Moriane, the Gandalf figure of the Wheel of Time books. Except I don't remember everyone having such issues with trusting Gandalf. I think she's cool!

Not happy with the way this turned out, The pose could have been better. Maybe she's like this when she's angry XD. Anyway, spent a fair amount of time on it so upload it I shall.

Lady Moiraine Damodred: An Aes Sedai (kind of a mage) of the Blue Ajah. She is a Cairhienin noble of high rank in House Damodred, daughter of Dalresin Damodred, youngest half-sister of Taringail Damodred and niece of King Laman Damodred. Her House colors are red, green and white.

This piece is inspired by the book series I am currently reading"The Wheel Of Time" by Robert Jordan. It is meant to portray Moraine who is an Aes Sedai , A powerful and good sorceress , who is protector and guide to the three farm boys destined to save/break( not sure exactly which yet , cause I am only on book 3 of 12 ) a world similar to that created by Tolkien. I wanted to show her here weilding the "one power" with a powerful sa-angreal (orb that helps her yeild more power) . Anyone who had read the series , will surely know what I am talking about. If you have not.....well I hope you enjoy the magic anyway

UPDATE: Mat, Tuon and Olver.
This is the last major set of fixes I will be doing to this group. Also, Olver's mouth is as wide as a human mouth allows, the corners should always meet the center of each eye. Anyway made the fix's I intended too. also made Tuon a little younger looking, and Mat has Brown eyes so I changed that too

I had finished this painting a few weeks ago, but I'm finally ready to submit it. I kept stopping and going back a few days later, thinking it needed something more. But, then I thought, simple and straightforward would fit Siuan's character the best. A close-up, frank expression. I hope you all agree.

Siuan Sanche, Aes Sedai, from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

'Siuan Sanche is and was an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah. She was born in Tear, and grew up a fisherwoman. She was formerly the Amyrlin Seat, but was deposed by Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan, stilled, and imprisoned. Her first Warder, Alric, died during the White Tower coup.

She is nearly a hand taller than Moiraine Damodred, and is pretty, if not quite beautiful, with blue eyes and a delicate mouth. She is fair-skinned with dark glossy hair to her shoulders. After being Stilled, she has lost about twenty years and looks very young now.'

This is my newest attempt of the Wheel of Time Eye of the World comic cover according to my perspective. I will keep working on this cover though since it still needs some changes and touch up's I was just so excited to share what I had so far with all of you. The characters are bottom to top: Rand, Parrin, Matrim, Nynaeve (left), Egwene (right), Moiraine, Lan, and Thom. All characters and names by Robert Jordan.

Yeah, I've been busy. Sprites based off of characters from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

Zoom in. They're better that way.

Aiel Maiden and Spearman used to be the same, other than the chest. I gave him a more masculine stance though, meaning that THOSE legs were done all by myself.
Perrin has two editions: Married and Unmarried. I don't like his arms... He has an axe and hammer. And a beard. It's hard to see his yellow eyes though.
One thing to say about Mat: EKOAS! Actually, no, there's more to say. I forgot his hat. That will be added in the future. He DOES have the foxhead, though, which I actually like.
Yes, Rand is just Mat recolored and slightly changed. Those red spots on his hands are meant to be dragons. He's holding Callandor, for those of you who care.
Thom's hair is uneven, and his cloak is almost blinding. But, then, he's a gleeman, so I think I can get away with that...
I didn't edit Nynaeve's feet at all. I should, though. I don't like the position they're in. She has her trademark braid, and that's Lan's ring hanging from her neck.
Egwene is re-designed Nynaeve. There's... really nothing special about her. Same comment about the feet.
Min is not a man, as much as she tries to look like one. So, yeah, she's not wearing a dress, but you can tell she's female, right? RIGHT?
Moiraine is next. Moiraine, NOT Elayne. (coughzivacough) She has her angreal on her head, and that cool staff she had in book one. And a blue dress. Because she's a Blue.
Lan was more difficult. I wasn't quite sure how to do his cloak. I hope that works. His sword is just... bad. If you look closely, he DOES have a kadori (sp?) though.

