[Piggy] Icon Base Set

I'm asked quite a lot whether I do icon commissions but unfortunately I don't have the time to do so. I always feel bad when I say no to people so I thought I'd make this to help you out.

This set has a total of 32 different parts that you can mix and match to create your own base. Once you've put together the body and face you can then add clothes, hair and accessories to create your own pixel characters. Your creations can be used as page decorations, avatars or in stamps.

Please feel free to link to your creations in the comments. I'd love to see what you make ♥

HOW TO USE

1) Download the .PSD from the link on the right of the page. Each different option is on its own layer so you can show/hide layers for easy customization. OR
2) Save the image above and then open it in your image editing software. You can copy/paste the desired options to build up your character. Crop any unwanted areas of the image.

Anyway

This is another spin-off that I thought of a long time ago, but then I revised it
because it was dumb

So, this is 18 year-old Master Trent and 21 year-old Servant Kuro _{_{I dunno why but I like age differences it's just ahhh}}

_{_{_{Story-
The setting is like.. early 1900s?
Trent is a rich boy and one of his servants quit 8 years ago so they had to get a new one by putting ads on newspapers and everything else. Kuro saw the ads and it said that you would paid a lot of money(haven't thought of how much yet LOL) and Kuro decided "YEEEAAH BABEH" and went to Trent's little mansion. And when he was conversing with Trent's father, he decided to choose Kuro because he was nice and liable, even though he basically lied. So when Kuro went to work, Trent was skeptical and shy and didn't really bother to talk to him at all. And Kuro was all "I HAVE TO DO ALL THIS SHIT?! I JUST WANNA GET PAID." and when he did all those things, he did it lazily and sluggishly. Then about a year or so, he had to listen to every order Trent made, though he didn't make much demands because he was still shy and nervous. Kuro got a bit ticked off because he just wanted money for the chores, but Trent didn't want to do anything yet. And then 2 years later, Trent finally got out his shell and started talking to him, but they were just small orders. Then 1 year later, Trent talked a lot more, and Kuro was happy and did every order he was asked to do and when he did, he forgot about being paid. Even though Kuro was nervous because he was told to: Give Trent a bath every night, Do his hair, Make him dinner, Tuck him in when he goes to sleep, Clothe him, and Listen to his songs when he plays his piano. At first he was terrible at these things but as he grew up, he got better and better. A years later, he became calm and very sweet towards Trent and did everything he was ordered to do and then Trent was really happy, though he was nervous about something else. He was arguing to himself that he likes Kuro, but then he shouldn't. THEN 3 YEARS PAST and Kuro is EVEN MORE calm and sweet and Trent couldn't take it because his stomach was full of the melt from his heart. And during that year, Kuro did the orders he was given from the start, but he would always give Trent a little sweet peck on the cheek or nose, even though he didn't do it before, and he was never told to. It's not like he knew Trent liked him, he just did it because he wanted Trent to feel loved and treasured. At first Trent was all "screaming internally omfg he kissed me omfg i can't--dead" but afterwards he loved the kisses and giggled every time Kuro did it and Kuro smiled happily. But every night after getting tucked in, Trent would fangirl over Kuro and just think of him, sweetly and.. suggestively (he just wanted him so badly okay)
When he thinking out loud, MAID VIRGINIA opened his door quietly because she thought Trent was asleep. That and also she had to polish Trent's shoes so she was going to return them but as she opened the door, she decided to just peek at what Trent was talking about, hearing all of this "Oh Kuro, I can't love you, it'll be wrong and stupid even though I loved you 3 years ago, I just.. I can't take it anymore.." She was surprised, though she knew somehow that this would happen because they were so close; after that, she decided to tell the other Servant JASON what she saw and heard and Jason was all "Yeah yeah I know Kuro's been talking about him every second so I'm pretty sure they'd do something by now"
(I haven't thought of this part but it just skips to fluff.. and then it turns to smut)}}}

so yeah

Dhonia Darick in Irthala Armour - Pixel Art

I solemnly swear I will NEVER EVER make such a humongous pixel art character again!
This deviation took me, on and off, two months to complete, mostly because I could not get myself to make that darn CAPE! Whenever I saw it I said: "No... not the bloody cape! How much longer!?"
My eyes hurt. My head hurts. My hand is numb and it sores whenever I pick up my pen. It was a nightmare to finish this pixel! Smite me dead if I will ever make a character this big with a cape... no more capes... please

