This is a redo of a logo proposal I did for Linux for the PSP. It didn't got used so I isolated the best part of the logo as PS/PDF. So you can edit it the "source code" of the logo and use it for your own Linux related designs.

This is a self portrait reflected in a tux!! You can make the comparison on the picture that I have in the frontpage, I added 2 rings in the ears. It's kinda funny looking at myself like this!! Thanks to overload59 by designing the tux base and thanks to my patience in order to create a selfportrait.

I know, I disappeared. I didn't die I promise.

The last quarter was nasty. And not sick nasty. Sooo. There hasn't been much time for me to do anything. Although my fall '08 line is sketched just not done.

But anyways. Here's Manders prom dress.

It's got thin plaid cotton or something for the base with lots of tulle underneath and a heavier canvas for the "overcoat" if you will.

The belt is a studded belt put together and made into a small corset like deal with ribbon to hold it together.

It's got lil coat tails with buttons on it and I hope you can tell its tuxedo inspired.

She's got lime green eyeliner :]

Admittedly, this necklace has nothing to do with the popular game franchise we are parodying for these promo pics. It'll always be one of my favorite game series, and I even miss the times I'd wait for the TV show (especially the Do The Mario segment at the end). Special thanks to our friends Super Melo ~BallistaShark and Super Lobaha ~Weakman for being our Super Mustachio Brothers!

As I have mentioned before, my friends and I design and assemble these necklaces ourselves. To motivate us to put even more effort and love into our work, we make necklaces that we ourselves would like to wear.

We thought of doing our own take on a mustache necklace because we have a habit of doing this for photos:

The ink can be troublesome sometimes so we've also tried alternatives. At one point we even had stick-on mustaches, but they got to be a bit uncomfortable under the nose after prolonged wear.

What do I have to say for dressing up as such? This:

Going back on topic this necklace actually has nothing to do with Twilight. We just took the opportunity to do a PARODY. (Suuuuper emphasis for the people who totally missed the joke) A lot of people are probably aware that Twilight vampire skin sparkles in the sun, but to my knowledge, their fangs do not. ~~(I do hope I am correct about this.)~~ _{Okay, apparently I was wrong. They do not have fangs at all. Wow. They really must be fairies.}

While we were designing, we just thought it would be cool to have a teeth and fangs silhouette pendant. And it does look quite striking as an everyday necklace. it's one of my favorites to wear on a regular basis. (As a bonus, it's also fun to hold up against your mouth while posing for photos.)

For those of you who have seen our other promo pics, you may notice that we have a habit of doing parodies of things that are even the slightest bit related to our designs. And so, the obvious choice for our fangs pendant was... you know it, bros. And okay, I know the hairstyle I chose isn't like that pasty guy's from the movie but I'm certainly not going to go through the effort of actually trying to replicate that. We were all having a hard enough time keeping ourselves from laughing when we needed to put on seeeeerioussssss faces.

This needs no explanation, except to say that Tux is the official logo penguin of the Linux operating system which is a project that was started by Linus Torvalds in 1991 .... etc. This is Tux with wings and a halo. The wings are hand-drawn, using a mouse and 2 layers in the GIMP, and the background is transparent. There is a version without the halo in my scraps.

^{Shirosuke: *cough cough* This is my fashion assignment for Goro~
The objective was "Design a male and a female version of an outfit that would look good being worn to a classy Ball."
I think that these outfits might be too fancy for a classy ball but I had lots of fun designing them.

About the designs:
I wanted to draw a mermaid dress (a straight dress that spreads at the bottom) so I made "Underwater" my theme in general. Everything should look like it's just flowing around and the wavy ends of the outfits should resemble corals in shape as well as in colour.
Also, the fabrics are thick velvet combined with transparent and light voile for better contrast.

Left: As just said, the female get's to wear a mermaid dress . The beige part is velvet while the orange ones are made out of slightly transparent but stiff voile. The shoes and the wristband are made of velvet as well with orange voile decorations.

Right: The colours of the suit aren't as colourful and bright, so as not to detract too much attention from the dress.

After all those covers I created in past few months, I came to an idea to create something that will be useful for a long period, and not just for few months, or year.
As all of you probably know, release cycle for most Linux distributions is quite short, so it's not that practical to change CD/DVD covers, or whatever package that is labelled with concrete disto version, every few months.

