How many of you knew I was going to put them all together like this? Hehe, I planned this out from the beginning which is why I couldn't add wolves of metal, light, darkness, etc like people suggested.

I am finally done with the wolf series! WOOT! Now if enough people request it, I might print some as postcards to sell and donate the profits to wolf protection programs.

We were loosing the battle against the Bone Picker demon, Our healers were becoming exhausted from casting healing spells, and our strength were running low, it seemed like the end for our journey...

We were lucky though, really lucky.

A rain of feathers pierced through the demons' body, destroying its heart and its weapon, which were the 2 sources of its life.

We looked above and saw the radiant goddess flying away, leaving a trail of lights.

the oldest of us said her name was Dinah, though known as a fallen angel, she is also famous for being kind to people with a good heart.

Worked on Snow White and the Hunstman doing concepts during pre-production and some production, this is one of the earliest concepts I did for Revanna the queen who was played MAGNIFICENTLY by Charlize Theron.

Not sure when I can post the rest of my work, but I see they've been using this one in marketing so I think it's ok.

We left the battlefield of the bone pickers and the army and continued to the great plains, we travelled for a day and camped again at dusk.

around the camp fire we talked about seeing two of the most menacing figures in our world, and we talked about the others that we havent seen.

This was one of those we talked about, Ophiel, the other fallen angel, who is said to be merciless, unlike Dinah who saved us.

This is not meant to be educational. I've studied angels for years and took things from various theories and added some of my own and ended up with this for my story. If you want something closer or further away from traditional angels, make you own.

Angels
Their job is to act as guarding angels for humans, or simply deliver messages from heaven. Because they spend so much time on earth, they are by far the most human, and they don't have a strong need to return to God after their job is done. As a result they suffer from a lot of the same things as humans, such as confusion, doubt, sadness, temptation, and even lust. However, they try to stay chaste and are proud to be virgins.
Everything is very personal and about their human to them, and they will sometimes do immoral things for the sake of the person they watch over.

Archangels
They are a lot like normal angels, only they rule over them and are a lot more full of themselves. Their true form can be quite scary, and they often have to tell humans "Fear not" when they first encounter them because even in their human-friendly form they still have an aura of something powerful and unsettling about them. They too deliver messages and protect humans, but only holy or otherwise important people.

Rulers
They protect the religion, and will not take kindly to blasphemy. They also carry out the Powers' orders.

Powers
They like to say no angel has ever fallen from their ranks, but non other than Lucifer himself ruled them once. They fight demons and keep them out of Heaven, but they also have power over them and often use demons to do the dirty work they don't want to be blamed for later. Not surprisingly they don't have the best reputation and the Dominions keep a close eye on them.

Virtues
They mainly help the Dominions and inform the angels what their jobs are.

Dominions
Rules over all angels under them. They are the highest ranking angels who contact humans fairly regularly, but they are never pleased to leave Heaven and will try to do their job as quick as possible. They don't care for individual humans' faiths, and only see the big picture of things.

Cherubim and Wheels
Have by far the strangest true forms and are closely connected to each other. They always move together as if they were one, and when a Cherub take on a human form, his Wheel appears as a disk on his chest. They have no patience for humans and rarely (if ever) leaves Heaven.

Seraphim
By far the least human. They are the closest to God and only cares for praising him. If they leave his side and take a human form, they will only be looking up towards Heaven, muttering God's name between sentences, and doesn't wear clothes. Not a problem though, because they are sexless.

keeping names as secret for now. as all the ??? are.

the Original was the one on our right. the one on the left is flipped.

there are differences in color variation and other minor, tiny changes. if you are bored, have fun looking for them. =]

if you do, the ones on the upper body are TINY, those on the lower body is obvious. oh, and the color of the stockings on both legs count as 1. including this, 8 differences all together.

oh, uh, dont type out the things you found. XD might spoil it for others.

The trial will count the balance of a person's karma in life. If the balance shows that good karma is dominant, she is cleansed from sins and may enter the Heaven, but if the weight of bad karma falls heavy, that person is required to face the testament to purge the soul before continuing with the next life cycle.

CONCEPTUAL NOTE
We humans are always shackled by chains of sin. We do acts that violated religious and moral values, sometimes we do it on purpose and sometimes it just an accidental act. But slowly, those chains of karma will drag us deeper and corrupted the soul. Thats why its only nature that humans seek for salvation, pledging their faith upon higher being such as god and other religious figures.

