i've been watching a lot of Mad Men and drawing a lot of X Men so i decided to put them together and... presto!

L-R Remy, Scott, Betsy, Ororo, Rogue, Bobby

i like the idea of my favourite mutants out of their leathers and spandex, and into some sharp 1960s fashion for a change. anyway, i will eventually make a prettier version of this quick piece but i just wanted to upload it because heck, i really like it.

Here's the story behind this art:

After re-reading X-Tinction Agenda I had wanted to see if I could buy the Archangel, Wolverine and Cable cover from the trade paperback that I knew was a poster back in the day. I typed in 90's X-Men into google and low and behold a site had this -> [link]

It was individual scans of the three page poster/ Jim Lee preview for X-Men #1. Awed by it I took the challenge of making the line art match up and the lines look crisp and new.

After that I undertook about an hour to flat and then about 3-4 to put it all together (over the span of 2 days).

So here it is. I've colored one of the guys I read as a kid officially (Wildman) and now unofficially (Lee/Williams). It's such an interesting thing to look at the books from my childhood in an artistic light. Nonetheless, mad props to my fellow colorist twitizens (with colorist celebs including and ) during the WIP tweets

X-Men: Mystique X Iceman-bw

This is something I was working on today. I drew it last night, mostly; but I took the unusual step of inking this while in my living room. I was watching my "Lord of the Rings" extended cut DVDs while I worked. Not sure why I enjoy doing that so much.
This is a picture of Iceman, Bobby Drake, and Mystique, Raven Darkholme. The two started what would turn into a short term relationship. I'm not going to go into all the details, but I will tell you that the events took place in "X-Men #188-204". It's all a bit too complicated to explain. It all appeared to be part of some kind of trap, but Mystique appears again before Bobby and ends up helping him cure a problem with his powers, told in the events of "X-Men: Manifest Destiny #1-5". When last we saw Raven she told Bobby she would come to see him again. Not with her face or body, but she promised that he will love her. With that she jumps off the Golden Gate Bridge and has not been seen since.
I greatly look forward to their next meeting.

The drawing itself was inspired by an image from the anime/manga "Soul Eater"(Volume 7 , Episode 28). In the scene the mental ghost of Medusa is trying to seduce Stein into madness. He's training his body, sweating; and she keeps appearing. Eventually, she is behind him, pressing her forehead and hands to his back, and tracing circles on his back with her right index finger. I always found that moment to be both scary and beautiful.
I had thought about doing the same pose with Mystique, including the tracing of the finger, but I chose to replace it with a dagger pressed into his back.
I purposely chose to have Bobby's arms up the the elbow in ice form. The only purpose is so that the viewer will know right away who that is. Raven will be easy to identify. Bobby not so much.

There are a lot of layers that are put into this image. If I tried to explain it all this comment would be nearly a novel. To make a long story short. I wanted Raven to have a scary look in her eye, but the expression is sad. Bobby feels the knife just pressing into his back, but doesn't move. Read into that what you will.

Why are they both naked?........Why not? (Girls deserve Beefcake!!)
Hope you enjoy it. Not sure when I will get around to coloring it. I do have some cool ice effect for his arms.

The Men of Tendai, the Edo Period version of the X-Men.

The Empowered is a subset of the human race, with members born with superhuman powers. These people, across the planet, have hidden their abilities from the civilized public for hundreds of years, but they have become more known to normal humanity in the 1500s and theyve tried to integrate with the public. They have been persecuted for years in all parts of the globe, but no more so in China, which developed governmental measures to control, or perhaps exterminate the empowered. By word-of-mouth, the empowered and other sentient creatures oppressed by normal humans have heard of a school in Japan that shelters their peoples from oppression, train them to properly use their burgeoning skills, and foster a sense of justice and fairness in each student.
Only then can they become one of many, a member of a new generation of heroes a Man of Tendai!

Real Name: Shiro Ximizu
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Japanese
Biography: Shiro Ximizu was born into a affluent family in the city of Edo, Japan (now Tokyo). He began displaying his natural-born telepathic powers in his teen years, and he hid these powers. He soon discovered a Tendai Buddhist temple beneath Mount Hiei, whose clergy teach those born with their powers to control them and use them properly. The head priest, Gojou Toukan, took two exceptional young students under his wing, the Japanese-born Shiro and a European boy named Erik Eisenhart. Erik and Shiro became friends, and they developed a philosophical theory of evolution: Collectively, humankind is like a single human itself, and like a human, it goes through stages of its life; the emergence of the Empowered is likened to humankinds puberty.
The Tendai temple had prospered for years, but since they started preaching tolerance for the Empowered, they fell under heavy ridicule from both the public and the wealthy land owners from the neighboring areas; this tension came to a head when a small army of masked civilians burned down the temple and killed most of the residents, except for Toukan and several other students, who were protected by Shiro and Eriks mental powers. The trauma of the attack caused a rift between the two friends; while Shiro could find the compassion to forgive the assailants for their misguided actions, Eriks hatred for normal humans developed, and he started believing that the only way for his people to be free is to enslave or destroy the normals.
The remaining students left the temple for fear of being attacked again, but Shiro remained with Toukan to build a new school. Toukan eventually succumbed to an infection he gained in the attack, and he named Shiro his successor on his deathbed. Erik, meanwhile, married a woman named Megumi and started a family. When Erik was killed by rioters, Shiro took care of his twin children, Erik Jr. and Lidia, but Lidia became a witch and used her magic to bring her parents back to life. Now in a body of undying metal, Erik Sr. took the name Aegis and declared his war against the oppression of the powerless before disappearing with his family.
Shiro, realizing that he alone cannot stop Aegis, decided to form a team of young heroes with the power to do so. Over the next 2 years, in a special meditation chamber he built into his new school, Sensei X telepathically reached out to several Empowered and otherwise-nonhuman individuals from across the planet, and under his guidance, they became a new beacon of hope in a dark world
Powers: Sensei X is a powerful telepath, capable of reading, influencing, and controlling the minds of living creatures; he can implant false memories, create illusions, telepathically communicate with others, and project his astral form into a realm between the mortal and spiritual planes, allowing him to possess unconscious or soul-less bodies. This power cannot be so easily controlled by him, so Sensei X must sequester himself to a special meditation chamber hidden in the school to focus his powers without distraction; in this chamber, the Sensei can also telepathically locate other Empowereds and superhuman creatures, anywhere in the world. Shiro Ximizu is also a highly educated teacher, a devout Buddhist monk, and one of the earliest evolutionary theorists.

Cyclops:
Real Name: Sotiris Chorido
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Greek
Biography: Greek pirate Crysos Chorido, captain of the dreaded ship known as The Starjammer, terrorized the Mediterranean Sea for years, while raising his two mother-less sons, Sotiris and Alexis. On the island of Strofades is where the pirates intended to hide away their newest ill-gotten bounty, but the harpies (Greek bird demons) of the island thought differently. The harpies attacked the pirates and killed most of their number. The brothers revealed their secret powers to defend their father, but only Alexis energies could vaporize the bird demons. Sotiriss eye lasers accidentally vaporized the surrounding seawaters as The Starjammer made her escape, causing the ship to wreck upon an undersea rock formation. Sotiris and the ships navigator Ioanna washed ashore to another island, and the boy was in a coma for five days. Sotiris awoke under Ioannas care, only to realize his powers, due to his head injury, have gone out of control. Thankfully, the rays dont decimate organic substances, to Ioanna carved the boy a blindfold-like helmet from wood, which prevents Sotiris rays from emerging while sacrificing his sight. Eventually, Ioanna and Sotiris, now considering themselves mother and son, settled in Komotini, a city in Northeastern Greece. In their home, they have a memorial shrine to Alexis, Crysos, and the other crew members; Sotiris constructed a new wooden helm, and he began his education. At age 17, Sotiris was contacted by Japanese teacher Shiro Ximizu, who invited him to join his school, and Sotiris accepted. At the school in Japan, Sotiris joined the Men of Tendai, a team of young heroes. Sotiris took the codename "Cyclops".
Powers: Cyclops continually fires red rays of energy from his eyes that bring ruin to non-living materials (such as stone, metal, and water); his rays dont effect living creatures, such as human, animals, plants, and demons, so Cyclops wears a spring-loaded helm made from wood that blocks the flow of energy while rendering himself blind. To compensate for his loss of sight, Sotiris trained his other senses to higher levels. Sotiris is also skilled in the unarmed combat styles of hoplites, the ancient Greek soldiers. Sotiris can speak both Greek and Japanese.

Basan:
Counterpart of : Phoenix
Real Name: Yami Hiaro
Species: Half-Tengu, Half-Human
Nationality: Japanese
Biography: Yami Hiaro was born out of wedlock to a poor mother. Yami knew she was different ever since childhood, as she has bilious, blood-red hair that the other children teased her for. When her mother, Yuri, died of a terminal disease, Yamis telepathy activated for the first time, and the trauma of experiencing her moms dying thoughts nearly killed her. Yami wandered the countryside for years, replaying the images in her head, until she saw what looked like a bird-like person with orange-red feathers! Trying to make sense of it, Yami eventually found herself in the company of Sensei Ximizu, who invited her into his home. Yami developed her telepathic powers and telekinesis, and Ximizu studied her body and her mothers visions, concluding that while she inherited her mental powers from her mother, her physical qualities she inherited from her father a demon! When Ximizu started the Men of Tendai, Yami took the codename Kiseki Lass and was appointed the co-leader of the team, under Sensei X. She also developed feelings for her teammate Cyclops. When the Men of Tendai defeated the Tengu bird demons, ending the war that spawned human heroes Hawkeye and Mockingbird, it was at the palace of the new Daitengu (ruler) Natsumi that Yami discovered her true heritage. She met her older half-sister, Tawa Shunichu, who is a full-blooded Tengu and formerly an advisor to the last Daitengu, Tsukuba, the brother of Natsumi. Tawa took Yami to the chamber that contains the Tengus most sacred treasure, the Basan Crystal. Tawa then knocked Yami out and magically bound her to the Crystal (also disabling her telepathy); when Yami came to, Tawa revealed that she used magic to make her father bear another child, so she could sacrifice her sibling to the Crystal and gain its power. All hope seemed lost for Yami, until Diatengu Natsumi wandered into the chamber. Tawa incapacitated Natsumi to keep her from interrupting the ritual, but Tawa had no idea that the Daitengu is always telepathically bound to the leader of the Tengu Kingdoms Imperial Guard. The tengu warrior Ureshii, leader of the Guard, defeated the witch, but she summoned a horde of goblins to defend her. The Guard and the Men of Tendai battled the goblins, while Tawa preformed the ritual. Yamis force of will disrupted the ritual, and she gained the power that her evil sister sought. Kiseki Lass is now the vessel of the Fire Spirit Basan, and she used her powers to destroy the goblin horde. Tawa was imprisioned by the tengu for her treachery, and Kiseki Girl changed her alias to Basan.
Powers: Yami possesses a half-tengu physiology, with hollowed bones, red hair, and proportionate strength. She possesses telekinesis and telepathy, suggesting that she also possesses the quality that makes one an Empowered. As the new host of the fire spirit Basan, Yami can manipulate energy (usually in a fiery form) and fly, and her natural powers are amplified to a greater extent.

Beast:
Real Name: Henri Mercier
Species: Sasquatch
Nationality: Canadian
Biography: The beast who would become known as the heroic Beast" was born to a tribe of sasquatches in South-Western Canada. The sasquatches are known for their warrior ways and cannibalism, but he decided to travel East to find a better place. Discovering a human colony of French explorers, he spied on them for months, learning their language and customs. When he was ready, he took a sharpened rock and shaved off most of his fur, in order to pass off as a human. The young sasquatch took the human name Henri Mercier and became a student and then a teacher. He became a colleague of Japanese monk Shiro Ximizu, and later joined his Men of Tendai. As Beast Henri fought alongside fellow apeman the Hibagon, a member of the Regalia, whom he referred to as cousin.
Powers: As a sasquatch, Henri possesses great strength, agility, stamina, reflexes, and senses. Living amongst humans, Henri received a high education, specializing in biology, philosophy, and politics; he can also speak 5 languages, including Japanese, French, and Chinese.

