Tomorrow is Chinese New Year's Eve~! Time for the itchy hands to play cards and take all the kiddies' monies~!!! LOL jkjk XDDD I'm gonna be busy with preparing stuff tomorrow so i figured i'll just upload this now XP

This will be the first fashion sketch to be CGed and i'm quite happy with the result. All thanks to the spiffy brushes and credits go to those who created them * i forgot where i download them P: * Ok, i would like to dedicate this to all who celebrate this auspicious day~! It's all about BRIGHT, BOLD COLORS when you speak of CNY~ LOL i know it's typical but surely, where's the festive mood if you're not in THESE colors? XDDD

Only one of these designs (the first) was meant to be Alice inspired [the cheshire cat]. The second design reminded me of the Queen, and the third reminded me of Alice, though. So, I made them into a collection of sorts.

These can be viewed as individual designs or as a collection.

And here is my finished t-shirt! I got it printed at the printing shop down town. I'm SO happy with this. The guy who owns the shop knows about me, my art and my habit of printing my fave characters on stuff. Yes, stuff I have Kurtz and Zorak dogtags and my own OCs on mugs. And a Silvolf bag. I actually worked there for a couple of weeks a few summers ago when one of the staff were on vacation. I got discounts while I was there
But anyway, I'm so happy with the outcome of this. It really does look like authentic merchandise Like, they could have made t-shirts similar to this with each character on, their team symbol and the Redakai logo. Then you could wear your fave character. I wish they'd done that. But I still get to wear Zane. My fave characters are from shows so little known that I usually do something similar to this. But I think this is my fave one I've done in a long time. It looks so frikkin COOL!! And that is very rare for me to say but I love love LOVE this!! SO proud of me right now.

Since this seems to be making people ask the question where can they get their own shirts printed, with other stuff on, I suggest Vistaprint. I get most of my stuff done there (business cards, t-shirts, pens etc) but I wanted it fast so I went locally. Vistaprint does quality printing too on both black or white shirts. I suggest getting things done on white shirts though, the printing process is more reliable and can be inked directly into the material, whereas for a black shirt, in order to get the colours of the image to show properly, they print it onto a transfer and embed it in the material. It can fade with time. Also, making sure your image is 300dpi when you submit it is important. So, either a PNG or a PSD. I have tons of shirts with my OCs on lol.

God, I hate my computer. My scanner is broken, so I can't upload the totally re-done design I have, and I left my card reader at school so I can't even upload a picture.

So I had to color in my skectch on the computer, without a mouse (just that awful laptop touvhpad thing) because the desktop family computer is unavailable and grrrr.

So the color is hideous, and I need to submit because in two minutes I'm going to be late for work.

I really do apologize for the poor quality, I would love to submit my final when my scanner starts to work for critique if I could, even though it would be past the deadline. Thanks!

Red (should be darker, I hate paint) tweed with black piping and lace. Should have black stockings and shoes, but I ran out of time.

My final collection: lost in wonderland

About the theme:

Alice in Wonderland has always been my favorite childhood story: full of color, fancy, and universal themes that speak to anyone anywhere you could possibly go. This collection takes unforgettable elements of that fairy tale and makes whimsical ensembles out of them. Some characters were not included because they were easily forgettable, or just uninspiring to me. However, every outfit is based off of some fun element of the tale ( primarily from the movie, not the book).

About the collection:

Overall: The collection progresses by common color. First is the caterpillar in all blue, followed by Alice in light blue, followed by the Mad Hatter with his blue bowtie, followed by Tweedle Dee and Tweedle dum with a similar blue bow tie. But, Tweedle Dee and Dum also has red, which leads to the March hare, the red of the Queen of Hearts, followed by the red in the Card Guard, followed by the shared red heart of the White rabbit, followed by the touch of red and similar folded fabric of the flamingo, followed by the pinkish purpled hue of the Cheshire cat. While the pieces aren't entirely cohesive one beside the other, they all fit into the main theme, and each shares some small detail in common with the two pieces beside it.

