Admittedly, though a lot of my stamps are made with people in mind I try to get things about them first, I try to get to know each side, I've actually spoken with a lot of people some of my stamps are made from (and most of them are just brick walls); and even at that I try not to actually mention them now after learning that...well, one, that's pretty much asking everyone to harass them. And if they're infamous people will know who they are just from what I type - and most stamp makers and people who talk about others try to do the same. I've noticed before anyone makes a stamp that's more or less for someone, they try to dig deeply into it so they're not making idiots of themselves because the person they're making fun of actually could have had a big misunderstanding or something.

At least most.

I should have actually put in this stamp: "Don't spread shit about someone and MENTION THEM until you get your facts straight". Because even though the so called 'art thief' in the stamp I linked above says everything's good now, there are still fans of the person who claimed she stole shit from her going to her gallery and telling everyone that's she an art thief who traces. They're still spreading shit about her just because the other person said she stole from her while giving no proof what-so-ever. There was no proof, and the artist who was claimed as an art thief is still getting crap for it because she just had to make a call out journal that DIRECTLY mentioned the person and, even though it wasn't intentional, still sent her barrages of fans to continually harass this poor girl.

I don't even really like the apparent 'thief' as an artist, her art is somewhat cute but it's really not my favourite and I wouldn't watch her or even favourite that much save for a few of one particular collection, but this still pisses me off. Just because this one person didn't just think first and think that 'hey, maybe they're just similar, maybe she didn't steal from me and I'm just taking this way overboard' or 'maybe I should try to find ACTUAL PROOF that she traced from me' she has her fans harassing a girl that didn't do anything.

I could seriously just rant on this all day. Though I do mean this for...everything, as all my stamps can be put in a broad level and be meant for everything, this one event is just so mind numbingly stupid. I seriously feel no sympathy for the claimer if this all turns around she starts getting shit, though I won't wish it on her.

Anyway.

It peeves me when people go around claiming to hate something before they really consider the other side and study it more in-depth. I’m mostly referring to other lifestyles and beliefs, but I guess this could apply to just about anything. Of course, everyone is allowed to feel uncomfortable with certain aspects of certain things; but don’t forget that “hate” is a strong word. It just doesn’t make sense to me to go around hating something without really thinking about or understanding the other side first. You may hold a mostly negative view of something, but you can’t officially say that you “hate” it until you understand everything there is to understand, and you have placed yourself in the other person’s shoes and experienced the mindset for yourself. If you cannot claim to have done that, then you may not claim to “hate” something. It is important to keep an open mind, because there may always be a surprise from the other side that you may not have ever expected.

Anti Irresponsible Parenting

What I mean by "irresponsible parent" is not a parent that cannot care for their kid (ex: parent becomes severely disabled in a car accident and cannot function normally, parent tries to find a good job to support the kid but simply cannot because the economy is bad, parent works at a job that requires him/her to be away from the home 24/7). My parents were new immigrants when they first came to Canada and my dad couldn't spend time with his kids at first because at his second job, his boss was not allowing him to go home until after midnight.

I'm using the term "irresponsible parent" to refer to a parent that does have the resources, time, energy, and/or money to care for their kids, yet they spend most of it on partying, drinking, drugs, porn, etc, instead of using it to meet the needs of their kids, and they leave the kid to be babysat by someone else most of the time.

I made this mostly because I see too many anti-parenting stamps on deviantART, and if you don't want to be a parent, that's fine! I believe that adoption is important, but at the same time, if someone else wants to have a biological kid, I really couldn't care at all. As long as the parents are willing to meet the needs of the kids, I could care less whether the kid was adopted or biological. Just remember that if you refuse to care for or support that kid that you adopted/conceived, someone will be suffering because of your decisions.

However, I'll state one more thing. If you need to hire a babysitter because you have to go to a meeting or such other important event that kids are not permitted to attend, feel free to. I'm just saying you should be the primary caretaker of your kids. If there are certain times where you can't spend time with your kids, don't hesitate to hire a babysitter. BUT... hire one that you trust and you know has a good reputation.

In Oblivion to Skyrim,...(The Elder Scrolls IV and V),you...man you just HAVE to love the physics of the game,when characters die...yes.They do what's called "rag dolling" where...they just drop,flail and slump on the ground.Even if you use a spell that explodes,they just flail into the sky,flop around and go limp on the ground.It's for EVERYTHING (living anyway.) Even your own character.Jump to high? You'll land and go limp and wobbly on the ground,and people will pass you by as if nothing ever happened.

Regardless of what weapon you use,it's the same.Flopping and slumping on the ground.And using any weapon or spell with force...yes.I love using (In Oblivion) the arrow set called "Arrow of StormStrike" where you hit the target with such a jolt of lighting,it's like a bomb,I use it JUST to see them flail into the sky.