Iceman:
Real Name: Tomte Drakesonn
Species: Elf
Nationality: Norwegian
Biography: Tomte is a member of an offshoot race of elves, which developed in the frozen regions of Norway and other parts of Northern Europe. The elves evolved the ability to generate ice, which they use in their battles against the fire demons of the South. The war between the two factions, led by Ymir the Frost Giant and Surtur the Fire Titan, respectively, is mediated by the Norse Gods, who uses a magic bridge, located on the border of the two territories, to travel between Earth and their kingdom of Asgard. Tomte was among the youngest soldiers of his homelands army, and he was mentored by a high-ranking officer named Snostrom. Secretly, Snostrom was conspiring with a fire demon called Balarr to usurp their rulers and end the war, with them in control. The final signing of the peace treaty was interrupted by an assassin, who was prevented from killing one or both of the leaders; the assassin revealed to be an Asgardian, and the two forces united against them. The date of their initial invasion coincided with the Odinsleep, the time of year when Odin, the King of Asgard, would enter a hibernative state to restore his lost powers. The Asgardians fought valiantly against the invading horde, but they were fading fast. Thor, Norse God of Thunder, broke protocol to summon the aid of his Shintoist counterpart, Susanoo, the God of Storms and member of the Regalia. Meanwhile, Tomte Drakesonn learned of his mentors treachery, and tried to convince Ymir to believe him, but Susnaoo, Thor, and other warriors raided the elves fortress to try and end the war quickly. Tomte tried to plead his case to Susanoo, who can speak any language, and so the Storm God tested the young elf: he laid his weapon, the Jade Sword Kusanagi on the ground and said if you are truthful, the Blade will allow itself to be hefted by you.
Tomte was able to lift the Sword, and so Susanoo believed him. Eventually, Susanoo and Tomte revealed the generals Snostrom and Balarr as the employers of the Asgardian assassin, and they were defeated. With peace restored to the three kingdoms, Susanoo told the young ice elf of the Men of Tendai, who could benefit from his powers. Tomte traveled to Japan and joined the Men of Tendai, taking the alias Iceman.
Powers: Like all Norweigan elves, Frost can only survive in cold climates, so his race developed the inherited ability to mentally slow the vibrations of nearby molecules, gradually reducing heat in the area. Through practice, Frost developed the ability to slow the molecules of water vapor in the air, creating ice (either in the air or coating an object or person); he can also create simple shapes from ice, which he uses as tools and weapons. Tomte speaks Norweigan, the Elfin language, and Japanese, though his Japanese is still blocky and prone to misunderstandings.

Real Name: Wen Huang III
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Chinese
Biography: Many centuries ago, a peasant couple in ancient China consumed ten different magic gems, and they soon gave birth to 10 sons in one pregnancy. The sons were named after each gemstone, and they developed magic powers. When a powerful creature from the Hell Realms threatened the Mandate of Heaven, the brothers focused their powers through rings (each embroidered with the gemstone of their name) that they wore and separated the creatures body, mind, and spirit into 10 pieces, scattering them throughout Earth. The brothers lost their powers, and spent their remaining lives in peace and prosperity. Centuries later, the government of 1640s China concluded that these brothers, despite losing their powers, were the progenitors of the Empowered, a race of humans born with supernatural abilities. Faced with this threat, they commissioned a special project to control (or, if need be, exterminate) the nations Empowered population. The Project was divided into 2 factors: one to control the Empowered, and the other to determine its cause. This government operation, Project Wu Qi, discovered a race of parasitic monsters called the Phalanx that were locked away in a tomb. Through careful experimentation, the Chinese scientists discovered a way to infect living creatures with the parasites in a way that they become partially ferro-organic in nature. The human volunteers suffered horrible mutations and died when exposed, so the scientists started kidnapping Empowereds with accelerated healing powers, capable of surviving the process. One of the empowered they captured was Wen Huang III, the only son of a noble family. While incarcerated, Wen planned an escape with fellow captured empowereds Xiao and Jin. But before they could enact it, they were sent to the processing facility. They were exposed to the phalanx parasites and mutated into ferro-organic beings. The scientists hypothesized that the transformation would be painful enough to break their spirits (for the Chinese government to control them), but the trios wills were too strong, and they used their new powers to escape. After fleeing China, Wen, Xiao, and Jin soon met Shiro Ximizu, who invited them to join the Men of Tendai. As a Man of Tendai, Wen took the codename Jingwei, after a magic bird from Chinese mythology.
Powers: Wen is an Empowered with the ability to heal his own wounds at an accelerated rate; he can also survive in extreme altitudes and temperatures. After scientists bound him to a controlled sample of the Phalanx parasites, he grew organic metal wings; these wings are super durable and allow him to fly and release sharpened feathers as either projectiles or swords. Wen is a highly educated Confucian gentleman, skilled in traditional Chinese martial arts.

Wolverine:
Real Name: Xiao Kongxin
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Chinese
Biography: Xiao Kongxin was born a sickly child, unfit to fight for the Mongul Empire. It was only until his teenage years that his natural-born healing powers kicked in, and he became much stronger over time. He was one of the finest soldiers in the Mongolian army, second to one Lee Tiao. Xiao and Lee were best friends, both united by their similar powers, which kept the alive through the rise and fall of the Mongolian Empire. Around the end of Kublai Kahns reign in China, Lee attacked and tried to rape a female prisoner of war, and Xiao attacked and nearly killed him. The two were expunged from service, and they went their separate ways, their friendship severed. Xiao traveled the continent, battling many powerful warriors, helping innocents in need, and, all the while, watching history unfold around him, because his powers slow his aging. Months after he returned to China in the 1640s, he was captured by government agents and taken to a Project Wu Qi stronghold. While incarcerated, Xiao planned an escape with fellow captured empowereds Wen and Jin. But before they could enact it, they were sent to the processing facility. They were exposed to the phalanx parasites and mutated into ferro-organic beings. Surviving the process, Xiao and the others broke free and escaped the Project Wu Qi facility. After fleeing China, Wen, Xiao, and Jin soon met Shiro Ximizu, who invited them to join the Men of Tendai. As a Man of Tendai, Xiao chose the name Wolverine.
Powers: Xiao is an Empowered with the ability to heal his own wounds at an accelerated rate; he can also survive diseases and extreme temperatures, and his aging is slowed. After scientists bound him to a controlled sample of the Phalanx parasites, Xiaos bones turned into organic metal and he gained the ability to extend and contract foot-long, organic metal blades from his knuckles (3 from each hand). Wolverine is a highly trained soldier and martial artist, speaks Mongolian, Chinese and Japanese, and has above-human-level strength/speed/senses/agility/reflexes/stamina.

Colossus:
Real Name: Jin Ren
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Chinese
Biography: Jin, a titanic figure with a gentle heart, discovered his advanced regeneration ability when his familys farm in mainland China was raided by bandits. He survived the raiders attacks and he used his natural strength to defend his parents and little sister. One of the bandits escaped Jins wrath, but was soon caught by the royal guard; the bandit told them about the farm boys powers, and the soldiers later kidnapped Jin. While incarcerated, Jin planned an escape with fellow captured empowereds Xiao and Wen. But before they could enact it, they were sent to the processing facility. They were exposed to the phalanx parasites and mutated into ferro-organic beings. Surviving the process, Jin and the others broke free and escaped the Project Wu Qi facility. After fleeing China, Wen, Xiao, and Jin soon met Shiro Ximizu, who invited them to join the Men of Tendai. As a Man of Tendai, Jin took the codename Colossus.
Some months and several missions after joining the team, Colossus, Wolverine, and Jingwei started suffering weird dreams about a cloaked figure in a temple in a desert. They merely wrote it off as stress acquired from their duties, until the Sentinels, empowered-hunting golems created with the Phalanx, started attacking normal humans. Eventually, the Sentinels started leaving Asia, along with Wolverine, Colossus, Jingwei, and other phalanx-created agents of Wu Qi. The Men of Tendai followed the at a safe distance, fearing that theyre under mind-control. Eventually, all those affected with the parasites gathered in the same spot: a temple in Egypt.
Powers: Jin is an Empowered with the ability to heal his own wounds at an accelerated rate; he can also survive diseases and extreme temperatures. After scientists bound him to a controlled sample of the phalanx parasites, Jins skin, muscles, eyes, hair, and nails become organic metal, giving him a greater level of strength, stamina, reflexes, and speed. The only problem is that his bones and internal organs arent of the same property, so a strong-enough punch would be capable of rupturing Colossus innards while leaving his metal muscles unbroken. Jin isnt as educated or as combative as his fellow experiments-turned-Men of Tendai, but hes a great farmer and chef, with a strong sense of loyalty to his friends.

Storm:
Real Name: Motreen Kanda
Species: Cursed Human
Nationality: African (Tanzania)
Biography: Long before his reign over all of Tanzania, an African country, Wakesa Kanda was a powerful warrior, fighting against other warring tribes in a long-raging civil war. MBaku, the leader of the White Gorilla tribe, suffered defeat at the hands of Kanda and used his peoples magics to curse his first-born, so that they may cause death and destruction wherever they go. Years later, Kanda became the ruler of the united tribes of Tanzania, and appointed a powerful new champion to the role of the kingdoms protector, the Black Panther. Some time after the tribes unification, King Wakesa and his wife sired a daughter, Motreen. The curse that MBaku brought upon the Kanda house went into effect the moment the baby girl took her first breath, and for months the capital city of the kingdom has been plagued by massive storms. The Black Panther learned that this curse was White Gorilla magic, and he interrogated MBaku to reveal how to lift the curse; MBaku told him that the curse only passes from firstborn to the firstborns firstborn, and so on until the bloodline is interrupted. Upon hearing this, Wakesa decided to keep his daughter in exile, rather than have her die. In the deepest part of the palaces basement is where Motreen spent most of her 10-year life, studying under Africas finest mystics and combat masters to control her emotions and, in turn, her powers. The only time she ever left her home is when she was kidnapped by South Vietnamese bandits. One of the bandits, a young man named Cheo, had a change of heart and tried to free her, but he was nearly killed by the ruler of South Vietnam and his psychic powers. The evil psychic tried to make Motreen his weapon for conquering the North, but he was defeated by Shiro Ximizu, a benevolent psychic and leader of the Men of Tendai. Ximizu invited Motreen and Cheo, who also has powers, to join his team of heroes, and they both agreed, after they got permission from their fathers.
Powers: Motreen is a normal human, but she was cursed by her fathers enemy to cause destruction wherever she goes. The weather patterns she (unintentionally) creates are tied to whichever emotion she feels at the time:
Joy: Snow (from a few flakes to a blinding blizzard)
Sadness: Rain (from light drizzle to flash flood)
Fear: Wind (from strong enough to carry a human to typhoon speeds)
Anger: Lightning (from night-illuminating cracks to human-frying bolts)
Motreen is trained to control her emotions in order to create perfectly-timed weather fluctuations that help her allies and harm her enemies.
She is a student of the mystic arts and she speaks Japanese and Tanzanian.

Gambit:
Real Name: Cheo Luong
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Vietnamese
Biography: Cheo Luong, a Vietnamese Empowered, was raised by the Luong Thieves Guild, headquartered in the city of Nha Trang. When Cheo came of age, the Guild was tapped by the Nguyen Lords, who control the South, for an important mission that would win them the war against the Trinh Lords of the North. Cheo, his father Chi Luong, and a small group of thieves were sent to the African kingdom of Tanzania to retrieve a powerful weapon, hidden in the deepest basement of the palace. The thieves managed to penetrate the first 3 chambers without incident, but the final before the weapons vault was already fortified by a large platoon of Tanzanian soldiers, led by the countrys champion. As Chi Luong battled the champion, the Black Panther, Cheo broke into the vault, but he found no weapon; just a young girl with snow white hair. She was scared of him, but Cheo had his orders and took the girl topside. Outside, the girl revealed her power over the weather and tried to escape on a gust of wind; Cheo struck her with a card encoded with his mind-control pheromones, which put her into a trace, canceling her weather powers. The thieves escaped with the girl, but when they returned to Vietnam, Cheo started having second thoughts. He used his powers to rouse the girl from her vegetative state, and he tried to help her escape from the Nguyen Palace and return to her homeland. Freedom was within reach, when the Thieves Guild operatives he worked with stopped them. Puch Nguyen, the Lord of the South, gave Cheo and the girl one last chance to surrender, and when he refused, the Thieves began convulsing in pain! Cheos father and friends were being slowly murdered, and Lord Nguyen, revealed to be an Empowered telepath called The Shadow King, was the culprit. Cheo tried to attack the Blackened Lord, but he turned his minds eye to him, too. The Shaodw King told the girl to become his weapon, or these men will DIE.
The girl, Motreen, was about to agree when the Lord began convulsing in pain and the thieves regained their composure. On the astral plane, the Blackened Lord battled and lost to the noble telepath Shiro Ximizu, who had taken the form of a demonic samurai to lock the Kings mind away forever. Ximizu later met Cheo and Motreen in his telepathic form, and invited them to join the Men of Tendai. They both agreed, after they got permission from their fathers.
Powers: Gambit is an expert gambler, conman, thief, saboteur, and spy, and he can speak 4 different languages, including Japanese. His specialty game is tien len, which he plays with a deck of Western-style cards that he carries on his person at all times. The cards (which he throws like shuriken) and a 3-sectioned staff are Gambits main weapons, made deadlier with his natural Empowered ability: the power to generate pheromones. These pheromones, when exposed to a cognitive creature, allow Gambit to briefly influence their state of mind; Gambits use of the pheromones range from revealing a gamblers tell to causing heart attacks.

