The sun rose above the city, and glittered through a gap in the thick acidic clouds, basking the world in its usual greenish glow. A jet trail had already pierced its path.
Once, I saw a photograph in a library of the yellow sun and blue sky. How odd.
Something about too much ash and micro filaments in the air, had shifted the colors of the heavens, over the centuries of persistent air pollution.
Plumes of overheated air rose from the Nuclear stations, on the sides of the city's central core, vibrating and shimmering in sunlight.
An ever-present, mushroom cloud of thick, juicy smog reminiscent of the nuclear wars, overshadowed the Core and engulfed it in constant darkness. Workers of the Core had often complained that they never see sunlight, but who really cares about sunlight these days anyway, when we got the brilliant, undying glow of electricity to chase away the nights.
Roads flashed with constant fuzz of green and red lights, always moving, always going. On every road trip I always wonder why there's constantly so much traffic, looking out at passing cars and think about where each person is going and why.

This painting is inspired by the city I was born in- Novokuznetsk, Siberia.

This is how I often saw it as a child- engulfed in smog and dust from the coal mining and aluminum/steel production factories, the air so thick with metal that hail turned brown, and in cold winter smog covering the city in a gray veil from which you could only see 2 meters ahead.

I never knew if i should post it or not as it was the one I liked the less between the two... anyway...
I used grunge brushes to make my skin look dirty and the stitches are by

. Thank you. I used dodge tool to lighten my iris and color variation to give a blue tone to the image.

Not sure I will leave it or not, but it will be the last dark image in a while.

The receptionist who was, perhaps 50ish looked at the pad, looked me up and down and said, "$40 please." I left for the surgery to get the blood test.

The people in the surgery were fine and to my surprise, the needles didn't hurt at all. All the hurt came way before, from the people who are supposed to care. I have not been treated with such descimination since high school and if really didn't do my self esteem much good. Surely they should encourage people to get tested regularly?

Ok, so, I am not trying to put you off getting tested, just ask your friends, do a little reseach and find a gay friendly doctor.

these were commission work for a band called Shadow Cut and the name actually fit the pictures so. i don't normally do commission work but i had my reasons now. firstly, i had artistic freedom to do what i wanted, i was asked for dead girls (name of the forthcoming album: Pictures Of Death) and preferrably with white bg color. that is easy. secondly, i own all the rights to them. and third, ~mok was the one to ask me do this, since he's doing the album covers to begin with, he posed for my photo series earlier.

left/bride
this was the last one i took. i was running out of white backgrounds so i thought i could have a bride lay dead on her dress. the night prior to the shoot i was thinking of the props and realized i don't have a wedding ring, yet i wanted the hand to be visible in the front. with suzilogic i figured i can just cut the finger off so i don't have to worry about it. it also adds some possible plot to the photo. she's clearly battered but i don't know how she supposedly died... but i do think that big wire cutters or such were used to cut the finger, u know those that look like eagles beak. my model for this shot was Allison

i want to dedicate this photo to $spyed. i don't usually dedicate anything to anyone but if i was to do so i guess the CEO of dA would be a good choice to start with...being that lots of my photos wouldn't excist if it wasn't for this place. however, the main reason is, he did a fun interview with me a while back and in it he wrote "I always find myself wincing and peaking, wincing and peaking at the sight of some of her work." i am hoping this photo could do that for him again.

middle/mouth
i like the detail of this and again i don't know what happened to her but cuts were probably involved, as well as stabbing (internal wounds that explain why blood is comin out of her mouth). ` superkev helped me by to take this shot.

right/bathtub
one of the songs on the album is called Throatcuts 9, hence this one photo with a girl and her throat cut. it's a brand new cutter from the dollar store too

her hands are tied with pantyhose. i think her throat was cut near the tub but outside it, and then she was put there to bleed. i guess there's a hit on her temple as well. the model for this photo was Nikkia Fia aka ~NikkiLace
