The ghostly wind that rushed over the fallen and dead trees did nothing to prevent the poor girl's trembling heart, the pale moonlight of the moon vanishing frequently behind misty clouds.  It was Halloween night, and much to her displeasure, Namine was dragged on a hunt with her sister and her boyfriend. The couple had decided to be Sally and Jack this year, wanting to match in order to signify their relationship. Oh and, there's a lot of cryptic stuff in here you have to think about and draw your own conclusions to.

But yeah, this is mainly for all the fans of Dead Channel who wanted more, hopefully everyone likes it ;u;

I'm also not done there, I'm still going to do one more thing with Dead Channel, so you can look forward to that in the future~

It was around eight PM, and my daughter had been in her room playing video games since eight AM. I'd heard her scream a few times throughout the day, but recently she'd been getting into horror games, and that was now a normal occurrence so I thought nothing more of it. But since she'd been in there literally all day without leaving once I needed to take an intervention.

Much of the evolved life on Earth was destroyed, especially the animals. It was an event so cataclysmic that it destroyed almost everything, all that had been achieved so far. However, because of that cataclysm, new life sprung up instead, and eventually gave rise to the mammals, which eventually led to us.

In essence, impact theory is the theory that no matter how big a disaster is, it always comes with some positive consequence, that there is always the potential for something better- from the ashes a fire shall be woken.

Notes about the fic:

This story is about Rosalin, a girl who lives in the town of Welkna. One day, Welkna is attacked (read the amazing Land of the Sky comic to find out by whom and why, thumbs at the bottom) and Rosalin survives. She meets with a strange, shadowed man (won't say who) who passes three children into her care. I estimate Fate to be 4 or 5ish years old at the time, Kain and Shira to be about 7. By the end of the story, Fate is 14, and Kain and Shira are 17.

I don't know how old Rosalin was at the time of Welkna, so I made her really young because she struck me as a really young, really determined character in her few appearances in the comic. I don't really know/remember off the top of my head if Fate told Rosalin and his adopted siblings his real name, Luka; if he did, when; or who gave the name of Fate. I'm thinking that the man with horns probably did, to hide Luka's true identity, and that Shira probably would've listened when he told them... I'm purely speculating.

Important bit about the characters' races. In Land of the Sky, humans live alongside part-humans, many of which are magical in some respect. Fate and Kain are elves (part fae, part human), I believe Rosalin is as well, and Shira is from the Rabbit Clan. More information can be found here:

Also, believe me, I cringed when I wrote the stuff about graduation, but I thought it's a common enough tradition in most cultures, a coming-of-age ceremony, and Welkna probably had a school, for technical skills if nothing. It's set pre-industrial, I think. Er.... please excuse my artistic license abuse. ._.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy it, and I greatly enjoyed writing for this contest. I'm going to keep adding to this story over the next few days, because now I can't stop thinking about these characters. I actually really like the family of Rosalin, Fate, Kain, and Shira as shown in the comic. Family dynamics are often the most difficult to pull off in any creative fiction, but thinking about these four really got to me. ;_;

Update: So I just reread LotS, and I realized I got a lot of things wrong about, well, a lot of things. Primarily the events of that night Welkna was destroyed, and how Rosalin met the kids for the first time. I don't even think Shira was mentioned as being there at the time... or if Rosalin was even a resident of Welkna. D: So much unknown! I honestly cannot wait for the LotS story to develop further, because I am insanely curious about the backstory. Also, Aros is a jerk. 8(

It's a question Welknan schoolteachers ask their students every year, from the day the children enter school to the day the young adults leave. Answers are carefully catalogued and presented to the students at their graduation ceremony in a beautifully decorated scrapbook made by the teacher of each student, added to each year, growing with the child.

It's arguably a silly tradition, and perhaps even morbid to remind the adults of failed childhood dreams, but it's meant to inspire and the children love it, and it's something to do anyway.

Okay, so I didn't stray away too much from the original story, but for those who may have read this before, I did make a few noticeable changes.

First, in the intro, I stopped referring Jeff as a man because, like many of you suggested, he's not really a man at the time the story takes place, and it has to be at least somewhat ambiguous.

