I've always thought the higanbana was mysterious and intriguing because although it blooms with a gorgeous crimson flower, it is often associated with funerals and death. Wowee, it feels like months since I last posted Have some age memes of our samsara side characters! Since we've already done both Sam and Sara, we thought this would be a great exercise for the other supporting characters.

First up we have Tammy. How I love this awkward beanpole! It's pretty adorable how suddenly she growth-spurts and no longer wants to be said beanpole. I loved playing with the waves of awkward and outgoing with her, because she is quite honestly a particular balance of both.

Next up is Blaire. She's always been pretty set as far as her growth goes. She gets a lot of her bad habits from her mom, kind of became the thing she hated. P: Also, not anything too significant, be she's half Mexican now (on her mom's side) and her dad is white.

-Demon imps
-Attracted by smell of cooking grease/oils
-Often come through portals
-They usually spawn in the kitchen
-Can come out of ovens since they can withstand high degrees of heat
-The first object they see that intrigued them will become a "hat"
-The item may enlarge or shrink depending on their headsize
-Never can force the item off of them
-They take the colors/textures/patterns on whatever is on their head. Originally they are muted colors or even translucent since they are not from this dimension.
-They're pest since they thrive off of fibers of books and clothing
-Their back legs are kinda flawed and makes them pretty clumsy walkers, so they just teleport most of the time
-They are the size of a teddy bear or a normal cat. Sometimes bigger.
-Their front legs are more like arms and big hands and they have opposable thumbs, so they can pick anything up
-They are very intrigued by humans and may nip at a certain part of the human body
-Only way to get rid of them is to cook a homemade _______ (still need to come up with what this will be), then they'll finally runaway back into the dimension they were from

Aaaand Gwen! A feisty little thing indeed I didn't get to include it in the age meme (AFTER ALL THAT RESEARCH, I'M SO SORRY JUUASHKYUU) but she was supposed to be saying "Anong problema mo?!" in that 9 year old one, haha.
Aside from her mellowing out for the sake of her parent's high blood pressure and her sudden intimidating attitude in highschool, she was actually very popular ~~with the ladies~~

These are my top picks, but they are in no particular order. I like them all.

1. Professor Layton - Professor Layton Series

Ok so he's not 100% Nintendo, but neither are Ness and Lucas so shut up. I don't even know what his moveset would be, but it would involve a sword, because this -> [link] also he can probably run you over with that cute lil' car of his. I think the reason I really want him to be in the next smash is because he has become such an iconic character of this generation. His presence in the new SSB would add so much to the already amazing roster. Of course, being the passive gentleman that he is affects his chances of being in the game greatly. He really only gets physical when there is no other choice and he prefers to deal with a situation in a calculating and non-aggressive manner. That being said, characters that were never thought of as fighters like Princess Peach and Mr. Game and Watch have made the cut, so anything is possible.

2. Chibi Robo - Chibi Robo Series

If you have a Gamecube and never played Chibi-Robo, then shame on you (says the guy who first played it about a few months ago...). Under it's childish exterior, Chibi Robo has a powerful message about selflessness and the importance of doing good for others. It's quickly become one of my favorite games on the GC if not ever. The thing I love the most about Smash is how it's a celebration of everything Nintendo, and my new love for Chibi Robo has me hoping it gets some form of representation. Also, just because he's a nice little robot doesn't mean he can't kick some butt. GO CHIBI BLASTER!!! Press B+up for CHIBI COPTER!!!

3. Shulk - Xenoblade Chronicles

I'm fully aware of the "leaked" rosters going around, and while I question the validity of some of the character choices, the addition of Shulk in the new smash is a no-brainer for me. Xenoblade Chronicles is the best game on the Wii as far as I, and a lot of people who played it are concerned. I can guarantee he will be among the next game's newcomers. The only thing that would affect his chance of being in is the possibility of the newest "Xeno" game being released before SSB4, which would then replace Shulk for whatever other main character would become his successor.

4. Masked Man - Mother 3

It's a proven fact that Smash Bros. needs more villains AND characters from MOTHER. Not gonna go into too much detail with him since almost everything about him is a spoiler (not a very respected one at that), but I guess his moveset would be something not unlike Metaknight with a bit of Samus combined. Tell me that doesn't sound awesome.

