For this album cover, I decided to try and copy *Foxy-Noxy's style, as seen mainly on most of his comics and other stuff. While making the cover I thought of how he executed it perfectly - simplicity always does its best on just about anything!

"It'll Be OK" comes from the 8th episode of the abridged MLP-FiM-based web series Friendship is Witchcraft ("Foaly Matripony"). Appearing to borrow a line from "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" by American recording artist Katy Perry, its creepy but catchy lyrics tell the story between Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor in an out-of-context, crazy-ridonkulous, and bizarrely weird kind of way, as if it was a Romeo-and-Juliette-sort-of love story.

The setting (where this photo was taken) in this album cover was the same place in which Robbie Williams filmed a part of his music video of Bodies: Mojave Air and Space Port, specifically in the area's aircraft boneyard.

In an October 2010 interview with Q magazine, Williams considered the song's lyrics to be pointless, explaining:

["Bodies" is] a great track but the lyrics are f***ing gibberish. You look at them and go, 'Stop watching documentaries, you knob.' Who knows what I was going on about? I was f***ing stoned. The edge had gone.

Brony DJ and musician Spacebaseloop (~spacebase) is releasing a brand new track - DOUBT. Inspired by the fan-made MLP:FiM episode Double Rainboom, the instrumental has a pounding bass drum to resemble the heart and, accompanied with a pulsating synthesizer, goes all out with adrenaline pumping into the blood. It is, indeed, Rainbow Dash's doubt that leads this song.

So what d'you guys think about this being my new adoptable-GG/design template? The lines, I mean. I've been meaning to "update" the old lines, and I kept trying to do a trotting pose, but every time I started to line the sketches they started looking stupid. I'm on a "standing" pose kick right now, too, so maybe that's it -- but anyways, I drew this instead.

Caroline is for sale! To bid on her, just go ahead and do some art of her, in whatever medium you like.

You can change her barn name and/or her registered name, but if you choose to do the latter I'll be picky about that. You're also welcome to design her other side, under her mane, etc., and I won't mind if you get creative with details (dappling, Ben D'or spots, blue/partial-blue eyes, etc.).

You can't change her pedigree, height, sex, breed, or genotype; please credit me as the designer. Her age is sort of up for grabs, but she should be at least 7 or 10 years old. If you end up not winning the art auction and you've significantly changed the design (all fields below + appearance), I certainly don't mind seeing new Grandes added to the #dA-IGGHR! Caroline is a tall, big-boned, high-carriage type of mare with the bulk to do solid work and the grace to win solid blues. Her legs are correct, her shoulder is deep, and her hindquarters are well-angled and strong. The one thing we'd change about her is her back -- it's a touch long, but as long as she's reminded to carry herself from behind it's not a major fault. The theme is "My Little Pony: Ponies vs. Villains" (it's just non villain characters at this point), so I decided to do a nice design of the mane six
From left to right it's Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity. And I decided to add what each element each pony represented (and I made the decision to include my own handwriting as the print so it'd have a little bit of personality to it, rather than just do a standard, boring font because I was afraid it'd ruin the design altogether ;~; )

I started the album cover last month in April, but I was unsure of which pony I wanted in there. Rainbow Dash was supposed to be in there as I used her for the last couple of Robbie Williams pony album covers, but after looking at a Facebook comment on a page of the lyrics to "Candy," I chose Fluttershy instead. She's got some of the qualities mentioned by Robbie in the lyrics (below), and well suits for the role of 'Candice'.

Watercolor splatters were in full force for this cover.

On RW's official website, he posted a blog entry regarding the lyrics to "Candy" and decoding them, explaining their meaning. You can find that post here.

Brothers is the sixth studio album by American rock duo The Black Keys. Co-produced by the group, Mark Neill, and Danger Mouse, it was released on May 18, 2010 on Nonesuch Records. I gave Glazes Logo a little different look, and made it her colors, the brown in the Wood and the grayish silver in Toaster fit perfectly, as well as Glaze's Cutie Mark (A burning wooden toaster) in the "D" of Wooden, the Rainbow Falls and Factory Presses below the Brony Musician Classification gave it the Rainbow Factory feel, and the OC's Cutie Mark is fully visible to the right, the dark lining around the fire says "WT" for WoodenToaster and the black specks are Soot from the fire, I hope you ALL ENJOY it.

Update: 5/4/13 For better convenience (especially you Glaze) I retook the picture, better quality now. Changed to "Custom"

Hall Of Elements WIP 03

LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK! Map being created for SFM.

Threw Twilight in for scale. The hall is... big. This picture is not using any additional SFM lighting like the others. The lighting is from the map.

Changes from 02:
-Flower Pots! Created by THEY IS SO PRETTY!
-White arches with net thing (the back left one "has" a net, but the distance LoD kicked in)
-Arches simplified. The old setup was messy and wouldn't connect right. Going to redo, so just wiped for now
-Hall extended in two directions and area closed off
-Red carpet width expanded a bit (one tile each side)
-Flags were modified to reduce poly count

To-Do:
-Fix hole in ceiling (you can't see it, but where the halls meet there is no ceiling yet )
-Have the stained glass alternate around the corners
-Still add more detail to ceiling
-Realign some of the wall textures
-Probably add a bumpmap to the diamond ceiling texture. Looks to plain.
-Figure out what is wrong with the flower pot texture. Loads fine everywhere but in the map editor. Appears black in SFM unless added as a model. It is just Source being picky.
-Add more detail for the hall doors (that is not the "main" door in the background; that will be at the intersection of the 3 halls, about where the camera is positioned).