Rogue:
Real Name: Nikusui, aka Niku
Species: Empowered
Nationality: Japanese
Biography: Niku lost her family at a young age, and the people of her village decided to continue raising her, themselves. When she was 11, she tried to kiss her boyfriend, Angou Komadori, her powers activated for the first time and, like a baby snake that cant control its venomous bite, she nearly killed him by absorbing too much of his life energy. Her people turned on her and she was driven from her own home. She knew that only her lips could steal life energy, so she forced herself never to get close to anyone again, lest she give way to her feelings and steal their life through another kiss. Niku wandered Japan for months, stealing what she could to survive. Eventually, she came across a fox demoness who was heavily injured, with an x-shaped scar across her abdomen. Niku nursed the demoness back to health, and stayed with her in the forest. When the demoness came back to health, she decided to raise Niku as her daughter. At 16, Niku was introduced to the Fraternity of Power, a group of Empowereds (like Niku) and non-human creatures dedicated to conquering normal humans. Niku joined the Fraternity, and she, along with two other members, sacked the village that rejected her. In the midst of the attack, she was reunited with Angou, who she thought she was dead. Angou was able to forgive Niku for what happened, and she realized that she made a horrible mistake. She used her powers on one fraternity member, and then use his pyrokinetic powers to defeat the other. Niku disappeared from the Fraternitys view until she reappeared as Rogue, a member of the Fraternitys enemies, the Men of Tendai.
Powers: Niku has the ability to absorb life energy and copy memories and superpowers through lip contact with her victims flesh; the longer she makes contact, the longer she possesses these powers. Her hair turns white when he has someones powers, and it gradually turns back to brown as the power fades. Nikusui also has average martial art skills and great seduction skills, taught by her adoptive mother.

Nightcrawler:
Real Name: Gitsune
Species: Demon
Nationality: Japanese
Biography: Gitsunes father Totsuou, the warlord of a troop of Oni that escaped from Hell, found his infant son on the outskirts of his encampment, nine months after Totsuou laid with a demoness prostitute. Totsuou raised Gitsune, but the child was shunned by the other oni for resembling a fox spirit, who are servants of the Shinto goddess Inari. When he came of age, Gitsune was given by his father a necklace with a gold skull; this trinket belonged to his mother, which she left behind after she fornicated with Totsuou. Gitsune left his home in the mystical guise of a human to search for his mother, traveling from town to town using teleportation, an ability he inherited from his father. In the city of Osaka is where he found the answers he sought: in a brothel called The Storm Shelter, one of many controlled by the Hellfire Club, he presented the gold skull to one of the oiran, who brought Gitsune to a room marked with a painting of a golden skull. The he introduced himself to Karasu, the courtesan controlling the pleasure chamber, he presented the necklace and said I believe that you are my mother. Karasu, after making sure nobody was looking, asked Gitsune to reveal his true form. He did, which left Karasu comfortable to reveal hers: a blue-furred fox demoness with 4 tails and a streak of red fur along her head and back. In their demon forms, the mother and son traveled to the underground kingdom of Avalon, where Karasu, under the alias Mystique, aides Aegis and the Fraternity of Power in their war against normal humans. Gitsune decided to join the Fraternity, and he took the name Nightcrawler. In a battle against the Men of Tendai, Nightcrawler and Rogue did battle, neither one aware of the others connection to Mystique. Trickster teleported with her into the air and released her, dropping her into a lake; instantly penitent over his action, Gitsune rescued Niku from drowning and gave her the breath of life. It was then that he learned that teleporting with another super-being reverses their powers temporarily, meaning that when their lips touched, he copied her memories instead of the other way around. With her memories in his head, Gitsune learned that Niku was raised by Karasu as a daughter. Outraged that his own mother had more compassion for another persons child instead of her own flesh and blood, he attacked her and left the Fraternity.
For the next few months, Gitsune lived outside the Tendai School, contemplating his feelings, and he soon enough chose getting to know his new-found sister, Niku, over returning to his father. In the end, Nightcralwer became a new Man of Tendai.
Powers: As a fox-like demon, Gitsune has advanced speed/reflexes/senses/stamina/agility, along with fangs, blue and white fur, a tail, and claws. He was also born with the ability to teleport; when Gitsune teleports when in contact with a superpowered being, their powers are temporarily reversed.

Shadowcat:
Real Name: Koneko
Species: Cat Person
Nationality: Japanese
Biography: Koneko is a member of the Cat People, a creation of dark ages sorcery residing in Northern Japan. Konekos older sister, Kuroneko, abandoned her when she was a child, and she was raised by her older cousin, Sujineko. The Cat People were later enslaved by their enemies, the Dog People, and Koneko and Sujineko (and most of the other Cat Women) were forced to be sex slaves to the alpha, Mad Dog. Sujineko escaped and became Devilcat, a vicious freedom fighter. Devilcat later joined a superhero team called the Regalia in order to build the resistance against her people's oppressors. The Madhound, on the verge of defeat, then struck a bargain with the Regalia: if Sujineko resumed her duties as consort, he would free Koneko. Sujineko agreed, and Koneko was allowed to leave her conquered land. Without a home, Koneko wandered the islands of Japan, under the guise of a human. She soon came across an injured baby dragon; she nursed him back to health and named him Lucky. Lucky soon revealed that not only does he have telepathic powers, hes also the son of a benevolent dragon king. Koneko returned Lucky to his family, the Pride, and the grateful father gave her a gift they gave to no non-dragon before: the dragonic magic of shadow-walking. With the power of shadow-walking, Koneko can use the darkness as a passage to freedom, and with this power, she decided to take down Mad Dog, once and for all. After a failed mission that she barely escaped from, Koneko, now calling herself Shadowcat, learned that she couldnt do it alone, and since she cursed the Regalia for letting her only family be enslaved by the Dogs, she joined the Men of Tendai instead. The team eventually defeated the Dog People and freed the Cat People from enslavement; Devilcat returned to the Regalia, and Shadowcat remained with the Men of Tendai.
Powers: Koneko has the ability to use shadows as magic passageways through solid matter. Trained by Wolverine, Koneko is a competent martial artist and swordswoman in her own right. She also has cat-like physical properties, such as claws, a tail, pointed ears, and a barbed tongue.

Mr Scatterbrain as Mad Hatter

Now that I did Mr. Scatterbrain, I finally decided to do this idea I had for a long time! Also since my brother did his Alice in wonderland production with his chorus team.

Here is Mr. Scatterbrain as the Mad Hatter from the 1951 adaption of "Alice in Wonderland". He is very hyper man who loves having tea parties with the March Hare. He also likes celebrating "un-birthday parties" with whoever claims it's theirs today.

If you wanna know why I made this. Here's the main reason. Ever since I started watching the Mr. Men Show, I thought Mr. Scatterbrain has the voice as the Mad Hatter since they're both silly. Of course, Mr. Scatterbrain's voice was inspired by actor Ed Wynn, who does the voice of the Mad Hatter in the 1951 Disney film. Here's the clips to show that they sounded familiar.

X-men-TMNT Issue 1

Looking at Ivybeth's gallery basically got the whole ball rolling on this thing. Joe Mad's Wolverine and DLP's Raph both colored in the same style looked just as good in one image. Raph and Wolverine is just a natural match. Both have a temper and both come at you with 3 sharp points on each hand.

Colors work perfectly. Wolvie is blue and yellow, Raph is green and red. This could have been colored with a 4-crayon pack from Pizza Hut but I'm pretty sure Ivybeth had a better idea.

The logo choice was just the first to pop in my head. I personally think these are the best logos ever of each franchise in their hay-day. Classic 80s EPIC WIN

Thanos mounts the six Infinity Gems on his left glove to form the titular Infinity Gauntlet. Each Gem grants its bearer complete mastery over one aspect of the multiverse: Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Reality, and Power. Now all-powerful and desperate to win the affections of Death, Thanos decides to offer the entity a gift of love by completing a task she had given him, erasing half the sentient life in the universe (including most of the X-Men, Daredevil, and the Fantastic Four), quite literally with a snap of his fingers. The surviving heroes on Earth band together guided by the newly-resurrected Adam Warlock to battle Thanos. In a bid to impress Death, Thanos allows the heroes a slight chance of winning, but easily defeats and kills almost all of them. Thanos then goes on to defeat and imprison many of the universe's cosmic entities including Galactus. as always #2 pencil and blending stumps. comments are welcome.

MY TOP 20 X-MEN FOES

I know that I'm not eloquent. In a way , I am not all that well versed in litterature & vocabulary, making it hard for me to coherently explain my opinions . As for my fanfic , I'm still writing but I go slowly since I crave for coherency & want it to be somewhat decent .(& also that 2 people actually bother to read whatever I do & for that they have No Idea How Friggin Grateful I am for their patience & appreciation...)
Now this poster is a way to illustrate a Top 20. I'm giving the x-men villains that I a) Love or really like b) am interested in using c) will resurrect with a new plan in mind (rewriting the same stuff with them would be boring...) d) deserve more love & respect rather than the spite & hack writing most of them have been subjected to lately.(like being jobbed to make some A_hole look better instead of an epic send-off.
Just so you know kids, I'm kinda in hurry right now . So in short the villain , theme song(the one I thought 'd be fitting , open for debate of course), I'll explain the positions later (it'd help if you ask , pleeeeeaaaase......)

Being from an alternate reality was never a valid argument to hate a character. Case in point this fine gentleman deserves being used in horror driven stories. I mean take a good look at the damn thing ! 2 meters tall, a hundred teeth with the size of bananas & a tongue as sharp as a spear. He's quite knowledgeable in genetics & core reactor & a size-changing cannibal. With the right artist, I'm convinced this guy can be shit-your-pants sort of scary as well as a formidable. Of course they forget about that....
I chose this theme since his appearance in AOA was just that damn creepy, besides he can smell fear !

19Lady Deathstrike
Now, while her reasons to chase Logan can be quite weird, Yuriko can be 2 kinds of adversary: the one that chases tirelessly for a vengeance or because , well , she was paid to. Other than that, she kills for self-defense (not that strange considering her line of work),& can sell you any cybernetic body part you want for a price & , if personnal, will fight you on even ground.

Dr Lykos looks like a flying pteranodon that eats energy through his palms, that's really comic book idea here people. Add to that the flair to the dramatic & Dr Doomesque rants, Sauron is always fun to read loudly. His stint with weapon X should end with regaining all of his intelligence to have his rightful place as a villain that is truly resilient to be a threat to a team. I aim to do that...

17Shadow King
Ahmal Farouk seems to get tired rather quickly , but there's still his malevolent hedonist side that makes him worthwile. The king is a man that can attack through mafia connections or your soul if you ever encounter him. These possessions have to be tweaked in the right way to keep their flavour...

Ya know, seemingly ridiculous killers are sort of of rare these days. The theme I chose is not random at all because 1) they're blue-eyed redheads 2) Killing is their jobs except that our present friend is paid to do so 3) they look harmless but definitely aren't, which is an advantage. People definitely need to remember how frightening a mercenary that also bets his own life can be .And by that , I don't mean turning him into J. Dahmer, but to let you know that his attraction parks , corny as they can be, are made to kill... with style.

Seriously , why is he that omitted in top lists? In his first appearances he managed to own the whole original+ & Polaris, & later Excalibur (with a no pushover roster either..). His weapon X agent run is whatgrants him his place & the way he uses them what makes him relatable is that we ALL WOULD DO WHAT HE DOES !( well nearly all of it..)