Second, I seasoned the story with a little more imagery where I thought it needed some, for obvious reasons.

Third, I changed the injury that Jeff receives towards the end from his shoulder to his thigh. Why? Because it sounded a little too similar to when he attacked the witness's father in the intro! Plus, it makes the fight a little more interesting when the victim is limping to save his skin instead of running...

So I hope you guys enjoy this because I took a lot of time into fixing it! ]]>

After weeks of unexplained murders, the ominous unknown killer is still on the rise. Several counties of police units have failed to find valuable evidence, but a young boy states that he survived one of the killer's attacks. So the Grand Galloping Gala wasn't as grand as everypony had anticipated. Twilight hadn't been able to spend her quality time with Princess Celestia. Applejack hadn't gained any revenue from her apples. Rainbow Dash didn't get any time with her precious Wonder Bolts. Pinkie Pie was expecting a wild party, not a fancy and sophisticated one. Fluttershy didn't make any new animal friends. Even Rarity never found her true love.

Okay so if you don't know what's happening then the Hetalia Theory is that the nations were human, died, and the Hetalia world is purgatory. America had died of anorexia nervosa, which explains a lot actually.
- Why he responded negatively when England said he would get fat
- Why he hates cold weather
- Why he tried so hard to find other methods of weight lose

And in case you didn't know, at the end he dies because you destroy your throat when you throw up. You know how your stomach is filled with acid? And you throw up what's in your stomach? Some of the acid comes up to and slowly burns through your throat, which is why your throat burns when you throw up. So basically he had done it enough times and his body became so weak it destroyed his throat and got into his lungs.

Basically the premise for this story is my own interpretation of Kyurem. When I first played through the game and learned of this terrible man and Pokemon-eating monster who is also rumored to be Reshiram and Zekrom's original body, I got the impression that Kyurem was actually a zombie.

The latter still holds true. Kyurem being a zombie just seems to fit for me.

I'm not sure how effective this pasta is, or even if it's any good and/ or scary, but I did have fun writing it, so I hope you enjoy it at the very least. <3

Maturity tag applied for scenes of gore.

It's wasn't until the release of Black and White that I was able to get my very own Nintendo DS. A friend had been lending me hers when I had purchased Platinum and SoulSilver to play several months back, so needless to say I was pretty excited to finally have the chance to play through future games at my own pace, without needing to stop at strange intervals.

To celebrate, I figured I could spoil myself a little more and pick up a copy of P ]]>

That thing must've been one of the single most frustrating bosses I've ever fought in my gaming life. My parents and I live in a huge mansion. My parents usually aren't around due to business, but I'm old enough to take care of myself. Besides, I have some friends that I played Pokémon with all the time.

Sometimes when I played my game, strange things would happen. Sometimes certain Pokémon would randomly appear in my game, even though they don't appear in a certain route. This is because I live near a cemetery, and the spirits ]]>

Well, it's been a while, but I'm finally back in the swing with things. Here's the starter to my new batch of pastas I'm going to make real soon, and this is only an appetizer. What I've got in store is gonna be worth a lot more |D

Now that I'm done with my cheesy rhyming and figurative language...

I bet a lot of you right now are thinking: I don't get what happened.

Well, if you haven't ever read or seen any of the beta stuff in Gold and Silver, then you probably won't, and I don't blame you. Here's a quick summary of what was actually going on in the story:

This whole thing is supposed to be like a "Beta Story" for the game that was scrapped and unused, and connected a lot of the beta elements and weird glitches together.

There's unused text in Ecruteak City you need to hack hack to find, where there's a man who's daughter is lost in the Burned Tower. Also, if you go to Glitch City, sometimes it will take you to a black room that plays the Burned Tower theme. There's a black and white pony tailed girl there too who battles you, often called the "Ghost of Glitch City". Naturally, those two are often connected.

There's also an unused house map in Olivine City where a woman references to a pharmacy in Ecruteak, pretty self explanitory.

