Love is beyond all words.

this is inspired by all the typography work i have seen around on deviant art. but i have decided that love is a language beyond all - anyone in the world would have experienced love- no matter which form it is in: family, friends, spiritural...

and so i figured i should translate it to ALOT of different languages. since the language of 'love' is international so i went on google and searched for online translator(s) to translate the word, love (in english), to 30+ different languages. (so i'm really sorry if some ain't correct, since i don't really speak/write/read your language : P)

I was thinking the other day that I really don't draw yaoi, at least not in the way most people do...you know with lots of kissing and cuddling and sparkle sparkles!....no....

The urban dictionary defines Bromance as: A non-sexual relationship between two men that are unusually close.
I'm like, yeah! I love drawing lots of guys doing things together but not necessarily things that constitute as sexual..and NO spankings don't count! (despite popular belief, I don't actually think of my guys as having hot sex after spankings or using it as foreplay)....then I thought.....I do draw them doing a lot of violent things.....so why not call it a Bad Bromance! and thus this banner was born...and thus that is what I am calling it!

So if anytime you hear me refer to pairings, in any fandom, know that I don't really pair them in the traditional sense...I always see them as this.....a Bad Bromance

just one of the things i did for school this month
pretty proud of this because i managed to combine something i love (cats yes) with school work and the professor liked it so i aced the assignment woo <3
it took me a week to brainstorm and finish all of these, i wanna thank ~wintaamero ♥, *jellytaro and ~trotroy for feeding me ideas & giving me feedback xD
A, N and X are my two cats, scrappy and tofu i love them a lot U v U
the cats look better when viewed up close (each cat is 2400x2400px each), and a lot of detail was lost in resizing, but i don't wanna upload a bigger version because reasons (cough some people want to buy merch of this but i'm not sure yet)

Yay! My final plate for my Typography class. Well, I actually have to turn this into an alphabet book, but I'll get to that tomorrow. :3

I'm really proud of this! It took lots of time and effort (and not to mention shitlaods of patience) to finally complete the alphabet.

See, we were supposed to think of a theme, and think of characters/elements related to that theme that starts with the letters of the alphabet. That we the challenge for us right there. Not too many names/words start with X. O_O (I kind of cheated with mine, but my excuse is believable LOL)

The theme I chose was Disney! I grew up on Disney, and it's a big part of my life. :3 I can't wait to go to Disney Land this October! Been a while since I've been.

All characters were rendered using vectors. :3 Try to name them all!

P.S. If there are any particular characters from this alphabet that you'd like to see in greater detail, just leave a comment or send me a note & I'll try to upload a larger version.

This is my pride and joy! I have never dedicated this much time into anything and have it turn out so magnificently! I started this last semester and the teacher gave me an A because she knew what was going to go through haha! So now something like 3 or 4 months later I am done! I can not express in words how extraordinarily happy I am right now! I just want to thank all of my friends and family for getting me through this! haha The file is so large i had to find a better computer to finish it on because my laptop could not handle him! I AM SO ECSTATIC RIGHT NOW! WOOT!

Anyways for those who are interested:
time spent: 150+ hours (I lost track after a while)
Yes every bit of this says something in text... from his hairs all the way to his pupils!
I was advised in not taking the easy way out by using I's and )'s for hair, so every hair is his name.

A nice little diddy I made because I see people saying "that's gay" all the time and I don't think that word means what they think it means so here is some clarification for those of you who apparently don't understand.

I do not own any of the quotes in my collection. Most of them were found on the web and I only pick the best out of them. I made these (800x600) images, to print out little entertaining stickers, with minimalistic approach - that's why there is no background.

Because of huge positive feedback among my friends I uploaded them to various sites and here on DA they quickly became huge "hit". I do not consider this as art, but I get more and more requests everyday so I will keep uploading them.

Some of them are just pure fun, some racist or sexually offensive, maybe both, and occasionally with really poor grammar, for which I deeply apologize - please correct me! I will do my best. My intention here is just to make you smile, and nothing more. Hope you like them, but if you don't I don't care...

I'm so sorry for much Grammatical Errors, Idealistic Point of Views, and etc.
But before further judgments, you should know what was behind this work.

A Story behind this piece

I made "Go to School" when I was just started my last year on high school, which it was the hardest terms. Everyday filled with extra-after classes of this and that and the fears of Final Exam - The National Exam (which all your future of 3 years full of studying is depend on this 5 days exam)

Every senior on high school had to focus on what study program/ major/ faculty/ etc they would applied their application form to Universities they like to.

My school regularly held a little questioner to find out what was the most favorite Study Program or the most wanted Majors.
And the results are (plus the reasons) :
1) Medical = because it made you rich and get prestigious degree!
2) Engineering = look smarts and important, and also, to be rich and have prestigious degree. MEH!
3) Law = Lawyer's and its all prestigious job + degree.

Well, that made a point to think of :
were the prestigious job or majors are just Doctor and Engineer and Lawyer?

I said this because there's a local unwritten law and local norm/ custom In my local circumstances said that if you're a Doctor or a Lawyer or an Engineer or a Person that works for Government a.k.a Civil Servants, you are so great. That's the REAL JOB. That's the whole point you go to college and get yourself a REAL JOB for a REAL WEALTH and MONEY. Because when you're older, the Prestige get you on the top.