So I thought it would be nice to do something "universal", for a long period packaging of your favourite Linux OS. The idea is to create covers that will not include concrete version numbers (10.04, 10.10 for Ubuntu, 13, 14 for fedora, and so on...), but only some general, universal info about that specific distro.

So here is the first cover of that kind, and ofcourse the first one is made for Ubuntu.
This, ofcourse, doesn't mean that I will stop creating covers for concrete distro versions, but I think many people will appreciate this approach too.

As always, download it, print it, and enjoy!

CATS The Musical family tree

So I did a bunch of family trees in my earlier days as a cats fan. and decided I never got a chance to merge them all together, so I decided to make this. A Family tree from The Movie CATS, I might even decide to do another one with some of the cut cats, like Sillabub, Griddlebone etc.

Here is my theory on the relationships. Its very long so I did it by character, so you don't need to read it all XD

Macavity: I think Macavity is the oldest son of Old D and Griz. Macavity wants revenge on the tribe and Old D after He became corrupted by his powers and turned evil, Munkustrap was chosen instead of him to be the next jellcle leader because of this. His hatred grew after Munku mated with his past lover. He became corrupted by his powers and turned evil. Macavity is symbolic for his fathers Power.

Munkustrap: Munku is the middle child of old D, after Macavity became corrupt Munku was next in line, become of this he had to grow up quicker then most kittens, taking on a lot of pressure and responsibility from the tribe. He is always trying to impress his father and show him that he can handle the title of jellcle leader, even if Macavity was the original choice. Munkustrap is symbolic for his fathers Leadership and protection.

Rum Tum Tugger: Tugger Is the youngest of the three boys, Tugger found he could get away with being childish and irresponsible because of who his father is, and because Munku was always expected to be the responsible one. Tugger is symbolic for his fathers free spirit.

Grizzabella: When Grizabella was young she was the most beautiful and glamorous of the queens, everyone was stunned by her beauty and loved her for it. She later mated with Old D and gave him three sons. She began to regret settling down at a young age, until one day she left her sons and mate behind. At this time Macavity began acting out, The tribe is convinced that her leaving had a hand in Macavitys turn out, and they hate her for it.

Old Deuteronomy: Old D was the oldest in his litter so became the next leader. At a young age Old D fell in love with the Glamour cat, though he had a harem of queens he would only allow Grizz to bear his children. When Grizz left Old D was in charge of taking care of his three kids alone, because Macavity was the oldest he got little attention compared to the child, and infant. Old D holds no ill feelings towards his son despite all his wrong doings he waits with open arms for Macavity to return.

Mistoffelees: Mistoffelees is the son of Macavity, making him Old D's grandson. After Mistos mother was killed Victoria and Misto were taken in by their uncle Bustopherjones who taught Misto how to be a gentleman, and to have good ethics as he worried that his nephew would be corrupt like his father. Mistoffelees resents and fears his father and attempts to use his own magical ability's for good instead of evil. Mistoffelees has a very close relationship with his sister Victoria.

Victoria: Victoria is the younger sibling of Mistoffelees and Daughter to Macavity. When Victorias mother was killed she and her brother Misto moved in with Bustopherjones, Victoria got little attention since Busto would dedicate most of his time taming Misto, her cold mannerism is her trying to act proper and impress Bustopherjones. Victoria was the first to accept Grizzabella because she understood how it felt to be out casted and feared (because of who her father is) Misto was second for the same reason.

Bustopherjones: Busto was born to a high class family, although he does not visit the tribe as much as the others he is a respected member. When his sister died Busto grew a huge hatred and fear of Macavity, Busto does his best to keep Misto on the right path, although Victoria is not first priority he loves her a lot since she reminds him of his sister.

Bustopherjones Sister: Bustos sister grew up with her brother living a rich life, she grew curious of the world when she meet a rugged Tom named Macavity, she feel in love with the bad boy, leaving her cozy life for excitement and thrills. She later bore Macavitys 2 children Mistoffelees and Victoria. After the kits were born she was murdered by Macavity

Bustopherjones parents: I feel that Bustopherjones family has a dominant genes, with a long line of male tuxedos and pure white females. Bustos sister was mostly white (like Victoria) while Busto was a tux (like Misto)

Bombalurina: Bomba grew up with her sister Demeter, She is very promiscuous and loved by most toms, she is always looking for the spot light, even if that means stealing it from others. She seems to have a lot of rilvery with her sister though it does not effect the love the two have for each other. Bombas hate for Grizz stems from her title as the 'Glamour cat' a name Bomba would enjoy taking over, I also feel that Bomba blames Grizz for Macavitys downfall.

