to recreate a silhouette of a ninja could take so long) and the first pic off the page for the t-shirt.

This pic was originally made for my ID, but I think it fits in this contest. I drew it a few weeks ago, but I didn't have time to submit it. I'm so happy I remembered that the contest ends today!!!

Painted with color pencils, but the logo in the T-shirt was just pasted with a photo program I found in a computer at school (not photoshop ).

Just a shot from a recent trip to an abandoned train yard. It's amazing the amount of history an old yard carries. Tried to capture the lost youth and loneliness of the train. If trains can be lonely?

Juggling is awesome, however I have an utter lack of hand eye coordination and would probably kill household members if I attempted to.

Oh pixel artists - I sat here and made little blocks to create that llama barrette. You are so patient, I have no idea how you do it.

The shirt is an official dA shirt from the store. We got a scanned image of the logo and then spent a few hours cutting around it to make a custom brush for the shirt. After the cutting, tweaking, skewing, and then recoloring I think it might have been easier to draw it by hand.

Oh, and all the stickers actually exist in the store - I want them.

... Yes those are dA logo bling earrings.

Okay so i did an entry for the Percy Jackson [link] and now i'm doing one for Rick's other book the Red Pyramid. Here we have Carter and Sadie Kane in their DevinatART gear along with Bast, Anubis and Zia. NOw the only thing here is that i was going to include Thoth but i got tried on the computer and decided not to put him in. Behid them are the 4 symbols Eye of Horus, Thyth of Isis, the Instrument of Bast and the Weapons of Anubis (given the fact that i forgot the symbols of Bast and Anubis, at least their proper names)

Took me a while to create that scene, because I had to pin the emotes together and try to balance the "towers" somehow. Wasn't easy.
And sorry for the crappy background. It was that or the top of my washing machine and fake tiles on the wall.
(The reflections are real, though. No manipulation there.)
