"A Lost Childhood" expresses the theme of Freedom of Expression conversely through the restraint of expression many people suffer. The abandonment of childhood symbolizes the loss of fantasy and imagination that fuels artistry, and without freedom of expression we are unable to let our creativity shine and forget the joy of what is art.

Going back to my more realistic/surreal roots and a drift from stylized portraits using a profile picture of one of my friends. I focused more on emotion and concept in this piece. Done with Adobe Photoshop CS6.

My entry to 's challenge #23 "Lighting"

This is my very first foray into my CS6 photo painting/manip. It was an awesome learning experience and I'm definitely going to be doing more of this type of thing.

The image represents memories...some lovely and beautiful and some hurtful or frightening. I've had a few revelations into my past recently and doing an abstract piece like this was very cathartic. We all deal with things. But we need to remember we're not alone...

This pic got a story behind it..There was two lover fishes(u can think them as human couple) but female fish left his lover for someother male fish with much protected home.. but it was actually like a cage which she felt after leaving her lover .. after long time male fish try to find her and get she lives in sharks area..he go to meet her and see her pretty sad and he just tell her " 'I WISH' you could be mine" before sharks attacked him

This was a labor of love to get this done. The staircase I cut out from the original background. Very time consuming with all the decorative railing. The models dress is almost completely painted. And of course finding just the right lighting and filters to fit the mood of the scene all took awhile but I do hope you enjoy the final result. "When you say you miss someone, it means you have valued whatever they've brought to your life, and you wish you had it back again." The words seemed to come from the depths of his heart, tender and feeble. "I never valued Didyme so much as to believe I was worthy of her love. Nor, I have found, will any amount of wishing bring my angel back to me."
I felt my eyes well with tears. "But... you still want her back again?"
His gaunt face regarded me kindly. An icy palm cupped my cheek. "Don't cry, my child."
"But -"
"No," he interrupted gently. "It does no good to talk of it. I am tired, little one. I want to rest."
I touched his hand tentatively. A tear escaped my eyes without permission, caressing his fingertip. A kerchief of black satin appeared in his hand. He dabbed at my cheek tenderly before folding up the cloth, pressing it into my palm.
"Keep it," he whispered kindly. "I have no use for it."
He turned his head away then, rapidly sinking back into meditative thought, or whatever he was doing before I entered. I watched him, and a tiny hole began to grow in my chest. My heart was aching.