On Skyrim,there are glitches worth seeing,such as "The Flailing Sabertooth",it even manually ascends to Heaven after it dies.And the reknown Giants,with the ability to send you to the moon with one hit.

I just love the flopping and flailing of a characters death.
It will go from such a serious thing..to something that's so funny you won't stop laughing.And half the time NONE of these are glitches...80% of this is actually design works in the game.You just HAVE to love the physics of this game...

Wow, third stamp in one day. Sorry for the sudden bombardment, guys; I guess I just really needed to vent today. xD

There are probably a lot of stamps out there that are like this already, but I couldn’t find one that wasn’t laced with a bunch of profanity and/or insults towards people who complain about how much they hate new/old things. So here’s a happy version of one of those stamps. ^^

I’ll admit, I probably enjoy a lot of older things more than I do newer things- whether it be music, movies, styles, etc- but that certainly doesn’t mean that I hate everything about the 21st Century. I’m able to see the good in every generation, regardless of its age. :3

I know a lot of people like to complain about how much they hate the 21st Century, and how everything has turned to garbage- and believe me, I used to be an extreme case of that. But there are good things out there from this generation as well, even if most of the things that happen to be popular at the moment don’t particularly appeal to you. After all, you’re currently logged on to a computer that’s probably much more advanced than anything you would have found in the 1980s, and you’re also logged on to DeviantART, which didn’t exist until the early 2000s. :3 And based on my experiences, if there’s at least one exception out there that you’re willing to make, then there are usually several other exceptions that you probably haven’t even discovered yet.

And, of course, the same thing goes vice-versa. Liking older things won’t suddenly make you “un-hip”, so don’t be afraid to give some older things a try as well. Believe it or not, a lot of what is popular today was largely influenced by older things, or otherwise couldn’t exist without the old- for example, a lot of today’s music relies heavily on synthesisers, and those didn’t become popular until the 1970s. And a lot of 70s music actually has a pretty similar flavour as some of today’s music.

TL;DR version- don’t judge a generation by what happens/happened to be popular at the time. There are plenty of good things from every era, and liking things outside of your generation (or otherwise preferred time period) won’t suddenly make you “uncool”. (If you ask me, I actually think that the “cool kids” are the ones who are able to like a little bit of everything, because it shows that they at least have an open mind). Also, don’t forget that everyone’s tastes tend to change over time- if you don’t like something today, that might not always be the case later on. c:

Nudists are Not Perverts

It saddens me to see that still so many people can't tell the difference between the two, so allow me to clarify:

A nudist is someone who appreciates the nude form for its artistic value. They are able to see the beauty of the human body as a whole (not just the sexual bits), and are able to admire it in a mature manner, the same way one might admire a painting. They may also enjoy being naked themselves, not because they’re some weirdo creeper who wants to flash everybody, but simply because they feel comfortable that way, and/or it goes along with their philosophy (See also “naturism” [link] ).

A pervert is someone with a dirty mind who only wants to ogle over the sexual parts of the human body, rather than admire the body as a whole.

There’s a big difference between the two, which is why it makes me so sad to see that so many people still categorise all nudity as being “evil” and “perverted”. Simply sketching a nude figure, or admiring a nude photograph, or taking my clothes off doesn’t mean that I want to get dirty. I admire nudity simply because I think the human body is a beautiful thing in itself, and whenever I draw nudes, it’s not because I have a “dirty mind”- it’s because it goes along with the sentiment of the piece, or the ideology of the subjects involved. For example, I usually draw fantasy creatures such as mermaids and fairies without clothing simply because I’ve always pictured them as being their own separate species, and thus not bounded by the same customs as human beings. Artwork aside, I also consider myself as having naturist views, simply because I see all humans as being equal with both nature and each other, and I feel that clothing (when unnecessary for anything other than warmth) can often serve as a social barrier between that equality. Plus, I don’t like the way clothing feels when tugging against my skin, or having it weigh me down in hot weather.

I’m not going to bash perverts, because I don’t believe in spreading hatred towards other groups; but I actually find it a little insulting that so many people still get the two mixed up, because eroticism couldn’t be further from what most nudists believe in. Simply looking at a naked person doesn’t mean that I have any sexual interest in them, so please don’t assume that that is the case.

I honestly could care less if people like decking out their Profile. It's not really my cup of tea, but if it makes people happy, let them do as they please. However, there is too far, especially when the decoration stretches out the page to a crazy length. I'm too poor to afford fancy fast internet, and those pages have the tendency to freeze up and crash my browsers regardless of which computer I'm on.

Besides, if deviantArt is an 'art' (relatively speaking, heh) website and if people want to show their work off, wouldn't excessive Profile page decorations detract from the work they're trying to share? Just a thought.