About the individual pieces:
1.) The Caterpillar. This edgy top and skirt set keeps to the long, segmented lines of the caterpillar. The bubble seaming reflects his segmented body type, while not being too over the top. The high collar adds to the long slender neck he had. There are copper arm bands, buttons, and elf like shoes to match the caterpillars copper shoes, and small pink details to match the rims of the caterpillars hands and feet. The purse is modeled very closely to his hookah type pipe. The colors of the top and bottoms are very similar as well. The top is a satin type material, the skirt has a long slit and is a denim with copper colored seaming.
2.) Alice. This intimate apparel takes an unexpected turn for the innocent character in the book and movie. I took the blue of her dress and used it to channel it into the blue bra and blue sheer panty. I turned her white apron into semi sheer white additions to the front of her outfit. White tights go well with traditional Alice, in a slightly more risque way. little black details speak to her black mary janes and headband. I also added small white gloves for effect. The black lace trimmed straps add an unexpected detail to the back as well by going in a v shape. Also, mary janes go sky high in these platform heels. Overall, a more scandalous take on the innocent blonde.
3.) The Mad Hatter. The mad hatter is the hatter without his watch, afterall, so if you thinks its missing it isn't This piece takes his suit and turns it into a fun cocktail type dress. The color of the hatter's coat is the outer layer of the dress, his shirt the color of the inside, and his pants the color of the leggings. The shoes are still brown, but now a fun cross over boot, and the big blue bow tie still finds its way as the bust detail of this dress. The off white collar he normally boasted is turned into a ruffle detail along the top lining of the dress. And of course, what's a hatter without his hat? This ensemble adds a miniature of the fun hat, with the signature 10/6 printed on a small slip of paper as well. For sheer fun, the hem of the inner layer is slightly shorter.
4.) Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb: This piece has a more avant garde feel, but still totally wearable. The big pudgy twins are translated into a very fluffy red skirt. Of course, to keep the model from looking fat I chose a yellow corset top. To keep to the shape of the white triangle shaped collar, I chose a white cropped jacket with a little volume at the shoulders to balance the skirt. The boy's blue bowtie becomes a loose, blue scarf tied in a bow. The iconical hat is slightly smaller, more of a rounded cap, and the normal flag is more like a limp touch so it didn't look too outrageous.
5.) The March Hare. I took an unusal turn and turned the march hare into a swim suit! Taking the color of the hares coat, I made the top trim of the suit ( bright red), and the color of the top the lower part of the swimsuit( dark red). The hare's pants are the cute little bottoms, and his bowtie as the little bow details on the hips and tops. Instead of bunny ears or tails, the hat has a pink inner layer to mimic the insides of his ear , the hat is brown on the outside like the hare's ears. His whacky yellow hair is the ribbon on the hat, and his fluffy tail is the little flower- like addition on the hat as well. Fun maroon sunglasses were added for detail, and his blue collar was put into the woven sandles. A different take on the hare, but still makes sense when you look at it.
6.) The queen of hearts. Instead of going for a dress, I turned the queen into a business suit. The red and black obviously comes into play with the jacket and high rise pencil skirt. The white trim of her dress comes into play as a trim on her jacket, her skirt, and a small cami underneath. The black and orange detail of her skirt is in the inside on both the front and back of the skirt, in a puffed out underlayer fashion. There is also a fun laceback on the skirt, and fabulous white pumps with red heart toe detail. She has a golden crown necklace as well, and an iconic red high collar to match the original gown.
7.) The card guard. The normal marching playing cards gets turned into a fun pair of romper type shorts. The gold reflects the gold on the back of the cards, and the straps are shaped like the staffs they carried as well. Instead of shoulder pads we get a fun top with a similar design scoop design on the shoulder. Instead of red socks, fun slouchy red boots, as well as little red fingerless gloves. The heart shaped back pockets are just a girly touch, while the heart pattern on the front of the shorts echos back to the regular heart designs on the card.
8.)White rabbit- instead of a neck ruffle we get a white ruffle like half top, with the reglar red heart on the bodice ( similar to the rabbits red heart on his little apron type thing. Obviously this ensemble is based off the rabbit when he is with the queen, not on his way). And like his gray pants, we have gray jeans. When he reads a scroll, this translates into the scroll print on the back pockets. Instead of glasses, sunglasses. And of course, the hatter's watch. The top also buttons on the back of the neck and opens up.
9.)The flamingo. I tried to keep the long, thin lines of the flamingo with this one, and share the colors as well. There is also some sheer gauzy material on the front and back. The material is very gathered in various pink colors, and the back is a fading similar fabric. The back is slightly longer than the top, and rather flowy. The top has red like the beak of the bird, the sides the color of the bodice in the shape of its wings, and the breast area the color of the head. The black trim also represents the huge thick eyebrows of the bird. I finished it off with pink denim skinny jeans, black boots with seams like the webbed feet, and a little flamingo feather in her hair.
10.) the cheshire cat. a fun evening gown modeled after the cat. the neckline is the cats grin, the bodice his stripes. they meet in the back for fun flowy strips of fabric. little white wedges seal the deal, and a cat collar to tip you off.