A soviet serial killer turned super soldier . Then once reprogrammed , became a kingpin with ambition... say what you will but Arkady deserves better than being the punchbag villain in that month's issue! For fuck sake people, No normal person would survive long enough within this guy 's range (death factor being a reason for starters) & to boot, he's skilled in brawling & killing! Such a formidable opponent still has untapped fuel in him, the cartoon already touched a particular trait that can be expanded with this particular quote "Do you know how painful it is to be a weapon, and spend the rest of your life unused ?", food for thought ain't it?

I know what you're gonna say " come on, a Gen X villain?", YES, I've always believed the Gen X & X-force deserved to be the new x-men rather than be the rookies (which is why you always see me insisting on that point. My disgust for how they keep pulling them from their true badassery to just make them canon fodder knows no bound...). Marius has the greed & scary look to be enough of a nightmare inducing creature. He is glutton enough to take on many enemies powers at a time.Besides , he's the Michael Myers to Monet's Laurie...

GAAAh! How to speak of DuParis without getting unnerved at how stupidly writers hold the crusader back. What's wrong with Exodus ? He does have a fanatical & focused mind , yet does have enough honor to look badass rather than a single-minded killer (remember, he thinks he's indebted to Magneto... & YET THEY RARELY TRY USING THEM BOTH IN A TEAM-UP.) Anyhow, he can be a godsend when fighting a common threat & a true problem when you are on his way. Maybe they should have gone with the heir of Magneto plan after all...

You'd have seen by now that while not being what I call a villainess per say, Maddie is still a formidable foe that needs a reestablishment. Let's see this, she's been hurt by Scott's depression & had her sanity broken to a thousand pieces by her "father".
I genuinely see that she should be used sparringly & for tragic horror driven stories (what would a broken mother do to restart her life from zero, why take it from someone else of course! By ...ANY...mean necessary...) . Being a clone is actually a valid enough motivation to go coockoo , especially when you've been thrown away in the trash... & as for the theme song , well , her "dad" looks like Rob Zombie when you look closer at it, & she " has blood on her skin dripping with sin" & I'll bring her back from the dead !

10Sebastian Shaw
Here's the thing , Shaw never seemed all that motivated by an ideology. He's more of " it's business, don't take it personally" kind of villainy, which doesn't make him less ruthless. The idea of the egotistical & successful businessman as a foe to the x-men is quite good, that's the Shaw i enjoy reading about. (& the lech they shat out later or the movie version? He 's neither a telepath nor a nazi for god sake...)

I know that there's another mad scientist in this list but this one is a particular specimen. By Mad , I mean the doctor who would melt you in a protein goo for the sake of playing with your genes to see what we'll happen next FOR SCIENCE. Seriously reread AOA & you'll see why the beast earned this nickname . They really made him too tame... Let's give Hank a bit of a makeover, & by that I mean the right place to exploit his talents to the max. Where would guinea pigs mutants hide to be easily picked ?

The one word that should come to mind when talking anout the black queen herself is "predator". By all meaning of the words people, whatever they are , are her food. In the sack, she 's a praying mantis & in a fight she's a demoness, a super-powered Elizabeth Batory. Not only does she master her mutant gift to the perfection as well as mystical knowledge to organise her hunts. Thought to be a goddess by her people but seen as a devil by her foes. Was I clear enough about my appreciation here?

Surprised that he'd be below the top 5? Be even more surprised that the ones below have more fuel as villains than the master of magnetism. No , he is not the X-men greatest foe,he's their mentor's greatest rival!I don't know why they always make him the star - he is NOT the most ideologically-enduring villain, not by a long shot.Nowadays he's whatever a writer makes of him & , while not always a bad thing, it goes sometimes beyond the boundaries of good taste. There's mustache twirling & large ham Stan Lee version; the tormented, ruthless yet principled , almost heroic version of Claremont (close to the TAS version); the frightening,violent , methodical & clever Lobdell/Nicieza one (close to the evolution version) & the (it must be said ) dull,idiotic, vulgar,pedophiliac ,drugged up, borderline retarded Magneto of Morrison (evil isn't necessarily stupidity, ya baldheaded junkie, the plan is... oh I'll develop another time.) ; and the (sorry) just plain dull washed up, cleaned of his sins ,poodle to the new Gary Stu in charge current version (one of the reason my fanarts & fic s are being made).
While tragic , his origin has dulled due to how many times he goes on & on & on & on about it. Mainly on this list because of the good stories that have been written with him (last one being ... well take a guess !)

The femme fatale of the rogues gallery. While she does love Rogue like daughter & Irene like ... a lover (yeah , I'm not that well spoken, sorry), she dumped Kurt off a cliff after shagging the german baron (because I SAID SO!) & killed Graydon Creed the son she had with Sabretooth ( guess Vic's sperm has the power to pierce condoms!). Raven's biggest strength is that she's a spy first & foremost, both cartoons used her quiet well (although my preference leans towards the evolution version since he had a better place to antagonise the heroes.)

5Weapon X
To keep this short, I'm more interested in an organization that uses mutants & mutates while trying to get rid of rebellious elements rather than the whole Giant trash cans that KILL MUTANTS while cusing more collateral than said dangerous mutants (face it folks , the only convincing sentinel were a) the rare evolution version b)the OZT humansized Bastion led ones, & even those don't do much for me...). Besides, Trask , Stryker Sublime & Colcord pale in comparison with Jackson who's a really nuanced & cool backstabber & that knows how to pull people chains.

I always hear on forums "boring, whiny , Liefeld stuff , blah blah blah..." about this guy.To that I call BULLSHIT. Now if you look at him with open eyes , Stryfe actually has a lot of different cards to play as an antagonist. Think of him as a mixture of Souther from HNK & Annie Wilkes versatility with a flavour of shakespearesque ranting & you're close to the mark. He takes pettiness & turns it into a form of art, he conceived a plague to get to his brother & parents , causing a lot of people to get caught in between. We're talking about a kid who in well-spoken brattiness managed to create an army to follow him & making them think that he cared for them while he didn't give a damn. He should definitely be used as a larger scale threat rather than an anxilliary villain...

Kids, I am honestly disappointed at how many of you have forgotten what an amazing monster Victor Creed has always been. Some say that Logan can do without him, but I'd say the opposite is far closer to the truth. Sabes is the Hannibal Lecter +Freddy of x-men villains not only Wolverine. The whole savage animal brawling style & brutish appearance are a mask to an extremely clever, ruthless & manipulative bastard. Without any power or whatsoever , Victor loves mind screw that turn his victim into a psychotic mess since he'll deduce their shortcomings or if they have skeletons in the closet... THE GUY OWNED FRIGGIN XAVIER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Just by getting close to make Prof X admitting his failures.
And about Wolverine, well, without the supporting characters blike Jubilee or Enemies like Victor allow me to tell you that he becomes nothing more than a shell to stamp on covers. Yes kids, Wolvie needs Sabes , not the other way around!

One of the greatest mad scientists in comics & the embodiment of the tragic concept of thirst for knowledge being the ruin of the soul. Dr Essex does transcend the whole good/ Evil dichotomy, he's only interested in how the species shall improve over period of time. While his experiments have ruined countless lives, the man still believes in his mission for the sake of science & a better world; He's not concerned about human/mutant farrago, which already makes him beyond the racist A-holes.
In short, Nathaniel has never been one-note & a golden character whose relevance is equal to that of science & the ethical questions revolving around it.
Which is why this super-powered non-nazi Mengele is worthy of praise...

YOU HEARD RIGHT! This guy is not only oosing with potential but has the ingredients to be used in alot of stories, unlike Magneto who only has an on-off switch button when it comes to being the antagonist. En Sabah Nur on the other hand has a lot more going for him & deserves to have all the sides of his personality to be explored. He is actually polydimensional & compelling;
_ His survival of the fittest mantra is neither good nor evil. He is nothing more than the harbinger of The Strong - he's all-but the living incarnation of natural selection. His motives are amongst the most sincere of all, whilst at the same time are perhaps the most brutal. Apocalypse's overwhelming power has obviously not seen him win out - although at least in Cable's dystopian future he had- its the incredibly patient and utterly complex mind behind his actions that are most impressive. I would challenge pretty much any of the geniuses in the marvelverse to better Apocalypse on a good day. His enemity with Nathan & Sinister was really really underrated & unexplored.
_He has a tragic past. No make that lives through tragedy! He's the posterchild of rejected feared & hated because of his appearance, yet he never let that keep him down. The few people who loved were either killed or ended up betraying him. But Apoc DOESN't Bitch & moan about it! Give him credit for that! 5000 years of rejection & only earning fear & spite (I mean Archangel is really an ungrateful child isn't he?)
_The A buckle isn't more ridiculous than the guys wearing speedos on their trousers plus it means awesome for him & assholes to his enemies or the marvel writers that dare insult his greatness!
_ As for the whole " he does the same thing over & over", it's wrong. His goal is consistent, but the methods to achieve them are endless ! Hell in the cartoons (TAS & Evolution) Anytime he appeared he always did something different! Why Comic writers just don't see the depth & multifaceted potential of an egyptian ancient megamorph is just fucking beyond me ! It's really up to those goddamn hacks to do so!
So Say whatever you will , but Apocalypse is an amazing being that never has been appreciated for his true glorious epicness & keeps getting it denied from him while he's in fact far more interesting & deeper than what most people think !

XME New X-Men part 2

Squad 3 and non-affiliated but related characters. Decided to merge this and the third one together here.

As last time, Made using artwork by Steven E Gordon, but also with help from bases made by Ronnie Thunderbolts.

Name: Elizabeth Betsy Braddock
Codename: Psylocke
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Female
Power: Telepathy, Telekinesis. Her telepathy is mostly personified as a psychic Butterfly around her eyes, while her Telekinesis is personified as a purple aura. She can form force fields, fly, and make a psychic blade with the air and use it as an offensive weapon.
Uniform Notes: While I'm mostly proud of the way it turned out, the hair is still a mess to me. The uniform design came from X-Men Legends. The Base source: S E Gordon's site, actually had her in her Asian form, but I wanted this to be before that happened, back when she was still a student, and as such I gave her a less revealing uniform than the one on the site, or her comic one.
Civvies Notes: This Im actually proud of, as it looks like something a real English Teenager would wear (Living in England myself helps). Not too proud of the shoes, but, am I ever proud of the shoes?
Personal Notes: Dresses mostly in purple and gothic clothes, but is mostly a carefree individual. She has a tendency to get into fights and arguments and is easily provoked. She doesnt like to fall into traditional female roles, proffering action and adventure, but is still a teenage girl. A much better fighter than her brother, she practices Mandarin Martial Arts and has a black belt in it. Shes capable of killing five men if she needs to, but luckily has never needed to. Still an Action Junkie, she loves to go on missions and get into danger for the thrill of getting out.
Power level: Level 6: Beta
Ideal Voice Actor: Before I picked them, I spent a short while looking for someone who I thought would work well for it. As I'm British and kinda patriotic, I really didn't want a cliché upper class accent or a cockney accent for Psylocke or Capt B, I wanted someone who actually sounded British to the average British person. So, after a few searches, I came to Kate Ashfield, as she was the only British actress who wouldn't be unable to voice a cartoon character and has a young sounding voice,.