"What about art?"
They said, "Art is just for hobbies. Art won't lead you anywhere. Art's not bring you for future wealth. Life's all about wealthy. To be wealth, we need : Prestige, and of course, Money.

those opinions are unfair. You can't judge things by its commercial's succeed. Everyone has opinion. Everyone has different mindset to stick on. There's no good or bad things, that's just depend on everyone's perspective.

so, that's the reason I made this piece. I was put my emotion there, but now I already get rid of those things NOW. I just want to delivered a message of "stigma" that goes strong around me.
Come to think of it, there's always a pro and con for every single opinion.

Experimental Typography Candy

University Assignment.
Typography project.

This is the final piece of a project where i was required to design my own font with any material and assign an appropriate message to go with that font. I opted to go for the amazing medium of candy. I wanted to go for something original and colorful.I spent the last two weeks researching the best candy around to work with, and eating a lot of it along the way.I also shaped the font in the style of the famous Avant Garde Gothic type font(which took ages).

I Spent the whole week shaping and photographing the individual letters and finally compositing them together in PS.

Thinking about submitting this for an actual official font later to be sold,could be quite popular. Never worked so hard in such a small amount of time but it was worth it. Peace.

HAPPINESS IS SOMETHING THAT WE DECIDE OURSELVES

If you ask me, I could list out thousands of reasons why I am unhappy; I'm not clever enough, I don't know what to do with my life, I weight way too much, I can't stop eating, I wish I'm someone else, I wish I enjoy life more, I've been told I'm such a useless person, I could do nothing, I'm such a burden, I can't even survive on my own, etc etc

But I know that if I keep on thinking negatively, I'm pretty sure I'll live a miserable, gloomy life for the rest of my life. That sounds.. SAD! Do I want to feel sorry for myself until the day I die?

Life is once and it's up to me what to do with my life, what path do I want to take and how do I want my life to be like. Every single reasons to be unhappy, if I look at it in a different way, ie in a positive way, it's possible to change my life; and thus change my unhappiness into happiness

Who decides something that does not turn out as expected, as unhappiness?

I might ask myself, "Why am I still alive" when things just don't go my way

My answer would be..
I'm glad that I'm alive. I don't need other reason to be happy because knowing that I'm still breathing at this moment, living my life, is more than enough to be happy. Stop being selfish asking this and that to be "happy" when life alone, is something to be happy about

I'm happy to be alive. I decide to be happy; and that's the only way for me to feel alive!

p/s: I've just finished watching Zettai Kareshi; and that got me thinking about life haha

Interesting quote, I don't entirely agree, but I like where it is coming from. Everyone, besides the insane, has to tolerate reality for the most part, its called being conscious... Reality is full of amazing things anyway. I think however, that artists and other creative types tap into the unrealistic more often. In fact, usually in an attempt to make it a reality...

Anyway, it was the first quote I came across that I liked and was as long as I needed.

I'll be here all week folks, churning out spontaneous Loki art every day or two. And I would apologize to my poor watchers for the spam but I'm really not sorry at all. |D

Also I finished this like 22 hours ago but haven't had time to submit it until now.
I woke up an hour early for this, so you all better feel special.

This was a lot of fun to make, actually, and not nearly as hard as I'd thought it'd be. I might possibly do more in the future. (I actually made a traditionally-drawn-and-colored one for an OC last year, though this one looks waaay better xD)

What's really strange is that while working on this I had a moment of disgust for the character... Why do I like him anyway? He's such an awful person.
But I dismissed it and it wore off pretty quickly.

I am a Girl

I really didn't want this to come out as bitter as it did, but I get into "Girl Power" mode occasionally. I often get tired of being mistreated as a girl or watching my friends get hurt and taken advantage of. The past several weeks I've witnessed abuse in every form, not just in my life, but a lot of people around me have been crying on my shoulder. Whether it's a relationship or a work situation, I see girls in pain.
I wish I could give each one of you a hug and tell you it's going to be okay. I wish I could tell girls who are hurting to stop feeling hurt.
If you're in a relationship where a guy is not giving you all you need, please step away from it or see a counselor to make it work. There is no reason to ever settle. You're worth more! Never think otherwise. Your life partner does not define you. You are always your own person.
And I'm here if you ever need to vent or talk it out.
Life is short and has so much to offer, so make it the best life ever! Only you can achieve your own happiness.

This is a poem I wrote to channel these feelings that are coming from so many of you and myself in a more encouraging direction. It's also my first attempt at doing anything with typography, so if you're a pro at that, please let me know how I can make this better.

EDIT: I feel like this message might have come off as out of hand sexist. The "you" I speak to in this piece is an abuser. I didn't even specify anything about this being against men. This is not about ALL men. I have nothing against guys. I have great men in my life, but I speak as a girl about my experience of being objectified in specific situations because of my gender. I didn't want to have to explain this since art is about your personal interpretation, but I do not want to hurt anyone - especially guys. This is very personal and I wanted to share it as an art piece. I also wanted this to become a mantra for girls who need to recognize how strong they are. A quote that I came up with myself while thinking about some personal things. I decided that I wanted to write it down, make it look good, and show it to other people and inspire them to also be happy despite what may be wrong in their lives.

Color Choices: I took my colors from the flags of the two sexualities stated, which are here ([link]). Gay is a rainbow, straight is black and white, but I chose to make the straight shades of grey because even being straight there is no black and white, but shades of grey and so many variations.