Ink It Apparel.com is a Veteran owned online tee shirt shop & silkscreen studio located in Elmhurst New York, USA. They do custom shirts for businesses and sell a variety of cool, edgy, and fun apparel.

I'm under contract with Ink It Appare.com and will be creating a system of identity for the brand during the next few weeks. Since they already have a logo and website, I'm starting with the above business card. (Note Image displays front and back of card.) these will printed on glossy card stock.

Swift Airlines was a made up name for an airline.
The brief was to design a logo to be used on the aircraft, letterheads/business cards, ground equipment and crew uniforms etc.
My theme was a 1960's/70's style and colour scheme, I wanted something bright and fun and flirty.

Steampunk Gypsy Costume

this is my Steampunk gypsy costume that I hope to one day have made. It's a relatively complex costume assembled from several European countries' traditional costumes and a few modifications of my own.
1. The Green overvest is an Montenegrian long-vest
2. The black minivest is reminiscent of Romanian minivests
3. The light weave see through puffed sleeve peasant shirt can come from almost any of the european countries.
The red half skirt is again Romanian, transylvanian, or lolita/visual kei (tiffa from final fantasy?)
4. The apron is under the half skirt - lapland area (used to carry my business cards and camera lens caps)
5. The puffy purple brocade mini-skirt is of Turkish design and lolita.
6. The "dress" looking pants are ballooned to add breathability - they have cuffs built into the midcalf area to be capped by a pair of riding boots. the brown ring around each is leather with padding on the inside so I won't wear out the knees and to keep me from bruising my knees on odd surfaces while taking pictures.
7. The veil is Bulgarian in nature, with added metalic adornments - it's length is about midwaist - used for light blocker when taking pictures - similar to the black blankets over old fashioned cameras that photographers would stick their head under.

THE MAIN CONCEPT BEHIND THESE DESIGNS WAS THAT THE SHOP I WAS THE THINGS DESIGNING TO HAS NO LIMITS AT ALL - IT SELLS CLOTHES FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD. THAT IS WHY THE SHOP'S NAME WAS "No Limit".

Fetishistic Power Armor

Wom-wom wom wom womp Womma womma womma wom wom wom womp!

Haaas she lost her mind?
Can she see or is she blind?
Can she walk at all?
Or if she moves will she fall?

This is the power armor of an incredibly nasty bounty hunter in a sci-fi setting. Is she a human? Is she some kind of illegal killbot? Good question. All we know is that she has emotions enough to be lonely. But don't end up on her bounty list, because she'll track you down to the end of the universe just to bring you back and collect on you. She's like the Terminator, walking through fire and explosions to claim her mark, only with no face and an atonal canned voice. The armor *never* comes off.

Her known weapons include: a machine blaster rifle (think MG-34) with underslung grenade launcher, those folding fist shields, a variety of hand grenades (sleep gas being a favorite), a dart launcher in her left gauntlet (usually stun darts), business card dispenser in the right gauntlet, and in some iterations a plasma sword.

So basically, this is a recurring character of mine, in her armor that's at the intersection of Bubblegum Crisis, Boba Fett, and a Bane suit (keyword to search for is "eudeamon" ). I think I accomplished my goal. We might or might not be seeing any of her in the near future.