Name: Brian Braddock
Codename: Captain Britain II
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Male
Power: Super strength, speed, and durability, Force field generation and flight (Capable of such speeds to fly from America and Britain within 5-10 minutes,). Being a descendent from King Arthur, Brian, and by extension his sister, can wield the Sword of Might 'X-Calibre', which both arguments his powers and also provides a powerful melee weapon. When in Contact with Betsy, they can use their powers to much greater effect. Also has a psychic bond with Betsy, he is completely immune to her powers and vice versa, they can connect mentally from anywhere on the planet, and can, if willing, block out any telepathic intrusion.
Uniform Notes: His suit is mostly inspired by his most common comic design. Originally it included extra details such as the individual flags of England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, along with a golden belt, but I felt that made it look fairly cheesy and look like a very patriotic superhero band geek. Again, his hair is the one thing I'm not really proud of.
Civvies Notes: Again, like Betsy, this is the kind of things British people wear-Minus the red Jeans, Ive seen people wear them, but its not that common- Black jacket, blue shirt, I know people who dress like that.
Personal Notes: Head strong, hot headed, but a capable thinker who takes advanced classes in both Physics and biology, Brian is by anyone's standards a hero. His flight power, while incredibly powerful, is also a drain on his energy, and takes up about a third of his overall body energy to use for 5 hours straight. Prone to self doubt, he is still capable of making friends easily and willing to protect the ones he cares about to the death. His father being the first Captain Britain, and one of the oldest mutants in England gives him a goal in life: To make his father's legacy last as long as possible. Extremely shy around girls however, he blushes with embarrassment if one flirts with him and has never seen a dirty magazine out of shyness-And Because Betsy would likely kick him in the nuts if he did. The opposite of her in fighting style, instead of a particular style, hell just go out and fight, no special moves, no special training, just throw his fists around head butt a few times, maybe while chanting England repeatedly. Similar to Juggernaut, Brian didn't originally possess his powers, but following a motorbike accident, a mysterious being who knew his father provided him the Stone Of Might, which unlocked his latent X-Gene powers.
Power level: Level 4 (Strength) and 6 (Force fields and flight): Beta
Ideal Voice Actor: Andrew-Lee Potts. As said above, I didn't want anyone who sounded too stereotypical. Perfect for him. And, he's not unknown in America, Primeval has, from what I've heard, a relitivly large North American fanbase, so much so that Canada are making their own spin off. I may have to watch that actually.

Name: Julian Keller
Codename: Hellion
Age as of now in Story: 16
Gender: Male
Power: Generation of Kinetic energy from his hands, capable of lifting objects as large objects, much bigger than himself. Capable of using this to fly at speeds to rival the black bird.
Uniform Notes: Red and black, whats a more awesome mix? Looks sort of like his comic one, but more half assed and not as even, but still Ok.
Civvies Notes: I wanted a punk Rock style for him, something to match his reckless attitude, so this works perfectly.
Personal Notes: Hot-headed and Narcissistic, Hes the type of guy people will have mixed feelings about. While friendly to those he cares about, hes the big brother to the people he sees as his friends. He likes to show up his team mates, because since his first day of training hes been told that he has the potential to be the best mutant in the world, and as such sees himself as the only sane member of the X-Men.
Power level: Level 6: Beta
Ideal Voice Actor: Johnny Yong Bosch. Yes, the voice of, if you're an anime fan, Ichigo, or, if you're nostalgic, the original Black/Green Power Ranger, or, if you like shooting games/Trransformers, the voice of WfC Bumblebee. Why? The above mentioned examples.

Name: Laura Logan
Codename: X-23
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Female
Power: Regenerative healing factor, bone claws, advanced senses. Admantium bones, claws capable of cutting through steal and titanium like they were butter. Capable of regenerating 3 quarters of her body mass within 5 days.
Uniform Notes: In case you can't tell, her uniform was based on her X-Force design combined with her future X-Men one. It took me ages to decide how I wanted it to look, I was going to give her forked boots and cargo pants, but decided it looks stupid for both a uniform, and for Evolution. So I made this design, I'm mostly proud of it, except the feet, ignore her deformed right foot.
Civvies Notes: If you cant tell, X-23s civvies are modelled after her general Comic clothes, merged with a more military feel. I wanted something that looked like what a boy would wear instead, so I modelled some of the design after what Kurt looked like as a girl in that one episode, but given a more X-23 look. Also, added Goth design as well, during an attempt to escape HYDRA during one of their attempts to kidnap her, she and a fellow X-Man took refuge in a mall, and in an attempt to escape disguised her as a goth, but later realized it suits her.
Personal Notes: Angry and sullen, yet Stoic and depressed, X-23 is hard to describe. She's more disturbed than any student, which makes her feel like an outsider amongst outsiders. While she struggles to understand normal teenaged behaviour, she's also starting to adapt to some social norms, but has taken a small alternative step, in going with a goth style.
Power level: Level 1 (Claws): Alpha, and 8 (Healing): Gamma
Ideal Voice Actor: No need to pick one, already has two to choose from already since in her two appearances she had two different VAs.

Name: Josh Foley
Codename: Elixr
Age as of now in Story: 16
Gender: Male
Power: Ability to produce a form of energy that causes Cells to reproduce, effectively re growing damaged flesh. Capable of also generating another form of energy that instead causes Cells to grow tumours, allowing him to inflict upon deserving individuals cancer, thought he doesnt let them die of it. His skin colour reflects the powers hes using, Gold means heal, Coal black means death.
Uniform Notes: He was given a more medic-look for his design, slightly modelled after one he wore in the comics at one point, but with red thrown in for added awesome.
Civvies Notes: I give him a more darker, moody design, since hes not the most positive person. I cant help but look at his design and instantly think Dark moody person, should be played by Robert Patterson, he could use a good movie role to get out of the Twilight worm hole hes stuck in.
Personal Notes: The medic of the group, and one of the most sarcastic people in the world, he likes to make dark comments and insults about things, and call people out on things. Hes practically House with gold skin and a working leg, as hes just so pessimistic he will bring people from the brink of death, only to then make them wish he let them die. However, to those he cares about, he will act as supportive as possible, and is defensive over his team. He wasnt always sullen, but then again his girlfriend did get killed by HYDRA and the Purifiers when the two attacked the Mansion, looking for X-23. He was also a former member of the Reavers, a street gang that prided themselves in attacking mutants, in fact its there when His power emerged when he was badly injured by Maximus, a mutant with energy abilities who didnt like his attitude.
-Little known Secret: Duncan Mathews is his cousin, and its through him he joined the Reavers.
Power level: Level 9: Gamma
Ideal Voice Actor: Ok, this is either going to get mass squees, or flaming hatred, and before I say it remember I really don't like Twilight, except for how utterly bad it was that it was actually kinda funny at times, but Robbert Patterson. Yes, big, film star known for his hair, but he's actually fairly sarcastic, kinda funny, and a pretty good actor in the none Twilight roles I've seen him perform. The thing is, he actually hates Twilight just as much as the rest of us, and I actually do think of him as a pretty good choice for a role.

Name: Cessily Kincaid
Codename: Mercury
Age as of now in Story: 16
Gender: Female
Power: Her biology has completely changed. She has grown a series of cells that act like living jelly, similar to the Alien Symbiote. Each Cell is coating in Metal, allowing her to survive bullet shots, even when in human form. Unable to turn her power off, she has learnt how to take on a completely human form with the only difference being the metal skin. To contain and control the metal, her nerve endings have expanded to include EVERY cell in her body, including organs and Brain stem, so she can easily shape shift with full control, and as long as she can make contact with it regroup lost mass. Healing factor as a backup in case she loses too much mass.
Uniform Notes: Modelled after her Comic clothing design, with virtually no change other than accidental ones caused by poor memory.
Civvies Notes: I wanted something slightly more feminine than the other designs and not sure if thats how it turned out. Hate the feet, hate drawing bare feet, but didnt want to use the same types of shoes over and over, so this is my token sandal wearer.
Personal Notes: Quite a weak voiced, Mercury cant go a sentence without stuttering. Extremely self conscious about her powers, considering that their main function is to make her look useless. However, she gets emotional support from Julian and Santo, whore like brothers to her, Laura, who is just as quiet as her, and Betsy, whose like a cool big sister to all of the Team members. Unlike Kurt, she cant hide her mutation with an image inducer, as her semi-liquid form would short it out, if not let it just slide off of her wrist, however, by sticking with Santo, no one is willing to make fun of her without risking his rage.
Power level: Level 4: Beta
Ideal Voice Actor: Mandy Moore. Yes, I admit it, I liked Tangled. Now, lets move on while my nerd cred is still intact.

Name: Santo Vaccarro
Codename: Rockslide
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Male
Power: Growth of large, rocklike growths over his skin, granting durability, incredible strength, and multiple other benefits. Capable of manipulating other rocks to join onto his body, providing more durability, using a magnetic pulse around granite rocks. Every cell in his body is also covered in rock, providing internal protection. Immune to poison.
Uniform Notes: Meh, looks like the thing, is that my purpose? I dont know, but either way, enjoy everyones favourite rock covered freak.
Civvies Notes: Doesnt have civvies, doesnt really need any considering his whole body is now made of rock and I doubt he has anything to hide, the only reason he has pants on in the first place Is a matter of dignity.
Personal Notes: The most boisterous of the X-Men, hes probably the most scary looking of them too. However, beneath his rocky, rough exterior is an even more rocky and rougher interior, and then beneth that is the heart of a big, over grown wrestling nerd, and inside that is a heart of gold. Prone to acting like a selfish bully, he keeps to himself unless provoked and when winning will always gloat, and likes to remind level 1 mutants how useless they are to the X-Men and how they should just live amongst humans. However, his heart is still just a lovable piece of shiny yellow metal that keeps him human, making him fiercely protective over his friends. Always with Hellion and Mercury, he was also a friend to student Anole, who left the X-Men temporarily before the teams were assigned.
Power level: Level 4: Beta
Ideal Voice Actor: Matt 'V1' Hardy. Back when I used to watch Wrestling, The Hardyz were two of my favourite, and when I found out a while back that he's officially retired and when I wanted a Wrestler to voice Santo due to him being a wrestling fan in the comics. Matt Hardy may not be the best choice, but give him a grainier effect, we'll have one.

Name: Doug Ramsey
Codename: Cyther
Age as of now in Story: 16
Gender: Male
Power: The ability to instantly decode scripts and words, allowing him to understand any language he reads or hears. Unable to actually speak these languages however.
Uniform Notes: Meh, a slightly edited version of his only comic uniform.
Civvies Notes: I didnt actually design him or his civvies. In Season 2s premiere episode, Kitty was sat amongst a bunch of nerdy looking teenagers, who appeared to be her friends (Including a blink-and-youll-miss-it-retroactive-cameo of Arcade). The one sat closest to her had blond hair and dressed like this. Blond hair, Kittys human friend, looked friendly, all this got me to one logical conclusion. He was Doug Ramsey, or at least a shout out to him. So I remained Doug a little and had him discover his mutant power following the Apocalypse incident.
Personal Notes: Just your average, quiet little computer nerd-turned-Mission Control. Doug acts as the translator of the X-Men, and gets information for them from information they cant read themselves. Insecure about his power, hes prone to self doubt, which has egged him on into becoming a much better fighter to balance out his relatively weak power. Extremely good friends with Kitty, to the point that he stayed loyal when Mutants were being torn apart at school when they were revealed, even if for his own safety he had to play it down in public.
Power level: Level 1: Alpha
Reason for non affiliation: Not useful for missions, can operate from the Mansion without having to put himself in danger.
Ideal voice Actor:

Name: Remy LeBeau
Codename: Gambit
Age as of now in Story: 19
Gender: Male
Power: Generation of Kinetic energy, causing objects that become filled with it to charge up, until the energy is released as either rocket like momentum, or explodes. The amount of energy needed varies from object to object, but when charged the objects are temporarily more dense and stronger, which is while his Metal staff is so powerful when used as a melee weapon. His eyes produce a psychological effect on people, causing them to trust his every word unless theyre focusing on ignoring it, allowing him to trick people with ease.
Uniform Notes: Like? Its modelled after the film uniforms, along with his film design, and keeping his signature pink colour sceam from the comics. I changed his hair from Evo to make it longer and look like its wet, to symbolize how hes changed since the Apocalypse incident, having abandoned stealing in order to become good.
Civvies Notes: No civvies, but look at him without the jacket.
Personal Notes: Sly as a fox, and as trustworthy as one, Gambit is a trickster, through and through. Formerly a mercenary thief, he would do anything anyone wanted for a price, so long as it doesnt object to his personal morale. A ladies man, he loves to flirt and hit on anything with a skirt, but has his red eyes set on one Southern Belle. However, its not all fun and games Form Gambit. He has a criminal record extending to stealing food for survival, after being left in the hands of the Thieves guild by an unknown person. When the Thieves Guilds arch rivals, the Rippers, got sick of Gambit always ripping them off, they held him down and gorged out his eyes. They were replaced by Mad Mutant Mastermind Doctor Nathaniel Mister Sinister Essex with cloned eyes that provided him with the bonus psychological charm ability to help trick people, in exchange he worked for Magneto, getting info on him and hopefully find out a way to stop Apocalypse return. That job done, he joined the X-Men, planning to do good instead of what he was doing already.
Power Level: Level 6, Possibly 9: Beta
Reason for non affiliation: Instructor, not student. Has been assigned to the first squad, and as such not displayed here.