Demeter: Demeter grew up with her sister in the tribe. Demeter had a close romantic relationship with Macavity, I believe he was most open with her about his feelings before he became bad and this is why she is so familial with him. This relationship ended after Macavity turned evil and began abusing her, she still believes Macavity has some good in him although she knows better then anyone what he is capable of. Demeter later fell in love with Macavitys brother Munkustrap, the two mated and she gave birth to his daughter Jemima.

Jemima: Jemima is the only daughter of Munkustrap, originally the couple was hoping for a tom to take over the tribe after Munku. Munku is very protective of Jemima. Although she is young she is very intuitive, often singing her feelings to the tribe. Jem is the youngest in the tribe.

Gus: Full name is Asparagus. In his prime he was a famous theater Cat that played many roles, His most famous role was 'The fiend of the fell'. Gus is always telling story's about his famous years, Gus's son is Asparagus who was named after him, Gus's mate was most likely one of his many groupies. Gus is very proud of his son for having a beautiful mate and many children. He is very close to his daughter in law. I think Gus regrets being so focused on his acting career that he never found a life long mate.

Asparagus: Asparagus is named after his father Gus. Like his father he is a great actor and will take on the role of 'Growltiger' in honor of his fathers passing. Asparagus mated with Jellylorum and had 4 sons and 1 daughter, he is very much a family tom.

Jellylorum: Jellylorum is mated to Asparagus and is very close to her father in law Gus, she acts as a daughter he never had, and takes care of him in his old age. She is very responsible, and close to her family. WHen Gus passes she will take on the role of 'Griddlebone' with her mate Asp.

Plato: Plato is the second oldest son of Jellylorum and Asparagus. He is named after the greek philosopher 'Plato'. He is very flirtatious with the other queens, though he has special preferences for Victoria and loves to tease his younger siblings but feels very responsible for Etcetera. He does not chase the spotlight like many other cats and prefers to be in the background but is not shy to enter the spot light when he has to. Platos mate is Victoria.

Admetus: Admetus was named after Plato, greek philosophers brother Adeimantus. This is why I strongly believe they are brothers since the people they were named after are also brothers. Admetus is the oldest child of Asp and Jelly. He is very close with his mother, younger sister Etcetera and brother Plato.

Tumblebrutus: Tumble is very close with his mother Jelly and father Asp, He is a Daddy and Mommy's boy. He also seems close to Mistoffelees, and Skimbleshanks. Tumble is very responsible and mature for his age.

Etcetera: Growing up with a house full of boys Cetty is very tomboyish, and loud. She enjoys rough housing with the other kittens and is not afraid to get her paws dirty. She has a obsessive personality with bundles of energy. She is The Rum Tum Tuggers number 1 fan.

Pouncival: Pounce is often seen as the class clown, he is also teased the most though he trys to fit in with the crowd. He is a very rambunctious kit that is often seen hanging out with the queens more then the toms.

Skimbleshanks: Skimble is a very busy tom, taking his title as 'railway cat' very seriously. He acts like an uncle to all the young kittens who love listening to the storys of his travels. Skimble is a very stern father to Electra, always teaching his daughter right from wrong. I also believe he is a father figure to Rumpleteazer. I think Skimble was originally from Scotland, that would enplane his accent.

Jennyanydots: Jenny is also very busy, taking her title as 'Gumbie cat' very seriously. She is very stern with all the kittens, teaching them right from wrong. Jenny is very respected by the adults, Bustopherjones seems to have a liking for her, while Old D seems to hold her in high regards.

Electra: Because Jenny and Skimble had such busy lives they only got around to having one kit, Electra is a huge tomboy. Because her parents are so stern she often rebels against them, playing innocent pranks on the other tribe members, she is very close friends with Etcetera and Rumpleteazer.

