its been a while since i have gone out of my realm and photo manipulated someone elses photo. i very rarely do it, the last one of these i did was Revenge ([link]) and that was well over 3 years ago.

when i saw the original photo i just realized the potential of it as a manipulation and wanted to give it an abstract edge without taking away the original beauty.

Another alien biotope. I enjoyed creating these alien plants. Some of them are huge balls filled with some gas which makes them light and lets them float in the air. When they are old enough and the wind gets strong, the ribbons snap and the wind carries them across the planet. That is the way they multiply.

There are lots of details in this image which get lost in this resolution. Here are some of them:

Story

Year 2098,... just 6 years ago, humans shunned rocket science and started searching for alternative means of 'trans/tele-portation' and we already have been travelling to the ...stars!
An earth like planet was discovered in starsystem 192axm-34s in the galaxy m-249's 6th arm.( Full space-coordinates yet to be released by the explorers ). It looks like a seemingly habitable place. Oxygen concentrations similar to a pre-industrial era earth atmosphere... Microbiolgical assessment reports awaited before colonisation.

Making
Vue5, PS7 and lot of rendering time and lots of patience from my side (in not cancelling this mega render 4500x3375 render while in its lengthy process!)

It was a huge amount of work to produce pieces, to adjust them, airbrsuhing details blah blah blah but really pleasing when each layer you add you look and say weeeeeeeee cool hehe . I think i love photo manips really

A redux of an earlier piece of mine - "Spinal Implant". I thought that it would do very well represented in this context. Some colour alteration, and use of GIMP to get the spine looking as it should, then a Cardassian font.

And there you have it. An analysis of a piece of alien technlogy... not by humans. A spinal implant, designed by a race unknown to us. Could even be Borg

i painted my whole face but you know how much i love close ups! can you see the little stars?
The eyelashes are made by me from peacock feathers, one by one and sticked with glue.
Took me about 2,5 hours for the makeup and 1,5 hour for the photoshoot

The Secret Green Cove

There is this unknown planet on the outer fringes of our galaxy, far more peripheral than sun in relation to the center of the galaxy.
No space explorer had assumed there would be a planet in such a thin region of space. An explorer's ship's navigational system failed and he was aimlessly wandering around the galaxy. Then , suddenly the light sensors in his ship noticed strange pulsatile light emitting structures on a planet. With difficulty, the explorer moved towards the source, where he noticed a planet , bustling with life, he had just discovered a civilised alien race. The aliens were hospitable and could commmunicate with the explorer by gestures and telepathy. They explained to him that light houses were built on that planet here and there not to guide ships in the ocean, but to guide flying machines.

The aliens had not yet discovered RADAR and other navigational tools, so , inspite of having advances space ships, the aliens were using lighthouses for guidance.

The explorer remained on the planet and then, showed a star map and location of earth and also exchanged some technology. The aliens got technology from the explorer, in return , the aliens came to earth and gave a genius solution to all strife on earth.
They will scare us to stay silent or else they will nuke us
that scare will make us stop fighting amongst ourselves