5. Shantae - Shantae Series

Yeah, I know what you're thinking: "WHERE'S MEGAMAN??". I, like many of you, would love to see Megaman be the next big guest star on Smash, but I'll be honest, with the way things have been I'm not gonna hold my breath. Instead I'll keep things interesting and think of what other characters I would love to guest star. I've always liked Shantae, and the idea of seeing her in 3d whipping her hair about and shaking that booty gives me the giggles. Plus, God knows we need some estrogen in the sausage-fest that is the SSB roster.

Whew! That's it folks. It was tough choosing 5 characters to draw but it was fun. Being the Nintendo freak I am I could go on all night thinking of characters I would add to the roster. I'M SO EXCITED YOU GUYSE IT'S GONNA BE SSBB HYP ALL OVER AGAIN YESSSSSS

So here you can actually compare all of Mari's Shinigami looks back-to-back, and boy, are there some differences!

[FIRST LOOK]: (January 24 2012 - June 29 2012)

So this first look didn't last very long...only around 6 months. This was probably the worst idea ever, and I wish I had realized it at the time. I just had "moe Mari" in my head when I made this...all of the ruffles and bows, gah, it kills me to look at it now. XD I just changed SO much of it, I had started out just wanting to make it look like a short kimono, and then the sash turned into a corset, I changed the shoes, before you knew it...she looked like a lolita! There were pretty much no remnants from the standard uniform left behind, besides its base color being black.

[THEN LOOK]: (June 29 2012 - May 22 2013)

Then I decided it was time for a change after someone had posted a review on marysuefacepalm, talking specifically about Mari's uniform. (But I had also grew out of it before that.) I liked this one much better, and made some DRASTIC changes. Removed all of the ruffles, lengthened the skirt, and just got rid of all of the unnecessary frou frou stuff. I kept the gloves and even the thigh-high socks, though I added a "kitty choker" as an accessory. This design lasted almost a year, and I didn't think I'd be changing it.

[NOW LOOK]: (May 22 2013 - FOREVER HOPEFULLY)

BUT THEN...I did. To this new look! Pretty much with each design I've been toning it down, and now I realized that I wanted to go for a look that made Mari look mature, for it to be closer to the standard Shinigami uniform, and to also make it more battle ready. The then look, while more functional than the first, still had its upsets, especially with the large, impeding bow, loose sleeves, and billowing skirt. So here I removed the sleeves (to also show some skin), made the pants more fitting for easier movement, and put the traditional sandals, because really, there was no need to change it in the first place. Her sash is also much less noticeable, and her gloves have also been shortened and changed. She now wears a necklace that is some jelly on toast, which is weird but I like it. XD Oh, her Zanpakuto also changed, both the blade and the hilt. I like it better this way.

Aaand, there you have it! Someone please shoot me if I ever even THINK about changing it again. XDDDD

So this is the latest of my designs, more of an original breed of canine than a species unto its own. I'm colloquially calling them "Hoxes" since they're thought to be a relative to wolves, though who had mutations in their Hox genes (the sequences of DNA that map out body shape) to cause an extra mouth and set of ears to grow below the first. They're shaped a little differently than the average wolf, with extended necks (also a mutation in the Hox genes, extra vertebrae formed) and longer snouts to accommodate the second mouth.

The mutations they had proved to be advantageous - the four ears allowed them better hearing ability, and two mouths greater bite force with the bottom mouth being stronger than the top - and so the Hoxes survived and spread. They're a bit smarter than the average canine though still hunt in packs. The markings on both their bodies and horns aren't natural and are painted on, and typically closely related Hoxes will have similar markings. (Sorry for the enormous paragraph of info, I had some sudden inspiration with their story, though I'll add more later c: )

The Hoxes are mine are a closed breed. You may not make your own or breed them, and in the event that you adopt it and later do not want it, I will buy it back from you at a third of the price you paid. If you break one of the rules, I will recall the adopt and pay you back a third of the price you paid. I reserve the right to put it back up for adoption. Please don't resell, thank you c:
