This unique, hand sculpted, fully poseable, fantasy "Moon Dust Bear" is a rare piece of artwork being offered up for bid! This is a completely hand made fantasy creature. I hand sculpted the face and paws onto a posable skeleton that I made and wrapped with stuffing so its very soft. I then paint the clay parts with acrylics and small brushes. The eyes are hand painted as well.. Synthetic hand dyed fur.

There is not another creature like this in the world!

I do not use molds, casts or patterns, each is fully hand made and original. Enjoy!

Yacht Book Sculpture

Commissioned piece. I was contacted about doing a sculpture of a yacht. I'm thinking, "cool, power boat, never done one of those before" and asked for a picture of the specific yacht they'd like done. Well, I received a photo of a MASSIVE ship back. Not exactly what I was thinking, but it was a beautiful ship. I got as close as I could. I'm rarely around boats, especially those of this size so I'm not clear on all of the rigging. The ship is made from the paper of the book excluding the ropes holding the front sails. I had to use a thin wire for those in order to keep the tension.

So in my head canon, Optimus Prime is not a morning person. On a typical day, he stumbles into the lounge, and plops down across from his executive officer, not even bothering to notice that he’s sitting at one of the smaller bots’ tables. Then the conversation goes something like this:

“Prowl,” Prime mutters.

Prowl does not look up from his data pad. “Yes, Prime?”

“I order you to abolish mornings, effective immediately.”

“We are not abolishing mornings, effective ever,” Prowl replies evenly.

Optimus Prime heaves a sigh, his optics bleary. “But…Megatron always gets what he wants.”

“Well,” Prowl takes a sip of his morning ration, his optics still locked onto his data pad, “we can’t all be Megatron now, can we?”

Kota Kinabalu vacation paintings set

i just came back from a one-week break from east malaysia, kota kinabalu. it is a very relaxing time to paint and muse. i found two really good reference pictures on dA and did a life painting of the rapids at Babagon, in the outskirt of kk.
medium: kisshou watercolor on schut watercolor paper - acid free, 200 gsm. cold pressed, 18 x 24 cm.

Shoes I painted and earrings I made for Prom. c: Sadly one of the earrings got broken on the dance floor and the other disappeared off that table I left it on. But I still have the shoes. c: I was pretty happy with both the shoes and earrings though.

Sorry I'm a bit late on sharing, been busy. Was soooo tired Sunday and have had testing and such these past few days. Now I'm off to write a short story for class ;~;

This time I didn't start with a usual grayscale sketch, but instead made an initial speed painting based on the complementary color palette which I had in mind. The greatest learning experience with this painting was to realize how soft the brushes I'm using are, and how overly soft the results become. Most of the brush strokes were not visible enough. Using an unsharp mask filter I was able to bring back that detail. Then the effect was slightly reverted in areas the are not near the focal points.
