My first scene with two suns. I have been having this idea in mind for weeks now. A photo some days ago forced me to finally try it. Of course main influence comes from Star Wars where I first saw two suns in a scene. Several wallpaper are available for download and personal usage. Some images from cgtextures.com have been used. Tau Ceti f is an unconfirmed planet that may be orbiting the nearby Sun-like star Tau Ceti 11.905 light years from the Sun. It is the fifth planet from Tau Ceti in its system - the outermost planet of the system discovered as of 2012.

It is notable due to its predicted habitability and Earth-like properties, with an Earth Similarity Index of 0.71 and an orbit that places it in Tau Ceti's extended habitable zone.

It orbits Tau Ceti at a distance of 1.35 AU (near Mars' orbit in our Solar System) with an orbital period of 642 days and has a minimum mass of 6.6 Earth masses which classifies it as a super-Earth.

Assuming that Tau Ceti f is a terrestrial planet, it would likely be at least 2.3 times larger in size than the Earth. If its atmosphere were Earth-like atmosphere, the surface temperature would be of −40°C (233 K). If it had a denser atmosphere able to produce a strong greenhouse effect it could have a much higher temperature, between 0°C and 50°C, enough for complex life to exist.

The planet was discovered by scientists at University of Geneva, Switzerland, led by Swiss astronomer Stéphane Udry of the Guaranteed Time Observations (GTO) program of High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher (HARPS), a high-precision echelle spectrograph installed on ESO's 3.6 m telescope at La Silla Observatory in Chile. The team used the Doppler spectroscopy technique which determines the minimum mass of the planet through slight changes in motion of the parent star. It was discovered on August 17, 2011.

Reaching Gliese 370 b at the current record spacecraft speed, the Helios Probes (247,517 km/hour | 153,800 mi/hour), it would take approximately 156,971 years.
