Not really any new art here, but I've really been digging the twitter, and made up this background to snaz up my page. But considering it took some time and effort, and I'm pretty proud of it, I figured I would post it here. Considering how much of you see of it on the site is dictated by your screen size, here is a chance to see it in its fullest.

This is my first ever attempt at Photoshop, as usually I just play the role of model only. I wanted a background for my Twitter, so I decided to play around a bit . It's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it, and it gave me a little experience in Photoshop that I definitely need.

It's an 800x800 background that I set to tile on my Twitter profile, so it can continue on without seams in the tiles.

Let me know what you think for my noob attempt at Photoshop.

First of all: This wasn't drawn by me! This is official artwork.

All I did was use this picture [link] of an official clear file, which was only sold at Pokemon Centers in Japan, to edit is to a twitter/tumbrl background.
This took some time, since the background color was not smooth, but totally worth it :3

Feel free to use as a fellow Dragonair fan, but it would be nice if you could mention my name!

Here is a great surprise for you, especially people who like Windows 8, Twitter and who can program and develop softwares.
Here is my first full concept : LIVEBIRD (Twitter Modern UI), a full concept of a Twitter App for Windows 8.

I've made this concept during about 3 weeks, with the help of Andreas Chris.

The goal ? To show people how Twitter must be in a Windows 8 App :

• one user = one personal profile : users see their personal profile with their infos, their profile, header and background pictures
• an easy access with all the Twitter features, adapted for a navigation on Windows 8
• an easy navigation available with mouse & keyboard or with a touch screen

ABOUT THE WINRAR ARCHIVE :

The WinRar Archive that you can download ow contains :
• 32 pictures from "00 - TWITTER MODERN UI Intro" to "And Now" which show the full concept, with the snapshots of the concepts and the description of the concept parts ; see and read them from first to last snapshot.
• one picture "LiveBird Info + Preview" used for the deviation
• a README.TXT with the infos of the deviation and the concept

EDIT: I just noticed that the color of the wallpaper's background is way too awful, so I'll be re-making this as soon as I can.
The only reason it came out as it is because I was both drunk and sleepy. (ignore this)

I SO love using starfield and sparkle brushes, don't you?

What a great excuse to use them for my first Twitter background. I Googled "Twitter BG" and used the first image that came back as a size reference thinking they'd all be the same, right? Big fat WRONG-O. This background was made to fit 1450x775...

I wish, I wish, I wish, I had tested it before putting all that work into it because it doesn't fit right! Grrr...

Oh well... Lesson learned for next time!
