A lil peice of flash I had laying around, for a while. I finally got to finishing coloring it. I'm especially happy with the coloring cuz its the quickiest and best I think I've ever done. I tried some new techniques and solved some probs i've been stuck on for a while so happy i be.

~Erszabet's friend, Allie, commissioned me to do a tattoo design for her.

She wanted a lion, birds, orchids, tulips, and calla lillies, and she wanted the flowers to be seeping blue to represent inner beauty. There were a lot of reasons for the various things in it, it's a very personal thing that means a lot to her.

Apparently she is quite pleased with this, which makes me happy. Everyone should be happy, especially if it's going to be on someone forever.

So yeah, comissions. They're a thing I do sometimes. Quite cheaply might I add. This particular one cost five bucks and the promise of Tim Hortons. Wink wink nudge nudge.
... and no one's forcing you to have it on you forever, that's just this particular instance.

I spent several hours actually trying to draw flowers at the shop last week, cuz if I'm gonna do this people are gonna want flowers. Girls are gonna want flowers. I should know how to pull that off.

Another Tattoo design for myself. It will go on my right leg. My Mother has a tattoo of a rose and butterfly on her ankle and I have always wanted a tattoo like hers. I wanted to make it my own though.

I am not a big fan of roses and my favorite flowers are Tulips. I thought a tulip would be too simple so instead I went with my second favorite, a Lily.

2 tulips. first is a 'arrot' tulip. petals are very feather like and colors are bright and bold. second is ur average tulip. a friend at work wanted me to design her some tulips for a tattoo so did these for her. did one of each to give her options. the parrot is my kind of tulip. she never heard of it so now she will. hope she likes... usually dont color tattoo designs for more then obvious reasons... but if she wants one of these.. will just photo shop the lines out and make them a lil bold. if ur thinking detail to small.. its going on her side from breast to hip.. sooo.. should be enuf skin to work with ...

roseart colored pencils. a few touch ups in photo shop like drop shadows. love that brush.

any comments or anything, love to hear it. if u like them let me know. not offering these to be played with since there going on some one... sooo please no touchy touchy.

We had to create a "tattoo" with symbolism of a hero in our life. Mine was about my Great Grandfather.

I wasn't quite sure how to draw a bat wing (realistically) so I used a reference.

This is my tattoo design that I drew and got inked at the Ink N Iron event on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The bird is a Distlefink, which is a German bird that means good luck. The Distlefink, the heart and the tulips are prominent in Dutch folk art; the tulips stand for faith and happiness, and the heart stands for love. My dad's family is Dutch and my mom's family is German. 64 is my favorite number -when you add 6 and 4 you get 10, and I can be a little OCD with incriminates of 2 and 10. Anyway, I just always loved the number, so I use it a lot. Oh, and I love swirls.

I guess the reason why I decided to get this tattoo is because I've had an interesting/difficult year, and my family has been so supportive during it all. My mom is always telling me that it's my choice each day whether or not I'm going to be happy; when I look down at my tattoo I'll remember to choose to be happy and not to punish myself for the things I can't control.

I tried to push my watermark off to one side this time instead of just letting it take over.

I made this for a friend of mine. She wanted a cross tattoo with "grandma's girl" written on it, vines, and flowers (either a rose or tulip). It's a little different from the general idea she gave me, but she liked how it came along. She was watching me the whole time I drew it.

This is how it ended up. The wording sucked. I had to use word art to even get it to look somewhat decent. I feel the cross itself is lacking a little balance on a couple arms, but I can fix it later if need be. I told her I'd print off a couple images of it for her to design a color pallet. If/when she ever gets it, I will post a picture of it on here.

Like most of my drawings, this one was done with a pencil and a pen.... no markers or other art tools. A good old #2 and a Uniball Micro. In fact you can see some pencil in most of these where i didnt erase well enough. Enjoy! If you feel so inclined to use it, just show me!

I did this for an assignment for college. We had to make/design a tattoo that we'd be willing to put on ourselves, and it had to have 5 distinct things, one of which animal and/or human. So I made a back tattoo (but it'll be a arm tattoo for this assignment ;>>)

so mine is wings, paintbrush, trillium lily hybrid flower, the latin word Tulipa Fortitudo, and cat

I'd say this tattoo would describe my "core" likes in a nutshell.

btw Tulipa Fortitudo has been used for 2 meanings. "Tulipa" is the genus name for Tulips, which happen to bloom around my birthday. "Fortitudo" means "strength".

I hope to upload more stuff for you guys as soon as I can

My first tribal design! Or, at least the first one I've submitted to devART. I've been having a bit of trouble trying to scan my real first one onto my computer for whatever reason.

Anyways, when I started this, my intention was to make something that looked feather like. For some reason that completely alludes me, I added the curls on the top, and it came out looking more like some kind of weird tulip thing then anything else. I suppose if I were to work on it a little more, I could make it look like a peacock feather, but I really like it as is. Ah well.

Feel free to use it as a tattoo if you'd like, just make sure to give me credit for it please! Oh, and take a pic of it and post the link here! Any spare points you might be willing to throw my way would be greatly appreciated.
