Ring colors and font style/colors can be easily changed to fit any theme. Just go to edit skin and look for the fonts and color codes. Just in case there are any people new to this like I am.

Control Winamp from your desktop

Skin for rainmeter, should work on Windows XP, Vista and 7. The track numbers will be 'substituted', if you still see track numbers, you can do the following:

Open Winamp, press Ctrl + P, uncheck 'Show track number in windows taskbar', now it should be working fine.

All buttons are locked by default so you cant click them by accident. Click the unlock button to remove the overlay and enable them.

You can easily configure the Speedfan index and name for the temperature by editing the variables. Follow the fail-safe instructions of the ;-ed parts in the script.

- New gadget: Weather radar map: Showing the latest weather.com radar pictures of your desired location. Uses color-matrix and an overlay to fit the theme. To display your location edit the skin and past the link to your map under the URL= variable.

This time I was aiming for a much more complete configuration, and a sleeker look. Simplesentence is designed to be unique from any other available skins, while still remaining easily customisable so that it can be integrated into a multitude of different desktops and themes.

Soita is the official example skin for the NowPlaying plugin for Rainmeter, which supports a bunch of media players.

Rainmeter 2.3 beta r1448 (or higher) is required to install this skin. Download it from rainmeter.net.

Usage instructions:
After installing, right-click here and select 'Edit Skin'.
Then, the [mPlayer] section, change the PlayerName= value to your player.
After saving the file, right-click on the skin and select 'Refresh Skin'. Done!

You can also suggest this skin as a SOTM (skin of the month) at the #Rainmeter Group, although the Topbar has already been suggested!

Finally it's here. The complete Tabmeter2-Suite with all its tabs.

The config-tool is pretty self-explaining, so I guess there shouldn't be a big problem using it. Anyways, if you got any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

A little tip btw: you can open the config-tool by simply middle-clicking any skin of Tabmeter2

LoveKush is what I called a Rainmeter skin I wrote for myself whilst trying to clean up my desktop.
My roommate saw the skin and asked what it was called and who made it: I told him it's called LoveKush,
he laughed and asked if I was serious. For those of you who don't get it: ..really? - He tested the
skin for me and soon after I released a screenshot here on dA. I got some good feedback and after a little bit
more testing I released the skin. I abandoned the project long ago. I had great things in mind for LoveKush
but it got pushed aside for other projects. When I saw it's one of the 100 most popular Rainmeter skins of all
time on deviantART I decided to re-touch it and hopefully make it worthwhile having installed.

Features:
- Customizeable "taskbar" or "objectbar" for Rainmeter.
- Standalone clock skin with similar design as the taskbar.
- Standalone Spotify control skin which fits on the actual bar.
- Standalone Winamp control skin similar to the Spotify one.
- Standalone Gmail Notifier, displaying how many new mails you've got.
- A "menubar" with some graphics and extra shortcuts.
- Drop shadow effect beneath the bar, looks good on dark wallpapers.

Day July 9, 2009. Weather is the problem solved. What has happened is that weather.com have replaced the "xoap" to "xml". To solve the configuration of Rainmeter must be changed "xoap" to "xml" in the link. For example:

Go to this page [link] , in the top table, that says "Enter ZIP or US / world city", write your city and press "Search". In the new page, copy the code of your location that contains the link, has 8 figures, for example SPXX0050.

where it says "your_code" (this is the link that I use for my location, it works correctly). Copy the entire link (with your code introducedand remove spaces of "h t t p") and paste it in the .INI file (search for your_url).

In theory it has to work. Check the time it shows in the computer with time on the street for a few days. If not comment in here.

Modify menu (software)

Let me give an example of how to change a shortcut.

I want to change the Foobar to Winamp, I open the file menu.ini that is located inside the folder menu. It contains several functions, but the that interest me are the last two, called [MeterFoobar1.txt] and [MeterFoobar2.txt], the function [MeterFoobar1.txt] corresponds to the "Music" and the corresponds [MeterFoobar2.txt] to "Foobar".

Within the two functions, have a property called "Prefix", this property is the name shown. In the first function is "Music" and in the second is "Foobar", this change is for "Winamp". For example:

>> Prefix="Winamp"

I have the name changed, now I need to change the route. There is a property called "LeftMouseDownAction", gives the option to run. Just need to change the route of "Foobar" to "Winamp" in the two functions. For example:

>> LeftMouseDownAction=!Execute ["C:\Archivos de programa\winamp\winamp.exe"]

Rainmeter 2.3 RC or higher is required. Get it from rainmeter.net.

* Fixed: 0% transparency wasn't selectable in Settings skin
* Fixed: Gcal issues (hopefully)
* Fixed: Recycle Bin/Gmail icons did were static regardless of trash/mail condition

Day July 9, 2009. Weather is the problem solved. What has happened is that weather.com have replaced the "xoap" to "xml". To solve the configuration of Rainmeter must be changed "xoap" to "xml" in the link. For example:

for

h t t p://xml.weather.com/weather/local/SPXX0050?cc=*&unit=m&dayf=6

Remove spaces of "h t t p"

Transbar is a bar to the desktop, it shows weather, clock, date, drive, memory, swap, cpu, music played in Winamp and three shortcuts (Firefox, Miranda IM and Winamp).