About the pixel art

The urge to do this pixel art sparked around the 21st of February... (Hey! Elril's birthday ) shortly before our own birthday (mine and my twin sister's Nicko - she got mad I didn't mention her too >.>) on the 27th, but unlike the drawing I actually started on that day: "Do you blush because of me? - Dhonia and Elril" this deviation did not get completed.
Supported by my exam period and with an extended time of fatigue and slump afterwards, I barely got Dhonia finished. It was a pain to get myself to finish her... I left the cape for last... and left it for last for the past week

Here you have Dhonia Darick, my novel's main protagonist in sort of a "warrior princess" type of stance and clothing. - Yes, I do love Xena :3 - In "Lake of the 40 Towers" she and her brother, Brunar are in a fortress that is surrounded by enemies and Brunar has the determination to help the assaulted kin, the irthala, by fighting with them. Dhonia wishes to join in the battle as well, even if there are some who try to dismay her thoughts and say it is too dangerous. This is how she looks like in full gear
The armour set seems familiar because I have drawn it before in "Charge of the Lightwielder". Unlike video game armour which models itself around a woman's body, often exposing her belly or chest, in the world of "Lake" armour is armour and it will remain standard for both genders. Full body armour it is. I chose to leave aside the helmet in this piece as well... but maybe I could make a pixel art of it and add it later under her cape, in the corner, oh well.
Also I realize that there is a slight length difference regarding her hands - one is longer and the other shorter and the plate pieces that look like flower buds are of different lengths - and the fact that the cape's shading looks strange, but I dun care! I am not going back to changing it! That's it for this deviation! Leave it rest!

Time spent: 2 months on and off, hours: ???? more than 80 h, I can tell you that for sure.
Colours: 151 colours in total. They're not that much to be quite honest.
Technique: Simple shading combined with dittering in large areas
100% Original - Baseless and done from Imagination
Program used: Adobe Photoshop CS2 (yey, I have a new program )

I hope you gents like this pixel art and thank you for taking the time to take a look. If it wasn't for you guys, I probably wouldn't have done anything in the current condition I'm still in

Haven't been able to do art in forever but finally got to pixel something. With all the buzz about the new Sailor Moon remake that is probably delayed until 2014, I couldn't help but revisit my characters. Hopefully this is the last redesign EVER of previously-named Sailor Imber (formerly Sailor Neried)... a character that is over a decade old.

Sailor Amaltheia, soldier of storms - one of the Orphan Senshi, soldiers once known as the Arcadiades, whose system lost the ability to sustain life. This is her stage 1 planet-power fuku. Her little friend is Guardian Soma from planet Mermaid, who has taken the form of a skyborn betta from Galateia's homeworld.

Medieval pirates, I guess xD There is even a story for it, hah. After lots of troubles they joined pirates, because it was the only way they could stay alive in medieval. Well, ya know, people back then would make it troublesome for Kurt, and pirates were more lanient to his uniqueness. And Fallen didn't have to care so much about wearing dresses, because on the ship - no one cares. And her clothes here are in bad state because she and Kurt got in trouble just before meeting pirates, and for they had male clothes, they had nothing for females. All they had were shoes that Fallen is puting on... I'm sleepy, sorry if I sound 'drunk'. Long story short: they found themselfs long time in the past and joined pirates for sake of peace. xD
It doesn't sound logic here, but trust me that in the story it is logic.