In time, human faith and loyalty will be tested, whether the person deserves to be saved, or they are just going to be marked as a sinner and must spend their torment in the afterlife. This reality makes some people to be very afraid of sins that they choose to live their live strictly following the value of their religious. They do only what their religious leader commands, and abandoning all others that not on their book of righteous thing to do even sometimes it against what their heart tells.

But by pledging our loyalty to the chosen god and religious, do we really going to be saved? Does our faith will truly bring salvation? Can the reason of salvation justified humans to fight each other, or sacrifice anything, just to uphold in the name of our dear god?

So what are we humans actually? Are we just toys that are being played by gods? Will we be punished if we do not obey the rule of the gods? Maybe we are just souls that can carve our own destiny. If that so, at least we know that we are humans

ARTIST NOTE
This piece was inspired by Joan of Arc for her perseverance of faith to God and for the faith that carved in our own heart. She was a character that symbolizes with many characteristic, one that really famous was a demonic fanatic and in the same time adored heroine and saint. But the closest truth maybe that she was just naive and had become a tragically ill-used tool of the mighty creator. After she was captured, she insisted all of her action even when threatened with torture and faced with death by fire, was guided by voices from God. Even at the time of her execution, she asked for a cross, declared that the voices came form God and she had not been deceived. And thus her story of faith became a legend that lives eternally.

begining of a healing process.

:HOON's official Sunday afternoon ritual: its been a while i ve done a color piece, as well as my weekly speed painting ritual. a few days ago i opened up a canvas with lineart in it. but i simply wasnt able to place colors on it which made me think im losing touch with my inner-colorful-side Xp. for a while now, i was simply focusing on lineart only since talented juji is there to back me up, as far as painting is concerned. however, this little study of lighting and blending color was more than satisfying. playing with color is great fun, something quite different from lineart.

14 Angels and Demons

EDIT: Seriously people, stop trying to correct me on this one. I've studied angels and demons intensely for years, so I know pretty much all the things you're telling me. I was just having fun with this.

There's different versions of who the archangels are, but I just went with the version in my archangel book. Some believe that Gabriel is a woman, and I went with it for the hell of it.

I know Lucifer and Satan are often said to be the same person, but according to some demonology they are different demons.

And all other questions you may have about why I drew them this way can be answered with a simple "Because I wanted to"

BACKGROUND STORY
Shea'Rin is an exotic blade dancer, a private performer for His Majesty the King of Ba'er Haerun. It is said that no men can resist her charm as she is the most perfect creation a god has ever made. Her beauty is beyond words. Her pair of aquamarine eyes sooth every heart of man that lays eyes upon hers. Each of her moves is so graceful that it allures every man into their deepest imagination of her. Like a whisper of delirium, the present of Shea'Rin casts the sanity out of any man that is watching her.

Shea'Rin is an exceptional performer, but no man other than His Majesty the King of Ba'Er Haerun himself has the privilege to see her dancing. To the King, she is priceless, valuable more than thousand jewels and gold, a trophy that he would not share with other. Thus, the stories of Shea'Rin becomes tales, spoken among all men that could only dream to see her performing the enchanting dance, as somehow no man has ever succeed to see the forbidden dance.

The tales of Shea'Rin travel far, reaching the Damarian Wasteland at the farthest South of the Ba'er Haerun. The vast badlands has become a perfect hideout for a band of desert raiders that called Shu'har. This group of four hundred vile criminals is lead by Uzhaku Rahaban, a ruthless and cunning barbarian. His greed of wealth and psychotic obsession for beautiful maidens has brought endless terrors to Ba'Er Haerun. Imperial troops have never succeeded to put an end to their reign of terror as they're cunningly strikes only at night and hide themselves at the wasteland when the morning comes. For years, Uzhaku and his men had killed more than thousands of villagers, rampaging their treasures, and abducting hundreds of maiden, forcing those young woman to fulfill those barbarian's ill desire. Mercy never crossed their black hearts as they would slay the maidens when they are no longer satisfying.

The tale of Shea'Rin at Uzaku's ears has made him overwhelmed by ecstasy, he dreams of having the most beautiful maiden in the kingdom to serve him. So in the next full month, Uzhaku orders all of his men to abduct as many maidens as they can from the kingdom and demand that the Kings hand over his most beloved dancer in exchange for the release of one hundred maidens that are currently in Shu'har's possession. Otherwise, he will kill all those maidens and kidnapped a hundred more until the King fulfilled his demand.

