This time the task was to draw a cute monster~ \(* o *)/
For some reason this fluffy snow monster came to my head.))

He was lonely and felt bored. Sо, he sculpts for himself new friend made of snow..
But wait! Oh nooo~!
Someone saw it!

I wanted to draw something small and decided to enter this competition. It was fun and all to draw something very simple again...is it cute? Maybe charming? Erm...

For the Cute Monsters Design Challenge!

Harhar it was so much fun to do this! It's completely different from my other drawings and paintings, but i think this style is really good for a Shirt Design.
And the best thing is: i could use my "Spiegeleieraugenpilze" again XD (uhm.... "fried egg eyes mushrooms"??? XD)

I hope someone likes it, and PLEAAAASE push the button XD Yes that little "I'd wear this" button in the upper right corner !

Contest Entry - Cute Monsters

I had to re-upload it again because I didn't realise that for this type of thing, you just have to press the submit button prior to having uploaded it... Anyway! I managed to draw this up in a coupled of hours, and kept it relatively simple. I'd love to win, just as much as any body, and this is only my second competition... I gave it a catchy phrase too, for added affect XD

Cute Monsters Entry - 3 Little Chimeras

Not a very exciting entry. Sorry guys :c. I did have a back drawn out, but I ended up scrapping it.

Oh well... I thought I'd give it a shot at least . I started out with a completely different idea, and nixed it for this. I may go back and do the first idea again and try to submit it before the deadline, or I may try out this third idea that is kind of still gestating in my brain-skull. Honestly though, I'd rather just move on. Maybe I'll do something more daring for the next contest thingy.

I do love me an excuse to draw cute little monsters, though.

And in case you were wondering; the first monster is a Linodile (lion/rhino/crocodile), the second is a Snabbuck (snake/rabbit/duck) and the third is a Cowlig (cat/owl/pig...and I know it sounds like cow-lick but I can't think of a better name! 8D).

If you click "I'd wear this" up in the top right-hand corner, underneath the fave button, I would really appreciate it. You don't have to, though. It's all good .

Original illustration for the "Cutest Monster" contest. Done with waterproof drawing ink pens and PrismaColor colored pencils. I am not a digital artist! I rendered this as best as possible using an online shortened version of photoshop.

Hello everyone! Monsters like to cuddle too right? Except you'd never think so since their monsters, so they're always reaching out at us! Go grab a monster and give it a cuddle!

Honestly I wasn't sure what color to make the monsters at first but eventually I decided to keep them "clear" so they would match whichever color shirt they were placed on, except for the front guy which is meant as a foundation for the others.

I made the cat monster's antenna into a red ball and quite accidentally it made the whole thing into sort of a target/hypnotizing circle drawing your attention to the center, which ended up going along with the whole "COME CLOSER" theme...lol.

The colors are limited at 7 to follow with the contest rules and I tried to make it eye catching but within printable limits.

This multitasking monster works with art tools such as, laptop, art programs and
drawing tablet. But wait! Theres more... this guy knows yoga, plus old school art
techniques. Like, using his thumb to help with size reference and proportions, hand
mirror for facial expressions and cute factor. Last, theres the paint and brush, used
to emphasize body features on a body like youve ever seen, or ever want to again.

Never Trust A Sour Cherry

Some cherries are very sour. Do not trust them (and DO NOT TRY TO EAT THEM!) If you do, you are sure to be eaten yourself.

This is my submission to the Cute Monster Challenge. I'm rather pleased with this and again I learned a lot during the progress!
I believe it's a bit pixelated, because the original drawings are a LOT bigger, and I had to shrink it. But I do have the originals on my computer, huge as hell.
