Top 10 Characters I Hate But Everyone Loves

Since my Top list of Most Hated Characters or Lamest Villains memes, I decided to do a top 10 list of characters I hate, but everybody else loves.
And fellow DeviantARTists, please try not to take this list personally. This is all just based on opinions.

#10.) Dr. Animo (Ben 10 Franchise): I get that this is not a super villain to be taken seriously, but I find him more annoying than funny. I mean the Joker is more funnier than this clown. So to me, this guy is not a very entertaining Ben 10 villain. "I Dr. Animo, will--" (gets gunned down by me)

#9.) Slimer (The Real Ghostbusters): Okay, I admit that I liked the cartoon adaptation of one of my favorite movies, but I don't like the fact that they made Slimer the Ghostbusters ally/pet. I mean sure, I respect the Beetlejuice cartoon, but I have little to no respect for this show. And the animated Slimer is definitely one of them. Like Dr. Animo, I find him a little annoying too and I find him funnier as one of the Ghostbusters' greatest enemies to the entire franchise. I don't even like it continues on in Extreme Ghostbusters, or the Slimer cartoons that came out in the late 80's. Sure I like that 90's show, despite its other flaws, but sorry, spud, you don't make a good hero.

#8.) Young Ben and Gwen (Ben 10) Yeah, I've that before in my Top 10 list of Most Hated pairings, so I'll say it again. These kids are just whiny, obnoxious and annoying little brats who argue and fight not only the villains, but each other. I also hate how some fans pair them together as a romantic couple. I mean that's just sick! They're not Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, for crying out loud! So to some this up, I prefer them as a better team in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien.

#7.) Peter Venkman (The Real Ghostbusters) I respect Bill Murray's character in the movie, but not in the cartoon. Well, it's not just the fact that the creators of that series didn't have the rights to make him and the other Ghostbusters look like the cast in the film. It's the fact that they have all gone completely out of character. But Venkman's character in this takes the cake. Well he started out in the series as being obnoxious and abusive to Slimer (Can't believe I felt sorry for the little spud). Plus he's even lazier and spoiled than Murray's character. That just sickens me. Later on, he is replaced by some new voice actor and his character just becomes a little nicer, but a little retarted. So I will say this, this first Venkman voice actor was a better Garfield than Murray.

#6.) Duncan (Total Drama Series) I don't hate him as much as Heather, Courtney or Alejandro, but I despise the fact that he picks on Harold and other nerdy characters in the show. I mean am I the only one who feels offended by this. The most aggravating times I find him annoying is when in almost every episode of Total Drama Action where his torture for Harold gets even worse and worse. Until he finally gets what's coming to him in a few episodes before the season's finale. But here's the worst part of it, he stole Gwen from Trent! That's right! I mean have the writers lost heir minds?! Trent and Gwen were meant to be together from the start of the series, why would the writers change the pairings? It doesn't make any sense at all! I get that they got tired of the Duncan and Courtney pairing, but come on, that juvenile a## doesn't deserve one of the hottest Goth chicks ever created. So sorry Duncan fans, he's just not my favorite.

#5.) Commodore James Norrington (Pirates of the Caribbean) As I've said in my Top 10 list of most hated characters, The big jerk who tried to kill Jack because he hated pirates, became one in the second film, then handed Becket the heart of Davy Jones which caused a lot of problems for Elizabeth whom he always dreamed of marrying. On the bright side, he died saving her life in the middle of the third film, At World's End. I don't care if he was just trying to kill Sparrow because that's his job, no one messes with the best pirate I've ever seen.

#4.) Heath Ledger's Joker (The Dark Knight) Not to offend any of you Heath Ledger fans, but I don't like this guy's performance of the Joker, or Nolan's take of this character. Unlike the original version, this Joker is just a serious crazy guy in messy clown make-up. Whereas the Joker in the original version he fell into a vat of chemicals which twisted his mind and permanently got his skin bleached. The weapons he carries in the movie are basically, guns, knives bombs and even a bazooka blaster. I liked it better when he had the classic Joker weapons, such as the super-charged joy buzzer, acid filled squirt flowers, and deadly laughing gas. Now that sounds like a twisted clown doesn't it? Also what bugs me the most, is that Ledger's Joker wasn't even funny. I know he wasn't meant to be funny, but why would we call him the Joker if he doesn't ell any jokes? So to sum this up, I prefer Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill's performance of the Clown Prince of Crime. At least they could play it both scary and funny at the same time.

#3.) Brom Bones (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow) In most versions, he appears as the bully of the story, who still manages to get the girl in the end. I understand that Ichabod was after Katrina's fortune, but I prefer the Tim Burton version, where Brom gets just what's coming to him when being confronted by the Headless Horseman.

#2.) Frollo (Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame) I know I'm going to get crucified by several Disney fans for this, but I'm just not a fan of this version of The Hunchback. Mostly because of the fact that Quasimodo doesn't get the girl and the fact that it's too depressing even for a Disney cartoon. But I despise Frollo the most of all. I respect Maleficent, Hook, Cruella Deville and Jafar, but I have no respect for this perverted, gruesome, abusive, old f@gg*t. The only good thing I like about him, is that he DIES!!!!!!! I don't care that he's a good singer or that there are a lot of women who are dying to get themselves hooked up to him, he still remains today as one of my most least favorite Disney villains.

#.1) Angelica (Rugrats) Well I understand that she has her good bits, but I still don't like this little spoiled b@tchy brat. I hate how she torments the babies and all. So It really bothers me that they make toys out of her. She is still annoying and deserves to be grounded for the rest of her life.

This one is pretty simple, I loved the new Superman movie so I made a wallpaper of it. I combined shots of Superman, the new shield, the movie's logo, and the atmosphere shot i used in my Supergirl wallpapers. I then recolored the suit to make the colors more vibrant. GO SEE THIS MOVIE IT KICKS MAJOR ASS!!

I recently went and watched The Purge with a few friends, and fell in love with the scene from the front door security cameras.

So, being the dork that I am, I decided to add my own twist to it by adding a sort of grainy/bloody effect to the image through photo manipulation, and added in the details to make it look like a real security camera recording.

The date is an actual date in 2022. It's Friday the 13th in May of 2022, however, since I can't remember the exact time this event took place in the movie, I used a time shortly after the Purge began in the movie (12:00 am/midnight) as it wasn't too long after the Purge initially began that this scene took place.

The first quote, "Come on Mr. Sandin, we just want to play" is a quote I made myself, the second however, is an actual quote from the movie.

All work was done in GIMP 2.
The image is a direct picture from the movie, I simply edited it to look the way it does. However, if you would like to use it as a desktop or for other purposes, please credit the rightful owners of The Purge.

Credits to ~Xenophoria for the concept. I used the same elements he did, but tweaked it a bit, the main reason why I even did this (totally out of character for me) is the battle axe effect just wasn't right for me, I felt it too should have a disturbed look. I was really satisfied with the outcome and felt maybe others felt the same way I did. Anyways, here it is. Enjoy.
