Dragonfly Wallpaper

This is my first attempt to make a wallpaper (although I do often use my photos as they are for my own wallpaper). A friend requested I use this dragonfly out of my stock gallery and try to make a wallpaper for him with some cyan in it (his favorite color), so I gave it a shot.

Let me know what you think- I appreciate any comments or advice I can get.

April's butterflies

April is when the surge of colorful flowers and butterflies begins followed by an explosion in multitudes of a variety of flowers and butterflies in May and June and July.

That is if the cell phone waves don't put an end to that. [link] and [link]

I think bees happen to be the most vulnerable insects affected but what is next? Perhaps butterflies use a similar navigation system as bees. (ie: Monarch butterflies' navigation for their annual migration from Canada to Mexico). I know that dragonflies use a system to balance and steady themselves too.

Cell phones maybe necessary communication devices but next time anyone does mindless and unnecessary things like downloading movies to their cell phones, (pushed on us by the big cell phone corporations' advertising) please remember, your little pleasures are killing bees and who knows what other insects or parts of the nature! Even minimal use of cell phones may not help any more since antenas and relay towers are built everywhere and in full function. We (as in earth inhabitants, human or else) may already be doomed!

This is the sad result of too much music, too little caffeine, dark chocolate almond milk, artist's block, and boredom. I really don't like this, but I put it here for critiques. And to submit to MANIP-YOUR-MUSIC.

This is based on the song Satellite by Rise Against from the album Endgame (yes I had this song on repeat the entire time I made this. It may not sound like the song to some, but it's my take on the song's meaning).

This is my newest wallpaper. i hope you all like it. you see i finished that girl and it was originally going to be a picture of its own but i lost all inspiration for it and instead chose to make it a pretty wallpaper....altho there is *FAAAA~AAAR* too much pink!

Well, here are some more Skylanders that I have.

I got Wreaking Ball from Target after my birthday and he was the last one in stock.

I ordered Empire of Ice Adventure Pack that has Slam Bam at Amazon

2 months ago, I got the ones that just came out, Lighting Rod, Zook and Ignitor. And I got Stealth Elf and the Darklight Crypt Adventure Pack that has Ghost Roaster.

And yesterday when I ordered online at Gamestop, I finally got my hands on the last adventure pack, Dragon's Peak and has Sunburn AND Sparx the Dragonfly.

I'm now down to three Skylanders I'm looking for and then my collection is complete.

I wrote the Poem a few days ago and when I was browsing the Stockimages I found this beautiful image of the girl in 's stock gallery. The original image can be seen here > [link] .
The background was createsd by me using various masks. I don't know the original creator of the masks as I had these for a while, so the only clue I have are file names. The flower in the back was made by *Saphiere* according to the filename and the frame with the butterflies and dragonflies was made by *tde* (again according to filename). If you have better info on the masks that I do, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