Name: Piotr Peter Rasputin
Codename: Colossus
Age as of now in Story: 19
Gender: Male
Power: Piotr can coat his cells in an organic, titanium blended metal, giving him enhanced strength and durability. In this form, hes capable of withstanding inhuman amounts of damage without injury and can perform incredibly feats of strength.
Uniform Notes: Quite like it. I had to create the image myself since Colossus never had a character model made, which I find weird. Questionably weird. Decided to blend his Evolution costume with a bit of film costume and Comic-Colossus. That included covering his legs. Im not sure why, but in the show the legs on Colossus costume disappear when hes metalled up. I never got that, so its averted here.
Civvies Notes: None, since I didnt make one. I may do at some point, but probably not for a while.
Personal Notes: Piotr is a gentle soul in the body of a giant. Hes a complete boy scout, helping sick animals and old ladies, and always up for petting puppies. A bit of a dork at heart, he plays Skyrim, watches pirate movies, and always does as told. Always polite, even to those he dislikes, Piotr is the kind of person that if you met them, you wouldnt be able to not like them.
Power Level: Level 4: Beta

Codename: Anole
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Male
Power: Vics power is based on subconscious adaptation, hes unintentionally altering his own physiology to mimic the characteristics of reptiles, specifically lizards. He has many characteristics associated with a variety of reptiles, including regenerative abilities, hardened skin, extra long and prehensile tongue, the ability to camouflage himself and his clothes, and the ability to cross his eyes to see two different images. He could supposedly alter his body to take on the traits of any animal, plant, or organism (or alter his body to any effect he wants) safely without health risks, but is only capable now of reptiles due to a variety of factors.
Uniform Notes: Fairly basic design, nothing original really. Im not particularly proud of the spikes, they dont really look all that good, honestly.
Civvies Notes: I was at first unsure what he should wear, so I went through a couple of ideas and got to this. It looks a little gothish, but its not that bad. The idea for his normal appearance was that hes using an image inducer, so I went with the same general idea for Kurt: He looks about the same with it save for now being human.
Personal Notes: Vic is like a fun brother, hes an all around nice guy who pulls jokes, relaxes, and tries to be everyones friend. Hes got his baggage, naturally, but he only shares these with authority figures and tries to keep the image of a fun guy with a shallow exterior.
Power Level: Level 7: Gamma

Name: Megan Gwynn
Codename: Pixie
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Female
Power: Pixies main ability, besides her physiology, is that she can produce a special dust which, while the effects usually differ from each person, usually causes similar effects to that of someone high off of drugs while on a sugar high at the same time. Her body also has unique properties, other than her discoloured eyes and pink skin, which usually cause some degree of discomfort around others, she possesses two pairs of, partially transparent wings, allowing her to fly like a butterfly.
Uniform Notes: Like Victor, its mostly just her comics costume only reworked slightly. While she looks a little off, Im mostly happy with that (and from what I see of Pixie, being off is part of her character).
Civvies Notes: I cant help but think the skirt looks a little too short for her, but I was trying to avoid some of my usual standard civvies for characters there. Still, she looks like an magical anime school girl.
Personal Notes: An otaku of sorts, shes a young, eccentric girl with a great interest in many different topics and genres, from video games to fashion to the occult, and usually has an odd outlook on things. Due to the nature of her powers, some have wondered if her personality is caused by her powers, or if her powers effect is because of her personality. But, overall, shes just a standard strange girl.
Power Level: Level 1 (wings and appearance) and 2 (Pixie Dust): Alpha
Reason for non affiliation: Still needs to train before being put on active missions.

Name: Jason Meeks
Codename: Ricochet
Age as of now in Story: 17
Gender: Male
Power: Bitten by a similar spider to that of Peter Parker, Meeks has similar abilities. Being strong, fast, able to stick to walls as well as incredibly agility, he has every ability as that as others bitten. Unlike Peter, he has not yet realized what the buzzing sensation in his head is, and as such does not realize he also has a spidey sense to warn him of danger. For combat, he takes use of a pair of stolen magnetic batons, designed by Oscorp, to which he uses for close range and throwing weapons, as well as to travel quickly.
Uniform Notes: Firstly, this is an OC, who was both inspired and named after Ricochet. However, unlike most of my OCs, I didnt remove him when I rewrote my X-Men toy since he was a likable character and a villain, I kept him. Pretty simple. It looks like how I intended, and has a certain level of fancy special suit so its all how I wanted it. Could use more detail, but other than that its good enough.
Civvies Notes: There is none.
Personal Notes: A thrill seeker who enjoys causing a ruckus, Meeks is by no means a heroic figure, though hes not mercilessly cruel. He just wants to have a god time, and maybe make a living while dong it. E avoids conflict to the best of his ability, and will do what he can to avoid a fight, such as striking fast or simply running away, actions he justifies as being pragmatic. Hes a boy without care, essentially Peter Parker, down to his sense of humour, only without learning about responsibility. He took a job for Magneto for the money and protection he would offer, but doing so under the false pretence that hes a mutant, when in reality hes a mutated human (or, mutate or super), making him somewhat reluctant to take part in situations involving people who might know the truth.
Power Level: Nil, not a Mutant, cannot be classified by mutant standards.
Reason for non affiliation: Wildcard, currently with Magnetos group.
Ideal voice Actor: Josh Keaton; as a Nega-Spidey, I figured one of Spideys most beloved voice actors would do well for him.

Okay! So here is my top then hottest animated males! I've been wanting to do this for a while and decided to do this while I had some time to kill. I've written a down who they are and what they are from and also my reasons why I like them, you don't have to read (Because its QUITE a read) but I'd rather you do XD Also I tried not to use more than two Assassins Creed characters (Though admittedly I could fill half the freaking list with hot Assassins Creed characters) I decided to restrict myself.

Okay here we go!

10. Light Yagami (Death note): The reason Light Yagami is at number 10 is that while I still love him as a character my obsession over him as waned somewhat, don't get me wrong I LOVE Death note and the characters (Apart from Near *Stabs repeatedly with a rusty spork*) and the story itself but the series has been over for a while and the rumoured sequel hasn't come out, so I'm not as fanatical about Kira than I used to be <3 I'm sure that will change if there ever is a squeal to Death Note XD As for Light himself he's cool, calm under pressure calculated, EXTREMELY smart and just really hot all around. ALL HAIL KIRA!

9. Haruka (Tactics): I love Tactics and it seems to be one of those really REALLY underrated animé and manga series, hardly anyone seems to have heard of it which is a pity because it's beautifully drawn, animated and written and the relationship between Haruka, who is a demon eating tengu and the human who freed him from his confinement, Kantarou is really in depth and sweet. Haruka himself is a very quiet and withdrawn character, preferring to keep to himself most of the time, mainly due to being unable to remember how he was sealed in the first place or why, however he is protective of Kantarou and does have a soft spot, he also has a love of pretty shiny things much like a crow. I love Haruka because of the way he interacts with Kantarou and the lengths he goes to simply to protect him.

8. Shaun Hastings (Assassins Creed): He's British, sarcastic and nerdy who drinks tea, how can I not love this guy? Seriously every time he opens his mouth I crack up laughing, he's just hilarious and I love nothing more than a guy who can make me laugh. The only reason he's 8th is because he's not as handsome as some of the others but I still love him too much to not put him on the list!

7. Dark Ace (Storm Hawks) He's big, bad and evil, and he has a wicked evil laugh; I loved the Dark Ace in the Storm Hawks series, despite him being the bad guy I always cheered for him because I always believed there was something far more complex behind his character (I loved the fact he harassed a bunch of teenagers even more XD) so much he was my favourite character, needless to say I was PISSED when he was blown up in the season 2 finale!

6. Cole McGrath (Hero) (InFamous) I'll admit, when I first started playing Infamous it was reluctantly, my friend was given a voucher for one free game from the PSN, after the whole play station network hacking incident and he picked InFamous to get for free. One day I was bored and started playing. Aaaaand I was hooked X3 Of course depending on your choices Cole's behaviour changes but I love good Cole (Evil Cole scares me somewhat). Once I beat Infamous I bought the sequel and even the DLC 'Festival of blood' (Which is f**king awesome BTW!) Cole's care free but cocky attitude and grim determination to do the right thing even though it means sacrifices most of us wouldn't want to make, puts him on my list. Not only that Cols looks like Jason Stathem X3

I swear if they don't make Jason Stathem the main lead for the InFamous movie (Yes you read right there is going to be an INFAMOUS MOVIE!) I will scream in rage cause he's fucking PERFECT for the part!

5. Roy Mustang (Full Metal Alchemist): When I saw this guy I had such a crush on him seriously I thought he was sex on legs, and in a way I still do, if he was real you know he'd be drop dead gorgeous; Roy is pretty confident in himself and tends to tease Edward a lot but deep down he is a very capable leader who cares for and looks after his subordinates, even Edwards whom he teases to no end, of course his dark and haunted side is sexy too. When the conqueror of Shamballa came out I found his eye patch hot, not many men can wear one and still be sexy! (Hence the picture XD)

4. Dante (Devil May Cry): ITS F**KING DANTE! Do I really need to explain why I love him? He's cocky, arrogant sarcastic and a total bad ass; all the men wanna be him and all the chicks either hate him or hate him so much they want him dead (Dante has no luck with women at all XD) Of course he's half demon so he carries a gift and a curse, he has all the advantages a demon has but he has he morality and humility of a human which is why he has and hides, a much kinder side behind his bad attitude.

3. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7): Sephiroth was the very first time I ever had a crush that was a video game character, bear in mind I was only 12 when Final Fantasy 7 came out so yeah it was a MAJOR crush, I loved him so much, and cried when I ended up having to kill him off, of course I was aware he was a bad guy; but the guy was kind of insane thanks to the mako he'd been injected with, and what he learned many years later, he was lied to and deceived, and something in him snapped, In a way I sympathised with Sephiroth even though he was trying to destroy the world.

Of course like Light Yagami my obsession with Sephiroth waned over time....then Sephiroth came back in Kingdom hearts and Final fantasy Advent children! I re-found my love for him, He is a total bad ass and before he went crazy he was rather quiet and withdrawn but patient and intelligent, after wards he did keep most of his qualities but they had become warped and distorted turning these traits into a bad thing.

2. Alex Mercer (Prototype): A newer edition to my list, in fact I think Alex is the second newest addition to my hot sexy man list, (Cole being the newest and most recent) and honestly do I even have to explain why Alex Mercer is BAMF? Just look at him look at his tentacles and those sexy icy blue eyes and tell me you would not want him to tentacle rape you, cause I know I would >:3 Alex is just plain awesome; sure he is a murderer and not human but he's not all that bad of a guy, he's very confused and misunderstood, but hey, he still has some humanity left, that's obvious from how he cares for Dana, and saves her from the hunters and Greene.

1. Altair (Assassins Creed) Okay my obsession with Altair has been born pretty much since the first game, my friend got it free with his PS3 and when I played it I found the gamer kinds repetitive, but what really saved it from me simply turning off the game and never playing it again, was the characters and the story, and how Altair changed as a character as you kill each of the nine templars; Altair goes from this disliked, over confident, arrogant prick who ends up getting Kadar killed and his older brother Malik severely injured, to someone who is much older and wiser by the end of his journey in the first game.

Of course when I learned Altiar would be back in Revelations I flipped my shit, squealed and giggled madly, anyone who KNOWS me, knows that if Altiar was real I would marry him and have his children in a heart beat! His reformed personality makes him wiser, more intelligent and more prone to thinking things through before acting, granted Altair can still be reckless and impulsive (For example he just ran off to face Robert De Sable Without seeing Al Mualim first despite the fact the Templars outnumbered him about 10,000 to 1) but he's still a BAMF will take on any obstacle and beat it no matter the odds.

So...that's my top ten, I'm pretty so NO ONE who knows me JUST a bit, was not at all surprised about my number one choice XD

This was my entry for the CBR X-Board Art Jam, 'Generation Next'. We were given a random pairing of two people in the x-men universe and asked to create their child as an adult. My assigned pairing was Sunspot (Robert da Costa) and Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers). We also had to create a history of the meeting of the parents and a short bio of the OC character (see below).

This took about 16-20 hours over the course of three days. I opted not to spot any blacks and was messy with the colors. Overall, I am happy with the piece.