It's totally free, you can edit the file .ini and .psd.

Contains four bars for up and bottom, whit different sizes of 1280px and 1680px.

Configuration Weather

There have been people who have asked me about configuring Weather, though the file contains instructions. Here I will explain it further.

Go to this page [link] , in the top table, that says "Enter ZIP or US / world city", write your city and press "Search". In the new page, copy the code of your location that contains the link, has 8 figures, for example SPXX0050.

Then paste your code at this link

h t t p://xml.weather.com/weather/local/your_code?cc=*&unit=m&dayf=6

where it says "your_code" (this is the link that I use for my location, it works correctly). Copy the entire link (with your code introduced and remove spaces of "h t t p") and paste it in the .INI file.

In theory it has to work. Check the time it shows in the computer with time on the street for a few days. If not comment here.

This Rainmeter skin is made to control
Winamp and display song title. Maybe
I am lazy, maybe I am not for not doing
any graphics for this, just plain codes.
Mostly it is to keep this clean.

However, I have inlayd some very nice features!

Instructions
First of all, You have to download and install Rainmeter ([link]).
Then unzip the skin to Rainmeter's Skin directory, launch Rainmeter and via right-click on it's tray icon, select [i]Configs>io>...[/i]. Ofcourse you need to play Winamp. Not yet WMP, unfortunately...

Hello there!
I'm very glad to present you my first attempt at a full skin design for Rainmeter!
I started this because I needed a home screen for my entertainment center, and decided that, instead of frankensteining other skins, I'd use them as inspiration to create my own!

The concept of a circular skin must be given to ~Bazerka, who was the first one I know of to make a full circular skin!

Ideas for enhancements are always welcome!

How to install

You just have to have the latest Rainmeter version and double click the file you download from here (Circlops.rmskin) =]

To get your Weather Code, go to [link] and search for your location, then click on the RSS link on the top right of the page, just below the search bar.
If done right, you will then be redirected to an URL which should end like forecastrss?p=########&u=f, where "########" is your Weather code.

The default full-panneled layout;
Detachable layout pannels (if you wish to use them individually);

SuperBar 1.0 is finally here! With an extra .2 added all for you sake.
If you haven't already done so please download the newest version of Rainmeter, 1.3, from rainmeter.net before you install this suite, you will not be able to install it on older versions.

With SuperBar you have everything you need I one neat, nice looking, minimalistic and easily customizable bar at the top of you screen.

3) Click on Via RSS
4) A new page will open. Copy the address of that page and enter it into the Gnometer Configuration Tool.
Twitter:
1) Go to Supertweet.net
2) Click the "Sign in with Twitter" button
3) Click the button that says "Allow"
4) Look for status, it will say inactive. Click the link next to it that says "Activate" and choose a password.
5) Now input your Twitter username and the password you chose at supertweet into the Twitter items configurator and your done.

--Tips & Tricks
-Customized the SuperBar by clicking the gear on the right side of the bar.
-Customized DropDowns for Items such as Apps, Gmail and Facebook by opening the DropDown (Click the Item on the bar) and click the gear in the bottom right corner of the DropDown
-Some Items has special actions when their icon is right or middle clicked, for example, right-clicking the Media Controllers will open the player for that control and a middle click will cycle trough the controllers (iTunes, Winamp, WMP), this also applies to the clock which will switch between 24h and 12h format.
-Some Items display more info in a tooltip if you hover the mouse over their icon, for example the media controllers will show song info and the battery monitor will give more detailed information.
-Click the battery monitors icon to get access windows power plans
-Click the wifi monitor to open the network and sharing center

My First Rainmeter Desktop: Console

My first try at a Rainmeter Desktop. I liked the layout because it felt like I was sitting at a spaceship's control console.

Nothing in it is my creation, but I included all the Rainmeter skins I used to make it and the background is an animated background of a slowly flowing strand of colors. When combined with the skins, it looks and feels very cool.

This is a media player created for rainmeter and based off of Vinyl Scratch / DJ P0N-3 from MLP:FiM.

This skin has only been tested with Windows Media Player and Winamp, but it should work with other media players like iTunes.

On default the skin is set to Winamp but to change it, right-click the skin -> Edit Skin and then under [Variables] change the "Player=" variable.

Updated version of my original iTunes Player skin ([link])

Skin for rainmeter, should work on Windows XP, Vista and 7.

On mouse-over, current track time and volume control will be displayed. Also, the album art is larger than the original skin. You can still choose either to display art or not.

Update:
CPU usage of 50% was caused by "update=1". Now Fixed.

Update 2:
Changed the 'bg.png', now the skin looks a little more stylish when there is no album art available. Check the preview

Animated Bridge of the Peacekeeper Halcyon

This desktop is set up in a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Change Log v1.1: Added Silver-Beast media player. Was a perfect fit for this theme! Thanks SB!

