The Peace Path

Before I start to describe in details, here is something that I got when I was meditating today:
P.E.A.C.E = Planet Earth Ascending Calmly Emerging.

≈ The waves ≈
I wrote it and also it should be read from the bottom to top.

- Beta -> Individual = Humanity.
- Alpha -> Unity = Lightworkers.
- Theta -> Planet = Animals.
- Delta -> New Age = Peace, Equality, Balance, Hope, New Beginning.

.: Time. Space :.

- Beyond the Alpha wave, Time and Space no longer exists, why? Because when one meditates, in the Physical realm, Material world or Beta wave, time passes fast that is why this is illusion, starting from the Alpha wave, Astral realm or Reality, Time and Space disappears. They no longer exist.

This is a poster I made for an exhibition at school. The exhibition was about 'the power of color', and we put red plastic near the poster and people had to look through it to see the right text. If you were to look through the plastic, you'd see (translated): "I spy with my little eye... the power of color."

The idea was to make people curious because they can't read the text on the poster when they walk past it.
Besides, I like typography and I wanted to make it look as interesting as possible..

For the new project we're working on in class, my teacher said to make a picture of anything, as long as it has the main elements of an art piece: balance, harmony, dissidence, dominance and sub-dominance. I was really having trouble figuring out what to do, and then it hit me: He didn't say it actually had to be a picture, per se.

Week 5 - text

Week 5 task was text:
I used different text fonts to have different impacts. I used 'sans serif' font firstly to give it a professional, serious tone, 'everything' is in a serif font and capitalised to give a sense of completion, it stands out out and gives sense of finality; this is enforced with the red colouring giving a strong contrast to the rest of the text and draws the eye to the word 'everything'. 'Life' is used in a cursive font because life is fluid motion. Finally, 'on' has a lighened multiplied layer drifting off to the distance to enforce the idea that life is going on forever.

I think someone's not going to be turning up to their nephew's coronation...

Title was difficult to think up for this, given that I've already used What You Are for another piece of typography, and every other piece's title has been based on a particular word or phrase used within the quote.
I chose to do this as a piece simply because I've not got anything by Rheimer in this style yet, and I liked the way I pictured him saying it. Without giving(too) much away, Jawain is Rheimer's uncle, and, as may be seen, is not entirely happy with this fact |D Neither is Rheimer, for that matter.

This is another symbol for Cadillac Jack's "Lucky Panda" video slot game. Drawn and painted in Photoshop 5.5 with a combination of FX and digital painting techniques. For those that are interested the characters mean "Good Fortune" (in essence). That was check with multiple Chinese coworkers and their relatives.