Codename: Binary
Affiliation: Fantastic Five Member; X-Men Reserve Member; Avengers Reserve Member.
Powers/Abilities:
Henrietta is a mutant whose cells have the ability to absorb solar energy like her father and other forms of energy as her mother could. She can use those energies she absorbs for super strength, to fire concussive photonic blasts, and to fly. Theses abilities vary depending on how much energy she has stored. When she has acquired a vast amount of energy her body projects a energy similar to when her mother was Binary, but black in color like her father. This is a rare phenomenon though as Henrietta must always absorb energy to survive. Because of this, her body does not turn normal food into energy. The only food source which can be converted, albeit very little, is sugars. Most meats and vegetables will react badly to her system as if she had a severe allergic reaction to them.
She is also proficient in Karate and can speak and read fluently English, Portuguese, Kree, and Spanish.

Biography:

It was a relationship that should have never prospered. Robert da Costa, the womanizer, and Carol Danvers, a once active feminist, fell in love. It happened during a mission to stop the mad being Thanos from eradicating all the known galaxies in order to please his Mistress (Infinity Crusade #4). During some downtime on Galactus' ship, they met, struck up a conversation, and after saving the universe began dating. They dated for two years and finally got married in a most extravagant fashion possible (Marvel Universe #1). Carol became pregnant a little time later.

The childbirth was not an easy one. Carol was in labor for twenty-two hours and three minutes in an enclosed hospital room with no windows. It was a painful, stressful, and emotional ordeal. Robert was called all sorts of names in various languages by her, none of which were appropriate, but he stayed by her side through it all. Then the child finally was born . Both parents were overjoyed, but came to realize that the medical staff was not sharing their enjoyment. The child was stillborn. (Avengers vol. 5 #13).

His wife crying, Robert's heart sank. The doctors assured him that it was going to be alright, that these things happen. He did not hear them. How many times did he and his wife save the world? Why couldn't they have just this one little bit of happiness? A loud crash awakened him from his thoughts, he had punched a large hole in the wall. A new windows for a windowless room. Outside the world was bright, noisy, and full of life, unlike in this deathly quiet room. After kissing his wife on the forehead, he gently took the baby from her arms and walked over to the new window. He showed her the view and told her of all the hopes and dreams that they would do as a family. Standing in the sunlight, tears running down his face while talking, he heard a faint cough. Henrietta began to cry to the astonishment to all. The baby was alive! (Avengers vol.5 #14)

Henrietta's, for the most part had a pleasant childhood. As normal as one could have when your parents were always saving the world every other week, so she was always visiting her 'aunts' and 'uncles' with the X-Men and Avengers (both which has excellent daycare facilities). At fourteen years of age, her powers kicked in when she was visiting her favorite uncle Broo of the Fantastic Four. He had invited her to attend a lecture he was giving some students of the Avengers Academy, the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, and the Illyana Rasputin Academy of the Artes. While exploring the Negative Zone, a miniature white star suddenly exploded releasing harmful cosmic energy. While Sue Richards had encased every one with a force field, Henrietta unconsciously began to absorb the energy. She felt better than she had in ages she kept absorbing the energy until her form changed into that of dark energy like her Father, but in a fiery fashion like her mother when she was once Binary. She could fly, albeit not very well, picked up Ben Grimm when hugging him, surprising everyone including herself (Fantastic Five #42). She choose the name Binary as her codename.

There was a huge argument between her parents about which school she should go to, Avengers Academy, or the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Carol finally gave in and let their daughter attend the latter, but still had her attended a couple of bi-weekly classes at Avengers Academy (Wolverine and the X-Men #204). A little while later, Carol went missing on a mission in space. Robert mounted a search and rescue and Henrietta forced him to take her too. They discovered a plot by a fanatic religious cult of Kree who followed an ancient prophecy which stated that a daughter of the Kree would die at birth and be resurrected, and that she would lead them to salvation from their enemies. When the cultists discovered that it was Henrietta and not Carol who was their 'savior' they pushed forward their plans to destroy their enemies, including the current Emperor and staff. After a long battle, Robert, Henrietta, Carol, and a couple of Avengers defeated them and saved the Kree Empire in the process (Ms. Marvel #196-200)

Her adventures over the next couple of years saw her battle the occasional Sentinels, evil mutants, and homework as a junior member of the X-Men. Stopping alien invasions, despotic time traveling conquerors, and more homework with the Young Avengers. Saving the universe from cosmic entities, exploring strange dimensions, and staring down Utau, the Watcher, until he reminded her that she had homework.

Upon graduation, she became a full fledged member of the Fantastic Five, and a reserve member of both the Avengers and the X-Men.

Phew! This one took so long to plan that i've only just finished it (a month after the Doctor Who finale )... it was going to be all about Rory getting sick of people asking him to pose for pictures/portraits with him but i couldn't make it work... so this is my back up plan - and explains how he came to be a security guard in the British Museum.

I hope you can tell those are Rubik's cubes in the second panel... (I like to imagine the Doctor had lots of games stored in the Tardis that he left for Rory to keep him occupied... and it took all of a day to get bored of them. )

It's Avatar week! Best occasion to finish a long planned fan art of the masters.
Ok, I admit that's not really what I planned. Originally I wanted to arrange the Gaang with their teachers therefore the order. Means Aang in the middle, Katara and Zuko on the left, Sokka and Toph on the right. (And yes, teacher/student doesn't match for Bumi/Toph but actually Bumi is the only Earthbender that doesn't look like a total wimp besides Toph. XD) But uhm, yeah, I'm just too slow to paint this stuff. Outlines took me forever! T_T (Don't know if I'll ever manage to finish the whole set - at least not before the finale.)

So here you see just the old Masters:

Iroh - Why is it so hard to draw Iroh? Argh! It's nearly impossible for me to capture his ~~awesomeness~~ irohness (<- is beyond awesome!). <_<
Pakku - I'm convinced that guy dropped into a pot of awesome-sauce as a child and the effect will last forever! Side effects may be some character flaws like arrogance and being a macho but still...
Gyatso - Sadly he's dead for about 100 years and probably had a crowning moment of awesome back then considering all the dead fire nation soldiers around his skeleton. Today he'd so be Iroh's BFF playing pai sho all day long, drinking excellent tea and eating delicious fluffy cakes. <3
Piandao - The youngster among the old masters but still has earned his status by defeating a 100 men army that had come to arrest him after he deserted the army. They never bothered him again and so he can still live in his huge mansion - a luxury Jeong Jeong could just dream of while still playing hide and seek in the woods. lol
Bumi - Our beloved mad genius. I always have to smile while drawing him. Seriously there should be a book like "The pleasure of painting Bumi" or something. ^^

Yeah, another Regular Show picture.
It happens to be my favorite cartoon on CN right now, though Mad is pretty funny too.

This time I put Skips in there.
I did imagine him more Gorilla or Ape-like or whatever he is, but I'm not good at drawing buff men.

Pops woulda been in there too, except Pops is not capable of being drawn as a human.

I cannot imagine him without his gigantic lolipop head. So he escapes me. FOR NOW.

Anyway, our printer ran out of ink, and when it does that it doesn't let us do anything on it, so I won't be able to upload anything until this weekend, theoretically.

Cloak and Dagger - Finished

Okay, I'm totally posting these out of order, but I figured since I already posted so much of the build-up of this piece, I should get the finished article up here as soon as possible.

This is my take the Marvel Comics duo, Cloak & Dagger. It's the third of four paintings I did as submissions to Marvel to try and coax them into giving me some work as a cover painter. So far they haven't bitten yet, but the dream is still alive.

If you aren't familiar with these characters here's a little background:

Tyrone Johnson (Cloak), and Tandy Bowen (Dagger) were 2 teenage runaways that were captured by some unscrupulous men and used as human guinea pigs to test a new illegal street drug. The drug had killed all other test subjects, but for some reason it awakened supernatural powers within them.

Tyrone's body became what could best be defined as living portal to hell. He feels an emptiness deep within that can only be satisfied by consuming the souls of other people. Therefore he's forced to feed on the life-force of others, or risk being driven into madness by the hunger. He uses his cloak to define the boundaries of this portal... and also to just look all cool and moody.

Tandy became a conduit for that same kind of soul energy, and her body overflows with an abundance of her own renewing life-force. Not only can she use this amplified soul energy to create visible light, but she can focus it into projectiles she calls "daggers", hence her name. She probably wanted to call them knives, but Cloak & Knife-Chick just doesnt have the same ring to it.

The two of them can teleport by passing in and out of the portal created by Cloaks body, and Dagger can use her light to shield herself, and others, from the twisted madness and evil that exists within that portal. I tried to illustrate the end of a teleportation as she emerges from Cloaks body and you can see all of the twisted souls within him being turned away by Daggers light.

Anyway, I like it.

Strangely enough, the only powers Ive ever been granted by testing illegal drugs, were the ability to entertain myself for hours by just staring at the back of my own hand, and the ability to piss myself while passed-out unconscious. Will I use them for good or evil? Only time will tell

95% Acrylic painting on illustration board, with about 5% touch-ups and effects in Photoshop.

I was going to sleepwalk through this drawing and not have any background but decided to add something at the last minute. Those are supposed to be sparks flying out on the left side, but I didn't really try to figure out how to draw them, which hurts the drawing overall because I thought Wolverine actually turned out alright. That's also a Sentinel head on the right side.

Not really happy with the claws, as I kinda have his wrists pointing towards the foreground, but didn't really know the best approach to take for the perspective. But again, overall, not the worst I've done. Also used different leads with this, which is kinda distracting when looking at the scan. The physical drawing looks better to my eyes; my scanner might need to be upgraded to one that's actually compatible with Windows 7.

Ok, it goes pretty much like this -

1. 2H pencil
2. Copics
3. More copics!
4. Color Pencils (ink outline; don't usually use ink on my cards much)
5. And white gouache (my favorite bit!) which I often then color over with pencils to get the right shade

There's about 40 to 45 minutes between each pic.
Yes, you're right... I do work very slowly.

Look at this pic and then try to forget everything you've seen here.
I think my method is a little erratic and crazy. If I'm coloring the face and I get bored, I'll color something else.
I'm all over the place man!

Diary entry 2:

When I got back to the lab I got straight on.
The sample was still quite damaged and it took me weeks to find what parts I needed. It was one of the most complicated codes I had ever seen. Most living things have ten base codes, this had twelve...

I had to borrow from different Pokémon that matched closely to the ancient Pokémon’s DNA.
I took traits of a Persian as they had similar feline traits and I worked closely with Alakazam DNA to support its base codes.

My team and I worked tirelessly through night after night making sure there were no loose ends. The countless times we missed something and caused fatal problems in other experiments, sometimes unnoticeable until the process had been completed. It’s painful to see one of your creations, your children dying in your arms.

The founder of this institution had originally designed it for cloning humans, he had lost a daughter and was trying to fill the hole that her death had left, but sadly the codes were unstable and we lost her. He then left, refusing to continue work on anymore projects including ours.
Our benefactors became very interested in our research and put a lot of money into the project, deciding make it classified... I was devastated by this decision as I had great plans to publish my work, but now it must all be kept behind closed doors.
A man from TR Inc came to our lab, telling us changes his superior wanted in the DNA. They wanted to make it stronger, for us to expand its brain and physical strength ten fold... it was madness, this creature was a marvel of nature in the first place...they wanted to create the strongest Pokémon ever to live... a living god.
When I refused they threatened to kick me out and I couldn’t see all my hard work flushed down the toilet.
I did as they asked.

We created the synthesised fertilised egg, put it into a growth cylinder with nutrient liquid in and ran a small pulse of electricity through it... the cell began to divide.
We had created life once again.
But it wasn’t over. Synthesized embryos are just as unstable as real ones and with all the information and continuing testing through the entire 'regnancy' we had to do; it was very risky, especially with something with so much money behind it.
We could only create one as the DNA code was so complicated. Once it got past the perspective danger zone we could then take samples from the animals and clone them.

The embryo was strong; the enhanced genetics we had done made the process much more stable.
It started to have brain patterns at very early stages; even in its pupil stage it had the intelligence of a new born baby.
As it grew I noticed physical changes also.
The Alakazam DNA had given its ears a hardened effect along with abra like shoulders.
Mews classic colour had always been a creamy/pink colour but the Persian DNA had given it a silk like white fur, apart from its tail which was a deep purple which I assume was a darkening of the pigment from the original DNA.