Kurusu and all those other Pokémon in the Soul House are beta Pokémon for Gold and Silver and the way back then Capsule Monsters that were never released.

Gold and Silver were also planned to be brothers in the early beta. And it's official that Silver is Giovanni's son, so, that would mean Gold is his son too. I also made the girl in the Burned Tower Giovanni's daughter for story convienance.

In this "Beta Story", after Team Rocket was defeated, he regathered a couple of them and took over Pokémon Tower and made it into the Kanto Radio Station. But the ghosts that originally lived there got pissed at him, and haunted him and the other team members.

Giovanni's daughter was still with him at the tower, so the ghosts possessed her, in revenge, and tortured Giovanni.

When Gold finds the girl in the Burned Tower, she's already long gone, and he can't save her. Same for the Kurusu she had, and he couldn't save it either. When he goes to Glitch City, or in this is like a ghost world thing, the girl gives him a Spell Tag, thus letting the ghosts possess Gold.

So Gold goes to the Kanto Radio Station, gets past the guard, and reads the journals. The beta Pokémon were Team Rocket's failed experiment, and thrown in the Soul House. He fights Giovanni, who is then sent to the Glitch City and unable to be saved, and goes after Silver.

Silver was completely unnaffected by the ghosts, but Gold fought and beat him, thus letting the ghosts possess him. Him and his team was then sent to the Glitch City, and unable to be saved.

Gold then goes to the Soul House, where he sees the graves of all the Beta Pokémon in Team Rocket's failed mutation experiment. His mom is there, who had never told him about his other family.

Mr. Fuji then takes Gold to the other chambers, where in the game it says only Mr. Fuji is only able to go to. He seals away Gold, who is then lost in the Glitch City, and unable to be saved.

Unreleased Pokémon, scrapped events and plot, whole unused areas, tons of odd tidbits of unused data and text... It was really something. This coupled along with the fact that boredom is boring, and ROMs are free and easy.

This was hell to type! I wanted it to be different from the prequel, but still the same. I tried to show connections and symbolism in this story, especially with the merry-go-round and the whole doll/puppet thing. I hope you guys liked the sequel. I do have something already in motion in case many of you want a part 3. I left an opening to the story so I could fulfill that. However, that won’t be up until NEXT Halloween.

It’s hard to make a sequel that could live up to the original. Hopefully I was able to do a good job with this. Was it scary? I’m not sure XD. Horror tends to be a difficult genre to write. I think I was trying to go for a different type of scare when making this. Either way, hope you all enjoyed it. If you liked the original better, that’s always fine . Originals always tend to keep the magic anyway.

I don’t know if there was enough rokunami here. I mean, it is a horror story, so I didn’t want to make it “romantic” as I do “disturbing”. Anyway, I had fun writing this. Also, this was MUCH longer than “Carnival of Rust”. It was close to almost 30 pages! I’m happy to have made it though. Happy Halloween everyone!

Oh! And BIG amount of credits to for the AMAZING and poster like cover for this story! She really captured the theme and image of the sequel's plot. I like how chilling it is to stare at ;w;. I appreciate her so much with working with me during her busy schedule and for being such a dear friend/sister to me. So please, go fav and comment about the cover here

Anyway, hope to see you all again next Halloween. God knows, mine keeps getting canceled .

There was an eerie sound of pipe organs playing in the distance. It was dark, keeping the moon hidden behind the ghostly fog of Halloween. Xion remembered it well, for it was the night of her sister's disappearance. She walked through the trees with her feet floating above the ground. She was looking through someone else's eyes, seeing the horror of their demise. She made it to the entrance of the carnival, a clawed hand welcoming her inside. She shunned the invitation, pushing the gate on her own to enter. The person with the clawed hand continued to persist for her company&mda ]]> belated Halloween everyone! So this is a belated birthday present for my lovely friend since today did not feel like a special day for her and she had been constantly down in the dumps.

As you may have noticed, I tried a completely different style for this story and all I can say is that I have been waaaay into RPG maker games. So this story contains all the good stuff from Ib, The Witch’s House and Mad Father while incorporating Bridget’s idea of Shifters and Casters PLUS her other contest idea about a Hetalia character being a butler (which apparently got voted down/ used some Kuroshitsuji).