Rumpleteazer: with Mungojerrie she is the most notorious of the cats. always getting into mischief and causing the other cats grief, despite this she is still liked very much. She is very close to Electra. I see Rumpleteazer having a history thieving for Macavity alongside her brother. Rumpleteazer is the more playful out of the duo, often blowing their cover, making the due talented get away artists.

Mungojerrie: Mungo works in a duo with his sister Rumpleteazer, I see him being the lead of the duo, deciding what places to heist and keeping Rumple from blowing cover. He is very fun and humorous, but during jobs he can get very serious. He loves to take all the credit for himself.

Rumple and Mungos parents: I believe they were criminals for Macavity who were murdered by him when the twins were to young to remember, the duo had to fend for themselves causing them to stray to a life of crime.

Coricopat: Cori is the male in the set of mystical twins, both siblings are in sync with each other and have greater senses then the rest of the cats. They are often seen as mysterious, and spiritual.

Tantomile: Tanto is the Queen of the mystical twins, like her brother she has higher senses then the other jellcles. she is also very mysterious and spiritual. Tanto is the more social of the twins, although neither of them interact with anyone much she is seen dancing in 'Macavity' with the other queens and 'Skimbleshanks' with the group of cats

Exotica: Exo is not seen much in the play so it is hard to make out much of a personality of family life, though I believe she is very mysterious, intentionally avoiding attention, I feel that she is also very sensitive like the twins. Exotica looks very much like Cassandra, this is why I think they are siblings.

Cassandra: Cassandra is a very elegant queen, she is always posing, and looking her best. She does not have patients for stupidity or pranks, she is very self-centered. she is often seen as mystical, since she was chosen as Mistoffelees assistant. Cassandra is mated with Alonzo.

Alonzo: Alonzo is close friends with Munkustrap, he is often seen patrolling with him, and is second to fight Macavity once Munku falls, Alonzo is also very close with Plato. Like Cassandra Alonzo is also very self-centered and flirtatious, he is seen flirting with almost every queen at one point or another. Lonzo is mates with Cassandra.

Rumpus cat: Is only seen for a short while, I believe he loves attention and often exaggerates the story's of his greatness, though I do think for a cat he is very strong. Rumpus is sometimes seen as just a character played by Admetus. I think he gets on a lot of the older cats nerves but is respected none-the less.

Custom Wedding Invites

Here's a preview of the custom wedding invitations that I've been so busy working on the last six weeks! By the way, I'm open for another invite commission...

All supplies were purchased from local craft and office supply stores. All floral design brushes and map work were custom made by me. And of course, I cut, glued, printed, etc. everything myself. The font was from dafont.com.

The couple is to be married on an overlook in a wildlife prairie park and were going for a casual-contemporary style with a nature theme.

The invitations were also to incorporate the various colors of the wedding: grey-blue (bridesmaids dresses), chocolate brown (men's tuxes), celery green (accent color), and antique white (bridal gown). We managed to get every one of the colors into the invite!

Please forgive the poor color quality, my scanner is dying a painful death...the blurriness is deliberate as I didn't want too much private information showing.

(1) Front of Wedding invite: chocolate cardstock with floral scrapbooking paper embellishments. Text is printed in brown ink on a white vellum overlay. Hand-tied grey-blue organza ribbon.

(2) Back of Wedding invite: Three inserts secured to the back of the invitation with a loop of the floral scrapbooking paper.

(3) Back of the Wildlife Prairie Park Card: Warm grey cardstock with text printed in brown and grey-blue ink. Front of card not shown as it is just text with paragraphs printed in alternating blue and brown ink.

(Not Shown Individually) RSVP card: Natural Cardstock (similar to a thin cardboard, back with RSVP info/return address/stamp area printed in brown ink. Front has a custom floral design to match the scrapbooking paper as well as the couples' names.

Dresses designed, and constructed by me. made completely out of Duct tape. blue (me) tux (paige).

tux is done as a two piece top with a removable vest to imitate a tux, details include small tux pocket, cuffs, duct tape rose, and bow tie and textured shirt.

She makes amazing Chris/Lara images so I wanted to throw this out there for her! I made like 3 of these pictures but this one was my favorite.

I made this Chris ages ago, I am really super proud of him. He was a request by so I'm not releasing him. You can't see his tux very well but hes just amazing. I also had to made Lara a Wedding dress as you can barely see here. The original model was made by Matty-Croft
