My new love at the moment *_*. I have just watched 10 episodes and read manga chapters of DURARARA!! series and I must say it's really great! I love the detailed background in anime, nice animation, the opening song and the characters. Not only there are very interesting charas but the key words here are: BISHIES * time for drooling*.

The first time I saw Izaya and Shizuo in fanarts on dA I thought they remind me Hibari and Dino from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. However, they've got absolutely different personalities. I love them fighting with each other with that Shizuo's scream 'Izayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" (insert some random heavy objects flying toward Izaya XD ).
Ok. But that's enough of fangirl's mode.
I really recommend you the series: both manga and anime. If you don't want to get any spoilers do not visit Wikipedia site ^^'.

Hope you will like my chibi version of them. It's the first time I drew them but I tried my best.

So school is coming up and I wanna make a good first impression. I want people to know I'm gay but I don't wanna be the typical stereotype that all gay people are obnoxiously loud and proud.

So I thought about it for a while. I thought there's nothing wrong with being straight, I like straight couples too, I like gay couples, and I like lesbian couples, and I like transgendered couples too.

So I started looking; I wanted to see if there was a way to display my gay pride and still say "if you dont wanna be gay, thats ok, I'll like you straight too"

finally I found "supportlove" There really isn't an official organization of "supportlove" but if you type it in google you get cool stuff~<3

It was exactly what I was looking for! I support all love! Lovers of different religions, ethnicity, ages, gay, transgenders, lesbian, bi, straight, whatever! as long as its honest, caring, respectful, mutual, I say go for it! X3

The thought to create these were very simple. We want to have fun of selling shiny art stuff in a convention, and we love cute merchandise! X-Men: First Class buttons

YAY! Finished the whole X-Team.

Of course, this is Charles, Erik, Raven(Mystique), Alex(Havok), Hank(Beast) and Sean(Banshee) from X-Men: First Class, a fantastic movie that blows all the other X-Men flicks out of the water. Stylistically these buttons are all pretty different but whatever. I actually really love how Charles came out, I think he actually bears some resemblance to the actor. People complain that James McAvoy is hard to draw but no, Michael Fassbender wins that award by far. I must have redrawn him 5 times and will probably go back and rework him again. His mix of agony and danger is hard to capture. :/

All done in OpenCanvas. Buttons are 1.25" (The size of a toonie/2$ coin). They actually look pretty awesome IRL!

I half wanted to specify flavours for them, but there are a lot of different flavs with the same colour so I thought it might be nice to let people decide for themselves what they are.

Deciding what BGs to give them were a pain in the ass. I hope they look okay. (As I'd asked for the other sets, telling me which ones you like best if any at all is really appreciated)

BUUUT-- you know, aside from all the design-y stuff. What is YOUR favourite flavour of bubble tea? The delicious, drinkable snack. For the moment, mine is Passion Fruit with Green Apple Jelly. Weird combo much?

The picture and quality of this is horrid. My camera kills everything. :c Nonetheless, I'm posting this as an example of a new commission type. It's a button pin, so you can pin it to your backpack or whatever. It's a bit different than traditional pins (see here: [link]). It's made of thicker medal and a stronger pin. It's also cheaper because you don't need a button press machine.

But it's really great quality material and I'm happy with the turnout of this. When I take commissions for them, I'm thinking about $5 (not including shipping) because the materials for each pin cost me $2 each.
Anyway, I hope you like it too! And comments are appreciated.

Christian Furry Badge

I consider myself somewhat of a furry (though not as much as some), and I'm also a Christian (of the Methodist denomination). Earlier this week, I realized how much the flame of the Methodist symbol resembled a fox tail, and I thought to myself "I've GOTTA make this." So tonight I sat down and made the idea come to life.

I tried giving it an overlay to make it seem more like a physical button/badge than just a digital creation. Let me know how convincing you find the look. (In looking for post-processing filters, I came across one filter that gave the design a WICKED AWESOME embossed-metal look, which was too good not to share: [link])

I spent about three hours on this. A good hour of it was spent figuring out how to place the letters around the image. I couldn't just add an arc bend to a string of text in Photoshop because the badge was elliptical, not circular, so what I ended up doing was constructing a "peg" frame that placed the centers of the letters 150 pixels apart, following the middle of the border, while adding a series of perpendicular lines that acted as a guide for rotating each letter individually. In the end, the different sizes of the letters made me deviate from the frame approach, to reduce the look of clumping.

If you consider yourself a Christian furry too, I encourage you to use this badge to show it. All I ask is that you give me credit for it.

Some more buttons, this time in a 1 inch size. I'm feeling more confident with the technique, so I experimented with different materials I found outside and around the house.

The swirly little rainbow ones are silk fiber. Jesse gave me a bunch to play with and it turned out to look pretty rad. He also found me some cool-ass craft paper to punch out for the backgrounds.

26 buttons and counting!!! Man, I just love this button machine! My goal is to have 50 different designs by the end of the summer in time for Anime Weekend Atlanta! Most of these have already debuted at Natsucon, but there are eight new designs since then. You can also see the ones I first posted up with my Asian Button Set, but I like how they look altogether.

Over nine months I worked on the new LCARs Master Systems Display for the spaceship scenerie from the ship USS K' Ehleyr.

Now it's finished.
The original file is 139 MB large!
9800 x 4962 pixels will be printed on a 78,7 x 39,4 (2 x 1 m) inches sheet of paper.

As a base I used a small schematic LCAR of the USS Defiant (original width 1500 pixels) and stretched it to 9800 pixels.
Most of the time I reworked the streched original pixel by pixel , but also changed some originals to our different scenery design.
(For example the bridge, the transporter, the sickbay and more...)

At last I created the LCARs around the schematic.
Most of the buttons actually make sense!
The original LCARs of the TV show mostly are just there for their good looks...

Powerpuff Ed button and L button!

An idea I went along with since I'm getting close to heading to a convention next week. xD I had been interested in seeing how a few PP (Powerpuff) designs would look on buttons so here's just the lucky two characters I chosed out of the one's I drew so far. I'll eventually try at other one's when I get more money that is lol. I'm broke. -_-;

The Ed one is the biggest size they had on the site and the L one is the standard size they had. I really adore how both of them turned out but my fav has to be the Ed one because with it being bigger you can see the design all very well lol. *__*

Again, this is a sticker, not a button.
This has a slightly different message than 'Speak'. It sounds mean, but it's more because I have a problem hearing an opinion I disagree with(even if it's not being presented as truth) and not getting fierce about it.
Sometimes it's better to sit, stay, hush, and just take it in.
