.... While I'm Interrupting.

I decided to create this little ditty after watching all the cable news(?) shows, with their entrenched left vs. right wing 'expert' commentators, all yelling and screaming at/over each other at the same time. It was like listening to a gaggle of geese flying overhead in late autumn as they 'honked' by the many. On the bright side, at least said geese know where they're actually going. (smiles)

The second in a series of 3 space themed posters. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, my favorite astrophysicist and educator of all things cosmic, wants to go ice fishing on Europa. This one and the next have a more motivational message than the first, I think.
Science stuff: Europa is one of the 4 Gallilean moons of Jupiter, and is a little glacial iceball that is believed to have an ocean of liquid water underneath it due to tidal friction. There is the exciting possibility that life of some sort may be living under the surface.

This is a poster I made for an exhibition at school. The exhibition was about 'the power of color', and we put red plastic near the poster and people had to look through it to see the right text. If you were to look through the plastic, you'd see (translated): "I spy with my little eye... the power of color."

The idea was to make people curious because they can't read the text on the poster when they walk past it.
Besides, I like typography and I wanted to make it look as interesting as possible..

So I took typography. It was horrible, but I made some neat posters for myself. The first of a series of 3 space themed posters. This one is inspired by Carl Sagan's Cosmos: the Ultimate Chillout Experience.
As far as technical stuff, I chose to keep the compositions fairly simple with geometric, symbolic imagery. The typeface is Futura Bold, an homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey because Stanley Kubrick apparently loved that font. Oh! And these posters are also 6 word memoirs. A little snippet of whatever that's 6 words long.

I don't wanna toot my own horn or anything, but the first two of this set would make pretty badass mousepads