I found a few nice skins and just had to show them off! This desktop is FULLY ANIMATED! You really have to see it to appreciate it. It has two moving "Glados Despierta", from Portal 2, at the top that are awesome. They sway back and forth. One large. One Medium. The drives are modded by me and are now in four colors with multiple drives. Most panels move or flash in some way.

Packaging requests will not be honored you will have to download them from the links provided here.

This desktop has modded Rainmeter skins. All skins should work. I recommend that you download the complete packages of the skins used because they had to be thinned down considerably because of the file size. If you have difficulty with any one skin just download that skin from the link provided. Credit goes out to all the original designers for their hard work.

Originally those skins are Byte Controller skins!!

Rainmeter 2.1 beta r816 is required to install those skins, cause you must have: NowPlaying.dll installed!!

Only requires a one line change to switch between players, if you will use it with your WMP: you have nothing to do!!
For other players: in [variables] just replace WMP by your mediaplayer: see this page ( supported players)

It works with: AIMP, foobar2000, iTunes, Winamp, or WMP

My skins are totally interactive with the player, so the icons changes with the player functions!!
And so: it's totally like Byte Controller!!

Monsoon Inspired Desktop Using Rainmeter. A bunch of stuff put together for my desktop, this is my first attempt. Do lemme know in the comments as to what you feel thank you.

Important: I do not own any of the above skins. I just put them together to get this simple desktop of mine. The rights are reserved to their respective owners.

I saw this wallpaper earlier today and thought it'd be perfect for a Rainmeter skin background, so here's a new skin. System stats, launcher bar, volume control, uptime, weather, wireless and winamp control all included.

Wallpaper, icons and fonts are also included in the download.

Icons used (on the skin, not the taskbar) are from Devine - [link] and a recycle bin from the Token set.

You will need to install NirCmd for the volume control to work.

I looked at the artist's site for the wallpaper and couldn't find a download for it there, but there is a ton of cool stuff to be seen there - [link]

EDIT: Arggh, I knew I'd forgotten to include something. I've just added date + time configs.
By default, the time config is set to 24hr. To change that, place semi-colons in front of the lines for the [MeterTime24] section and remove the semi-colons in front of the [MeterTime12] and [MeterAMPM] sections.

Simple rainmeter theme, containing:

-Winamp player

-Customizable Dock for Apps, Folders and Weblinks

Instructions:
-Download the rmskin package and then double click on it, allow rainmeter to install
-Go to your skins folder, usually C:\Users\_YourUsername_\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins
-Go the the Folder titled Sea
-Click on config.exe
-Configure the skin
-To open any widget, simply right-click on the rainmeter icon in your windows taskbar, go to Skins>Sea and select the widget you want

Finally ! after a lot of work i can finally say this is good enough to be released, well, i think xD

First of all, the wallpaper is not made by me, the wallpaper can be found here [link] and its made by casperium , thanks casperium for making such amazing wallpapers so, if you like it, go download it and add it to faves and comment guys.

The configurator is a mod of the awesome fediaFedias configurator applet found here [link]

PRIMUS is a theme based on metroid primes HUD.

The theme includes:

Memory Meter (the one bar in the upper part).
CPU Meter (that circle one in the left).
Hard disk meter with launcher (wich you can multiply if you want more than one).
Media Player Controls for VLC, Winamp and iTunes.
Shortcuts to browser, messaging,mail,image soft, and media player.
Folder launchers.
Media Player Info skin for VLC, Winamp and iTunes.
Date,Clock and Weather, each on its own skin.
Configurator for a relatively easy set up of the thing

The theme resizes itself based on your screen resolution, its been tested on 16:9, 16:10, 4:3 and seems to work fine on 5:4 (1280x1024) too.

The media player controls are made for VLC, so you need to configure VLC to use them or they will throw a nasty error message, you can find out how to do it here [link] .

You can duplicate the drives and folders an mod them to have as many as you need.

The skin finally has full support for winamp and itunes, the itunes one works exactly the same as the vlc one, you just need to change the variant of the left skin, and go into RainBrowser to change the variants of the Media_info skin to the itunes ones, for the winamp one, the only media info used is the track, because i wasnt able to find a way to split it into track, artist and album, ill keep trying tho, but for the moment, it looks pretty alright the way it is...

Edit 1. The Winamp mode also works for Media Monkey.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy it, any bugs or advice, leave me a comment...

There were some issues with the drive skin and some other things, so i fixed them and now its working nice, also, yestedray i forgot to reset the color to the original blue and i packed it white, well, it is blue again .

Well, i worked a little in the resolution issues, now the left and right sides of the hud have 3 variants, 16:9, 16:10, and 4:3, so its compatible with almost every resolution out there, i also fixed some issues with the size of the drive and the folder skins, in 16:10 they resized the wrong way, well thats fixed now and they resize as they have to.....

Anyways, i would love some feedback on the 4:3 variant, as i dont have any 4:3 monitor to test it myself, and of course, if something its wrong or missplaced or you find some issue with the skins, let me know in the comments so i can fix it and make this as good as it can be.....