I spent the majority of today just optimizing the map. It desperately needed it. So much so, it would not render . Poly count is probably 1/5th of what is was before. Also, this is a quick render of the map. A full render will actually look even better, but takes hours to complete (quick render takes about 3-4 minutes). Waiting for final to do that.

So is this looking pretty awesome or what?

Submitted this one to SFM-Ponies Group now as I feel the hall itself is near completion (though it will still be a fairly long while before anything is released).

For those who are wondering - yes, that's ME on the cover! I shot three different photos of myself for the cover and put them together, as if there we're three "me's" on it.

But that's not even scientifically possible!

I know, Twiley, I know...

Recorded during the summer of 1991, ‘Let’s Get To It’ was Kylie’s last studio album for PWL. Combining soul, dance, house and techno influences, ‘Let’s Get To It’ allowed Kylie to develop her songwriting even further with six tracks co-written with Mike Stock.

Released in October of that year to coincide with the tour of the same name, ‘Let’s Get To It’ received rave reviews from the UK’s most credible music journals but debuted at No. 15.

Notes
The Summer Breeze 7" Edit of Word Is Out was used for the Australian release.

Closer, the B-side to Finer Feelings, is not to be confused with the track of the same name from Minogue's 2010 album, Aphrodite.

PonyMon Preview

Alright, time for a little preview for the thing that I mentioned in my last journal, the thing that has eaten a lot of my time recently: PonyMon.

It started as a final project for my Java course at school, and I co-coded it with my classmate. Now the course has finished, and we got the best grade without needing to attend the final exam, thanks to this game. And, if you couldn't tell, the game is a blatant Pokemon clone.

Anyways, the game is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar from completion, and I'm working alone now (summer break and all). There's lot to do, but I'm gonna release an alpha version soon, as a downloadable game.

The alpha will have the following features:
-Selectable starting pony (one of the mane 6)
-max party size of four
-you can add any enemy pony you encounter to your party by 'befriending' them when they have low health (if your party isn't full, that is)
-world where you can move and enemies challenge you if they see you
-talking to nurse pony will heal your whole party/restore PP of attacks/abilities
-open a party menu and rearrange the order of your ponies
-in the fight mode you can:
*use four different attacks (starting with one available attack, more unlocked via gaining levels)
*use two different abilities (healing, stat boosts)
*change your fighting pony
*'befriend' enemy pony

Notable still missing features:
-ground areas with random enemies popping up
-saving/loading
-lots of sprites to do
-any kind of attack animations
-more attacks, the current damage curve is kinda steep
-more ponies
-non-pony enemies
-loading maps from files (basically, rewriting the whole map loading/rendering part)
-any kind of story (lolololo)

Shortly put; the code is messy and the amount of sprites to do is massive! But I don't care, cuz it works!

So, uh, yeah... the purpose of this preview is to find out if you people out there are interested in playing a game like this, or if I should waste my time with something else.

All graphics you see in the screenshots are made by me, save for the pony vectors in the battle screen which I snatched from the #MLP-VectorClub.

The 'Fighting is Magic' Mugen Project

Hi Everypony. Ra lord here! I've started a new Project for the free fighting game 'MUGEN', more Specifically, 'The Fighting is Magic' MUGEN Project, where we are to recreate the game 'Fighting is magic' Mane6 started awhile ago, before they we're denied by Hasbro later on. As much as this is a tribute to the original creators of the FIM, this can hopefully be turned into a community project and even try finish what they started.

Pony Defense At Fan Castle

Well well, if it isn't a crossover between Dynasty Warriors X MLP FiM itself. I always wanted to imagine a battle like this. (Though I'm not much of a map maker and stuffs. )

So what would the plot be for this one? For me, let's just say Twilight has doubts on Cao Pi since he's trusted by Princess Celestia on the destiny to unify the mixed land of the Three Kingdoms (AKA China ) and parts of Equestria. Sima Zhao leads his own faction and although an enemy of Cao Pi, he wishes Twilight to trust Cao Pi regardless how he does. Therefore, he decides to attack. But when he sieges at Fan Castle, Cao Pi surrounded the castle with his troops. Then, Twilight uses this opportunity to defect to Sima Zhao and tries to route his army even with Rarity in it, apologizing to her about her doubts.

So about the "officers", Trixie would be a stratergist for Cao Pi since she's like a rival match to Twilight obviously. Rarity would just be an ordinary unique officer, but she could stop Spike from advancing. (LOVE IS BEAUTY ) Other than that, she could have a special conversation with Cao Pi.

And no, if I were to be in charge of a DW x MLP FiM game, the only ones that will have their life taken away, if you know what I mean, are the humans/warriors only. )