Knowing how dreadful this issue is, Shea'Rin herself asked the king to submit to the raiders' demand. On the next morning, a couple of raiders take her away to meet Uzhaku. After a day walk in the heat of the desert, she arrives at the present of the barbarian leader. At the moment Uzhaku laid his eyes upon the beautiful dancer, he is overjoyed by her exquisite look and charm. He had been told about the beauty of Shea'Rin, but what he sees at the moment is far beyond what he had imagined. Uzhaku instantly fell in love with Shea'Rin. He commands the beautiful dancer to strip off her clothes and blades, Shea'Rin complies to the wish of Uzhaku without hesitation but she insists that she would need the blades in order to perform her dance. Uzhaku is about to hesitate, but he was too arrogance, a girl with a few blades will surely be harmless in front of four hundred armed men, so he let her to keep her blades.

Uzhaku's men lit fire torches in circle, preparing the stage for the dancer's performance. With the blades in her hands, Shea'Rin performs what Uzhaku and all of his men have been waiting for. That dawn, all of the raiders are thrilled with joy and ectasy as Shea'Rin dances beautifully, so graceful and mesmerizing. Her blades dance around as they are having their own lives, flowing in harmony with her every move. It makes all eyes of men stare without a single blink, dragging their mind out of their bodies, and bringing all men to frenzy with the excitement.

But unknown to Uzhaku and his men, Shea'Rin is not just an ordinary blade dancer. She is the imperial most elite assassin, a specialist in killing male objectives. The reason that no men was ever allowed to see her dance was not because she is the King's private dancer, instead she had slain all men that ever had the chance to see her dancing. The exotic dance itself is her method of assassination, to draw her victims in delirium and rendering them vulnerable for her to kill.

Having every of her audiences fallen in delirium, her dancing suddenly become lethal. Her blades cut off Uzaku's head, dropping it to the ground. Uzhaku was the first one to be sleeping in hell that night, followed almost instantly by all of his men as the blades keep swinging with her dancing, cutting off more heads and limbs from their bodies. She strikes so fast that no men have ever realized they have been killed by her blades. At the end of dawn, Shea'Rin finished her dancing and slain every one of the four hundred raiders. The Shu'har's years of terror ends in a single night with a sole delirium.

THE BLADES
Shea'Rin carries an armament of 4 blades - Pain, Pride, Grace and Glory.
Pain and Pride is a pair of blades made by Japanese master blacksmith, Taketzu Hanzo. These two blades are made especially for Shea'Rin. Pain ('Kutsuu') is a zweihander, a type of two handed sword, but its weight is light enough to be held by one hand. This large blade is made to inflict as many pain to its victim instantly kill the target in agony if not killed instantly by the wound it caused.
Pride ('Hokori') is a kodachi, a blade shorter than katana but longer than wakizashi. This blade is made to match with the wielder's height as length of the blade will virtually give no blind spot when used in defense. Easy to say Pride is her impenetrable shield. As a blade dancer, Shea'Rin must keep her armor light to be able to perform her dancing, so she must rely on her blades as her defense. Pride provides very exceptional usage is parrying all incoming attacks.

Grace and Glory are twin long swords, imperial sacred blades that Shea'Rin received from His Majesty the King of Ba'er Haerun for her service to the kingdom. These beautifully crafted blades are also a symbol of the highest imperial enforcer authority, as these blades can only be wield by the most skilled fighter of the Kingdom of Ba'er Haerun. These twin blades are very light and harmonious, making the wielder to be able to flawlessly attacking and parrying at the same time.

All of Shea'Rin's blades are coated with a special poison. This intoxicating potion itself is not lethal and smells like a lovely perfume, but it instantly renders male nerves to temporary dysfunction, much like the effect of a sleeping drug. This is also why she will never draw her blades unless she is going to assassinate her targets.

TRIVIA OF BLADE DANCERS
Only females are qualified for the profession of imperial blade dancer. These elite level fighters have the highest swords skill of all fighter classes and they can move incredibly fast to strike their foes down. These Middle Eastern fighters are famous with their swordplay that resembles beautiful dancing but are extremely lethal. They are very agile, moving with grace and skill while slaying their foes down.

The strength of a blade dancer is quite impressive although may not as powerful as Barbarian or Gladiator class. Blade dancers are lightly armored fighters, thus giving them very little protection. They compensate their lack of armor with high agility and excellent parrying skill. It is almost impossible to defeat a blade dancer in one on one fight. Blade dancers usually carry more than one sword, as they excel in fighting with dual swords.
