This will be the retro in the future; contemporany headphones like skullcandy, and maybe some kind of radiocassettes, that ones full of skateboarding stickers that we use to had in our rooms when we were teenagers. Also discmans and minidiscs. I loved my minidisc! Till Ipod destroyed it!!

About the colors; I just felt to do something more like fast. I love cell shading styles, and I wanted to try a full picture in this kind of coloring. I think I'll be doing more of this kind.

Her back story was that she was once human but after dying at a young age, her body was given to the secret government program that usually takes the remains of certain deceased and "revive them with artificial technology. and since they were already considered "dead"and identity-less they were made into secret agents or spies . Her Code name is Medus,her hair is made of tough ma liable material, and is in penetrable by bullets or beams XD;;;

Probably even my main inspiration behind LMS, as he is a badass bounty hunter.

Long Time without postin on DA, but not been out, just I've been busy and doind some shits trying to give a personal style.

The color version!!

Well, this is the Wok of Enzo, a good place to can take fast food if you're flying through the floating Orange Town. Taken the idea from a book called "Invisible cities" were the main character explain to his king how looks his kingdom. There wasn't a futuristic foating city, but my imagination got mad and I needed to do this. This illustration its a school project.

I've spent a lot of time doing this, more than I thought I could spend. I think the result is needing something ellse, maybe one or two more starships, and...dont really know

Ha pasado bastante tiempo, pero no he estado ausente del todo. Durante este tiempo he estado intentando mejorar mi estilo y demas historias, pero aun me queda mucho camino.

Bueno, aqui es donde encontramos a nuestro amigo Enzo en su paradita de comida ráida, situada en una de las avenidas de Orange Town, la Ciudad Flotante. La idea la he sacado de un libro que se llama "Las ciudades invisibles" en el que el protagonista le cuenta a su rey que aspecto tienen las ciudades de su imperio. En el libro no aparece ninguna ciudad futurista, pero se me disparo bastante la imaginacion y este es el resultado. Esto es un trabajo para la escuela

La verdad es que el coloreado me ha costado muchisimo mas de lo que me esperaba... estoy hecho polvo, pero me lo he pasado bien.

The dA user SneakyRaty suggested dragon vs modern soldiers, so here we go. Not my usual cup of tea but it was fun, tried to go for a cinematic Michael Bayish feel. And thanks everyone else for all the great suggestions, I might do another one later on, you gave me a lot of ideas!

this started out life when i decided i loved the anime series so much that i wanted my very own poster of it...so i thought i would make one

i suppose this scene was inspired by episode 4 in 2nd GIG (GITS fans know the one i mean) theres an amazing scene at the end where kusanagi and her tachikoma are chased under a hail of bullets from one of the Hornet attack copters...so i painted my version of that

and dont feel so sorry for the tachikoma...its just a shell.

i made a helmet base in 3DS max, then painted on top in Photoshop, the texture work, lighting and details is painted in PS, Face is painted too.
Work time was about 4 days, dont remember how many H.
3D base saved time tho.

This is a commissioned piece I did for "Neo York", a collaborative art book project by Freestyle Collective [link] and IdN [link] , to be released in the next couple of months. Completely done in Corel Painter X. I truly believe that an artwork should speak for itself, it has to work even if the viewer doesn't read an instruction manual or the biography of the artist.

Years ago I watched a Danish program where a clairvoyant mentioned that Denmark had a lot of “Star People” but didn’t specify what that was. I thought she meant “star gazers” (babies that a born facing upwards).

Then a couple of months ago I watched an American program where an English clairvoyant was visiting sights around America. At one point he got out of the car in a small town and said, “Interesting. This town has 8 or 9 Star People. That’s unusual”
“What are Star People?” the host asked.
“A higher race of beings who are visiting us from far away stars, and are born as humans. They’re quite rare in America so it’s really impressive that a small town like this has that many”
“Don’t they like our president?” the host joked.
“Maybe” he smiled “They’re born all over the world, but for some reason most of them choose Scandinavia”
“What are they doing there?”
“Nobody knows, but it’s quite overwhelming how many go there. In fact, last time I visited Denmark two years ago, 1 out of 5 people were Star People, and the number seems to be increasing. I’ve been told it’s the same in Sweden and Norway, and a lot of Star People who were born in other places are drawn to the countries. We are many who are just waiting to see what happens”

Then they started talking about something else, but the mental picture of Scandinavians as aliens is quite funny.

So be afraid, great nations of the world! For we have come to conquer the Earth, and will not rest before every man, woman and child eats pickled herring, visits Legoland every year and rests in Ikea furniture! MUWAHAHAHAHA!!! [link]

Hey guys,

where do I begin... I rarely have time for personal stuff these days. As some of you may have seen already I am working with Radical comics and director Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy) on a graphic novel set to be released sometime next year. That + a few other freelance gigs is keeping me pretty busy these days, but after seeing District 9 last week I just HAD to make some fan art. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that movie, I thought it was absolutely fantastic and brilliant in every way and I can't wait to see it again. Now I know there are inaccuracies all over the place but I had almost no reference pics to look at and a limited amount of hours to spend on it so... Hope you dig it anyways.

I also want to thank everyone for all the comments, faves and notes I recieve, and I'm truly sorry that I don't have the time to answer you all.. :/ It's just impossible for me right now.... But I appreciate it, you know that!

Also, if you manage to figure out the nonhuman language at the bottom you might be able to figure out the story of the painting.

Old Submarine

Just some newer picture done for my mate's project. Its a scene from post-apocalyptic future. The theme is really great for me, so there will be more pictures soon. Older damaged submarine is repaired to use it as energy source.

Done in some 25 hours, was a bit complicated painting. I used many photos of the actual dockyard for an inspiration.

It's not obvious, but the image is of a futuristic robot, that is fascinated with psychiatry, psychology and other human related stuff. He just want to be a real boy :''D lolers

Took soooo long (started it about 5 weeks ago loool), bad habit of doing teensy little bits at a time.

Anyway, it's 11pm and Im too tired to write much more..

edit Some people have mentioned that my work looks a lot like Asuke11's piece 'Manikin.. something' (I can't remember the title D: )

I actually started this project before that deviation was submitted, and was utterly shocked when I saw it XD At that point I wasn't sure whether to give up on the idea or not.. but I carried on, using no reference to her work whatsoever.

I wasn't sure whether to submit this deviation or not because people may think I stole the idea..
Unfortunately I have no proof that I started this before D: So it may be that I will end up having to reference her whether I like it or not, to escape having the deviation deleted or recieve more accusations.

Hey guys, updating this with a more detailed crop. Really fell in love with the comp of this one so decided to change it over to the original

Here is one of the main characters of that sci fi book I was telling you about. I wanted to create kind of a deep sea/tropical fish/mixed with some type of native of this aquatic planet. I fell in love with the hair idea, as if it was a fish tail..and the rest just came form that.

As for the story she came from, the more I think about it, the less I want to do it. The story is starting to share too many similiarities with some big sci fi movies coming out this year and next, so I want to keep it as fresh as possibile.

But I got a better idea for it...

Done last year in PS CS 4 in about three days..