These are edited sprites from Ragnarok Online. I do not yet have the genius to create my own.

Aviendha is a ninja. What a stretch from Aiel, eh?
Elayne is a fairy. I've always thought of her as incredibly girly.
Thom is a clown. Scariest thing ever.
Moiraine and Lan are Whitecloaks. Why? Because I can. Besides, I bet Moiraine would make a darn good Questioner.
Perrin is boring and un-dressed-up.

Lanfear has gone as herself. What better way is there to hide at a costume party? Rand (dressed as Mat) is too thick to notice anyway. (The REAL Min is tied up in the back with a myrddraal.)

Lady Moiraine of House Damodred

From the novel New Spring (the prequel) as Moiraine steps through the ter'angreal clothed only in the light.

Moiraine left Cairhien at sixteen to become an novice of the White Tower. In only three years she became Accepted and in only three more, she became an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah. Directly after becoming Aes Sedai, Moiraine left the White Tower in part to escape the Aes Sedai schemes to place her on the throne of Cairhien; but more importantly to begin her search for the Dragon Reborn. With her Warder, al'Lan Mandragoran, they would search for ninteen years. It is said that Moiraine was one of the most powerful channelers in a few centuries, except for Cadsuane Melaidhrin.

MORE WoT sprites by me... Hehehe. I'm really enjoying this. Zoom in to see well.

First are Mat and Rand, before they go adventuring and get all glorified. I hate them. They look terrible.
Nynaeve as an Accepted, then Egwene, with both Novice AND Accepted edition. I think those turned out quite nicely.
Myrddraal, Eyeless, Fade, Halfman, whatever you want to call it. Yeah. It's Lan recolored. And Scary-fied. It's alright.
BELA! Done all by my gifted self. No editing done. All mine. All on my own. (I'm proud, can you tell?)
Aldieb (Moiraine's horse) and Mandarb (Lan's horse) are Bela resized and recolored. Again, all mine.
HOPPER! Another one of my "All-Mine" sprites. XD I love Hopper...
Narg is a wolfy trolloc! Gran... He's an inside joke. XD (Yeah, they're Lan too. So are all the Trollocs, in fact.)
Whitecloaks. Oh, I hate Whitecloaks. Again, Lan has been recolored. He just seems to have a perfect design...

Moiraine looked towards Dragonmount in the distance, "somewhere on that mountain, the Dragon has been reborn, but where?" the thought filled her with fear at the thought of a man channelling, as it did every Aes Sedai...

My depiction of Dragonmount from Robert Jordans, The Wheel of Time. For a die hard fan it probably doesn't represent or look like they want it to but it is what I thought it should look like. Am currently working on Lews Therin Telamon, eradicating himself and forming Dragonmount with the one power, hopefully I will have a result on this soon. Hope you all like.

For those of you who haven't read Robert Jordan, then this will most likely mean nothing to you, however I hope you like the tranquility of it anyway, and if you haven't then I suggest you read The wheel of Time series, as they are very definitely the best series of books I have ever read.

Everyone who read the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan knows Nynaeve. Here a small part about her:

"26 years old. Slender and short, young and pretty. She has dark colouring with a dark braid pulled over her shoulder. Very strong willed, she always does what she believes must be done, never backing down from her duty.

She is regularly giving over to fits of temper and insults. Prickly at best, unbearable at worst. She hates Moiraine and blames her for everything that has occurred, hating her as much as Seanchan, but didn't hide her hate as well as she thinks. She fell in love with Lan soon after leaving the Two Rivers, but he continually put her off. She is brave to the point of madness, but believes herself a coward. "

My favourite quote from her: Men always seemed to think violence could solve anything. If she had had a stout stick,
she would have thumped all three of them about the shoulders until they saw reason.