Yeah. This fic took WAAY too long to finish but I’m satisfied with the way it turned out.

It was lovely day, and I was sitting in my room, playing with my dolls. I loved to collect dolls. Plush dolls, especially. There was that Charizard one, and the Zigzagoon one, all of them were Pokemon dolls. All except one. It was a weird gray one, with big yellow eyes that stared at me. And the mouth that's just a zip.

I had tried unzipping the zip, and found a piece of candy there. I ate it, and it tasted bitter. Horribly bitter. One of the reasons I hated that doll. I stuffed stones into the zip and flung it to one corner. I would call it ]]>

Yeah, I decided to try my hand at a Cupcakes-like horror fic (though it is very different from Cupcakes in purpose and methods), so I figured I'd post it here (though it's also on FiMfiction.net - my name there is Shadowed Rainbow) and on fanfiction.net, with my username there being PotterPhantomKitten. This first chapter isn't real bad compared to others, being mainly setting description. However, I will say this...

WARNING: Especially starting with Chapter 2, this is grimdark on a beyond-Cupcakes level, and the author of The Experiments of Twilight Sparkle has directly said that this is a more disturbing story than his. Reader discretion is VERY strongly advised.

Also comments are appreciated. Ultimate goals:
A. Finish writing the fic (Wow, how ironic that that's the last thing on the goal list to be accomplished)
B. Get eventual reading of fic on YouTube (MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!:

Someone in a comment did mention it would be a cool to have a comic book adaption of this, and while I do agree that would be awesome, the fic is extremely long and it would take a LOT of time - the Cupcakes comic is already over 40 pages and it's not done yet, and that story is relatively short. However, if anypony happens to really want to do a comic adaption, I won't object.

The studious unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle was within the library which she called home, rummaging around through a series of books.  A few of these books were on history, such as ancient ponies who had influenced Equestria in its early days.  The ones closer to her though, those that one would for the most part be unable to see, had to deal with various aspects of pony health.  Her current tome to scrutinize was one called Equine Emotions: Psychological Studies on the Mind, skimming through each of the pages.  Just for research.  Never knew when it could come in handy.

England died of hallucinagetic drugs ("magic mushrooms"). He used Psilocybin/Psilocin mushrooms and Amanita muscaria mushrooms. This explains:
- He sees imaginary things/magic
- Why he feels so happy around his imaginary friends

He died because if you take enough, and it takes a lot, these can kill you. Also, a lot of times instead of growing the mushrooms themselves, people will go out and hunt for them. They can easily pick toxic ones that will kill you and England just happened to have eaten a toxic one. Also, magic mushrooms have the same effect as LSD and others of the sort but you can have a "bad trip". This is what England had where everything became a distorted nightmare.

What happened in reality was England sat on the plastic table ("marshmallow seat") and was actually petting the glass on the table he had knocked over and cut his hand. His body went into spasms due to the amanita muscaria and his pupils dialated.

In Pokemon Black and White, when you reach Lacunosa Town, people there go inside at night because of Kyurem, the "monster" the people talk about, who, according to some, would kidnap people and Pokemon to eat them.

Yeah, I found that kinda creepy, so I decided to write about it, ASSUMING IT WAS TRUE, I doubt it is.

I should have listened to them… I should have been a good little girl like all of the other kids living in Lacunosa Town with me and went home. No one can protect me now. I haven't moved an inch. It's so cold… My tears are frozen. But why am I crying? Tears won't do me any good. IT doesn't care. IT still wants my skin. I'm probably gonna die in a few minutes if it decides to move.

We were hatched only an hour ago, by a trainer who had white hair and red eyes. We smiled up at her and hugged her knees for bringing us into the world, and all she did was frown.

Her eyebrows squinched together and her mouth became a straight line, was she hurt? or angry? Had we done something wrong?
We peered up at her, whispering among ourselves.

She began to walk away, and so we followed. She turned, and said she was releasing us. We didn't know what this meant. She began to walk away again, and again we followed.
