well, i didn't really expect to continue this further. i thought it was a one-time thing, but obviously not. i still don't know what those outfits are. it's like magic winx meets sirenix. who the fuck knows/cares.

i've always wanted to draw callie, and actually finish it since i've never used her color palette and i made it xD but. i made this somewhat as a gift. ~SunshineShowersx has been going through a tough time, so i wanted to do something nice for her <3 we were dying to get them together, so i kind of made it come true. :3
i think that bodysuit is perfect for callie xD

anyways. callie and koriandra are half-sisters. they share the same father, osiris. callie is the older one. osiris married koriandra's mother, erisephora after callie had been conceived with her mother, connie. osiris has no knowledge of callie whatsoever. callie has four other half-siblings from osiris and erisephora.

I have no idea what is going on with the lineless style, since I never do lineless xD I think it was because I planned to leave this faceless, changed my mind and couldn't get it to work out quite right with my usual heavy lines. And since I did this 'quickly', it's pretty scruffy xD

Anyways, I just wanted to experiment with Dekker's armour since I'd doodled a crappy picture in a notepad, having been 'inspired' by a studded leather design I saw the other day. It's all concept-y, since I had no idea how armour really works xD But whatever happens, it'll be dark coloured, for sneaking, studded leather, for lightness, and it'll always have a hood (maybe a cape, but I think that would get in the way if you're trying to sneak... maybe).

28 layers later...

I have a terrible habit of starting work with various paintings and leave them lost in my computer for months without end. This was another one of those that I found among my lost files. Was 75% completed, and I gave the final details in two days.

Looks like I finally found a way to work with the images above 800px resolution. Everything flows soooo easier that way!!!! I wanted to have a computer made by NASA. I had a special job with the textures in this painting (using brushes of nathie). The hair was made entirely with a chalk brush + a hard round, sking and clothes also, as I watched The King's Speech .

I also have a WIP of this work, which will be available soon along with others.

Please, leave me your feedback. It is very important to me.

Long story short, I was kind of inspired by the Chinese Painting style. The clothes just kind of happened, so not sure what kind of clothes they are. For an experimental piece, I feel like it turned out pretty well...but yeah....I explain a bit more in the blog post, so you should totally go read that

holy freaking guacamole.

it is done.
3 days of straight coloring... (just coloring!) ELEVEN PEOPLE! personal record.. not gonna beat it for a long long time
Anyway :] I am graduating highschool in 2 days. [May 24th] I couldnt figure out what I wanted to do for graduation presents for my classmates...I wanted to do something special and memorable.
Then, C.R.B. (The girl holding the 0) mentioned that it would be so awesome if I drew a picture of the whole class.........Why didnt I think of that...? *facepalm*
Being from a private school, I have a small class.. so 11 people was doable and the idea was perfect.
SO! I'll list off the people from left to right
Top: Ian, Mik, Clate, Randy, Jayden
Bottom: Katie, Anna, Charity Ruth, Rebekah, Hye Young, and Me
...gosh.. I got emotional doing some parts of this picture...3 of these people ive been with for 13 years from kindergarten to 12th grade. Some others about that long, some only a couple of years but gosh it seems like I've known them longer ... >_< Now suddenly after years of seeing them almost everyday we'll all be parting ways ;w; its very bitter sweet...
Enough of my babbling! Im going to start crying XD and thats a bad sign.. bc I am salutatorian and therefore will be delivering a speech Friday night... Im going to be BAWLING X'D I already know it.

Picture wise - I know there are lots of technical errors, but I didnt really have time to deal with that, however this is purely a meaningful picture, I dont particularly care about technicalities.
I dont know if you can tell, but I did much more of a semi-realism style and shading... it was fun jsut some parts are kind of sloppy because I completely ran out of time XD
Overall I am very satisfied with it though! So I hope you guys like it as well!

PS. One more picture to finish before I go back to doing my own fun stuff :'D

Surface - The Seeker

A creature concept for the story 'Surface'. I call it the Seeker because it is very well-equipped for seeking out prey in the pitch black environment it lives in. It has a large array of thermal pits that allow it to detect body heat, and the large dome on its head functions similar to the 'melon' on the head of a dolphin, which is used in echolocation. It also has an excellent sense of smell. The Seekers are very fast, agile predators, but more importantly, they are smart. Like wolves, they are more likely to be found in a pair or a pack than on their own.

Hey guys - I actually haven't died!

As proof, check out this commission I completed recently of the title character from the series Ergo Proxy! I couldn't help but love his design, what with the Phantom of the Opera-esque elements.

I'll probably make a new journal in the relatively near future discussing commissions and the like if anyone's interested. So for reference, this is a good example of the quality you'd get for a painted portrait commission!
