Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963 - February 11, 2012)

Whitney Houston, the woman with the most beautiful voice in the world, has passed away at the age of 48 on the night before the 54th Grammy Awards was going to be happening. The cause of death is still a mystery, but the circumstances of her death is a combination of prescription drugs and drowning in the bathtub. The result of the autopsy will be revealed in a week from now.

She will always known for her most famous songs such as "Saving All My Love for You", "Greatest Love of All" and "I Will Always Love You" and her rise of pop prominence in the 1980's to mid 1990's.

We will miss you, Mrs. Houston. We will always cherish your beautiful music in our hearts!

I dedicate this piece and the song that inspired the text and title to my cousin Holly who is battling breast cancer.
She was diagnosed early this year, and just recently had a scare with a lump in her breast that turned out benign.
She has four daughters, the youngest of which is about six or seven. We all love her so much and we hope and pray that she can beat this thing and that each of her daughters can grow up knowing their mother.