I used to watch it for hours, id just watch it sleeping, wondering was amazing things could be going on in its head. I was like a father and this was my child as I had no children of my own. I wondered what it would make of me.

As it grew it got stronger, both physically and mentally.
There were times when it would have what we could only imagine were night terrors. It would struggle and its heart rate would double, it then started to lash out and once cracked the glass.
We upgraded it to a bullet proof glass cylinder to stop this from happening but it started to scare me... it started to scare everyone.
Security was tripled and high level Alakazams were on call if needed.
Its psychic powers became very apparent when things started to move independently outside of the tube.
We used a new technology that rendered physic abilities void so there wouldn’t be any more problems through the rest of the development.
A few other experiments died and it had an adverse effect on him, he got agitated and we had to up his dose of the tranquiliser we were using to keep him in his comatose state.
One day our benefactor revealed himself when he made a surprise visit to the lab.
His name was Mr Giovanni, a very rich and powerful business man.
He wanted a demonstration of its power but I had to assure him that it wasn’t ready.
He said he would return in a week and he wanted to see results, otherwise he would pull the plug on our funding.
We had to move quickly, we updated our experiments and checks which put extra strain on the animal.

A week later Giovanni returned and he wanted to see it... it was time for its birth.

Giovanni was a cold man, slicked back jet black hair with a rich Italian tan. He wore a dark move suit and a black tie.
His lackeys stood around him in black suits and dark glasses.
He walked right up to the tank and tapped the glass. I ran up to stop him but I was pushed back by his security.

"Is it strong?" he said in a thick east London accent.
"Well we have built up it’s..." I tried to answer
"Is it strong!?" he said turning to me.
He was an intimidating man after only one thing, power...
"Yes... extremely..." I said sheepishly.
"Good" an evil grin cracked across his face.
"What’s it called..." he said staring through the glass.
I paused. He turned and looked waiting for the answer.
"Mew... 2" I sighed
"Mewtwo... open it up!" he said

A couple of men in white coats who had just walked in began to tap wildly on our computers.
"Wait, you don’t know what you’re doing... you have to wake him gently!" I cried
"I don’t have time for gently professor..." Giovanni grunted.

As the waking fluid pumped down the tubes, his readings seemed fine... until something went wrong. His brain activity went wild and its muscles began to tense...

In the hideout the Mad Hatter uses in the episode "Worry Men," there is a guillotine. I have always found it funny that someone just left that guillotine there...or that they had a guillotine there in the first place. I kind of wanted to play on that. Jervis is obviously thrilled about it; Jonathan seems to be sharing the same concerns I have.

I bet they played with it soon after this picture.

Well~ today I was watching a LOT of x-men evo episodes and yesterday I was reading about the relationship between Pietro and Crystal... and I just keep wondering what would happen if Crystal were a character in the x-men evolution universe??
hahahahaha~ this is just my interpretation, LOL
don't take it very seriously xDD and hope you like it!! I had a lot of fun drawing this guys, like... always hahaha~ xDD also, I played with the background!! something I almost never do... I'm very happy with this work tough maybe I could add more shadows... but meh... I was lazy :I

X-men Supreme Phoenix Saga Cover

It's coming! That was the tagline for Marvel when the Phoenix Force returned to Earth in the pages of Avengers vs. X-men. Well it's finally here in the pages of X-men Supreme! The Phoenix Saga has arrived! I already indicated as such at the end of Issue 62: Partners In Madness Part 2. I've been teasing it even longer since the end of X-men Supreme Volume 2: Ashes of Hope. Well the teasing is done! The Phoenix Force is here and as such I've enlisted the talented services of Brian Brinlee to bring the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to life. From the very beginning, I wanted X-men Supreme to have a unique feel. That includes costumes and appearances. He's already shown he can bring those designs to life with the uniforms. Now he's done it again with the Phoenix Force! We both discussed the design in great detail. Overall, I think he's done a great job of giving Jean Grey a unique look that is distinct. The Great Society of Mystery Men

Doc Savage and his group have helped protect the world for years fighting mad men, cults, and monsters. One day though they dissappeared. The shadow tried to look into it but found he needed more help than just himself. He found there was a group that was so insidious that not even he could bring them to their knees and save doc savage and his group alone. He created a society of mystery men to fight this and save him. They saved them and stayed together to help fight things that noone could alone.

They are the GREAT SOCIETY OF MYSTERY MEN!

The Shadow- a crime-fighting vigilante in the pulps, which carried over to the airwaves as a "wealthy, young man about town" with psychic powers.

Mandrake the Magician- He learned his superhuman abilities during years of schooling in tibet when he was but a youth. Along with his friend and ally Lothar, an African prince who chooses to pose as his valet and bodyguard, he uses his powers to battle crime.

The Clock-A society man and former district attorney Brian O'Brien is the clock a masked detective who had a secret, underground lair and was a hypnotist.

Lothar- Mandrake first met Lothar during his travels in Africa. Lothar was "Prince of the Seven Nations", a mighty federation of jungle tribes; but forbore to become king and instead followed Mandrake on his world travels. Lothar is often referred to as "the strongest man in the world", with the exception of Hojo Mandrake's chef and secret chief of Inter Intel, an international crimefighting organization.

The Phantom-In the jungles of the fictional African country of Bangalla, there is a myth featuring The Ghost Who Walks, a powerful and indestructible guardian of the innocent and fighter of all types of injustice. Because he seems to have existed for generations, many believe him to be immortal.

Tarzan-an archetypal feral child raised in the African jungles by the Mangani "great apes"; he later experiences civilization only to largely reject it and return to the wild as a heroic adventurer.

X-Men - Storm Pt 3, The Outback Look

Upon returning to the X-Men from her self-imposed exile in Africa, Storm challenged Cyclops for the sole leadership of the X-Men. Even though she was still without her mutant abilities, Storm relied on her cunning and agility to outwit Cyclops in battle effectively besting him to become the X-Men's official leader.

A short time later, Storm faced what would be one of the most gruelling and gruesome battles the X-Men would ever have to face. The villainous Marauders took to the sewers beneath New York City to slaughter the Morlocks. Very few of the Morlocks survived and the X-Men barely survived the fight against the Marauders when they came to the defence of the Morlocks. Though they achieved a narrow victory against the Marauders, Storm realized the X-Men would need to make a strong stance against them when they targeted Dazzler and Jean Grey's sister Sara. Storm devised a new strategy. The first step was regaining her mutant abilities which she was able to do when Forge created a new device to return her powers.

Returning to Earth, Storm utilized the second part of her plan. She struck a deal with the goddess Roma during their battle with the Adversary which led the world to believe the X-Men were dead when in fact they had been resurrected by Roma and could now operate anonymously in the world without having to worry about their enemies coming after their loved ones. Storm subsequently relocated the team to the Australian outback where they operated out of an abandoned base used formerly by the dastardly Reavers.

Storm successfully led her team against numerous threats during this time -- including an assault on the mutant slave nation Genosha when her teammates Rogue and Wolverine were captured. However, their greatest battle came when they were betrayed by their one-time ally Madelyne Pryor. Driven mad by the dissolution of her marriage to Cyclops due to his emotional infidelity, Madelyne became the evil Goblyn Queen and summoned demons to wreak havoc on the Earth. The X-Men came under the demonic influence of the evil forces the Goblyn Queen had recruited for a time and were forced to battle their former teammates who had banded together to form X-Factor. Storm and her team eventually broke free from their influence just in time to destroy the puppet-master N'astirh and defeat the Goblyn Queen. Storm was briefly reunited with her best friend Jean Grey whom she'd come to believe had died during the Dark Phoenix Saga.

The reunion was short-lived as Cyclops and Storm realize their two teams were in different places both physically and ethically. Cyclops stayed in New York City with his while Storm returned to Australia with hers.

Another Patty and Selma picture with Lisa. Based off the phrase, "The bitterness is strong in this one." In episode " Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Marge". Remember when Patty and Selma talked to Lisa about men.

It's an abstract interpretation of that phrase in the episode. I wanted the smoke to invoke the first appearance of Darth Vader, which Lisa does look generally sinister. Also Patty and Selma are little heavier in this pic.

Hi!!!

Yeah people!! … believe the unbelievable!.... a fussion between Vegeta, the prince of all saiyans ( ) and Vlad Plasmius, the master of evilness ( ) _{overall cuz these two kinda hate each other …in my mind of course LOL XD}

Gosh….. …uhm..ahem..excuse me, i´m obsessed..again XD (ya know …i´m crazy )

Ok…once I tought about draw this, also my bro told me the same but 4 somehow just when I read the comment of ~karfsma778 _{(their comment said “holyshiz, imagine if they met each other and then fuse!” …or something like that XD)} suddenly the inspirations came to me like a thunder X,D …and I must say that I never tought that the V-men´s fussion could be so, so SO SMEXY! …omg…if I love them separated…. Now I just can´t stop … i´m in loooove!!! Mad in love! I tell you!!! …oh… I was waiting to this for so long …

_{For those who doesn´t know what a fussion can do (I don´t think so XD)… i´ll tell ya:

He has the powers of Vegeta like every saiyan (super strength, fly, ki energy-blasts, upload energy levels… also, the powers of a ghost (intangibility, invisibility, ecto-energy blasts, open portals… )… even… he has a tail 8D (cuz the super level he has…yeah, is the reason so just let me be XD)… so yeah…Ooozaru powers! ... XD…and of course, his intelligence is super increased too (the V-men are intelligent separated, ok?)….and oh well.. if you was wondering… yeah…he is kinda evil..uhm…like an anti-hero LOL XD (but he can be so evil, short-tempered and arrogant sometimes haha XD…dunno why ¬w¬ )... yes...i made him so powerfull XD}

About this so omg-supersmexy guy (sorry…can´t evit being a fangirl of my own char XD) …I only has a little..veeery little problem… I dunno what is his name TwT … I mean… I have some options but i´m not sure: Vlagita (in Spanish that sounds weird cuz that reminds another thing –a zipper- LOL), Veglad (personally, I like this one more since the first XD) or Vladta (yeah, i´m not so creative with names LOL …also is a fussion so the names should mix too)…if you could tell me another name I´d love that

Alright, this is it. I have had enough of drawing Super Birds at the moment. I might revisit it again at a later stage but for the moment I am all bird'ed out.

So here we have it folks, all the Super Birds I have been doing over the last few days on the one perch.

For those that need help identifying the birds we have (starting at the bottom, left to right)...

Ms Marvel Bird, Ghost Bird, Birdpool, Spider-Bird, Superbird, Birdclops, Surfin' Bird, Batbird and Captain Canary.
And of course at the top we have Bird Venom and Thorbird.

All the birds here were done by hand and coloured with coloured pencil and the background/ perch is something I quickly knocked up in Photoshop.

X-Men - Destroy Your Maker

I submitted the line art for this last month... here's the colored finalized version. Hells yes! This piece took about an hour to ink and 10 hours to color and arrange. *HEADDESK* I love the end result but good god this was a pain in the ASS!

This pic is 2 things... one, its kind of how I wished Curse of the Mutants would have ended... with Jubilee full on turning on Xarus. And two, its a scene from a "rp/fanfic" my friends and I are writing in which before Xarus was killed, he managed to implant a bit of himself in Jubilee's head, slowly driving her mad. Psylocke helps Jubilee go into her own mind and Jubilee destroys the bit of Xarus that was locked in her head. Twas an awesome scene.

I automatially love anyone who recognizes this guy.

And for those of you who don't recognize him this is Pretorius, the mad scientist (or "chaos theorist" as he refers to himself) in Edge City from the cartoon The Mask the Animated Series.

Quite possibly my most favorite fictional character ever. There's just something about an evil villian who made it so his head is detachable and can walk around seperatly from his body on little metal spider legs that's so irrisistable. (that or I just have weird taste in men) Either way this guy just screams "awesome".

A common misconception about Pretorius is that his body is fully robotic. It's not. He's just a cyborg. You can tell his body is still real flesh and blood because he still feels pain. (as seen in the episode "Mutany of the Bounty Hunters") And then there was that one time (in "Bride of Pretorius") when he wanted to find a wife so he could wipe out the rest of humanity and restart the human race himself. Can't do THAT without a "real" body now, could he?

But anyways, favorite character from my favorite cartoon Mask the Animated Series. I figured it was about time I posted something for it.
